TERRIBLE APP AND TERRIBLE SERVICE
First off you have to pay money to access some cards and they gladly take it. But you have to be playing the game 24/7 or else (like me, a person who spent a lot of time on the app and money) you will get banned if you don’t play every day. I was working so I couldn’t accept a trade and without contacting me they banned me so you try and get in touch and they constantly ignore you and ignore you till you give up. The creators and support of this app clearly don’t care for their players and their lives

VIP rewards are dismal
I spent over £200 and got the 2 lowest ranking vip cards. Spent £10 on Disney Topps and got several SR’s and in game currency. Topps Marvel have either got their system wrong or are taking us for fools. You decide.

Would be great if it didn’t crash
It doesn’t even load anymore, gets to 80% then just shuts off back to my home screen. Tried reinstalling it, resetting my phone etc and no joy. Shame as I used to be on it every day. Now I may as well just uninstall it as I can’t get into the app at all.

Can be frustrating
Trading is the main way to finish your sets, otherwise you get constant duplications by buying packs, but trading is the most frustrating part of this app because it’s a guessing game. People will post about what they want, you offer what they want and then decline the trade. Such a waste of time.
It’s also worse for new users. I’m a new user and there are so many cards and sets that I’d like, but I can’t have them because I joined after they sold out and users won’t trade them away.
Otherwise the app is enjoyable. Would love to see a J Scott Campbell set released.

Game started off fun and fresh but quickly realised to achieve any real epic card or super rare set you have to buy diamonds. Fair enough you need to make your money but now you have taken the super rares from the NCB weekly sets and coins won’t get you a gold cover comic book card!! I loved collecting those and trading but now they are exclusive for diamond buyers only!? Also and this is my biggest problem with the game is the ratio 1:8 chance of a rare card 1:75 for a super rare card.... these stats don’t reflect the reality that it’s more like 1:120 super rare and 1:80 rare!! Address these issues and earn the 5 star rating I want to give you

Marvel collect
This used to be fun and most cards used to be acquirable, even when they were limited but the novelty wore off and they just started coming out with multiple variants of cards with images they’ve used numerous times already at ridiculous odds. Since January 2021, they have been focused more and more on money because there is at least 1 paywall set a week, sometimes even 2-3 and they are ridiculous odds too plus now they have also ruined their best sets, Original Artwork, Inked and Topps Now. First with the fusion with inked which makes you spend more, then adding a rubbish variant to OA and turning it into a tilt at much higher odds. Finally with Topps Now which used to be Gold #1s and special issues and the rest in silvers which they made worse by putting all cards in both variants which makes people spend more and now making the gold ones paywall only which means that the only way you will get one Now is by spending money. I haven’t even mentioned an “event” they are running right now. Events are supposed to encourage a more healthy community but when the only way you’re really going to get the cards is by spending over $2000. And that’s just for 11 cards in 6 variants. $2000 for 11 cards that are not even technically yours and that you can’t really do anything with as they’re not physical and they wonder why the community is as hostile as it is and why people create alt accounts. Do not download this app unless you have more money than sense as you’ll find yourself either spending more than you ever thought you would, as it IS essentially gambling, or you’ll not enjoy the app because most good cards will be out of your reach.

It should be fun......but
Like many others have said this is an app that should be fun but it’s far more infuriating instead. It’s purely focused on getting you to part with real money to collect.....well....something you can’t actually take with you. The card pack odds are atrocious which I don’t believe is a fault in the app but more a deliberate ploy to get folk to have to buy diamonds to complete a set.
Trading has its own problems with big collectors asking for heaven and earth sometimes for simple card trades. It’s a trading app so why isn’t there bigger and better rewards for actually trading to discourage huge hoarding.
I wouldn’t start playing this app now if I knew now what I did back in 2019 and my time on it decreases every month.
Marvel...or Disney.....you’ve really made this app tiresome. We all watch your movies so stop asking us for more money.

I’ve been playing this game for a while now. The game constantly crashes when looking few my cards I’ve collected. And when you try to trade with other people it also crashes. Also when you are buying cards with your coins.And when you are collecting cards and trying to get a set 95% of the time your going to get the same cards you don’t need. And it’s very frustrating and needs to be sorted. I don’t rate this game at all. To be frank with you. I wouldn’t waste your time and effort on this game. I have rated this game a 1 star only because it’s the lowest rating I could give. But I wouldn’t even give it a star. Because this game not worth a star in my eyes. Shocking!!!

I love this game but unfortunately there are issues that need to be fixed!!
It’s super hard to achieve the higher grade cards without money. Been playing a while now and nearly at a decent level but still no Epics and only a handful of super rare.
The odds are not accurate at all: example 1:15 chance of said card.... well I paid for 47 cards and still didn’t get a card required.
The trade rating isn’t fair either and gives the higher ranked players the opportunity to bully with the threat of one star which then scares others away from trading
BIGGEST problem now thou is the app keeps crashing after load up and I can’t even access the app at all now!! With no offer of a solution and fix! Very disappointing!! What could be an epic game is let down by minor fixable issues! Get on it developers and address the issues

Fun app but beware battery drain
A fine app in principle, and I had fun collecting cards for my favourite characters. Excellent UI, and an enjoyable experience, except... horrendous battery drain when it's open. Same with its Star Wars counterpart. I see no reason why this should be happening with an app that's largely static - this isn't some resource intensive 3D game. Other users have reported the same problem. As a result I've reductantly uninstalled. Please look into it, devs, as I'd like to return if this problem was addressed

Love the app, but as always to be a great collector you need an awesome amount of money. Yes there are some give aways but would be nice if some of the challenges you could earn diamonds. If you love marvel it’s a great game to collect cards and trade. Not a fan of the spending money to get better packs but it’s optional of course. Phone gets extremely hot and crashes your phone sometimes but overall really enjoyable.

Great app, 3 features are missing
I absolutely love this app, but it would be amazing if you could buy players’ cards from them with in game currency, and get notifications when new trades come through. I believe that buying cards would allow new players to gather cards and complete sets without wasting coins on packs and getting dupe after dupe. I understand that this is a fun part of the game but I also would like a market for pulled cards.
A levelling system would also be fun, with rewards as you collect more and more cards and increase the amount of cards you have in your collection. New cards could also give xp depending on rarity. This would add extra goals for players as well as completing sets.

Don’t buy diamonds
If you like to collect, then this is quite a good game.
However, my advice would be NEVER buy diamonds. You may feel cheated.
For example, if you buy a pack with a number guaranteed rare items, you run the risk that you will get duplicates in the same pack.
When it comes to the coins that you collect in the game that’s not that big an issue, as they are free cards. But when you pay then you should not expect duplicates in the same pack.
I raised this with Topps and got brushed away with a ‘we’ll forward the feedback on’

Very frustrating
I love collecting on this app but in the past month or so, all I can see are messed up content drops , technical issues , excuses, expensive cards and nothing being done about it. New enhancements such as fusion made appear to have been signed off and deployed without checking with the players. Odds are poor and costs to buy diamonds are consistently escalating. I fear this is a greed platform now and may continue to try and make money rather then give players what they want

The app keeps getting upgraded and the latest upgrade is awful. The fusion aspect of the app is horrid. I claim a card and it sends be straight back to the top of the screen to only have to scroll all the way back down again to claim another card. I won’t be using it that aspect anymore. A Frustrating Mess; Stay Away!
The app started off pretty fun, it appealed to the collector & marvel fan in me. When I started playing the app the game had flaws but they didn’t seriously effect the point of the game (to collect) all sets that were for sale were somewhat accessible either through the in game primary currency (Coins) or the premium currency (Diamonds) and rewards were given out for completing the sets on time, the collect them all feeling really kept me going! However it’s become extreme apparent over the last 3 months that the team that is responsible for the game & the company topps itself is far more concerned with taking your money as opposed to delivering an appealing and functioning app! Most sets are locked behind a diamond paywall completely inaccessible without spending real money (which does effect the purpose of the game; to collect) the game itself barely functions anymore, often crashing during trades, pack openings & claiming the mystery box (seriously I have been able to claim a mystery box for over a month) as it stands this app is a disgrace to the Marvel brand and proves that big companies will exploit the love a fan base has for a certain property. I for one recommend that any person considering downloading the app not even bother. Unless you want to waste extreme amounts of money on the premium currency It’s a waste of your time and even then you still have to deal with the flawed and often unusable app.

The app overall is good, the problem is the player greed, there are decent traders in there if you stick around you get to find them. Personally i put all the “bad” traders on my ignore list, if most users did the same it would rid us of the ones that ruin it for others.

This games player base is completely toxic, it’s nearly impossible to make any trades as all the players are greedy. If you don’t pull the card you want from a pack you can expect to have to overpay for it. Customer service is absolutely useless, after multiple complaints logged and emails sent nothing is done, lucky to even get a response. Most of these topps collection card games are toxic but this is by far the worst, don’t bother with it

Great for Collectors
This is a fun app that has tons of appeal and addictive qualities. If you are into collecting, give it a burn. You won’t be disappointed.
There are a few niggles with how fairly trades play out but that is mainly to higher tier players trying to strangle out those who don’t know the rules. Don’t fall for their trap.
To improve the app... I say placing a restriction on the number of a particular card a player can have. It would balance out the playing field a bit better. Too many hoarders who like I stated try to strangle out lower tier players.
Another option to consider, is having a two layered trading post. One would be too actually communicate with each other prior to a trade is done to understand better what they are looking for. As it stands right now, it’s a guessing game and frustrating at times.
Thirdly and lastly, an option to either stick with digital cards or physical. There are a lot in my personal collection I would love to have in my hand. Charge for the Postage and Packaging and impose a minimum limit, I’m sure I’m not the only one who would love this feature.
Other than that... keep up the hard work Topps. Looking forward in seeing what’s in store.

Amazing game
This is a fantastic game!! It features a wide range of characters ranging from main-stream to obscure and you can choose to collect either comic or film characters. It is full of a nice community and is a greatly rewarding experience. The only way to make it better is to give players more options for getting more coins without having to use real money. Like mini games!
