Hello my name is Joanne Louise I live in Manchester uk, so I have ptsd so I have lived through trauma so any whoo I have purchased 2 pairs of adidas trainers in the last 2 weeks and have worn them to go outside with more confidence than ever so I have agoraphobia unfortunately so I did have a pair of blue gazelle absolutely years ago, mum and I go to alhao Portugal a couple of times a year to visit my uncle and auntie, my uncle Stuart is manager of walking foot ball and have won the European football team for Portugal so I’m proud to say I’m a MCFC supporter and my family are MUFC so when I go to spend quality time with my family I have played over 50’s walking football with ex professional footballers and I wear my city top with JO JO 1 on the back and I love the confidence of the fact that they have never played for the best team in the world so any whoo I will be wearing my adidas trainers with my city top and with pride as my town is Manchester and my favourite artist is OASIS and we are part of the MCFC family and for my personal best opinion is adidas gives me a Mancunian vibe. Only recorded 2 of my three orders, missing the most important one, my Rangers football jersey 😡. So now don’t even know if I will get it, although I’ve already ordered and paid for it, gave them the O/N (order number) what else can I do!? I love sports direct but this time they fell short of the usual standards, in this instance! I have to be honest however much I like them! The website is great the deals are out of this world, but I found myself paying for delivery and still waiting weeks, that’s not acceptable and yeah Evri have to take some of that pain but we don’t choose Evri sports direct do! Other than the point, a great service, price and quality, for me it’s just the plainest no brainier out there! No offence.

This is the first order but definitely gonna be the last.
It's my first time ordering on sports direct and this is the worst experience ever. I tried to order and at the end it just got stuck didn’t show if the order was completed not even an order confirmation email but the payment was taken. It says that the order usually appears after couple of hours but it’s been more than 24 hours nothing showed up. Contacted via email no response at all, didn’t get a tracking number so I can even track my order. What a real mess! Now I have no idea whether I am gonna recieve it or should I try ordering again, I needed that before Christmas.

Very poor customer
Very bad and poor customer service, return some items on the 21st June, till now my money has not been refunded, made a purchase of an item on Friday 20th of September, the money deducted but no order confirmation in my email and no receipt of my order in the app, this is crazy and annoying, and no customer care number to contact.

Terrible app, barely works
The app crushes pretty often, I clicked multiple times “remove” button from favourites just to keep my wish list tidy and the items I removed were still there, search bar sometimes works sometimes not. It’s just not made for smooth, easy customer experience. They should invest in fixing the app if they want to make money because it’s not customer friendly at all. Plus NO FREE RETURNS and NO FREE DELIVERY above bigger sums, no option to return to the store either like we it’s 2024 EVERY OTHER BRAND OFFERS FREE RETURNS and some kind of free delivery when you spend more. Sport direct just live in 2005 soooo outdated, bad marketing, bad app need big improvements

1.Mobile app performance should be a bit better, when I scroll the app tend to navigate me into a products details page, so this is quite sensitive on the scroll.
2.When returning a product I would not expect to pay postage….Like other ecom/retail companies I never paid postage to return an item…

As an active family, Sports Direct is perfect for all of our needs. My husband runs, walks the dog (trust me, walking our dog is definitely a sport 😁) and plays badminton. I go to the gym, and our son is football crazy! I often find that the online store has a wider range of products, and much better offers! Plus, having a growing, football mad teenager isn’t cheap so any and all savings are very welcome. All of the clothing, kit bags, accessories and footwear are excellent quality and they stock all of the brands from Adidas to Under Armour, plus you can order online either into store or directly to your home. It’s definitely worth a look in your local store too, the staff are brilliant in our store 👍🏼

Beware of the sharks!
The app is average. I am reviewing the SportsDirect online experience overall which is important as the app is not a game. SportsDirect do not play fair when it comes to online sales. They have removed the ability to make returns or exchanges in store. Therefore if you need to return something due to poor sizing or quality not as described, you pay minimum £4.99 for delivery to home or store and then minimum £4.99 to return, and then if you want the different size you pay another £4.99 delivery. They will also try and push a credit note onto you and not a refund. Therefore factor these additional costs in when shopping via this app. Shame, it used to be convenient to use the deliver to store with the £5 store credit and the store returns process. Often cheaper to buy sale items direct from the authentic brand sites now.

Initial impressions are great
Hi this is great I have been waiting for sports direct to release a dedicated shopping application to browse their catalog for ages having shopped online and for convenience on my iPhone. Paired with their excellent value items I am finding compiling favourite lists useful after having picked up a really great Karrimor running top the other month from one of their stores-and I must say this has endlessly more just as great products to browse which is just what I was looking for as well as save some money.

Bad customer complaint department you can’t speak to any one

Split deliveries/ In stock items missing from order
Ordered a considerate amount of items from the store and I didn’t receive all of them. Come to find that they have a split delivery systems. Also I ordered something from the store which was in stock at the time of order, the item was left out during the packing phase. I contacted customer service and the lady was really helpful, but I find out that the item is no longer in stock. So I didn’t receive a piece of my order and when I came to ask about it, the item was out of stock. Frankly I’d give the place one star but the CSR was super polite.

This is about my 6th pair of work boots I’ve ordered at sports direct in 4 years & especially in my job as a scrap merchant in old farm yards lifting scrap & goin into the scrap yard with nail’s about every where the odd time time the nail goes into the soul of the boots then the dreaded wet feet lol but honestly can say these & the black Dunlop working boots around £26 is the cheapest anywhere about not only a cheap price but excellent quality & I really like them as there very light but very durable & really comfortable which is I really like in my job as before I discovered these boots as before I was always a rigger boots man but I couldn’t understand after a wile my legs we’re getting sore & heavy so I went to the doctor & explained to him & he said because of the rigger boots been loose & heavy boots he said I was trailing my legs with them on & he was right from that day to now I’ve always been getting the Dunlop boots & guess what no more sore legs anyway you’ve heard enuf of my ranting & raven lol but 100% highly recommended.

My Honest Review.
Sports Direct is by far my favourite sports shop to go to when shopping for anything sports related, from football boots to astro turf boots to even rucksacks! At the moment I am looking for football boots and astros, I feel like I’m flying through heaven! The amount of choice I have that they have in my size (7.0) is incredible. I have shopped at sports direct what feels like forever, and I will never stop.

Handy & Value for Money, Shame about the Delivery Charge…
I love a bit of Sports Direct, I can always find great brands that look great on either me or the family, at prices we can afford. Shame about the delivery charge though, I would have given 5 stars otherwise, but it always puts me off in these days of ‘free delivery’ for every man & his Dog… except Sports Direct. Why not build the delivery charge into the price of the garment like everyone else does? Now we tend to wait until we need to order a few things to get the ‘free delivery on orders over £50’ but we’d use Sports Direct more if they got rid of the delivery charge. Missing Boots and didn’t get my refund.
DON’T ORDER FROM SPORTS DIRECT THEY SCAM YOU. I ordered £200 pound football boots and the delivery driver didn’t order them to the right place that I asked therefore I don’t know if the delivery driver stole my boots or someone took them. You don’t have flexibility to choose when you’ll be home for your delivery so I was missing my delivery by like a 5-10 min margin. It happened like 2 days in a row. Therefore I put on the app for my delivery to be delivered to my back door. However the driver didn’t deliver it to the back door, he delivered it to my front door ( which I didn’t ask for ) and took a picture of my door with no package and said it was delivered. I got home 5 mins later and there was no package to be found. I contacted Sports Direct wanting my refund but I didn’t get it. Don’t buy from them absolute scammers.

This app is fantastic! I love how they layered it out and shows everything as once before you press the image. I believe there can be 2 improvements. Firstly, I believe some of the prices can we reduce by 20% occasionally. Secondly, when you first download the app I believe there should be a range different brands to choose from, so as you pick some, most of them would be your top picks. Overall, I will The Sports Direct app a 9/10 as it shows most of the brands out there and also does it’s job.

The app is buggy
I have no problem with the shop itself, it’s just the app. It never seems to work for me like just then when i was trying to buy a new pair of football boots. When i tried to select a colour the list went off the screen and i wasn’t able to scroll up or down to select black, it also kept redirecting me to slazenger gear when i wanted adidas. Certain pop ups and tabs wouldn’t close when i wanted them to and it’s of no issue to my phone which is practically new. I have no problems with any other apps.

The app can be a bit slow and laggy most times but definitely had lots of products now the thing that is the most annoying to me and most likely will be to you too is the struggle to find things it’s not very clear on how to get to places I personally think and so do many others that they need to polish the app a bit (mainly the home page of the app) but the menu is very polished and easy I do have to agree on that it’s just ashamed they haven’t made the whole app as useful as the menu!!!

Gone into store to get some more trainers as id previously got a pair of shoes that i think are great but they didnt have my size this time round. The assistant suggested online so found this app and within a couple of minutes “after the app downloaded” I found the exact trainers i was looking for originally in the store with my size and within about 5 mins id added them to my basket and paid. Cant get better then that.

Paid for next day delivery, half of order arrived, other half missing. One trainer in a box which I think is completely incompetent. Pumps and leggings missing completely. Explained if they couldn’t get a pair of trainers to me next day then I wanted a refund. They refused to send until I returned the odd trainer I had. Items that did arrive are of very poor quality.
Refused to refund the way I paid instead sending an evoucher which is useless to me as I will never order from them again.
Customer service extremely poor. Emails ignored, it’s actually theft, no goods and no refund. Please read reviews before ordering, I wish I had.

I originally bought some new trainers, vest tops and capri pants for my Zumba class and collected them from a SD store. When I tried them on I was really pleased with the fit and later started looking online at the App.
I then discovered so many more items that would be really useful and progressed to purchasing socks, sports bras, tee shirts and a jacket. However, it hasn’t stopped there!
One day whilst browsing the App I discovered some really nice underwear and a fleecy jacket which I just had to purchase. There are always special offers on and great bargains to be had. I have even got my boyfriend involved now. Besides shorts, trainers, vests and socks for a sponsored run he has recently ordered some dress shoes for Christmas!
Whenever we want some new clothing we both look on the SD App first and I have just purchased some Christmas presents for my daughter and son-in-law there too. It makes shopping ideas really easy.

Easy to use
Great store, with a website to match. Just typing in your address which the database picks up straight away, easier than putting postcode in.
Payment is also easier, I used Apple Pay but I liked that they ensure you check before hitting the Pay button.
All in all a great service ( will see if my delivery is as good )

This app is really easy to use and slickly built; my only issue is the stock-update lag. For example, an item will show you what sizes are (apparently) in stock before you click on it. However, I often find that despite my size showing as available, it’s actually not when I click on the item I want. Apart from this slight annoyance, it’s a great app! That said, Sports Direct could improve their overall proposition by offering free delivery based on a minimum spend - or even a subscription service - as virtually all other companies do...

Good and easy to use
I like this app because it’s easy to use and it has lots of filters to find faster what you need. Plus, compare to other apps when you change the page and then want to go back it takes you where you were (ie. if you see a product you like and click on it to add it to your basket, when you go back it takes you right where you were and that’s a great thing. Other apps take you to the top of the page and need to scroll down again over the items you saw already).

Worse shop ever and worse customer service
Very bad service, I bought pair of shoes for my daughter. Before I buy it, asked the cashier if it’s not right can I return it and he said: yes you can.
It was really uncomfortable shoes for her, couldn’t walk with it, took it back to the store in Westfield white city. The manager was really rude and said they don’t have a refund policy. I told her, before I buy it, I asked and told I can return it. She said yes return means exchange😡I was so upset from the way she was talking ( like I’m someone stupid). worse shop and worse manger ever. Everyone make sure never to buy anything from sport direct. You can find Better price, better quality and better customer service in any other sport shops but not sport direct.

Terrible customer services
Order placed Sunday paid next day delivery item didn’t show up, tracking said delayed Tuesday myhermes inform me my paragraphed is damaged beyond repair contact sports direct via contact form regarding this to receive an email back telling me it was despatched and with the courier, well obviously it’s still with the courier was they are refusing to deliver it and asked me to contact the sender it’s now Thursday and no contact back regarding this webchats no where to be found the phone numbers ring out and the contact us form is as much use as a chocolate teapot, I’m now £50 and a birthday gift down with zero contact from them and no way for me to get in touch with them, safe to say I’ll never be ordering from them again ! And I’ll be taking this matter further
If I could have given zero stars I would have !

Nice and easy
I’m a 53 year old male and I walk to and from work for an hour a day, so footwear and jackets need to be decent as I’m out in all weathers. Sports Direct clothes are perfect- they are decent quality, easy to order and replace if necessary, and I go for store delivery as I get the £5 voucher. The Karrimor Hot Rock walking boots I got only lasted a year but they are still the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had. And the hooded down jackets are perfect when layering up in rainy weather or just on their own in Autumn and Spring. It’s pretty well the only place I shop now.

Keeping child warm on cheap side
The child has always been cozy and warm in no fear, firetrap and and kappa since he was younger age now at 10, he’s still enjoying these hoodies, easy to wash, but they are very tight to take off from around the neck , sizes are China made so remember we are giants compared to China petit builds, so we need to bump it up by 1 or 2 siz3s up.
They do Wash very well, they don’t shrink or fade even when they are washed at 40-60. As he likes to slug trail on his sleeves so higher temp to disguise all germs, is a must,
The downside is rubbish that fiver delivery charge there is no set price to get free delivery and no discount on delivery but it’s Hermes thar come to ones door...

Very good app with one problem
Sports Direct is an amazing app with all different brands on the app. Don’t get me wrong it is one of my favourite apps on the whole App Store. But there’s just one problem with it, it showed me an offer (free England football or cricket shirt if England won or something) and I filled out the details and then I forgot what I was filling out the details for so I pressed the back arrow and then it just disappeared. I’m very upset because I am from England and I support them but I don’t have an england football shirt. But other that the offers it is an amazing app.
P.S. if you would like to send me an England Football Shirt that would be very much appreciated!

APP OK But!
The app is above average but tends to stall on some functions I have found. Prices are not as good as they were and some of the quality of the clothing leaves a lot to be desired. Never know what size to order and the other half is fed up of sending stuff back cause it does not fit. Must have different tape measures in the Far East! We tend to go to the store again when we need to purchase as at least you can see better than photos. I have deleted many stores apps now because of the postal charges outweighing the saving online with so many returns. Online versus High Street? My pendulum is swing back to the High Street even if it is a bit dearer and more time consuming.

Easy to use app
Flexible app and easy approach to shopping for sports gear .
Delivery charge is disappointing but it does balance out if collect in store .
Would like to see added a link to individual store availability of selected items .
Also allow me to enter in my measurements once and then get only items in my size as well as notifications to my specific size and sports
Definitely recommend this app but hope they continue to keep it fresh and enjoyable to use

App is great just wish they didn’t always run out of products after you’ve paid
I’ve used the app numerous times and got some great bargains. The only complaints I’ve got is that they a) use Hermes who are completely unreliable and b) they often run out of products after you’ve paid. This is annoying as the postage isn’t cheap and often it’s the thing that the whole order was for in the first place. For the bargains I’ve actually received , communication, tracking etc I’d give 5 star

Review of sports direct goods, service, delivery
I find that the goods supplied by Sports Direct very good value, normally everything the family wants are met in store. However do find that some things sell out quickly...probably as the price is very competitive.
However the delivery price is quite high when sending abroad....considering the introduction of the app was so very much cheaper.
It would be very advantageous to your company to get an outlet in Australia...Adelaide preferably, as at the moment my family and many friends use me to bring or send over your goods for their family.

Too much fuss
When I first tap on the app I just get a rolling scene. It doesn't take straight to the choices of department. There is simply too much nothingness which I don't like. Keep it simple and easy to use please. Also when I put things in the bag it's not easy getting back to the previous page to continue shopping, it's not very clear whether or not I have something in my bag as it seems to rake it out if I go back a page.
Did the person who designed it actually go through the process of putting things into the bag then continuing to shop in the same department ? I think not as it looks like it was designed by a bloke

Not too bad
The app itself is okay. Very little difference from viewing the web page but the convenience of a button from your home page.
I would have given 5* but for two things; (1) be prepared to either adjust your preferences or accept that you will be bombarded with emails, push notices and sales that are due to end but surprise surprise, get extended.
(2) there is a total lack of any phone support. If you want to query an order or chance a delivery then it’s email or nothing.

Unexpectedly Great!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this stack um high sell um cheap outlet, but the app is a winner - The auto search whilst typing your registration address is just one of many super user-friendly features, like being able to switch around easily between delivery options and a really clear summary view before your final purchase confirmation - Brilliant, many a business could learn from this app design. Well done!

Not the best.
Found this app fiddly to navigate. Jumps when choosing what you want to a different selection and when trying to go back it doesn't go to where I was. Wouldn't allow me to sign in with my original email and password either even though I was already signed in on safari so had to change to my iCloud email. Though on a positive I like the clear photos and when it eventually lets me choose what I'm looking for it takes me there without wasting time looking at items which do not have the size or colour I'm looking for.

I have only just found this app and I am amazing at how cheap the products are and they have always been a wonderful shop for reduced stock but now I have found this app I will shop here all the time,
Not only do they sell the stock a lot cheaper but they also give you 20% off as well.
Only down fall is that I think they should remove the postal charge if you spend a certain amount of money
But on the whole wonderful

Impressed.
I don’t really tend to shop on apps or online because I find it to be a bit of a palava where I lose my basket half way through shopping or find an item only to lose it and have to scroll 50x to get back to it. Not with this app though. It’s smooth and kept my basket for days even though I hadn’t registered yet and I closed the app. It goes back to where you were exactly when you press the back button and provided an all round smooth and easy shopping experience.

So easy to use
Just like the website, the app is so easy to navigate. Everything is in a logical order, it’s very welcoming with not too much info in your face, everything runs smoothly and I think the app is great. You can sort and refine what you’re looking for, search for items, check your bag whenever you like and there is a place to even save items for later. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5* is that when you visit your bag, it doesn’t go back to your search, it goes home which is only a minor thing.

One of the best shopping apps I’ve used
This app is great! Each item shows the sizes available in the list view, which means you can see at a glance whether or not it’s available in your size. When you click back it goes back to the same place you left, so you don’t have to scroll through half the page of items that you’ve already seen. This is so easy to use, other big companies should take note!

Great app
The app is easy and helpful to order anything you want,just type in the search box and it comes up. Very easy and secured payment throughout. I only rated 4 stars out of 5 because of delivery fee even if you do shopping over £100. But despite £5,99 delivery cost they do delivery it very fast, you have also option for the orders to be delivered to your local shop ,and I have chose Halfords because it’s open till late so I can pick it up after work. 👍
