Buggy app

App contains a lot of bugs:

- can’t open images people send me in support chat, can’t copy text from there

- every time I open the app, it freezes trying to establish secure connection. I have to kill and restart the app

- when I select Sell and amount on the primary screen, and then go to more detailed view with stop losses, it resets all my amounts and switches to Buy. Because of this poor UI you may end up buying a stock you wanted to buy (critical error!)

I hope the developers can fix those issues soon.

Great but could be better

Great interface, very clean and clear. Easy and simple to use. Polished interface (looks amazing).

An ok amount of assets to trade, certainty enough for a beginner/ intermediate trader

Could do with after hours and pre market trading - very good feature to have

A bit laggy - often price alerts will go off well after they were meant to and not change from one price alert to another ( the app would just freeze) - sometimes the chart will completely freeze so you’d have to restart the app (very annoying and inconvenient)

Overall great for beginners as it’s really simple to use and aesthetically polished.

The platform seems to have a reoccurring problem of not letting the user see open positions which has lead me to make large losses and made it hard to withdraw funds. Do not recommend! + communicating with support through WhatsApp is unreliable.

Stay Well Clear

I’ve been using the App for around two months now and had the first issue around 4 weeks ago. I had the app installed on two devices and enabled Hedging Mode to my shock this sync with my other device I lost just under £3000 I contacted Capital.com and offered and to my surprise/shock offered did not offer me a refund but offered me stocks at a reduced price I withdrew all of the money from my account within an 1 hour Capital.com and ensured me my money would be refunded and they did. The second time the app freezes if you leave on then re-enter I.e. showing a blank none flashing stock screen I opened this up and it closed my positions losing me £3800 I proved the app glitches using screen record Capital.com refused a refund saying I closed the positions myself my advise is to stay well clear as the software still needs refining and is a major risk I have screen shoots and screen records of the whole events.

Fix the deal tickets!

Overall, this is a nice trading app. Does a good job of integrating news and analysis with portfolio and watch lists. But it has too many bugs in the deal ticket. Setting a stop by amount requires using the arrows - can’t do it with a keypad. So it’s laborious and inefficient. Trades can’t be made because the buy/sell buttons are disarmed. Have to set and remove SL or TP just to arm the button. Overall, the UI is unresponsive. Doesn’t feel well built or tested. :-(

Failing to load a lot lately

Seems to fail to load thing a lot recently. Nothing a shutdown and re-open of the app doesn’t fix, bit when you’re in and out of the app a lot of times in a day, it gets repetitive to have to keep doing it.

A couple of weeks in

So I have been using the app now for a couple of weeks in conjunction with the website, and despite some of the negative reviews saying that this is a scam, I can assure you it’s not. Yes there are overnight fees which are minimal, but the company needs to make money some how. The maximum overnight fee I have paid so far is £0.09, I think that is a fair price. Granted it could be made a little bit clearer, but if you are going to start trading with real money, it might be worth investigating how the company itself is going to make money (that is what companies do).

So far I have only been trading with a couple of £ just to get into it.. that way if I loose, I’m not loosing my life’s savings. However despite loosing on some stocks I have overall gained... it’s not been much, but at least it is a profit.

If the developers do happen to read this review, id like to make them aware that sometimes the price to buy stock through the app is sometimes quite a bit higher than on the website (FSTE 100 in particular, when trading 0.1 stock) hence the 4 star.

So in conclusion, this is actually a really good app, but I would recommend buying your stock using the website and use the app to monitor them. Ignore the reviews saying that this is a scam, it’s not... they just didn’t use their brains before “gambling” with their real money. And if you aren’t prepared to lose a little bit, then your not ready to start trading.

Anyways, I hope this helps some people... and for those who say that the reviews are fake because people are using their real names... well mine is Ashton Redman, and this is an honest review.

Upon reflection

I had a recent issue with withdrawing funds from my account.

The issue was flagged to the support team and I can confidently say that the the support team were doing the best to resolve the issue. This gives me confidence in the platform as issues/bugs are likely to arise on any app on the App Store.

When money is involved, patience is always wearing thin on the users end.

I leave a 4 star review for now, to see if the issue arises again... I expect that there’s a good chance that it could happen again, but what would be good to see is:

1: Issue resolution time needs to be much faster

2: Ensuring that the user is kept up to date on the progress of issue

And finally you allow one tap to open trades, would also be good to see one tap to close trades.

I’ve been using this app for a week and it works well and it’s easy. I’ve cashed in a payment and the funds were received ok. Better than having virtual wallets in my opinion. Overnight fees are a couple of quid on each position but you can’t begrudge them anything or expect this app for free.

Not sure why the feedback isn’t better as it’s the best app I’ve found.

When ever do you see an app with perfect reviews from folks using their full name, perfect English and titles like: works for me, essential for me, very useful. Also notice they are all on the same day, just after the update. How convenient.

This has scam and dodgy written all over it. In hot times like this where inexperienced consumers think they can make a quick buck with bitcoin, companies like this take full advantage.

Absolute ripoff

They somehow forget to mention they have an ‘overnight fee’ and numerous admin fees that just deduct and deduct and deduct so no matter how much you grow and when you try to cash out they also have fees . It’s worse that a high street bank robber.

They then proceeded to delete the reviews and their reviews on their Facebook group are all staff members a their Marketing ups spam manager and his student friends.

I do hope you don’t fall for this and that there will be more honest reviews.
