Description

The iSight Test Professional app lets you measure and save near and distant visual acuity in children from as young as 18 months through to adults. The app offers a choice of presentations and test distances and is simple and intuitive to use, making your testing quick and easy.
A New feature on the iPad is an option to test vision on any remote device or external screen.
In addition to Sloan letters and Kay Picture optotypes* to test young children and others with a learning disability, the app provides unique reading texts and fixation targets.
*The Kay Picture Test is the only fully-validated picture vision test with accurate, recognisable pictures and evidence-basedcrowding. This app is CE marked as a medical device.
Features:
⁃ Can be shared (iPad only) to another device for remote vision testing
⁃ Various testing distances from 33cm to 6 metres (3 metres on phone)
⁃ Choice of letters or pictures for testing a range of abilities
⁃ Displays LogMAR notation, plus metric or imperial Snellen, or Decimal
⁃ Records and saves visual acuity results for each eye to a log
⁃ Offers various single, crowded and chart presentations
⁃ Reading text and words in twelve sizes from N48 to N5
⁃ Sentences of exactly 50 words to facilitate reading speed testing.
⁃ Lock screen option on reading pages.
⁃ Easy to increase and decrease the size displayed
⁃ Simple to refresh the optotypes or text on screen
⁃ Provides coloured, animated fixation targets to maintain interest and accommodation.
Kay iSight Test Professional is free to download and to use its three-line distance letter test.
To obtain full access to all visual acuity tests, remote testing (iPad only), reading tests and fixation targets you need to purchase an auto-renewing subscription on a monthly or yearly basis.
A 30 day free trial period is available to new users at the start of your subscription to fully test the app before payment is taken.
Price may vary by location. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be able to cancel asubscription during the active period.
You can manage your subscriptions in your Account Settings after purchase.

Great app with great support

This app has been a wonderful purchase for our Sensory Service. Our teachers have found it easy to use and pupil engagement has increased as it is on the iPad. The team at Kay Pictures have been excellent in helping when needed too. A must have for QTVIs

Excellent tool for paediatric tests of under 5yrs

I love this app.
I used the older version which isn’t compatible with the new iOS (annoyingly)
However, I do like the new layout and the crowded letter feature too which is better for identifying strabismic amblyopia.
I look forward to further developments like linear Kay Pictures.
I especially love being able to advise my patients to play the free orient version of Say & Match app so they can practice the images in advance of their test with me.

Cannot get subscription level access after paying

Very disappointed that I have paid full subscription and have only had restricted, unusable free level of access. Try it out but make sure you get your money back if it does not work fully.
Neither year nor monthly subscription worked for me.
I had paid for previous version which has disappeared for this new, disappointing version.
This app is under the guise of a free app but insufficient function without paying. Very frustrated that it does not work even after paying.
