There should be career mode

eFootball is a fun game but I think it should have a career mode. Even though it has my league I feel like there should be more competitions like champions league and World Cup. I also believe there should be career modes with teams with all of their players like football manager. You should also have an option to sim or play matches. I hope these changes will be provided.

Problem with network connection

To be sincere this game is the best but you see that network

connection problem whereby you are playing the division league then all of a sudden you start having network issue but you’re the one winning the match 40 then because of your network issue you will be disconnected saying you lost the game, you guys need to changed that this is not good. The game is ok but could improve a lot with graphics and more proper reactions and having female footballers players in this game plus the auto is ridiculous as if I leave it on auto it runs straight to other players on the opposition which is ridiculous, it’s like my team just runs to the players on the other team with the ball also the game is completely rigged, the emotions of players aren’t realistic at all, the referee blows a whistle at the wrong time and there’s many times that the other team whether it’s bots or not and they should get fouls but they don’t and if it’s me, sometimes I don’t pass to a player on offside but the referee blows the whistle for offside which is like if this was real life and the referee just blowing the whistle at the wrong times in matches, if this doesn’t happen in real life then why does this happen in the game? Even if someone runs to me or I accidentally run into someone, the referee fouls me.

Stupid SA on top of scripting and input lag make this game unplayable. Why on earth should SA not only buff up my opponent's players, but also dumb down my players because I have SA turned off? Let the players play the game, not AI doing it for them making corrections. Atleast remove it from divisions, else what the point of playing this game anymore?

I have a question? When your players retrieve the ball from opponents then in transition attacking players never manoeuvre into attacking positions instead always behind or at best alongside? Good but purposely fails

It’s a good game from Div 4 - 3 online. Once you get to div 2 and above and it’s mainly legends, then the game completely fails. Legends on this game HEAVILY overcompensate for bad players. FIFA has similar but it controls better when it’s a bad user. Passes and through passes don’t make sense. There is a great amount of space but the player chooses to pass it as close to the opponent defender as possible? You don’t have to be KDB to EASILY hit those passes in real life. It’s just bad defending from the opponents and the game doesn’t punish that enough. Passing when players are tired becomes rubbish, not realistic in real life once again. AI defending is also VERY unrealistic. If defenders are soo good then they should also be good against counter attacks . But it seems they’re only good against possession football. If football was how this game thinks, Pep Guardiola would be a flop manager.

As a long Fc mobile player, I moved to this game to give it a try since fc are making boring updates, there’s a lot of cool features in this game but why the packs expensive like that?

Anyways on gameplay, I like the fat you can change the formation at half time, also like the highlights you can watch in game, halftime and full time, also like the celebration choices

but a problem is, players, sometimes in defence the defenders just stand there or when the opponent hits the post, and the ball is coming to my defenders they stand like they want the opposition to score, also sometimes when an opponent is trying tackle I don’t understand why my players just stand and try to push the opponent with his shoulders, the players also take kinda long to shoot or pass(Ik they have to get the power and accuracy but still)

But most annoying is that when a player loses possession, instead of trying to win passion they just stand💀🙏(or stumble) ngl keeper is dumb and HORRIBLE , another thing is when the opposion sends a cross to the box… why, why don’t a single defender try to clear the ball?why😭🙏

Efootball league ratings are a joke!

Don’t get me wrong, I still love this game. The graphics and realism is really good. But as the title says, efootball league ratings are a joke! Efootball league is when you play against other people to get into higher divisions. I thought it would be amazing, but after making it to div1 and realising that it was a scam I stopped enjoying it as much. If you win against some pro who’s higher rank than you, you get like 10 points, but if you lose to the same guy, you lose 30 points! All the hard work put into roughly 3 wins gets erased because you lost 1 GAME! It’s so annoying and frustrating so could you please fix this! Another thing is that when you pass the ball to a player, sometimes they just let it roll out for a throw in or they jog away and let the defender go for it. If you could please fix both of these, it would make the game so much better for me and many other players!

Decent gameplay but gets stale.

So overall the game feels smooth. The controls feel responsive BUT a common occurrence is you’ll swipe in a certain direction and they’ll pass to the wrong player you weren’t aiming at (might be because you’re rushing commands while in a game so you’re not doing the exact angle required I can’t say for sure).

During the league game mode, if you have a key match you might as well forget it trying to win. Yes the difficulty gets set auto-high BUT you notice the other teams AI move at insane speed. You’ll see players move around your players like the flash, your team just become so useless on tackling it becomes so boring. I’ve had boosters on, experience of the team high in the 90s and they’re no match. If the game wants you to lose, unfortunately you will lose. I’m no pro by any means but it gets tiring working on a team just to lose to some “key match” team in 15th on the table when youre 1st.

I deleted the game because after a week of playing the game just becomes a dry repetitive cycle. Log in, do the daily task (shooting a pen to move forward places on a reward table). You’ll find yourself playing 1 or 2 games max a day. So it’s not at all worth having this game take up 3gb of space on your device. It had its fun (for a week). Now it’s gone for me.

Goal net fixing

I have played efootball/ PES for a couple of years now and it is, by far, my favourite game on mobile. However, there is one thing I would recommend that would make your game 1,000,000 times better. That would be to either make the option to tighten the goal net or just fix it in general so it doesn’t stretch so far and look unrealistic. Also, when you score, especially a power/ hard shot, to make the net sound more realistic and nicer (Make it more satisfying to score a banger!) Other than that your game is amazing! Alright, but used to be better

Back in 2021, this game was called pes and was legit the best game ever. But last year they rebranded and had an update and it just ruined the whole game, so I stopped playing.

The graphics are pretty bad and there are so many bugs, the prices of players are completely off, and the gameplay is boring. They really need to fix the free kick and penalties technique because it is completely useless and doesn’t work. Although, the layout and design of creating your own club and signing your players is very fun, it isn’t very creative and I hate how whatever position you put your players in their overall goes down by at least twelve, it’s really annoying. Also, if you want to play an online match, it takes ages to load, so you may as well play against the ai, which is terrible.

Although the constant updates keep the game fresh and keeps up with real life club transfers or player form.

Overall, this game has got a lot worse, but it’s getting better every update, and is still fun to play.

Don’t bother

This game is disgraceful it penalises u for losing games and always pairs u with players that are better than u, and when u end up getting into games with players with 2200 strength and I for example have a strength of 2773 it nerfs your players so the other player has a chance of winning, the servers are still bad it’s still completely scripted and u have somehow made the most unbalanced unfair ranked system I’ve seen in a game it don’t matter how good your team is u will still lose.

Asking for 19 points to be promoted to division 2 is asking for to much for a player if it wasn’t scripted then it would be fine but u lose and draw games more than u win, overall it feels good to play the graphics are amazing the controls overall are decent, but u would have more players if u fixed how scripted and unfair this game is

Out on the pitch it’s all you’d expect from PES/e-Football … except it’s wholly unrealistic. Because so much of the app game is all about building a fantasy squad, rather than competing in competitions. The competitions are short and contrived, and are only really there to give you incentive for reward (in-game GP, or Coins, or extra players). You keep getting rewards that are new players for your squad, so your own squad is not at all realistic (e.g. ‘Congrats, you have Müller to add to your Southampton team’).

There is no mode where you get to play a league against a set number of specific other teams. So much of this game is based around PvP interaction, which means almost every game I play, be it against Real Madrid, Man U, Milan or Brentford, I’m playing against Haaland, De Bruyne, Salah, etc, because other users build up the strongest squad.

So I’ve been disappointed with the general structure and format, which is about playing the e-Football points system, rather than emulating leagues, cups, etc.

Good news is that you access a lot without the need for in-game purchases, and if you can master the controls you can, on a game-by-game basis, enjoy one of the best match engines in football apps.

Just don’t hope to win the league.

Refs on console are awful and some of the refs just pull out the red card way to quick and ruin a game or a good run of games instantly for seemingly nothing

The mobile game is amazing and the engine very well built though It’s the console game that buggy and annoyingly frustrating

Because it’s a game made by mostly Asian programmers it’s been made for phones and adapted for consoles meaning although the game looks a bit better on console it ultimately is broken at its core

No matter how many updates they make for console it’s broken

I still prefer it to fifa because it’s far less arcade like and the game feels slower like a real game of football instead the fifas of the last 10 years feel like glorified pong or 11 a side tennis

Although some games these days are fast paced and full of goals most games even in the premier league are not played at full tilt for the whole game by both sides In real pro games the pace is constantly changing and unpredictable but it’s not like the fifa console games and mostly even high energy games have a maximum of 6-7 goals and it’s not every weekend you even see that

Pes feels much better balanced against the realities of pro football and fifa feels like a game for kids who want to rinse they’re parents credit cards dry on FUT

Pes is also free and you can easily get the very best player cards available without spending a penny but by actually just playing the game

New updated has killed it

The new update has killed this game. Controlling the players , passing ball and shooting have become so difficult to perform while playing. The previous version was so much fun . Now you can’t even play with a friend . I mean how on earth they got the whole update so wrong. I don’t know is just me or others find this new update a total disaster . There are improvements as now you can actually play with a friend. But there is a lot to be improved. It makes no sense how others have same players as I do , but the same players which I have got , the opponent have a lot more ratings as mine , I don’t get it ! How ? I had good players and somehow their contract has been expired . You can’t even purchase a contract renewer! It means my team strength has gone lower because I can’t renew contract to my players . Sorry Konami but you have made a big mess . You need still a lot of work to improve .

A good game but why so many updates nowadays??

It’s a really good game to start off with coming from my experience as I’ve been playing ever since PES 2021 was released by Konami and I’ve haven’t faced any sort of problem apart from the buying duplicated players issue which as a result wasted a lot of coins at that time. But now here we are with the new update to eFootball 2022 and the developers have somewhat fixed that issue but what I’m very concerned about is that the number of updates to new versions of the game currently is starting to annoy me as it’s no where near possible to update the game to the new version with a terrible WiFi connection that I have. So it may take 2-3 days for the game to be updated as long as a new version comes out. So Konami please just reduce the number of updates of the game but I do understand that the developers want to fix some issues that I’m aware about but please do them like once a month for a new version of the game to come out please.

Thumbs up for the new update

I like what Konami has done by adding new controls , it adds a more realistic feel as if it was a real match played, and since they added new things such as the stunning pass shooting etc it makes all gameplay unique and it is harder to follow an algorithm to beat the game back in pes 21.

Downside to it is that the joystick is abit stiff and there is a delay to when I use my thumb to move the joystick to when the player actually moves, it’s annoying because I sometimes lose games because of the lag maybe it’s just my phone or if it’s the game, Konami please incarease the sensitivity of the joystick. Thanks

PES 2021

This game is bad, the graphics are terrible the buttons often don’t work, incredibly bad physics, and In some cases it will scam you. It will hook you to the game and pair you in unfair matches to make you feel like the only way to win is by paying. In the regular draw there is next to no chance to get a golden ball let alone a black ball. Konami ID is almost impossible to understand and if by accident you delete the game but try it again good luck trying to get your account back. The achievements has next to no details on how to complete them. Often the joystick decides it doesn’t want to work so you are just stuck immobilized. When the ball get taken off of you it takes 2-3 seconds for it to realize that so you can’t tackle or put pressure on to a player. It’s unclear how to create a Konami ID, it took me about 30 minutes to create one. I’m honestly surprised people play this game being as it’s so bad In it’s current state. Please don’t get this game it will cause you so much frustration please don’t even try it.

Deleting this game was one of the best decisions of my life😌

First of all let me start off with the controls they are absolutely horrendous for example I could be in a match, my opponent has a corner and crosses the ball into the box instead of trying to put pressure on the opposing player the control gives me the prompt to play a through ball when my opponent has the ball, the controls are delayed in various different ways also my opponent could be on a 1 on 1 with my goalkeeper just after the halfway line and he doesn’t rush until my opponent is near the box and will easily score and don’t even get me started on campaign matches, I could have a team strength of 4700 and my opponent has one of 3800 and it is one of the worst things ever my opponents players glide past my defenders faster than anything and had they come close to my defenders my defenders would just stand there as if they are in their own world, however if the situation was vice versa my opposing defender would out run my 100 rated mbappe and if I were to get past their defence and do a powerful shot from long range the keeper would catch the ball as If I tried to do a chip shot or something

Honestly konami please fix this or else there will be a lot of people like me

Broken game!

Honestly, Konami need to fix this game. Everything about this game is broken. And yes I’m writing out of anger but I know what I’m talking about. I’m going against weak opponents and not even my 99 messi can score against a 80 rated random goalkeeper.

But somehow a 74 rated striker can score passed my 95 rated goalkeeper. This game is set for you to lose. It doesn’t make any sense. Fouls are being given to the opponent for a fair tackle but when they tackle my player in the same way, where is my foul? The players are the stumbling and struggling to get back in the game while the opponent’s player has recovered within milliseconds and is on the counter attack. The controls are broken too. The players don’t pass where you direct them to and there is no way to cancel it. It ends up at the opponent’s players feet and they go ahead and score. Campaign matches are ridiculously hard, even when your team strength is more than 4600 and the opponent’s team is less than 3700. They play like their strength is 5000. And let me not start with the teams that have more than 4800 strength. It’s just unbeatable, especially with these broken controls. Fix this game Konami!

Pros and Cons

The pros of the game: it’s really fun to play the graphics are good and it feels genuine, stuff like how players perform are determined by multiple factors and it’s quite fun collecting different players. The cons of the game: lag cheaters online I’m tired of being affected by some annoying lag and losing the ball whenever I’m in a good or dangerous position because of the lag which never seems to affect my opponents and only me despite the fact that my wifi is extremely fast, The null cheaters who tend to null a result if they’re losing, The buttons sometimes on classic can randomly stop which is annoying and those legend collectors who have somehow collected every legend in the game while I’m only able to get one but overall fix these issues and it’s a 5 star game

I’ve played this game since 2018 but since pes 2020 the game has become a scripted when ever I play online and I get a 900 or 800 rated opponent the game favours them I get 10 shots and n target was only 1 goes in my opponent gets 1 he scored I get a clear goal scoring opportunity to score the opponent takes my player out and his player gets a yellow he has a clear goal scoring opportunity I take his player out I get a red and also Konami needs to ban Lag cheaters because they are ruining the game I was at 1296 rating and a lag I came up against lag cheaters and I lose over 40 points also why does it take so long for the cursor to switch to a player close to the ball so my opponent gets the ball first another thing also when myPlayer wins a header against the lower rated opponent the ball seems to go past my player but when the lower rated opponent Wins a Header at the ball go straight to their player Konami fix this game because it’s giving people stress depression etc please we have had enough

A honest review.

Pros:

To start off, the graphics is amazing. I still can’t believe I am playing such a game on mobile phone. The physics too is absolutely on point with players performance being affected by multiple factors.

Cons:

The worst of all is the controls. They are simply awful; I have used both classic and advanced control methods and both are terrific. The advanced methods require delay induced methods for some actions which makes it impossible to use, so unless you are playing agains beginner/easy mode by the time you complete the action to make lofted pass you have already lost the ball. The classic is not that good either, there are lags and delays in the commands. The movement stick keeps losing its response to touch making plays very frustrating. I have both lost and won many games against friends due to this major issue.

Over all, I feel sad for this game. I mean the other department responsible for physics, content and graphics have done such a good job but then the individual responsible for coordination of controls have ruined it all. I want to experience this game with its all beautiful graphics, enjoy the content but I have decided to stop playing because of the controls. The frustration and annoyance is just impossible to keep up with. I hope PES fixes this issue.

Perfection + 2 issues...

Pes 21 is one the best game ever been made. They get lots of money in couple of days. For the people who’s says that they are going to be playing fifa, no. These days on fifa they play really fun until 2019, they made it crap. Pes 21 is starting off really well and I’m getting Silver, Gold and black ball!! For the people who says that you get silver or underrated player, you are not using to Achievement money! You not claiming them and that why you get Underrated players! Fifa has market whilst Pes has ‘scouts’ which gives you player granted for free. The issue is that it’s a little laggy (I find out the problem). Another issue is that I have to keep signing my best player to stay at the club.

Anything but those issues, I really love the game! THX PES 21!!!

Awesome

This game is awesome.....At making you angry! this is just another piece of scripted rubbish! Don’t bother with this or you will be VERY disappointed! No anger,no reason to hate the brand or company it’s simply that I got very angry playing this so I decided to test it instead of being angry at a pixel on a phone.....this game only gives the illusion that you are playing it when the truth is the computer play’s itself and nothing you do makes any impact, my anger was that I played the event mode(score 3 goals), I scored 2 goals in the first half so my computer opponent passed the ball from keeper to 2 central defenders until the game ended with no chance of my team collecting the ball IN ANY WAY....as the test I played the again,to my surprise the game NOT only did the same thing after I scored the first 2 goals but it actually mirrored my previous game exactly! My first goal was hard to get and they scored directly after it,my second goal was impossible to get until they scored! Then I scored within 10 seconds of that, and for the second half they played keep ball until final whistle....guess what! I played it again and it happened again!

It’s a phone game so what did I expect?

Great free game

For free this a lot of fun and easy to get a good squad, without the absolute need to spend real money buying agents and scouts. Instead you earn rewards for gaining XP in certain tournaments and building up that way.

In matches the gameplay is good especially for mobile touch controls. The main issue is there is a fine line between some of the commands, e.g.: depending on how far the ball is for your player or an opponent, the same button could either mean a shot or a slide tackle. This causes problems when in the opponent’s area and trying to shoot close range, and you end up sliding into the back of a defender or goalkeeper instead!

A similar situation happens when you press to pressure the ball (running towards it) and then when you reach it plays a through ball instead, wasting a chance. So it can be confusing what command will do what in certain situations.

All round good game

Every other game should look at this because it has everything good graphics low storage plenty of things to do and also excellent graphics.

I do have some suggestions:

1. Managers are in packs like players

2. You can choose your own formation without having to have the specific manager for that formation

3. Can you make more auctions happen at the same time because there are only 15 which isn’t really enough.

4. In auctions can you add a buy now.

5. Can you add more formations including some that are quite old like 4-2-4 or the

W-M. Could you add also pass managers like sir Alex Ferguson, Herbert Chapman ( managed Leeds City and won the first devision then managed Huddersfield Town and did the first treble and was most famous at Arsenal also founded the W-M the first recognised formation), Alf Ramsey who is the only manager to win the World Cup for England.

6. Could you add a constant pack for pass players and create some mire that would be excellent and think of some players that people wouldn’t really know like Gordon Strachan or Jack and Bobby Charlton.

6. Maintenance is constant I don’t mind 00:00 to 06:00 on Thursdays but it’s all the time I just want to play since I like this game so stop fretting your doing great and stick with the times also it’s saying maintenance now but nothing on your website so I’m now going to 4 stars

Excellent but needs improvement

This is probably the best football game on the app store by a country mile. The graphics are pretty decent and although it is slightly pay to win in most cases, its a very enjoyable game and its easy to build a decent squad. Although the gaming mechanics during matches is a little difficult to get used to, its pretty easy to win games with a semi decent squad eventually. My only real complaint is when you sim matches, it seems that no matter how good your team is, its still difficult for your team to win. My squad is full of players 90+ rated with 99 team spirit but when i sim a match during events against weaker teams full of 70-78 rated players, i rarely get a win. Hopefully they do something about this because it’s impossible to get anywhere in events that you have to sim matches in. Still a great game overall

honestly embarrassing

when i first got the game it looked pretty good. After playing a couple of matches i realised that the players are very sluggish and would be unresponsive and often would end up standing still for about 15-20 seconds. Passes were extremely inconsistent and would pass to a player on the other side of the pitch which ruins your attack completely. The packs are absolutely awful and not worth buying. It also becomes impossible to get my club points once you have done quite a lot of the challenges. Event mode rewards definitely need a lot of improvement because you could have a max level messi or ronaldo who get outpaced and outstrengthed by 63 rated cb’s. The goalkeepers couldn’t even catch the coronavirus and often spill it giving the opposition a rebound and goal. The only reason i’m giving 2 stars is because the agility is so embarrassingly atrocious that once going back on to fifa i felt like i had about 700 agility. It’s good for getting better at fifa but nothing else about the app i can call good

Quite good but needs improving

I think it’s pretty good but I would like it to be more appealing. It would be nice if they had tournaments. Some more things I would like to be added / improved : player names on the back of the players shirts in a match ; show man of the match ; more expression in commentary ( for example : when there’s an overhead kick goal , instead of saying “And there’s the opener.” it could be “Oh! What a gooooooooal!” ; in a match to show the referee and when there’s an own goal , when they restart and they show the score it normally says “ own goal “ but it would be better if it said the player’s name and then “OG”. Finally it would be nice that when you get a scout that’s five stars, that you get a black ball ; four stars -> gold ball... and not always a crappy white / bronze ball. Otherwise it’s pretty good and fun ( once I scored from the top right of the pitch and curled it into the top left corner! Riyad Mahrez. ).

Need a league

Dear creators I would like to say a short thing or two about your game

Overall the game is very enjoyable but the one major thing that I can’t find on any iOS game and would be brilliant for you to add is if you can put some kind of league table thing like normal leagues which have more games to play and you get more money throughout were you place at the end of the season on the table

I will I also won’t you to add something for when you pick a manager/ formation it tells you what kind of positions you can play with because I have Aguero upfront and want to play maradona but don’t know which formation to pick so that he can be a support stricker

If you add this I honestly believe that it will take your game forward and attract all kinds of your Primary and secondary audiences

Well...

This game at first is amazing until you go to the competitive side of the game. I thought it would be simple and a good play but I soon realised the game was rigged. My 92 rated striker was being caught up but my mates 67 rate defender. For some reason the opposition gk is incredible and it’s hard to get past them unless u are 6 yards away from goal. I’ve made many tackles yet the opposition seem to just walk THROUGH my players and when I dribble my players can’t control a ball. You think it’s incredible at the start and you would want to keep playing it but then you just get bored and the game loses the whole point. You can also saved these points up for packs, these packs are meant to be really good you can get 93 rated players yet when I open them I get a sliver ball or a 74 rated player. I try to enter my Konami ID but it just declined every time I do it. I think they should fix the game and focus on bugs not adding more packs

Why people put 1 star and why I put 5 stars!

Scrolling through the reviews I see many people complaining about this game being a rip off and graphic is bad etc. I do agree with them about PES do constantly tries to make you pay. But PES also offers you a choice not to. You receive Club Points everyday and through campaign. For those who needs to pay to become good, is because you did not spend your points wisely. I have been playing PES mobile from 2019, and during the end of 2019 where there were no more featured players, I spent over a hundred British pounds to get normal Messi and Ronaldo (98, 97 rating). But actually, I got all the featured Messi and Ronaldo (100, 99 rating) and many more including MoSalah, Virgil Van Dijk, Neymar, Eriksen, Busquest without paying a single pound. You need to realise which player you want, and you only draw from that selection. Never draw from normal.

Again, try FIFA mobile, and you will know that PES is 110% better!

Gr8 game & isn’t P2W - as other bad reviews have said

If this was a single player game it would be a 3-4 star game but it’s even called eSports in the Title & the online mode is a joke , everything is so delayed in it You take a shot & the next thing is a save , miss or goal for example Online play just isn’t possible & it’s such a shame as in single player it’s not a bad game Plus great it’s possible to get a dream team F2P which I have in a few weeks Something in FifaMobile isn’t possible without money , but still even both as F2P games FIFA wins hands down With great events , great modes of play Not just the usual 90min matches & best of all Online in Fifa is spot on it’s just a shame to be on par with the Fifa community you either need to spend money ( Pes u don’t ) or spends loads of boring hours in the Transfer market just on the hope of making Fifa coins - all in all FIFA is the better game but if PES could sort the online mode out & do great events like FIFA - PES would be better as it is PES falls well short

My favourite mobile game, improvement still needed

When I play the offline gamemodes, the game is compelling and fun, the progression system in this game is well thought out, and there is always room for experimentation and improvement.

However, I find there are two problem areas for this game. Firstly, the online gamemode is always laggy and the new match day mode they added hasn’t fixed the problem at all. Secondly, there is no master league/ career mode feature in this game. While progressing and having a team of all stars from Messi, to beckham, to van dijk is entertaining, a career mode would a perfect addition, as it would take the wonderful offline experience and improve it further. While I may not speak for all the fans, I personally would pay for an entertaining mobile football career mode/ master league experience, which FIFA mobile has proven is possible, before removing it in FIFA 17 mobile.

Good but not great

Its wide functionality of various different amounts of gameplay have really impacted this football game as one of the best simulator games.

It is a compact and easy game to play however certain things like the defence contrallability towards the olayer really lacks the full excitement and expression of the game, its slow and its quite shocking compared to other games like dream league soccer.

In order for the game to improve, it needs to increase the speed of the games performance, assist in better connectivity when opposing to other online teams in game modes and mainly it needs to make the defence as easy and not as complicated and slow than it normally shouldn’t be.

In conclusion, it doesn’t really follow through the same ability that the console does and this is easy to forgive because its on mobile, but they should insist on maling a creativity series which enables the game to become the same as the actual gameplay on consoles.

Show player stats per season

I’ve been a big fan since the beginning of pes2019 and have played the game almost every day and my only complaints are that I wish there would be some sort of menu where you could see who on your team/club has scored the most goals gotten the most assists and so forth or even in campaign for there to be some sort of we way to see who your top scorer is and stuff like that for that specific season also based on the new update I think you should make the net look more realistic when the ball hits it cos it makes it seem as if the net is really loose but in irl it’s a lot tighter when you watch games and I think this would make it more realistic and closer to watching football on tv but overall its a very good game

Don’t play online games!!

This is a game of two distinct personalities!

The standard game playing campaign matches or other COM based opponents is great - fantastic mobile version of the game every bit as good as a console version.

The game is responsive and the gameplay flows brilliantly.

Games against online opponents are none of these things. You wait an age on responses from opponents pre game and at half time.

The game is then clunky, you press buttons and it takes over a second for the response to take effect, leaving you watch as your top rated player that knocks fast, accurate passes about the park takes another two or three paces after the button press and loses the ball to opponents, or doesn’t hit the shot you made on the 18 yard line until after running into he keeper on the six yard line.

All this on a super-fast fiber connection which streams 4K video without a glitch!!

I’ll never play an online match in this game again, which is a shame as the other aspects of the game are great.

2020 Update:

Congrats Konami, you have destroyed this game - controls are now awful, unresponsive and players like Messi, Salah and Maradona now can not control a pass and get the ball taken off them by journeymen?!!!

Game players never win a tackle, AI players never lose a tackle and you can press pass three or four times and your players don’t respond and get tackled on their own six yard line.

This is the worst update ever - I wish I could have 2019 back.

Lots of things could be improved

Hi, i played this game for a week everyday and i noticed some small and major problems aswell, first of all, very simple game menu, no eye atractive effects, nothing special, difficulties in players control (sometimes small and basic commands doesn't happen), can be added best players but you don't meet the required score 250 if you exceed that you get better opponents but they win all the time, even if you give 2-3 goals by the end of the game they either do tie or win, and sometimes it feels that if you have advantage the opponent (computer) play in such way just to win, so alot of games you just lose them. Lack of campaign details it's another one i would loved some story or interactive menus with opponents, second/third league to advance on the first places, some field upgrades. Plenty of things to do in that game that would make is more pleasant. I love the game, it did attracted for a week or so, but that was it. Thanks for more info just reply.

Fixed Games

I just started playing against ‘Superstar’ difficulty and have quickly realised that it is completely fixed. The reason you lose is not because the other team is better than you, but because the game doesn’t want you to win. It makes it seem like your players are too slow or too weak but in reality they are not. The game makes them to weak so you lose the ball. Another example is shooting. I was 1-0 down in added time when I got clean through with a 96 rated Deli Ali. I tell him to shoot at an open goal but he takes about 4 touches, at which point a defender tackles him and the game ends. On any other difficulty he would have scored. It is clearly a way to make players think they have a bad team and make them buy coins to try and improve it. My team is 4150 rated so I know that it is far good enough. The rest of the game is pretty good but this is so annoying and should be changed.

Unfair game

When I play against a “superstar” difficulty team, the reasons that I lost wasn’t because they had amazing skills and controls. If my players and the opponent players crushed into each other, the opponent always recover quicker and able to get the ball while my player is still struggling.

Also, if my players and the opponent chasing towards the ball, the system will automatically think the opponent gets the ball even though we are the same distance away from the ball, and the running speed does not matter as the opponent will get the ball anyway.

If I interrupted a pass from the opponent, the ball will automatically roll towards the other opponent players, 8 out of 10 this happens, if I have 10 players around the ball and it will automatically roll toward the opponent who is the closest. And if you are lucky, the ball rolls towards your players, then your players will start running away from the ball and you cannot control that player, and as I mentioned, then the opponent recovered and get the ball. This game is bs!!!

Fixed

So frustrating to play. Unable to defend pretty much any attack, getting split apart by nearly every ball played forward from the opposing side which seems to then have a magnetic pull effect on the back four so that they are now pulled out of position! It’s as if the result is already determined before kick off. One min you can be easily winning 2 nil against an average side, totally in control with no danger on the horizon and then with 10 mins to go it’s like the opposing team have turned into the best team ever, playing you off the park and before you know it you either draw or lose. Usually with the last kick of the game, the ref will give them a free kick, which as a human player you would never get awarded, from which they will score. It’s not even as though you can practice and learn how to defeat a really good side, the game is just fixed so that you lose. Buttons don’t seem to respond, passing all of a sudden becomes sloppy and a through ball to which one of your players can get on the end of is now impossible!!

2018 was a lot better and controls are unresponsive

Back then when pes18 was still out I used to play it quite a lot and everything was smooth but now in 2019 it has almost gone worst I don’t find myself playing it anymore and whenever I do I rage because the controls are so unresponsive the joystick. (Which you use to control the player) just stops working whenever you pass it passes to someone else and it is so slow and I think the statics of the players are irrelevant because if you have someone like hazard or Bale against a let’s say 58 rated player I don’t see the statistics coming to life and ANOTHER thing that has really annoyed me is the FAKE SHOT doesn’t work anymore whenever I try it does the fake shot then immediately chips the ball after which is annoying and make you loose possession and it takes up your battery so quick I am so tempted to delete the game but since I have a good squad I might not I am putting it out there I am NOT ENJOYING the game like I used to in pes 18 please fix it

Disappointing and Illogical

While overall a good game with decent graphics, there are a few key issues which need to be ironed out.

- When trying to pass to somebody close by on your team, for some reason the game decides to pass to some far away teammate in another direction, so your pass is intercepted, and the move you tried to make is countered.

- Pressuring doesn’t work. Opposition players just slide past you, and you give away free kicks frequently if you nudge them. However, the other way round, you are always tackled.

- When you give a player a command, he will take a couple of touches before performing the action, so you are inevitably tackled.

- When you shoot, often your shots just go straight at the goalkeeper, so it is saved.

- Often, annoyingly, your players forget to control the ball, giving the ball away (even 96 rated Messi does this).

- Goalkeepers never keep hold of the ball, they always spill it. A lot of goals are rebounds.

- Headers from crosses are impossible, from either completely missing the ball or being outmuscled by the opposition, despite your player’s aerial ability.

- 2 yellow cards is automatic suspension. Seriously?

- Can’t find Scout x1 option instead of x3 option. (Help?)

However, you can’t say that it isn’t an improvement from PES 2018, and the graphics are amazing...

Please sort out the gameplay issues.

Can’t even play one game! A MUST read holistic review of the game.

I had this game for two years now and had over time became more and more dissatisfied with its evolution. Incredible but two years ago the game had been much better than it is now. The changes to gameplay had been a salient problem last year, but due to my love for this game I forgave and kept playing. But this year it is ridiculous.

The interface is HORRIBLE and I cannot emphasise it enough. This is specially shown in the lack of names in the selection screen which shows just player faces. While the incorrect player data is one thing putting regen faces is even more confusing.

Incredibly, to add to all the cosmetic issues. The graphics in this version seem to had hit rock bottom. It is now outrageously awfully pixelated. I cant even begin to imagine how the graphics get such a downgrade.

The last issue with this game is the most crucial one. As of lately I can’t play it. Every match crashes before it even begins, with an error message popping up.

A minor issues is the 50% decrease in daily gold coins allocated added a distasteful odour to the game that had been very generous in the past. This generosity had spurred me to spend money and devote many hours of my time to the game.

Overall, Konami, what on earth had happened??! Sort this mess out. Or just revert all the changes before it’s too late.

Mobile Football At It’s Finest

After a much anticipated wait for the new update of a great football game in my opinion and the extra maintenance work I have to say it was well worth the wait, the improvements made in this edition have made the game even better with stunning visuals for a mobile game and the controls work better as I use the classic set up with the virtual stick and on screen buttons, the shooting mechanics seem better too compared to the old version as shots didn’t seem to go where you aimed but this time round there more accurate when aiming at the goal. I could go on with more about this update but if you haven’t played before or are updating your current version you will find out for yourselves. As they say Football The Beautiful Game and this is definitely it in my opinion. Have Fun and definitely a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ game 😃⚽️🤩⚽️😃

Love it!

For the ones who rated it 1 star, I really agree that you should quit this game. However, if you consider to change to fifa mobile, I would not recommend you to play it. Fifa mobile used to be fun, however until the new season only. Now it would not even let us to play a full game, if yes then only for several matches. But, PES isn’t like that. They let us play the full game, even in event mode which Fifa doesn’t. And also, for the ones that criticises the game as wasting, you are a bunch of gamers that your level of boredom reaches to that you are buying for inapp purchases. And when you buy it, you cried that it doesn’t worth for the money you spent. And for people who lost their accounts, stop complaining about you cannot transfer your game onto another device, because the hell? You have to save it first so that you can transfer it later. And for the developers, I think the game will be perfect if you remove the energy thing. And if you want more download, then try to make it accessible for every country.

I rly luv this game, been on it for ages now. I have highly recommended this game to friends, it is a gr8 football app with radical gameplay!

Firstly the way the game rewards users is generous, however doesn’t make it ‘easy’ to play. It requires strong tactics in challenges to get the best results for your team, which is so satisfying as an invested user.

The rate of acquiring top players is referred to as an issue in other reviews, although I think the rate is determined on the opportunities you take as a virtual manager for your editable team. The updates and daily challenges are so inviting too (especially with the World Cup updates currently adapting my team).

The reason for the 5 stars is that this game never forces anything upon a user, just asks for you to play brilliant football. Some crazy comebacks and last minute winners have sent me cheering for joy or humbly whimpering. These emotions are what football are about.

Some additions could include optional gameplay settings (night or day etc.), or maybe let 2nd and 3rd teams be created through using players in reserves (I have like 30 players that I wanna use to upgrade but won’t fit in my team or subs). These are small things that don’t make a difference in my reliability in the game. Thank PES! and thank the beautiful game! ⚽️

Rip off fix don’t waste any time!

Firstly let me start by saying I “DID” think this game was class! But quickly realised it’s just a rip off fix!! Spent loads of coins and real money on scouts and you never and I mean never get a player rated higher then 70ish! So you just stay the same constantly, and spend all your coins! And real money if you choose too! Which is just the same as I’ve tested it! Thinking maybe if I pay for it it might give me something decent but it doesn’t! All the rewards are just the same all the time! There’s not enough rewards that get you players, or if it even just guaranteed a decent player once in a while as a reward or loyalty gift/bonus! But you don’t get anything! The actual game play especially the online matches are just completely fixed!! Your players don’t work as good as the normal mode ie: slow, and can’t shoot!! Like their stats are lowered or something!! And the keepers and refs are just a joke can’t even explain how bad they are it’s pointless having them in the game they’re that useless!!! I wouldn’t waste your time in even trying this game out! I’ve been waiting ages an ages to get a decent player in scouts, and to see improvements I’ve had it for ages hoping it would but nothing changes ever! So I’m going to give fifa a go anyways now. I’d do the same if I was anybody wondering if you should download this!!
