With a lot of negative and overall hate some people give for this game, I can’t begin to wonder what it would be like without it, I’m a daily player that does spend some money on the game but a very small amount, there are players that do spend a lot of money also but personally it doesn’t effect my overall experience, I play for the experience of playing with some of my favourite characters and to be able to unlock them all.
People say you have to pay to play and sometimes is the reason why many don’t play it however my opinion is if you enjoy playing a game regardless you can make it fun without spending anything specially if it’s Looney Tunes that’s the main reason I downloaded it nearly a year ago and never looked back since. However if you want to buy your way through it you can but realistically you don’t have to spend anything at all. Some of the new features are great and some are not so great but no game is perfect, But I love the regular events which always keeps me wondering what characters are next, which by the way is one thing I love that Scopely are always regularly updating to give its players the best experience, granted they might not always get it right but what company does no ones perfect. Overall it’s fun and challenging with my favourite childhood characters and would love to see more and more things happen for this game

The game itself is quite good but there are too many bugs in it, almost every time I play arena I get sone sort of error and get kicked from it with no refund of the skull keys I paid and when I finally get through a full arena run it doesn’t let me claim rewards. Contacting them in game takes far too long to get a response and even then they don’t actually do anything about it so rather pointless. Unless you put money into this, you will go nowhere fast.

Really fun game with lots of events to take part in once you’ve reached the required level. The majority of rewards are achievable and help you strengthen your existing Toons or acquire new Toons. Support are always happy to help as much as they can and provide suitable compensations if things go wrong. In app purchases are available to speed things up but not necessary once you’ve put the time in to build up your roster of Toons. There’s also a fantastic community out there of people who are all happy to give advice and tips on how to make the most out of the game. At the end of the day all your favourites Toons are in there in their various guises.....what’s not to love

Potential of the game is great but the rest is ridiculous. Totally unbalanced a specially in with stealing crates. There will be always someone more powerful as to many people pay for the goods and from 90% you will lose it which will make you much much weaker from the others. Events and good are ridiculously overpriced and make none sense to play . Some troops is impossible to get without money during the events. Developers made nice game but absolutely stupid and ridiculous prices for goods. Not happy at all.

Reading the reviews there's seemingly a lot of folk who I hate to say it but aren't very good and haven't really got the hang of how to proceed in the game.
I haven't spent a single penny and have risen up through the game to level 22 in about 10 days. It is important to be patient and to make the most of all the freebies and opportunities built into the game. Brawl a lot and keep auto winning the campaign levels when you aren't levelled up enough to keep going. The game just keeps giving you stuff.
But there's a problem - play on iPhone and iPad and the game gets stuck when switching. It never updates and shows your latest stats. You're forced to close the app in task switching and restart it. It's really badly designed in this way. Otherwise it's a fun diversion.

So when this game started out I thought it was really fun and different. Now I just think the game is a cheat. I grasped the point of the different abilities, levelling up and tuning up very quickly but while on campaign mode I found that after tuning up all four tunes I just kept getting beat. While previously getting 2 stars now I just get defeated constantly.
Since hitting level 8 everytime I enter a brawl (no matter how much higher a level my toons and I are) the defender gets to have three goes then I get one the. All their toons get another go which clears mine out. I got really lucky with some of my spins and currently have five 3 star toons already.
In all honesty I really don’t mind losing the brawls as I’d only have to discard the stolen chest anyway. I’m more bothered about the fact that my attacks don’t take as much health as they’re supposed to (when they have no extra defence over their health bar) and my character never counters. I watched a level 4 character smoke a level 10 toon who was up to tune up 9 in one move.
Sorry but I’d much rather grab a pipe pistol on Fallout 4 and repeatedly shoot the same bloatfly for an hour!

So the new arena feature is a good idea however it keeps crashing when your playing the battles. Example, so when your just about to win the game throws up a ERROR message then you’ve restart the app but the game then gives you 0 for that battle despite the fact that it’s the stupid games fault and I was literally just about to claim victory. I’m done Im not wasting any more time or money on this game. I honestly struggle to see why these companies can’t make a descent game. And it couldn't be my phone either, I’m running it on an iPhone XR.
Its also a rip off to buy anything, £100 to upgrade a toon to mediocre levels yeah right!

Ok, so until 48 hours ago, this was 5 stars from me.
Since then, and all of a sudden, this just crashes within a couple of seconds of trying to load it. No error, just crashes out.
“Support” are just saying “don’t know what’s wrong, but it will be fixed” - huh?
And then I see so many complaints in these reviews about the same problem.
A lot of people will give this a good review within hours of starting it. Before the problems begin.
So.... I’ve been playing this almost since it was released, I’ve put real money into it (only the starter offer tho to get me going), I’ve got my “A-Team” of Toons maxxed out on Level 59.... and now it looks like it’s gone. All of that time, effort and dedication gone, instantly gone :(
If that’s your interpretation of enjoyment then by all means go ahead & risk this. Otherwise at the moment I would have to say AVOID!!

Despite what other reviews say this is a really good game. If you like to grind daily and work hard in games then this is for you. It is possible to have a great account as a free to-pay player . I am free to play and run a very successful alliance (England). I have a solid toon roster and have been playing since December. ( start of global launch)
This game gets a lot of schtick from salty negative people which shouldn’t be the case. Many of which still play despite their awful reviews. The dev team have multiple events in a month and work hard to make sure things run smoothly. As this game is still fairly new things are bound to mess up from time to time but the devs see to it that matters are resolved fairly quickly. New features are being added along with toons and events . There discord server can be a great place to communicate with other players and find strong alliances .

Firstly this game is shown to have more 5 star reviews than is true. If you look at the reviews most are 1 or 2 star so the App Store is somehow faking or skewing the results.
The actual game critique is atrocious. It is solely pay to play. You can’t do anything really unless you invest thousands in it (and I really do mean thousands). The cheapest crates are £9.99 and inside those is nothing that is going to help you. You can obtain the things found in these crates in a few hours gameplay and on the whole, these items are mostly redundant. You can only upgrade characters with superior materials which you can’t really collect as pay to play maxed players steal them off you 100% of the time. The game has so many problems but the developers don’t do anything about it, just constantly reel out events that are....guess what....mostly pay to play. You need 100 tokens for a character and you’ll pay £28.00 for 3. You won’t be able to do anything in the events unless you pay lots of money. The customer service just assume you’re stupid and don’t know how to play the game and provide no customer service really. It’s a good looking game but that’s where the praise stops - unless you’re a millionaire do not download this game. And pay more attention to App Store ratings- they aren’t accurate.

This game was brilliant but since they’ve added this acme r&d in it’s ridiculous, even the easy mode is too hard, you need specific toons, if a certain one gets killed you lose straight away, they also knock our power down so now my top team, rated at over 33,000 is now worth 8000, their attack is useless and the boss wipes you out with 1 move, we also need new tools to upgrade our toons that can only be got from this event and can only be bought while it is active, so not only can I not get any, so I can’t upgrade my toons but if I did I’d have to buy them while it’s active otherwise wait till it starts up again. This really was a great game and I loved it but not anymore unfortunately

Absolutely love this game! So addictive to collect the different toons! You unlock different areas of the town which unlocks different toons... can’t wait for level 40, you open the space planet!
You can play brawl challenges for chests which help you level up your toons to make them stronger in battle. You also have what is called campaign levels which is like story mode and you collect items to help build your toons up. I can’t get enough, absolutely love it!

The devs value 1 toon at half power is worth £100 lol
No package under £9.99, most over £19.99...
They give something with one hand while adding more expense and frustration with the other hand.
They forced an update on everyone yesterday, locking everyone in the league position they were in. Unable to reverse and only go forward (where you have to face bigger and better teams who take your crates, so you can’t get better)
Their response is at best, outrageous and unacceptable

I’m a bit torn.
I enjoy the game and the various ‘missions’ so I’d be happy to give more stars for that but man the app stability is poor!
Prior to the recent bug and performance update, I’d get about 5mins before it crashed....with the latest update, the app barely launches before it crashes!
