Great app
Exactly the app I was looking for. Living in the tropics I try to live by the solar angle. Getting outdoors in the morning and retreating indoors when the sun gets too high, then emerging again when the sun drops below a certain angle again. Very important. This app makes it easy. 10/10.

Great free app
As a volunteer bat care worker it’s invaluable to know exact sunset times for a few days in a row. This app does what I need it to for free.
As someone who hates the dark, dreary short days of winter I love scrolling through the days and seeing the length of days increasing. Thank you for this ap.

Awesome app
This is my favourite kind of app. App that does one thing, and does that thing perfectly. The design is excellent, it's super simple and intuitive. It improves my life on a daily basis. Plus, the developer is very helpful and personable.

An essential mood enhancing app
On cloudy days it is nice to know where the sun is, just in case there is a break and it can shine through. This app is really accurate and helpful when you are out and about, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Scroll forward in time
You used to be able to scroll the wheel to see the future sunset times, but after an update by yourself or now with ios18, this is not possible. Can you please fix this? Otherwise a great app.

Outstanding app in its field
I’m a press photographer and occasionally do weather pictures such as sunrises - the top down map and time wheels make it the simplest app to show me where to stand and at what time to get a sunrise - main culprits are castle rising in Norfolk and Ely cathedral . It really does make it simple to know where the sun will at what time.

This particular option on the watch stops working after a while and needs to be reset in order to work again, which is annoying really.

Complication Disappears
Cool app but have persisted with a problem for sometime now.
Every day the complication on my Apple Watch 5 disappears from the watch face. This has been an ongoing issue for around a year. Each time they release an update, I’m convinced it will resolve this but never does.
I have repeatedly to report the problem but can’t find any way to do so, hence this poor review.
If they could find some way to fix this long term bug, or provide an area to report any issues, this would receive 5 stars. Instead, 1 will have to do.

Map function useless
Paid for the month to test it. Glad I did and didn’t pay more. The map function is useless. It has lines all over it so you can’t see it- presumably the direction of light but is so thick you can’t actually see the map below! You can’t zoom in as it just zooms back out again and is of such poor quality visibly its pointless . Might as well remove it from the app. Could have been great as this function would have been great if worked. Nice looking UI buts whats the point of that if the app doesn’t function as it should! Style over function.

Avoid this app
I purchased this app a few days ago and based on the reviews jumped straight in and purchased the full version. What a waste of money. I have tried every way to get the compass and AR features to work and they don’t. The map view is unusable as it is obscured by coloured line’s and is such low resolution no locations can be recognised. Whenever the map is moved or rotated the sun stays in the same place regardless of any settings are selected. The same goes for the AR mode, the sun is completely in the wrong direction and any dates that are displayed are incorrect even if you have set the correct date in the settings. If apple or the developer would like to offer me a refund I would have no hesitation in taking it. So please don’t be like me and waste your money.

Great app
I really like this app, I installed it when my old sunrise/sunset app was no longer supported and I’ve bought the lifetime option. The solar wheel visualisation is very intuitive. My only criticism is that the map view seems a bit broken. I can’t get it to zoom consistently on an iPhone 13 and the arrows showing the direction of the lighting are too intrusive.

Apple Watch complications don’t update/sync. Removed as it was telling me the wrong information. Was good until that happened.

Nice very accurate app
Loving this I do sunrise and sunset photography and this is very very useful to plan my sleep and to what time to set my alarm I pretty much use it all the time.

Watch complication broken
Complication didn’t always honour the choices of which solar events to include.
Now broken altogether and just says First Light 04:25 all day.
Very pretty app though and when complication fixed will be 5 stars.

Excellent app
I received an error message when using the AR sun path function. The developer was quick to respond with the following message: “Sorry you had a bit of trouble with the AR functionality. This error occurs if the system compass does not have access to your location. Please go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Settings and make sure compass calibration is turned on. "
This fixed the problem. Excellent app and amazing customer service.

Great app, but high battery usage
This is a stunning app: really functional and visually impressive. One thing however is that it seems to use battery quite a lot. Over 10mins the app used 24% battery, which seems a bit high as compared to other apps. If this can be optimised it will be a 5/5 app!

The iPhone app is great, but the watch compilation needs to have the work done on it. Why is “stadte” used and “here” and then on next the former plus Buckingham.

Great app
I really like this app. It’s got a lot of the information I need for planning trips and photography shoots in one place without the clutter of some of my photography specific apps. Great service from the app developer who responded to my email query the same day and released an update with what I’d requested within days. Very reasonably priced pro upgrade as well. Excellent stuff!
