Blocked my account
It's just ridiculous. I've used their services before, and everything was fine, but recently, I transferred a small amount through their app, and they blocked the transaction, requesting additional documents about the source of income (even though the amount was small, I provided what I could). They simply deactivated my account and said the money would be returned to my account within 5 days. And now I have to wait for reasons unclear to me. Thanks for tarnishing your reputation; I'll never recommend you again. And if anyone thinks I was sending illegal money, no - it's just a transfer from a family member.

TransferGo is a Scam
I made a transfer to my recipient in Nigeria on the 16th December 2023, up till this moment she have not received the money but the app was telling me that the money has been sent. I called the customer service it was down at the moment, I emailed TransferGo several times no one responded to my mails. If there is a way I will rate this app zero star I would have done it. @trasfergo pay me back my money . You can’t go scout free this time around.

Dozen’t exist badly then TransferGo transfer portal
This is the worst payment system that I know. It wasn't that bad until the horror started more than three weeks ago. I made a payment and the TransferGo requested documents from me for verification. It would seem that it's okay. I sent them a bank statement and a salary statement. But after that, the nightmare began. They just stole my money. They say they are checking my documents and still do not confirm the payment. They didn't send them, and they didn't return them to me. I write to them every day and hear only that you have to wait and wait. They've been holding my money for almost a whole month! They don't give them back to me! At the same time, TransferGo has no right to do this! They are scammers! Never use a TransferGo! They will simply steal your money and will hang noodles on their ears! I've been trying to get the money back to my bank account for three weeks and it's all for nothing! Where is my money? Why aren't they returning them to me? Who has the answer??? I'm still waiting for my money!

Horrible Customer Service
I paid into TransferGo the equivalent to 130000 Naira which they did not credit to my account and till today their horrible customer service team has refused to return my funds asking me to travel to my home country to get my money back.

They asked me to update my identification because that is how the money was going to arrive LIE! you are SCAMMERS! My first experience using transfergo and I thought it was a scam at first. I sent £10 to my mum back home to test if the service works and she received the money in less than 2 hours! I’m very impressed and happy to have finally found a good service to send money to my family back in Nigeria. Even if you have to pay a fee it’s a very small one, although I didn’t have to pay anything (as per my first time using it). No issues I’ve noticed yet but I will update once that changes.

The advert says you can transfer money to Nigeria but can’t transfer naira to gbp which doesn’t make any sense and the rates could be worse. Found better rates on several apps like lemonade and ohrent. If you want to improve your app. Focus on improving your customer journey through the app and make it it as easy as you possibly can.

It’s been five days and the transfer did not reach the destination. the receiver bank says there is no transfer happened to the receiver account. It’s frustrating enough and now I don’t know where is my money such a scammers. Customer Service don’t have the answers.

Recently disappointed
Been using transfer go for about 3 years now. They used to do both next day delivery and c.2-3 days delivery.
Since they moved to only one delivery method (which is what I use anyway), they’ve always been delayed. They say the SLA is next working day, and recently it’s not been arriving within their promised dates. It has happened to me 3x now, and I would suggest finding an alternative.

Slow transfer and poor customer service
When dealing with money you would expect a company to respond swiftly no matter the time of day. This company does not. It has a small window in which you can contact them and it is slow and not very helpful in the slightest.
The speed of the transfer to vastly longer than expected and significantly longer than they promised. Furthermore, they expected me to verify my identity through sending them sensitive documents despite the fact that they claim they don’t need verification until your second transfer.
It’s a shoddy app, a shoddy company and completely unreliable. Never ever using their service again.
