iFont lets you install new fonts for use in apps which support creating content using custom fonts, such as Pages, Keynote or Numbers.
What can't iFont do?
iFont can't change the system font; work with the keyboard; or force apps to let you customise the font. iFont also can't make Comic Sans look good.

iFont includes a wide range of features which let you install, compare, and view typefaces, including individual glyphs and technical details. These include:
CUSTOM FONTS
Install your own fonts (.ttf, .ttc, .otf formats supported, as well as these formats compressed in a .zip) for use in other apps. Simply download a font in a web browser, open in iFont and follow the simple instructions to install it on your device. You can also export a copy of the font, or send the profile to a friend to let them install it, too. iFont can also open archives containing multiple fonts.
FONT DOWNLOADS
iFont lets you download and install a range of fonts from the Google Fonts library, Dafont and more (including custom sources) within the app. It couldn’t be easier to find a suitable typeface for your next leaflet, poster or financial report.

Very Limited Use
Can only use imported Fonts in less than 7 Apps, can’t use in Mail, Word or anything useful

I did what it said and still hasn’t came into my apps, the apps I want it for is Snapchat and WhatsApp, just to message and for display names. I can’t find it anywhere on my keyboard.

Beware!
This app installs an unsigned profile on your phone - I did this but the font does not install even though it says that is installed.
There is a three day free trial after which you have to pay and if at a future date you remove the profile any font you do manage to install will be gone

Does what it says on the tin
It’s annoying that you need an app to install fonts on the iPad & iPhone, and the process is slightly fiddly, but this app does a good job of making it possible. It has clear instructions and generously allows you to add 10 custom fonts in the free version. The fonts I added became available in Keynote etc. immediately.
Highly recommended if you want custom fonts iOS/iPad OS.

Couldn’t be more frustrated
Trying to download an app font from DaFont and every time I try to download a suggestion comes up which asks me if I want to do multiple downloads I would I click no and try to download again and the suggestion comes back up. It will not allow me to download anything. I don’t know if paying for the app I will change this but I’m not prepared to pay for this app until I can see it working.

Ok, I was wrong, it works.
The import and the download of the fonts work but I cannot change the font of my iPad in, settings -> general -> fonts, as it does not appear, even after I have accepted the font in device management. It’s such a shame for a overall for a well received app.
Edit: Thank you for your quick response and clarifying my misunderstanding of the description of iFont. And yes it does work on apps that support custom fonts. Thank you again for clarifying my mistake.

Won’t import fonts at iOS 16.2
I downloaded this app to install fonts into my GoodNotes app. Everything goes well until the part where you’re supposed to do the final steps in the General settings. The ‘profile’ doesn’t show up, nor does it show up at the “VPN & Device Management.”

One problem
The app managed to support the font I designed on Calligrapher but when I installed it it wouldn’t let me use it. Also when I tried to copy it from notebook on the app it wouldn’t let it keep the font.
That is my only problem with the app.

Bloated and privacy invasive
The app is absolutely going downhill with recent updates, introducing a lot of bloat like featured fonts. The tab interface is totally cramped with 7 tabs! The screenshots in the store are still not up to date to reflect this change after months.
The privacy section is also a nightmare. Why is a font app tracking like the big evils?

Not a native solution
This app allows you to add any font you want, such as from google font. That’s great, but to instal them is a pain. iFont doesn’t support the iOS font installer introduced in iOS 13 — instead opting for a non standard method of installing a profile for each individual font. I hope there are plans to support the standard method? That would make it a 5* app.

Not very user friendly
I’m a full time graphic designer and I deal with fonts for most of my day. Unfortunately, this app is really hard to navigate and use. Once you download a font and tap on install, it asks you to go through several steps but even after following them the fonts won’t install. I’m sure I’m missing something, but it shouldn’t be that way and the UX should be clear and straightforward.

If you click on get fonts and go to google fonts, it doesn’t matter where you click, iFont doesn’t automatically import the font. It doesn’t matter where you tap on the google font page, nothing happens. This app is perfect value for money!

Simple and efficient
Works! I needed a barcode font in excel for iPhone. I emailed the ttf file to myself, opened the font with iFont and imported it in minutes. Works with all MS apps so far. I am very happy with this app, thank you.

Excellent App.
On my old review, I mentioned how my font could not export properly. The developer has got back to me on that in less than 12 hours. After an email or two he explained what the issue was, plans to fix the issue ect. The customer service is astonishing and the only thing that needs cleaning up is the UI.
The app works well, it does its job, it has a thew cool features.

Title: Custom fonts not exporting properly.
So, I import a .ttf font into the app. The font is working, everything is fine. However when I export it as a profile the font becomes invalid despite it working in the app. The app described it as “A last ditch resort for the OS” and the font was just the usual one. The UI is a bit crowded aswell. If i get a response and the issue if fixed then it will get 4 stars (5 if the UI improves.) Thank you for reading :)
