What’s the point in alerts seriously?

I feel like people who have rated this good are either paid or developed the app.

Every time I set up an alert I don’t seem to get notified. What’s the point in having it. Use this to help get notified when betting but honestly no point.

Do not use SofaScore unless you want to see disgusting racist comments in the chat section of every match involving a black player. Have tried contacting the company but completely ignored, and the moderators refuse to ban racists. Quite simply, this is a racist company, and it’s disgusting to see in this day and age. Love this app and it’s always up to date and it’s so easy to use … and think it’s great that you can see how teams are doing and where they stand in leagues like the Afghanistan Isis Premiership …. or who won the Mongolian Sheepherders Cup…. But think there must be a glitch??? Because every time that I check my team “CHARLTON ATHLETIC” it says that they have lost!!!! it’s not just the best football results app.. it’s also the best sports results app out there… I gave it 5 stars but I would’ve gave it more if I could ❤️

Without doubt the best live football scores app around. Fast, accurate and easy to use. I use it all the time to get quick live scores. But I really wish you would fix the ‘false’ goal alerts which are later cancelled as it is really annoying. Also red cards don’t show up on any favourites list. Otherwise a superb app. Well done!

Very good but needs a little polish

Hi, this is a great app which covers many sports. Love the option of many team widgets to follow all the teams I love. The areas of improvement are only small and are as follows:

Cricket terminology on the scoring on the widgets needs changing by not adding up the 2 scores county and test cricket together and having them separately and adding runs to runs to win, over details and maybe batters that are at the crease and the bowler bowling. The widget score is needs a refresh button or needs to be more up to date. The notification detail on the wickets fallen ie. Batter out , caught by fielder and the bowler, might I suggest looking at ESPN cricinfo app for pointers .Lastly, the notification noise quite bland. Other than this well done.

Brilliant app and thoroughly enjoying it. The momentum is brilliant and something that many other top apps do not offer.

I've given the app one star because it's constantly re correcting itself. It goes way too soon with alerts such as an offside goal and then re corrects itself. That is a very poor UX.

Good app, but battery usage high

This is a great app for providing immediate score updates, but not happy with battery usage. I mostly use it for tennis scores, but ‘watching’ a 3 set match uses about half the battery of my iphone12. I’m guessing this is mostly down to the flashing ads that are a permanent feature.

Almost 5 star

Tried a few different apps but this is by far the best for customisation and clean simple layout for multiple sports. The only thing missing for me is a live table update for the Scottish premiership football league. This is my Default league and it’s frustrating it missing as it seems ever other league has it even the Scottish championship. Get that sorted and then it would be a 5*

Great app but...

Firstly want to say i love this app and it is my go to sports application. But recently in the premier league it has been showing line ups using incorrect player positions and formations. I don’t know how these get updated, whether it is manual or automatic, but for example todays Everton vs Newcastle match shows Ryan Fraser as a striker and Callum Wilson on the wing, which is obviously incorrect. Hopefully this can be fixed and it is not the worst thing in the world, but it can be abit annoying

App crashing and having an ads-free experience

Easily the best sports app on the Apple Store. It has all the major sports all combined into one app. It has almost everything you need as a sports fan and it is almost faultless in functionality. However, I’ve got two major concerns about the app:

1. The app crashes every time you view and scroll down to find info about some of the footballers (past and present) or other football personalities and maybe even other sports personalities that I haven’t come across along with the app crashing.

2. This might be an ask, but please make the app completely ads-free.

These two major concerns could be the ultimate decisive decider in making the app the no.1 sports app on the store.

With these two major concerns to be looked into and rectified, I would easily change my rating to a full 5-star as it’ll deserve such a rating. Please, please consider my review and act on them. I’ll be very appreciative of that.

I’ve tried many sports apps since more than 6 years ago and SofaScore is the best by far. It is so customisable and has a lot of information that others don’t. Despite that, there’s no live information of many ITF games where in other apps such as Livescore there’s.

I love everything about this easy-to-use, in depth app that covers pretty much every sport.

However, I would love to see a ranking system for each match (e.g. in football it shows clearly who got the most passes/most interceptions in a match). This would really take the app to a whole new level.

Great application, but...

I have used this application for at least 2-3 years on my mini IPad and not only that it worked perfectly but I have found all the information I wanted regarding matches, mostly football which I'm interested in, but also other sports (e.g. handball, hockey, NFL, tennis, etc.), players, statistics, for all this things I would have given 5 stars. But, for some reason it didn't work in the last couple of months, I'm assuming it's probably a new update and it doesn't even open anymore since, and now it says that it's not compatible with my IPad !!! For this reason I'm only giving 1 star. Hope the developers could reconsider this.

Don’t let the ranking put you off!

At the time of writing this was ranked a lowly 134th in Sports. It’s worthy of a top 5 place! The other reviews don’t lie. It’s a very slick yet extensive app with great information and brilliant coverage on live games, even with the lower leagues. It has statistics for individual players, a link to live goals and highlights and is very reliable in terms of notifications. Adverts don’t get in the way and overall it’s everything you could want as a fan of sports. Tennis, volleyball, handball, American football, rugby, darts and even water polo! The list goes on. Clearly a lot of work has gone into the design and updating of SofaScore and as a football fan this is my app of choice!

Would recommend

I first got this app when I started using Football Index to help keep a better track of stats for players I hold, and to get updates of when they start games, score etc. I don’t however use it for keeping track of teams and live score lines as I have a different app for that which works better for me. Slight glitch

Brilliant app with lots of good features, all sport in one place - you literally will not need another sport app. One small problem when you go on some players bios the the app immediately cuts out. Don’t know if this is a glitch or just something that SofaScore has added on purpose. Still would rate 5 stars.

It’s ok

I love this app but I wish I could get all the score and updates for my team whilst getting just the final score for the rest of the league. Instead I have to get every try and every conversion for every single match in the league when I only want the final scores for the majority and the detailed updates for my team. If this was possible it would definitely get 5 stars but as it is it gets rather annoying with all the notifications going off!

Had a different football app for years and thought would never change from that one. Downloaded this one for other sports scores and couldn’t believe how good it is. Even the football scores are better than my last one which has lead to it being deleted. That would have been unthinkable last week. Great work guys.

Selective notifications

I live the app, it is brilliant. All the stats and game information are amazing, maybe even better if there are that kind of stats for teams in lower divisions, but still amazing.

However, one particular thing that annoys me is that for games to appear on the home screen you need to follow leagues or teams. But if you follow them you automatically get notifications. It would be so much better if we could have the option of following a league/team without getting notifications.

I’ve tried so many live score apps and every time I come back to SofaScore! It’s the best out there by a country mile. You get notifications before the ball has hit the back of the net! Also covers a huge range of other sports with the same amount of quickness. Constantly updating as well to make sure you get the ultimate experience.

Pinned Leagues

Why do the pinned leagues keep on resetting back to normal settings. It doesn’t recognise my choices for long. I choose the leagues I want to remove from auto setting. A day or 2 later those other leagues I don’t want come back to the pinned leagues. Annoying

I do social media for a sports bar and as such have to find out all the dates and times etc. For different matches and this makes it so much easier just being able to find them all in one place, the only thing that would make it better is if it said which matches were televised and what channel they were being played on

I would go as far as saying it’s nearly perfect apart from one little detail,notifications of goals in football are far to quick(which is great) but more often than not,the goals turn out to be disallowed,so i would suggest just waiting a few seconds until the goal it’s absolutely confirmed and then notify us.

Amazing app with everything we need the only bad think I have to report is the players score after the games.

Messi and Neymar they are always over score if you compare with others players....

Football lower leagues

I personally love this app so much it’s very handy however for football in the lower leagues it doesn’t show e.g. possession and shots etc unlike the premier league for example. Therefore it’s slightly annoying as if I’m not at the match I can’t see what team is playing better on the day. On the other hand this app is amazing from every sport and I really love the idea. More great things but couldn’t have the time to list the rest due to how many there are.

Perfect for football fans

This app is extremely useful with all the statistics you could possibly need. It gives you instant score updates that are rarely wrong.

My only problem is that i am a huge rugby league fan and if you are looking for in depth information on matches this is not the app for you. It doesn't always give scorers even for the biggest matches and there are very little statistics.

If just looking for football this is the app for you. So useful.
