When you first start playing there is an advert every couple of puzzles. After a few levels there is an advert after every single stage. The x in the corner is fake and takes you to the App Store. There are more ads than there is game.

Used to be good now it’s just a money grabber
This game used to be really good with frequent ads but it was easy to collect coins etc. recently though completing daily challenges you can never win anymore than 10 coins because the “randomly” generated prize picker always rewards you with 5 coins, out of probably over 100+ daily challenges I only ever win 5 coins where there always used to differ.
There are now also more and more ads, almost after every single level.
This game is now just a ploy to harvest as much money as possible and it’s ruined the experience. Probably best to play this one in airplane mode

The great is fantastic it can reduce with stress and it’s super calming and has good quality.

Great concept, but so easy!
I’ve said it on other reviews, and I’ll say it again here: BitMango make great-looking games, with fun concepts, but they are simply far too easy. There’s just no challenge at all, With each level taking an average of about 6 seconds to complete in my (unscientific) test! They’ll say that it’s to cater for all skill levels, but I’d say you’d need to be pretty dull to find this difficult.

See developers response to see just how carefully they read this. I can't access anything in the game because it crashes immediately on startup!! What part of that wasn't clear in the original review?
New update for minor bug fix does not fix major problem!
Original review: Version 20.1215, released 17th Dec 2020, immediately crashes on startup. Update installed yesterday on iPad mini 4 running iOS10.3. Even after a restart the crash is instantaneous.

new hint system is rubbish
i used to love playing this game but now whenever i press the boxes to get the reward hints, i only get 5 coins and the highest coins you could get is 15 when hints cost 25 coins!?!?! this game used to be good but now it’s annoying. also, the ‘developers replies’ aren’t even according to the comment they’re replying to :(

I played this game for quite a while. Yes I enjoyed praying the game, however, I am still waiting for my £100 it is apparently under review for the last couple of months. As some one else has pointed out I really don’t like the points reward. Much more fun when you was awarded hints. Now in coins and the maximum you can get in the daily challenge is 15 coins per win but it costs you 25 for a hint.
Being playing this for well over 18 months and had accumulated quite a pot of hints only for them to be changed to coins. Not happy

Gone from great into greedy
A year ago I would’ve given this game 5* without question. However the last few updates have changed my mind.
It used to be you would collect hints by doing daily tasks. And you get a choice of one of there prizes (1,2or 3 hints). In an update labelled as minor bug fix this was whittled down to one hint and no choice.
Then the hints were made into coins and the choice came back and you could win 10,15 or 20 coins for doing the tasks (1 hint cost 25 coins)
Then came a reduction in the amount of coins (now 5, 10 or 15).
The latest update now has a nag constantly saying “hey, free coin” to get you to watch ads.
It’s off putting and spoiling what was once a great game.

Not worthy of any stars
Not really worthy of a star, but had to give it one to get this review in.
Once upon a time this USED to be a great game, however since the updates a few months ago, this game is total trash!!
You used to build your points up to use when on a difficult puzzle, now they expect you to BUY credits.
As a lot of people have said, recently, it’s money grabbing and down right greedy.
And the developer responses are big standard replies. I don’t think they even bother reading the comments.

Used to love this game...
I’ve played for some time now and used to love this varying degrees of trickiness when solving the daily puzzles.
However, the latest update has changed the opportunity to win hints into now awarding coins. This is rubbish for a couple of reasons- most to do with getting money out of you.
1. Out of the 3 box options, it seems to be a 5 coin box far more times than any of the other higher values.
2. The hints cost 25 coins, so you’ll soon be having to pay for hints if you’ve not built up a decent buffer.
3. The buttons to turn off the sound and effects don’t work - and if you *can* get them to turn off, they don’t mute the incessant adverts.
4. The speed round doesn’t give you anything special where it always used to be worth 3 hints.
I’ll keep playing till my coins have gone and then I’m done. Which is a shame as this is a great little game for the most part.

Why did you remove the hints?
I really liked the daily game but first you changed the chance hints to 1 each level and a final 3 and now it’s all about coins and buying hints. Why? It was so refreshing not to have the “money” aspect. Now it’s just like all the other games.
I had given 3 stars but the new ‘bug fix’ has now lessened coins you can win for hints making it even less rewarding. My enjoyment of the game had already been waning and I now have little interest in playing as very samey to other games you play for a bit and then get bored.
Given all the other recent reviews seem to say pretty much the same thing I guess your developers don’t really care about customer satisfaction.

It’s just going downhill.
I downloaded this game around a year ago and loved the format. The daily challenges to win hints was very handy and they were an easy way to keep me playing the game because I kept coming back for the rewards.
Now, imagine my face when I do my challenge and find that, instead of winning hints, I win coins that contribute to hints. Also, none of the three prizes are enough to buy a hint anyway! So hints are harder to gain and quite frankly, makes me start to dislike the game altogether and play it less and less often.
Fast forward to the most recent update and (you really have outdone yourselves) the prizes are EVEN LOWER! I much prefer the old system of winning hints because it was quick and straightforward; whereas, the new system of winning coins is longwinded and downright frustrating.
I’m really disappointed because I couldn’t stop playing this game when I first downloaded it and now I just scroll past it, forgetting that it’s there.

love this game
i really love this game, its fun to play and a good distraction from my mental illness and something that makes me happy when i need a pick me up. im especially grateful that you can watch endless amounts of ads for hints and often get coins as gifts as i sometimes just cant do the puzzle and want to move on to the next one. games that force you to pay for hints are an immediate uninstall for me as theyre just no fun! i also love that the game has some levels that are very tough with lots of small pieces and some that are easier, other games get really hard and become unplayable and not fun anymore but ive gotten quite far in this game and im still really enjoying it! please never change the ads = hints system!

Great game, but hint system is very unbalanced
I have enjoyed playing this game for many months; the gameplay is smooth and polished with good sensitivity. However, I often find when a new update comes out that the amount of hints I can get is always reduced. From no longer having the possibility to get three hints per daily puzzle to the arguably much worse system of coins, it has annoyed me time and time again. Upon recently opening the app, my existing hints were converted to coins, and I lost over 1000 hints in this process. It is truly a shame, and while not an essential part of the gameplay, it has made the game much less entertaining for me. Not to mention, you can no longer get full hints per daily puzzle. It would be a major improvement to return to the original system of hints, with the possibility to get 3 hints per daily puzzle.

Before: 2* Ads after every level completed. That’s fine, there’s a price to pay for a free game. But once the ad timer elapses and you click to go back to the game, I get a black screen and it freezes.

Great game but bugs need fixing
Such a enjoyable game to play and I don’t mind the adds popping up every few levels but sometimes when pressing the x on the add the screen goes blank and I have to shut down and restart so once I’ve done this a few times I just turn it off as it’s annoying. Also sometimes even when an add doesn’t pop up it says Block! Hexa with a black screen and I have to restart once again. Would play a lot more if it wasn’t for these problems, hopefully will sort out soon.

Addictive
I have played this game now for several years, when I’ve got a spare few minutes - so simple but great entertainment but can be quite addictive particularly the daily puzzle! However, since the last update (2ish weeks ago) I’ve experienced problems playing on the iPad where I have to exit and close the app between every level of the daily puzzle...really annoying!!! Sort it out please Bitmango!

Great to pass the time
Great game but I have run into a problem. On 7 Mania when I click on “Free Hint” - the screen goes dark, block Hexa appears and it just freezes. When I try to go onto the other daily challenges, the same happens. I have to restart the game every time, I have completed a recent upgrade but the issue still persists.

I am enjoying this game, however there is an add after every level and once you have watched it and pressed the 'x' in the top corner, the screen goes black and so I have to shut down the app and re-open it after every. Single. Level.
Please fix this bug as I would like to continue paying the game, but having to close it and reopen it after every level I'd going to get very annoying very quickly.

A fun game, perhaps not as challenging as it could be but I’m sure it will get more difficult as I progress through the levels.
I do understand the need for advertising revenue but there are far too many adverts! One for each quick puzzle, come on! Make it every 3 puzzles maybe at most but every one means you’ll probably get deleted in a week!

Block Hexa is super fun and if you ever want some relaxation time, block hexa is the game! 💗There are lots of levels so this game lasts a long time. It's not too hard so it's definitely suitable for all ages! So recently, I downloaded this app while this game is fun other people complain but I don’t know why. This game is an amazing offline game that you can play anywhere! I think that you should down load it because they have put a lot of work into this game so what if it’s a tiny bit hard that’s what it’s meant to be. Slow difficulty increase, too many ads
Starts off a nice little game, but whether it was the ‘day2’ notification or a certain percentage of the ‘novice’ section, the ad rate rocketed up to one after every level. Guys, I know you want to get people buying other company games, but I am trying to play *this* one, and the ad rate chops up my focus.
Apart from that, and there’s probably a message coming to tell me I can pay so much for ad-free gaming, its strangely unsatisfying. There’s no measurement in performance, so I can’t objectively tell how I am doing against a timer, or as opposed to other players (a feature I love in ‘I love Hue’, for instance), or even really in game -I’m 70% through ‘Novice’ and there’s been no noticeable difficulty increase since level 10. Lastly, the graphics are very basic, with the lines of the building blocks not being particularly crisp (ipad version).
It’s as if the designers have taken everything potentially addictive and dampened it down. I came out of the game to review it, and I dont know if I can be bothered to reopen it with so many other free puzzle games out there to choose from that do this sort of game, but better.

LOVE IT!!!
I love this game because it’s really fun and challenging! I find it so fun and it gets my Brain working. It deserves five stars which is really rare for me to give a game. Far too many ads
The game itself is very enjoyable. Nice, challenging levels and pretty addictive, but the constant ads are way too much. I manage about two levels before there’s another ad and what’s worse is, they’re all the same. It’s very tedious to sit through so I’ve had a fun 10-15 mins or so on the game, but I will be uninstalling.
Using ads in this fashion isn’t going to encourage anyone to purchase/download whatever is being advertised. It does the exact opposite.

Yes, this is a great game, but the adverts are really spoiling the flow of the game. At early levels it is not too bad, you can override the ad. But the more you progress the adverts will not be blocked so easily. As well as that, they appear after every go. Now the frustration of waiting until the ad you have had to watch countless times, completely finishes, ruins the fun of the game and I can't be bothered with it anymore. Big shame!

I absolutely love this game because the levels aren’t too hard to complete and there not too easy either. Some of the time there is a lot of battery draining ads but no too many, you could be in the middle of a game and then there would be one, but it’s not too bad. The good thing about this game is that it’s not too addictive to me and you can just play it in your spare time and get a lot of levels done, at the same time. All in all I really like this game and I recommend it to anyone who likes to solve puzzles like me.

Amazing 💜
I really love this game and I have done for a year or so it’s really addictive and fun me and my family are always having competitions and it’s kind of relaxing to get the pieces in the correct places and there aren’t many ads great game and I would recommend it to anyone who has a competitive family and also if you play without family (solo) I still recommend it great game keep it up. It’s really fun and if you just want to Relax then this is the best game for that. The game is also good because there is lots of levels and can keep you going for a bit and if u finished of that hole level then you can just go on the next one but I really like the game .The game is also a great like if you have a long car/travelling then it would be good for that because if you are stressed out then it would to just have a game of it , or if you are stressing out with your school work then you could take a break with it and then you could play that game. I also like that you get hints like if you don’t know what where one of the bits go and then you will get a hint and then you can just carry on. BUT I really like the game . From Kayley Jane

Block! Hexa is the best
This game is the best in the world even though I'm still 9 this game deserves a million stars!!!therefore I recommend it to anyone I first heard of the game when I stole my big sisters phone and started playing on block hexa she is 17 now and still plays on this fantastic game block hexa is the best

This app isn’t really fun but it calms you down and is quite hard to stop playing once you start. The thing about fitting together blocks to fill in the empty spaces is quite addictive. You always want to complete the next level, and then the next level, and then the next level. I would recommend this app but just don’t play it before you go to bed. There are quite a lot of ads but you can just get rid of them in about 5 seconds, and they won’t really bother
you.

I find it addictive and fun!!
When I first downloaded it I thought it was going to be really rubbish. I then took time playing it and the more I did the more fun I had! if you’re reading this then I would highly recommend this game for anyone who wants a big challenge! 👊😉

Best game ever!
This game is unlike many others, you do a weird jigsaw puzzle. Good weird, though. Decent amount of ads too, very addictive, which is good, because I’m guessing it’s good brain exercise. Really good if you got like, 15 minutes on iPad. No bad things, so stop reading this and download it!

So one more thing that’s about your game the levels are a bit easy so that is why I rate you a 4.so maybe it should have been a bit harder on some levels but only some because some are already a bit hard . So bye 👋.

Great game
I have owned this app for a few weeks now and I’ve always loved it.
It is always really easy to do, and the hints don’t cost too much.
When I first downloaded this app I thought it was going to be a bit boring but when I started getting the hang of things it turned out to be a good app to get.

Amazing time on the game
It is so fun and if you are struggling you can watch a video so you get some hints it is good to learn how to match things up together . It can be hard sometimes but you can just find some advice . Make sure to get this game and you don’t need WiFi for it !!!

Brilliant addictive fun!
I LOVE this game! It’s fun, it’s colourful, it’s lovely to look at, really well thought out and it has things other hexa puzzles don’t seem to have. It’s not so simple that there’s no challenge and it definitely keeps you working at it. There are Quests to complete, daily puzzles so you can earn more hints... it’s fun, fun, fun! Go get it! :-))

Addictive!
A really brilliant way to exercise the old grey matter! But you get really into it and an advert pops up which happens a lot! For a couple of quid you can banish the adverts which I thought was well worth it. The game is much nicer now and I can progress without reason to protest! I am a poet and didn’t know it! Bye

Hexa Blocks
This app is really good and very addictive even though it is so simple. I always want to do more of it which shows that it is a successful game. My only problem is that (I am mainly talking to the creators of the game) in the advert on the third example level that you can do whenever you try to drag the blocks into the right space it just takes you to the App Store. This isn’t exactly a problem for me but if you want more people playing your game then you might want to fix this problem.

A bit boring after a while
This was a really good game when I got it and it still is. But after a while can get a bit boring and there are to many ads. Even though everyone will probably say it there are so many but I really still like the game even if I do not go on it all the time.🙃🙂

Hexa blocks
Only one problem with this game. It's addictive! Never thought that such a simple little game would keep me up trying to do the next 10 levels before I go to bed! Crazy.
Biggest problem is that the game freezes & there seems to be no way out except to uninstall & reinstall & of course lose all that you’ve done & all the hints that you’ve accrued. Just had to do this for the 2nd time in 3 hrs. Enough to make you delete altogether. Disappointing!

Fun game buried by ads
I don't mind the occasional advert in a free game, but this app takes the cake. As soon as you finish the tutorial and press play; two ads. Finish a couple of levels ; another ad. By the time I got to level 23, which probably took as many minutes, it had tried to make me watch 8 ads. That's ridiculous.
I know the point of lots of ads is to encourage purchase, but this has simply encouraged me to uninstall.

Definitely get this. It's so good and I'm constantly on it. I would recommend this to a 5-13 year old. My daughter really likes it and is always when we have the time on this app. If you don't mind adverts get it but the only down fall is the adverts but there not to much of a problem

Great game
This game is brilliant! It's challenging whilst fun at the same time! I do agree with some previous reviews about how the continuous adds can interrupt your game, especially when you're on a roll, but the easy solution to that is play this game in airplane mode! It's cheaper than paying £2 to turn off the ads!
