Storm Radar is always very accurate and reliable. Easy to use and the alerts are great and usually accurate within minutes of rainfall due. I don’t use anything else when it comes to knowing how the the weather is going to be.

Tracks bad weather which maybe in your path fairly accurately and updates very quickly when things change because as with all weather systems it’s hard to predict exactly the routes they are gonna take but this is definitely my first port of call. Thanks…..

Brilliant weather app we use it everywhere we go, you can sort out the weather forecast yourself instead of listing or watching Television. I first downloaded this app a few years ago when we were having a storm. I have since upgraded as I love it so much. It’s great to be able to see storms/rain/snow coming in. Also really handy to have notifications turned on. I then get a few minutes notice to get washing in off the line before it rains. I’ve warmed my neighbours before that it was about to rain, even though it didn’t look like it would. It’s very accurate. I have also recommended the app to family and friends

This app used to be great when you could see the incoming weather for a couple of hours ahead, but now that’s locked behind a paywall and you an only see past data. Absolutely pointless because I already know whether it rained an hour ago.
I don’t object to paying via ads or a one-off fee, but I’m not a fan of subscriptions, and it’s too expensive for the limited information on offer. Will be uninstalling.

In the past I would have rated this app an easy 5 but suddenly some of the features that I’ve been using for years are locked under a ‘GO PREMIUM’ banner.
Ok so we all understand that sometimes these things have to be funded but there’s not even mention of this in the app updates. Shame on you for making my favourite weather app as useful as a chocolate coffee pot.

Been using this app for 5 years now and uninstalling today due to recent update not letting you do anything you used to be able to do unless you paid. If it was a one time payment I’d consider it but I’m not paying monthly. Real shame considering how good the app was. New update has rendered the app useless compared to other apps you can get. Real let down by the developers.

Beware they’ve started charging!
I’ve had this app for a few years and found it very useful to to see the ‘predictive’ rain feature. This shows your location on the map and runs a prediction of how they think the rain clouds will move over your area in the next few hours. Generally very accurate too. But now they want to charge for this feature which sort of makes it useless as it now only shows what has passed and what the weather’s doing now. I can look out the window and see for myself.

Was my go to wx app, now deleted
This used to be a great app, could see the radar for a few hours in advance and it was usually spot on. Now they charge to see any future weather, only the previous two hours is free. I don’t need to know what the wx was like the last two hours, I watched it from my window.
Sadly another app ruined by greedy developers as it’s completely useless now.

Really comprehensive with features that can be tailored to give the level detail information needed.
It also gives you a forecast that anticipates the approximate time when the rain and it’s intensity will most likely get to your location.
This give you heads up on the kind of measures you need to take in order to mitigate the possible negative effects of the rain. 👍🏽

Very Useful App
We have a dog so this app is particularly useful. It tells where the weather front is and when it should pass over. It makes it much easier to decide whether to head out in the rain or wait a while.

Even in the United Kingdom with some features not supported, this is still a superb app! I’m very often telling my parents to get the washing off the lines before rain is due and it’s always correct.
One issue I might say is the predictive map tends to over-predict rain after 6+ hours. Do not let that deter you though!

Great for judging the best time to walk the dogs!
Use it all the time to see when there is a window for rain-free dog walking. Pretty much always accurate. More reliable for short term predictions than other apps.

I live in the north west of the UK where the weather can be extremely variable, wet and unpredictable. I use Storm Radar before my walks and find it to be surprisingly accurate at predicting the timing of rainfall, even for walking in north Wales.

My favourite App
I run an outdoor Leisure business in Cornwall, and I’ve been using this app for a few years now. I’ve found it to be very accurate and really helps us with our planning, even down to hours and minutes on when we can open or close. Saves us money and helps our customers. Still think this is the best weather radar app out of the other free ones I’ve seen and tried.

Reliable advance warning
I regularly use Storm Radar as it gives me reliable advance warning of weather changes. Seeing approaching rain etc allows me to time outdoor work and avoid getting wet.

Subscription lock
Used to be a great app, my go-to for weather, but now a lot of features are locked behind a pay wall, and an overpriced one at that. Used to be free with all features but they realised they can make money so ruined the app by taking away a chunk of its functionalityEven full screen mode is subscription only so i have these horrid white bars on top and bottom of screen. I would pay £2.99 for no ads etc, but a monthly fee for a weather app is ridiculous.

Was good until last update
Was an excellent and pretty accurate app before a recent update that now doesn’t open on your current location. Also update switch off the notifications and changed all the settings. It was fine before they buggered it up. 😬

My Favourite Weather app with the Best Radar.
I’ve tried most weather apps but I use this the most. The radar is the best of all the apps I’ve tried and gives a clear view of current and upcoming weather conditions. The app crams a lot of detailed and up to date information into the weather view. Well done. Highly recommended.

Not as good as the original
No upper/ground level wind arrows, pressure lines gone, layout and readability of the forecast is a mess. The hours view has no date reference. The second star is for the weather radar which is the only thing this app is good for now. Bring back the original. That's the one I paid for.
Update: No improvements from developers, so it's getting deleted. For those missing the original features check out the 'Windy' app. It much better

Useful ......but !
This started off as a great app, it was useful to track the storms and also see other things (earthquakes, thunderstorms etc ) but lately it’s been majorly glitchy. Not sure it’s just an iPhone thing or something general.
It’s just taken me 8 attempts to open it and get the storm names up. When I eventually got the storm names up and clicked a storm name, everything vanished and I got left with an empty screen.
I though the last update fixed it and it did for all of a few days but it seems even worse now :(
Also perhaps being able to track UK storms would also be nice ?
When it’s less glitchy I shall amend my rating with more stars.
