Christella Antoni is a Consultant Speech & Language Therapist with over 20 years experience of working with a wide variety of Voice clients. Christella is also the UK's leading expert working with transgender voice modification.
This app is designed to to help feminise the voice. It has particular relevance for individuals transitioning gender from male to female. Each stage contains five separate lessons which cover the fundamental aspects of voice and speech feminisation. These involve modification in the areas of resonance, pitch, intonation and vowel length. The final lesson of each stage combines these voice and speech aspects to help develop control sustaining the feminised voice.
The exercises are demonstrated throughout Christella and provide a consistent voice model, together with simple explanations. The exercises selected are based on Christella's successful treatment model; they gradually increase in length to ensure individuals securely acquire voice feminisation skills. With 10 minutes of daily practice, this app can help you feminise your voice!
You can also track the progress of your voice with the pitch analysis feature which will show how your voice develops over time.
A sample lesson and pitch analysis of your voice is provided for free with the 3 stages also available for purchase. The 3 stages provide a complete course in how to feminise your voice.

Well worth it! 5 stars!
Christella is well-known in the trans voice world so I was curious to check out her app - let me say, I wasn’t disappointed!!
I got all 3 stages cos I wanted to do the whole course.
Each stage builds on the work covered in previous stages. The exercises are separated up into different tabs so you can do them when suits you and can navigate easily between them. It also means you can do the stages at your own pace!
I really liked that Christella presents the app herself. It’s important for me to know why I’m doing each technique so I really liked that she gives brief explanations at the beginning of each stage and before each exercise. I found the voice feminisation tracker really useful too, as it kept me motivated to keep going with the course. Content-wise, the exercises used lots of words and phrases you would say in everyday life so it felt realistic.
My experience: It hands-down made a difference to my voice, including an increase in pitch! :) I do think you’ve got to put the effort in though (they recommend 10 mins a day). An added bonus was that my voice also sounds less croaky, which was an unexpected plus point!! If you can’t / dont want to access voice therapy face to face for whatever reason, or you’re looking to supplement your face to face therapy – I’d definitely recommend it!

Clear Tones
Great app with clear explanations for the non expert. The bonus of being able to track your progress, as well as seeing and hearing the exercises is a great help. Excellent motivator.
With the addition of stage 3 the progression is continued, but ups the difficulty, so there's is many exercises to satisfy all levels.
It is also highlights how one the leading speech and voice consultants works in an incremental and clear way. Great app.
