Fly Fishing Simulator HD brings sharper graphics, custom flies and all new fishing locations to the highly popular Fly Fishing Simulator This is a first-person, photographic simulation of the sport of fly fishing. This fishing game features:

- Fly tying feature, letting you create your own fly patterns

- Start with some basic gear, then unlock more rods, leaders and flies by catching fish

- More than 160 fly patterns including modern and classic dry flies, nymphs, streamers, terrestrials and more

- Hatch check feature lets you examine insects and other food items the fish may be feeding on

- A wide variety of realistic prey to match including mayflies, caddis flies, stoneflies, nymphs, midges, crayfish, etc

- Various species of trout, plus steelhead, bass and panfish

- A virtual fishing guide offering advice on casting, fly selection and more

- A variety of rods and leaders

- A great collection of photos shows you the fish you catch

- Realistic feeding patterns and dry fly action

- Strike indicators and split shot for subsurface fishing with nymphs, streamers, etc.

The app includes the practice pond and six fishing sites on one trout stream.

Over 200 rivers are available, each including 6 more fishing sites. You can purchase some rivers individually, in packs, or all with a single purchase of the Complete Package. FANTASTIC!

I’m an avid fly fisher and an app developer, so I know how much effort must have gone into this game and I have to say, after days of searching for an adequate fishing simulator for lockdown, I have found it.

I had the old version but I wasn’t prepared to purchase new rivers and lakes and I eventually got bored of the free ones. I love the fact that in this new version you can tie flies and study insects. Most anglers will know that there is much more to fishing than just casting and reeling in, and this game certainly backs that up. The degree of professionalism is brilliant and I like how you have to actually work for your fish instead of just hoisting out of the water like in most fishing sims.

My hat goes off to the devs who created this masterpiece. THANK YOU!

Great fly fishing app

Have only played on this for a few hours. The sense and feel in the game play is very much like the real thing. This is especially true when you cast and play a fish. The only one thing I can think would enhance play would be to have some vibration on your phone or iPad when a fish is on the line. I am no IT expert but I would have thought this might be an easy thing to add to enhance the in play enjoyment.

Further to my last post above I have now found that my fish total lengths are not adding to my overall catch length and the total just remains the same which is really disappointing

How to enable free rivers by adds

Breathtaking...........BUT there’s a but.....

Paul, this is phenomenal.

I’m an obsessive angler but know nothing about IT.

Despite the latter, it’s obvious to me the thousands of hours of work and love you’ve put into your creation.

I’ve done little else for days except go to the loo - I’ve had cauda equina/back surgery so can’t do the real thing for a bit.

The BUT is the crashing issue.

It’s like somebody sneaking up behind you with a pair of scissors and snipping your line.

It actually ruins the game and makes me reluctant to keep playing.

This is something really special - please make it perfect !

Not bad at all.

Excellent wee sim. Sounds and water effects are really nice. Fly selection grows as you fish, plus you can make your own creation and see how well (or not) it fishes.

Only given 4 stars though as you can’t strip the line! Would be nice if you could to save you having to reel in and spool out line every cast. Makes me think that stripping the line isn’t included in the sim, but I do it anyway. Minor issue but would make the sim much better.

Would also be nice if you could add some European rivers or lochs. I know you travel the states but you should pop over to Scotland for a few days and get some new footage. Lovely waters here 🙂

Other than that I love it. Had to give up fly fishing due to suffering from lateral epicondylitis (or tennis elbow as it’s better known) but this sim helps bring back good memories. Excellent work sir. Bring on Europe!

Great game because i am a fishing addict and even have my name in the record books but if you could ad in more rivers for free that would be amazing because when ever I try to get more rivers it just says " try later when there is more internet" so please could you change it please? 🎣🦈
