Bad online service
I ordered two sets and asked for them to be gift wrapped. This was an utter waste of money as the box that it came in was ripped at the corners and the bag they gave to put the other box in was folded and really not presentable as a gift bag. I have written and complained and not even had an acknowledgment. Needless to say to say I won’t use tps again in a hurry. Don’t waste money on gift wrapping.

RRP IS A LIE
The RRP was never as high as you are making out. It is false advertising and you can get into serious trouble for these deceptive practices. The Black Friday offers are the same price as the items have always been. In fact the ‘offers’ are actually higher than you could buy them for in the past. There’s no deals here. Just a bunch of false claims. AVOID!

Wonderful Women in Watford
Shopping in Watford yesterday ( Fri ) I called in to find out about the new Chanel aftershave as I’ve virtually run out of Chanel Blu. The young lady was so very helpful & I tried a tester on my arm & paper tester . She then enquired if I had a Card for points acquisition. I didn’t so she produced one immediately. Please forward my thanks to this very polite young lady . I intend to purchase the 100Mil bottle as it will be a combination of Christmas present and Birthday present early January . Fake 1 million Elixir Rabanne
I’ve been a fan of 1 million Elixir for a couple of years now.
However, I bought my last 200ml bottle from the Perfume shop in Preston and I was really disappointed.
It’s the same bottle, same scent but it only lasts for about 15-20 minutes - completely unlike the previous bottles.
£118 felt like a total waste.
I still have the bottle, the content and the receipt, I’m seriously considering sending it to the company that makes it for further investigation.

I’m really disappointed. I’ve been trying to place my order for collection at The Perfume Shop in Harrow, but the app keeps freezing on the payment page and won’t let me complete my purchase. I had rewards applied to my shopping bag, but when I tried to pay, it wouldn’t go through. Later, my rewards disappeared, which is incredibly frustrating. Now I’ve lost my rewards altogether, and I’ve been trying to place this order for over a week multiple times with no success.

1 problem after another
Item ordered, showing 30 min click and collect….still showing as unavailable more than 24hrs later. Only after telephoning the store I found it it had been available for collection all along.
No rewards added to account.
Despite my better judgement after this, I looked to purchase 3 gift sets in the app…no discount added to 2 of the 3 gift sets despite being eligible. If any were added to my basket on their own it gave the correct discount but any further items added didn’t show discounts.
This is all after having an awful experience previously when an item was delivered to the wrong address and I was accused of having the item despite providing indisputable proof that I did not…..made to feel like a criminal and given ZERO help to resolve the issue. (Hence attempting to use click and collect this time)
LESSON NOW LEARNED…TPS should be ashamed to call themselves a “business”

What a disappointment after ordering the perfume for £94 plus delivery nearly £100 spent I paid for personalised ribbon! I buy a lot of aftershaves and before I go too far into my collection I was wanting to try some samples. There is a section saying samples and try me but no easy navigation to access these “samples” would be happy to pay £4/5 to try a 1.5 ml sample before I pay over £100 on the product. Will stick with boots as they actually give you samples in store 🤷🏻♂️

Possibly the worst, and most frustrating app I’ve ever used
I downloaded this app as I saw a good deal online and thought it would be easier through the app. I have spent more than 40 minutes and three times trying to add my address which actually came up on the screen and then kept saying my address was wrong. Then when I found somehow how to get through it. It never kept any of my details so then had to redo the VIP again then with the same problem got so frustrated in the end, I gave up wasn’t worth the discount, rather go into the shop and pay full price. As I was going slightly mad at the end.

App not working properly, unable to open the shopping basket to complete sale. Customer service not helpful, customer service number on the app not working. Why ask people to use the app instead of website when you know it’s not working properly. I have reinstalled the app, rebooted my phone but the ‘Try again’ message still showing together with the incorrect customer service number. The FAQ does not answer all questions. The robot or staff on the chat not helpful.

The iPad desktop icon is just a default image and not The Perfume Store icon ( shown ok on iPhone ). It’s easy to miss the icon when trying to place an order using an iPad.

Too many negative comments on here, hot sure why. TPS always have great service standards in store and online! The points add up totals after purchase, just give it time to refresh and you’ll see it! Terrible shop
I have had the worst experience buying products from here. The app is very slow and freezes very often. When I went to return a product I was told that the refund would be issued within 5-7 working days. This was 26 days ago and there is still no sign of the refund. If you can avoid this shop completely it is absolutely terrible

Very easy to navigate around the app and find what you want. The visual search feature is pretty cool. Can find my favourite scent super quick. Also if I need to go to one of the stores, The Perfume Shop Rewards Card is stored on the app and the store staff can just scan it. Simples!

Good app but......
This is a really good app, but the only flaw I have in it is when you have added it to your wallet it doesn’t give you your points total, so you have to go into the app itself.
I know it’s not a biggie, but a quick double tap and your home button is better than having to unlock phone then go into the app.
Maybe I’m just looking too much into finding a fault lol 🤷🏻♂️

Amazing shop - subpar app
This app is kind of bad, and actually painful to use. The heart button doesn’t work, there’s no search feature or even search filters to search by popularity or price and entire sections that are just a slightly offset website. I’m sure you can do better than this?

I buy A LOT of fragrance and this app is easy to use and makes scanning my reward card in store a breeze. My phone is always more accessible than my wallet!
I placed an online order through the app last week and as it keeps you signed in, there’s no re-entering address details or remembering my password etc and the points got added to my balance automatically.
So far... no grumbles! Download it!
