My Moon Phase is the best app for tracking the lunar calendar. It has a sleek dark design which makes it easy to view information such as the current moon cycle, moonrise & moonset times as well as extras such as when the next full moon will be. If you're interested in moon photography, you can also find out when the golden hours and blue hours are so you can take the most beautiful photos.

Best App for Tracking Moon Phases
I Love This App! Particularly the Alert function as i’m a very busy person.
I don’t have the time or mental space to consciously track the phases of the moon or best times to view the full moons/super moons/blue moons.
This app does ALL of that and more and alerts me, when something that i’ve flagged as of interest is coming up.

I’m a werewolf (a lycanthrope) and having this app really helps me with the moon phases. Every night I can look at this app and it helps get me prepared for whatever moon is coming. I can even see what moon is on my birthday as well as what the moon is for future years. This app I great and it tells you quite a lot for being free. Definitely recommend. Only problem is I keep losing my phone on transmogrification. Oops got to go, it’s starting again.

ive used this app for two years now to keep me updated on the phases and it’s never failed to do so. lots of extra info too that is really useful. i refer to it everyday, definitely the best one out there :)

Good app but……..
The most important phase of the moon cycle is when it’s full from a viewers point that is, aka Joe Bloggs. I absolutely love going to watch a full moon rise and bang on about it every month and often drag someone with me to see it. My only issue with this app so far is [and this is me speaking from events that have happened] if let’s say it’s a Monday and you look at the week ahead [and you know there’s a full moon coming] you flick on Thursday and it’s say 98% full and Friday 100% so naturally you think and aim to go see it Friday only to look at it again later in the week to see Thursday has changed to 100% and tonight is the full moon (my brightest, biggest, closest to earth) and you’ve missed it.
I have notifications turned on although this month didn’t get a 3 day cycle warning and just want to see the moon rise as often as I can and twice now have been duped by the app.

AMAZING!
I am a witch who uses the power of the moon. This app is extremely useful for that, also I enjoy photography so it is a nice touch that the app includes good times for photography. I have made it part of my practise every day to check this app to see what the moon will be like. I have been practising witchcraft for 4 years and this app have changed my practise, for the better! I would definitely recommend for baby witches (beginner witches)

This is a wonderful app it’s free it’s accurate. Before I got this app the only way I could tell the phases of the moon was to look at the sky or when a friend on Facebook would send me new moon Blessings or full moon Blessings. I totally recommend this app whether you are interested in the phases of the moon or if you are a Wiccan who wants to know what phase are moon is in for a certain ritual. 😺

My point of view on this app
Compared to other moon phase apps this one is my favourite because a lot of them don’t seem to show the golden hour and blue hour. It also is really accurate and can notify you when there is a full moon or a first quarter ect. It has the best quality graphics as well.

Howling at the Moon
I am really influenced by the moon in terms of mood swings so this app really helps me understand where I am in the moon cycle. We also have a narrow boat which we live on about half of the year and the moon is important to us on the canal. Brilliant app.

Moon Phases - an excellent app
I have found Moon Phases very useful, there is a considerable amount of very practical information as well as timings for Golden Hour and Blue Hour for photography purposes.
So pleased to have found the app, it runs fine on my iPad & phone with no problems at all. Very happy little bunny.

There’s no specific detailed time when The Moon will be at its highest, nearest, best time to photograph! Seems strange showing blue hour and golden hour and not be more specific about the best time and location for the moon itself, after all, this is an app for moon information...
