Description

This is the official App for the annual Wales Airshow (Swansea Bay) brought to you by the City and County of Swansea. The App is the only place where you will be able to see a dynamic timetable of displays (specific display times will be available via the App from in the days before the event once confirmed). The App also consists of a display team bio section and useful links to help plan a visit to Swansea Bay. On the event days users will receive push notifications giving them advance notice of when the next display is arriving and directing them to info within the app about the display team. This APP is bilingual (Welsh and English).

Well happy to pay £1.79 for a programme, which is all any user cares about, but… each event such as ‘Royal Navy Black Cats’ links to a mostly blank page with the same title again, with a ‘more’ button, which then takes you to a deeper, even blanker page that simply gives you the same title again. So NO information as to what a given event is, unless you go all the way back to the front to read ‘bios’ and go find it.
Would be happier donating a tenner and being given a PDF, which is effectively what the app is, albeit poorly conceived by comparison. A committee of people said ‘well it has to have this’ / ‘it has to list our sponsors’ / ‘it has to have…’ and on and on, so the developers clearly didn’t have time or inclination to include the most fundamental, elementary functionality.
To the actual developers: I feel for you, deeply. For whoever was in charge; never, ever take charge of a software project again. It’s not for you.

I don't normally rate apps but this is well warranted. The app gave to the second accuracy of what was happening and the biography was excellent. Best couple of pounds I've spent in the App Store

As someone who visits to many air shows I have to say this a very nice app. Like a programme on ur phone. I certainly don't mind paying for it, esp if it makes sure we keep this event FREE
