Best baby app

I have searched and tried so many apps for babies with advice and tracking and I luckily came across this one, it is the best one it has everything you could want plus more, it is so convenient to have everything you need in one place.

Very Biased

I do like this app very much, its great for tracking milestones and I get excited to see what my baby will be accomplishing throughout each month. However, it’s very biased on that ALL it ever talks about is breastfeeding, never formula. Being someone who tried to breastfeed their baby and couldn’t due to health reasons, this is very disheartening and a little unfair they make parents feel like bad people for not breastfeeding. I know breastfeeding is best for baby but should have a little more respect for peoples feelings and circumstances.

Amazing app but 1 big problem for me personally.

I love the milestones, the info about how baby should be developing and all of those little extras that come with this app.

Unfortunately however, the breastfeeding recorder is no good as it doesn’t count down. My baby doesn’t feed in 5 minute intervals, I would prefer a timer like other apps.

Also another problem I have is that you don’t seem to be able to adjust records afterwards. Sometimes I’ve mistyped or need to add on but I don’t seem to be able to do that.

For me those two issues made the app pretty useless, however to somebody else it may be unimportant.

Excellent

I love this app! Brilliant for both baby and mum. Recording his patterns of sleeping, eating and nappy changes is really easy and can be edited. I like the feature to record both baby weight (as well length) and my weight. Also important vaccination info can be recorded. I adore the daily diary and daily photo and that you can send this as a pdf to family whenever you want. There are really useful tips also. Honestly I can’t find any fault with this, it’s brilliant and is used numerous times a day. I contacted the app developers with some questions and found their customer service very helpful and professional. Thank you! 😀

Amazing App I use every day for my baby!!

This app is absolutely brilliant! Not only does it provide really useful information as your little one grows but it also allows you to keep track of your babies eating, sleeping and nappy changes which as a new mum is very reassuring as sleep deprivation can make it hard to remember these things!

The only thing I think could make the app even better is the ability to save articles from the daily blog/guides that I’d want to read in the future as they change everyday.

Great

This is a great little app that does a fair bit. I have mostly used the baby tracking functions for feeds and nappy tracking. The only additional function I would love to see added is a tracker for expressed breastmilk, to track the timing and volume pumped. I’m having to use another program for that presently and the addition of that would really complete the app for me

The best baby app by far!

I never really leave reviews but this is by far the best baby tracking app I have used! I honestly cannot praise it enough - everything you could possibly want and more is included!

The best part is the daily photo and downloadable yearbook! I’ve been adding to it daily and it’s such a lovely idea to print off for your little one to remember their first year!

There are a few minor bug bears but nothing worth getting annoyed about! I would recommend this app highly and am just annoyed that I didn’t find it until my little one was a month old! Thank you to the developers for creating such a fantastic app!

Indispensable

This app is indispensable. It has some minor improvements that could be made, yes - but these do not drastically effect the functionality.

The main, and most useful features of the app is that it allows you to track feeds (breast or bottle (including expressed milk), nappy changes and your little ones sleep as basics - but you can also track your own weight and all things medical for your baby (medicine, vaccines and doctors appointments). It offers up guides, white noise and lullabies as well and there is a lovely year book feature as well which has a diary (so you can write out what’s happened in your baby’s day) and a face a day slide show.

Genuinely love the app and use it every day. When you’ve only had two hours sleep and the midwives are asking how many nappies you’re changing or how often he feeds it helps to have a back up brain where it’s all there for you to look at and be able to answer.

Finally - I mentioned some areas for improvement - when I emailed the app developers about it I expected my email to drop into the ether, maybe I’d get a generic ‘thanks for your email, we appreciate the feedback’ response. Instead within half an hour, I got a response from an actual human person - showing that the support team behind the app is still thriving.

Cannot recommend the app enough.

Nice but...

Very useful app, it should give the option of adding personal notes to everything though!

For example colour of poop, spitting up/vomiting after feed, fake nursing (as baby looks for comfort more than milk), where baby slept (arms, my bed, their bed..)and so on.

Lost all my information! ☹️

I had been using the app to track all my daughters milestones and it’s been fine for the last 9 months but now I can’t get in - the app just crashes each time I try to open it! I’ve spoken to customer support who basically just asked me repeatedly to ‘turn it on and off again’ as this didn’t work I’ve basically been told there’s nothing else they can do! As you can imagine this is very upsetting as this it the only app I’ve been using to track her progress!

Do not use to track anything you don’t mind losing!

Useful app

In general this is a good app. However, it would be good to be able to record feeds in less than 5 min increments. Also to be able to add your own notes to nappies rather than just the preset. However these are minor points.

A major difficulty to me is the way that left and right are shown on the icon when you click which side you’re feeding from. The picture is counter intuitive! Could you add a L and R to the picture for us sleep deprived parents who can’t think in mirror images?

Brilliant app to use following on from pregnancy+ with lots of helpful tools.

It would be better if there were a “continuous” option for white noise as my baby loves the hairdryer sound but it goes off after 120 mins which often makes him stir then wake.

Must have!

The tracking (feed, sleep and nappy) features of this app make it worthwhile on their own. In the early weeks of breastfeeding remembering which side to start on while sleep deprived is a nightmare! I’ve found the app so useful!

Overall great. Recently annoying

A great app that is starting to get annoying, as every time I load it it asks for me to accept to privacy agreement. I’ve accepted it already STOP ASKING!!!

This is from an overtired emotional parent who’s at the end of her wits with a baby who eats for over 9hrs and doesn’t sleep...so the last thing I need when I’m starting and ending a feed at 2am is to accept the damn terms AGAIN!

It’s been over a flipping month already.

*EDIT*

Once I calmed down and became less of an emotional wreck, with hormones and lack of sleep, and I actually contacted the team, they were bloody brilliant. We’ve had weeks of back and forth with them helping me fix the problem, and it now seems to be working. I’ve changed my star rating based on the support and guidance that was given (as now I’m the issue is fixed there is nothing wrong with this app).

I have also recommended this app and the pregnancy+ app to my friends who have found out they’re expecting.

Thank you for dealing with my crazy new attitude, I’m working on toning that down ASAP 🙈.

Great app but...

As a mother of three, I tracked all my babies activities with one app called baby connect which is great. I found this app when pregnant with third and I like all the extra functions of this!

However the timer for feeding and sleeping has to be put in manually is a downside.

Another suggestion is it would be nice to be able to save, favourite or bookmark the baby blog for future reference.

Overall this is a great app! I use this everyday to record baby sleeping, photos weights milestone etc. And use Baby Connect to record feeding and nappies.

I’m absolutely disappointed!! The app used to work perfectly but since the moment I’ve updated it all the records that I’ve already had about my son gone... it wasn’t supposed to work like that so.

As a new Dad I’ve found the app unbelievably sexist, telling me ‘there’s nothing much I can do’ my job is purely to be tolerated. I find this utterly disgusting as there so much I can do. I’m not just a man who’s there to get in the way I’m a parent too. I would ask that you change the wording of several sections and refresh the app for a new Dad’s section. Great app!

This app is just what I was after. I find it really useful to track everything, the articles are great and I’ve not yet taken advantage of the great features such as the face a day.

My only gripe would be that the timer is only in 5 minute increments. It sounds a bit pedantic maybe but knowing I gave her a 7 minute feed rather than a 5 minute would make me feel a lot better! Would be happy to pay for that feature!

Great app for one person

Great app for tracking growth, nappies, food and sleep. Love the fact it is all in one app and it is really easy to use.

Would be great to be able to see an overview of the whole day with food, sleep and nappies all plotted on the same graph. Would also be really useful if the app synced with other apps on another device so two parents who both have the same app can add data on their own phone and it syncs across both. At the moment we both have to input it into one phone which isn’t great when both look after baby at different times.

Great app

I’ve been using this app for nearly 2 weeks (since our little one was born). It’s been an incredibly useful way to monitor nappy changes and feeds in particular, especially when your brain is addled by sleep deprivation as a new parent! Would definitely recommend this app.

Brilliant if you remember to write in what your baby/toddler has had. Shows you how many mls a day and week etc very helpful weight and height chat, and weight chart for you 🤦‍♀️ I definitely recommend this app xxx

Good for twins!

I'd looked for an app that would help me when my twins were first born but nothing really worked well. Finally a year later I've found something that allows me to monitor sleep patterns in the same app! Wish I'd found it last year, it would have been so useful!

Very useful app

I used the pregnancy app throughout and then downloaded this app app and is a life saver, as I breastfeed it was a reminder of which side and how long it had been between feeds and how long he fed for as it tracked it all and saved it so you can look back! Also the other bits on there like white noise and lullabies came in handy and they calmed my little boy down! But overall a great app love it!!

Amazing!

It’s is so useful with no memory

You can always see when you last feed and helps if your baby suffers with reflux etc as you can advise how many feeds are normal etc

Also love the photo a day - it shows you how much your baby has grown! And you can keep that forever

A daily must-use app!

I use this app all the time and it’s by FAR the best post-pregnancy app out there. One thing I would recommend is adding a feature where another person could add their feeds etc to? For example my boyfriend does the morning shift so he has to try and remember every feed, sleep and nappy change so i can add to the app once I’ve woken up. So would be great if you could collaborate with two phones.

Great app, but he tracking visually could be improved

Great app, all the important things to track are here and easy to record (vs. other apps I tried). I particularly like the “add ons ” such as the “picture of the day” and all the reading material in there. One major improvement for me: rather than a list of timings when I fed my baby, I would rather see visually something clearer that summarises the “schedule” all mums try to achieve (ie a a summary of feeding times so I can compare days or see the long average to understand if I am being consistent on timings)

You can put sleep and schedule later by amending the time which a lot of apps do not provide and a lot more. I will stick to this one.

Great app - could do with minor improvements

The app is brilliant- has a lot of functionality and the design is pretty nice. Really like the way the sleep schedule is shown, and the face a day which can be converted into a video. The best baby tracking app I have seen so far.

The only downside are the feeding and sleeping timers. They are only counted in 5 minute increments and have to be inserted somewhat manually - as opposed to a start-stop timer which would be more accurate and convenient.

It would also be nice to see the feeding and nappy schedules presented the same way as the sleeping - and to be able to combine all 3 to have an overview of each day.

Great app- 100% recommend

Great app for forgetful mums/ dads, midnight feeds easily inputted as well as nappy chAnges. Then easily referred back to when required (at midwife appointments). Would be great for more accurate increments of time instead of 5mins, also timer would be good.

Great app

Really good app with lots of tracking functions. An improvement would be if you could have a stopwatch type function for feeds as well as the time log. This way it would be easier to log feeds while they happen rather than having to log them retrospectively. Otherwise an extremely useful app.

Good in principal but really buggy

I loved the app but you can’t sync between devices which means my husband and I can’t both use it which I feel defeats the whole object. Even when we’re both signed in on my account, the data doesn’t record properly. Sometimes it just disappears! It also doesn’t track the time since the last activity if you add any activity retrospectively. Have switched to Baby Tracker which is much better!

Cannot log in!

I love this app but after getting a new phone and reinstalling the app I can’t seem to log in anymore?? I’m really upset as I have so many memories uploaded of my baby here. I tried resetting the password several times and I keep getting the message:email or password incorrect. Please can this be fixed.
