Sign up email confirmation is broken
Downloaded this app to use with a new washing machine. You have to validate your account with a code, this has a timer on of 180 seconds, however the email with the code does not arrive within that time zone you can’t sign up. Really poor given that this is a technical requirement. 1 star, would give zero if it was an option.

Absolutely rubbish
Tried several times with our new yogurt maker. Finds the device but after attempting to pair, it just pops up with a message saying there was an error. Too frustrated to keep trying after many attempts on different devices - iPhone 13 with latest iOS, iPad mini.
I recently purchased an ARÇELİK yogurt maker with WiFi connectivity to the HomeWiz app. I'm sure I would have paid extra for a device with this facility over one that does not have WiFi. Looking at the HomeWiz website, obvious that they sell themselves as a generic provider of WiFi appliance control for various manufacturers - so this is a generic app. They are gatheting personal information from users after downloading the app only for users to discover the app doesn't work. Looking at reviews on the App Store I note others have had similar issues. I will definitely be raising this issue with ARÇELİK who are charging for a premium machine that otherwise works great other than for the part provided by HomeWhiz.
My advice to anyone buying a machine with WiFi connectivity, make sure you agree in writing with the seller that you reserve the right to return the machine if the WiFi functionality does not work.

All of a sudden, a few months ago the app keeps crashing. Randomly started, had multiple updates since and refuses to work. Awful.

Beko - buggy, no notifications.
Use this app for a Beko washing machine. Stops working often. Have to constantly unpair and repair the washing machine with limited success. Even when it works, it’s almost completely pointless as it’s not possible to set up notifications when a load is finished. Easier to just go to the machine and check.

Rootkit installed
I used this app for 6months with no issues. I upgraded to latest iPhone in November, still no issues, then February 2026 I updated the app and now I keep having a message saying my phone is a jailbreak or has a Rootkit installed - neither of which is true! Refuses to allow me to use the app now. I paid for a very expensive virus scanner/security suite and checked my phone to which no issues were found. I’ve had an expert look at my phone who said there is nothing wrong with my phone, “it’s just a dodgy app.” Really annoyed, don’t waste your time or effort as it was a complete hassle to link my appliance to the app in the first place. Also just a side note your ‘app support’ button doesn’t work!

Unable to add appliance to app via Bluetooth.
Have attempted to add my Beko washer to the app via Bluetooth, however app isn’t picking up the connecting although washer is in Bluetooth sync mode.
Furthermore, when using the app to ‘contact us’ I doesn’t allow me to submit, so therefore there’s no way to contact HomeWhiz for troubleshooting and you won’t be able to seek assistance if having issues.

OK app but odd English
It’s a Turkish company but I thought the translation to English would be better. I’ve set my region to United Kingdom and everything is in English except for the months are in Turkish when using the consumption menu and the currency is euros or dollars. Also some error messages are in Turkish.
The app does work fine but I’ve had to learn some Turkish to use it.

Complicated Setup
I’ve finally got it working. You have to press Remote Control button on the machine twice so that both the WiFi icon and Phone icon are displayed. Then you can control the machine using the App. I’m guessing this is a security feature but makes the App useless as you are already at the machine. Still, nice to keep an eye on my washing progress.

My experience with the HomeWhiz app has been poor. It’s just a load of rubbish. One of these apps where you have to guess how it works. User unfriendly. You may as well walk to the washing machine and just turn it on, press play and get in with your life instead of ******* around with a ****app.

Won’t accept product
App refuses to accept the product number which I know is correct. The contact form on the app refuses to send the contact form on their website refuses to send along with an error message from captch. So for me, the app is absolutely totally useless. Have reported a hot point that does not work with their machine.

Totalnie nieużyteczna rzecz. Problemy z aplikacją. Aplikacja sie nie uruchamia. Czasami sie dała uruchomić po zresetowaniu urządzenia mobilnego co wiązało sie z restartem kilka razy w tygodniu. Częsta utrata polaczenia z urządzeniem którym miała sterować. Po zmarnowaniu wielu dni na rozwiazanie problemu pozostaje przy programach prania i suszenia z panelu urządzenia a aplikację usunąłem.

Doesn't work for me
This seems a good idea - sometimes would be handy to switch on the Beko washing machine remotely - but it won't connect. Suspect there isn't enough money in a free app for this to be reliable yet.

Useless/Poss Data Grab - Avoid HomeWhiz
Followed the steps to register on the app, yet every single code they sent would not verify. I’d paste it and it’d either behave like no code entered or say incorrect code. Screams of a data grab as their primary suggestion to login is direct with Apple or Gmail. After code number 4, I deleted the app. Will avoid any brands who work with HomeWhiz.

Not sure if it’s the app or washer, but either way this system is most frustrating- sometimes it connects, other times it won’t connect the remote so just becomes a viewing platform- it’s so frustrating I’ve spent far too much setting and resetting- I’ve given up on it - when the washer needs changing I will look for alternatives

Awkward to install amd disappointing function
Took me 3 hours and multiple email registration attempts and password resets to get it installed. Worked fine when in same or next room to Beko washer but warning as unusable as a tool to monitor washer function as Beko washer disconnects if out of range and requires manual reconnect. May as well go and have a look! Uninstalled

Doesn’t work, can’t find my product and Beko are no help.
The app doesn’t work any time I try to connect my fridge I have to scan a barcode or enter a product code and nothing we have ever successfully works, the app just says it’s an invalid product code. I’ve called Beko who were unable to figure it out either.

A developer has replied here and asked me to email again with a reference number, but still no reply, so clearly no help.

So annoying!!!
I have tried absolutely everything to get my Beko washer to connect to this app but it just will not work. I’ve tried switching my 5ghz Wi-Fi channel off and just used 2.4ghz, I’ve tried three different devices, two different HomeWhiz accounts, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, I’ve hard reset the washer, I’ve scanned the barcode, manually typed the barcode, but by far the most annoying part is I emailed the HomeWhiz email address as they suggested, and was asked for a ton of information along with pictures of the issue which I did, only to get no response back. I emailed again chasing a response and was told it had been sent to the relevant unit? I waited another week and still no response so emailed again to which I got the same email back saying it had gone to the relevant unit. That was 23 days ago so I’ve now given up. My advice is don’t waste your time or your sanity with HomeWhiz.

Terrible connectivity
When it works, it’s great. But I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve sat on the floor for an hour, scratching my head trying to figure out why it won’t connect.

Will not connect device at all! The guide, their YouTube video, their FAQ link, it all the same useless info that DOES NOT WORK. You don’t respond to contact, you don’t respond to YouTube to the PLENTY of people with problems. You don’t car at all.

Won’t work!!!
Tried hundreds of time to connect. I have turn off the machine and back on, deleted the app and reinstalled. Absolutely everything!
I am so mad I bought this Beko washing machine.
I now don’t have the selection of washing settings that I am needing.
Thought this would make things easier, but no, just made things very very frustrating.
I have looked and looked at how to connect and still after a couple of months of trying I can do nothing.
Feel like sending it back saying it’s not working!
This is not what I bought and paid the money for, a machine that doesn’t have the washes I wanted.

Connection issues
App itself is good but the amount of times the washer dryer doesn’t connect and I have to reconnect is insane, I have to go through the connection wizard several times until it no longer says “no devices found” and I can actually control it again.

Horrible
I’m an IT pro, and this app is so difficult to configure. After a bit of guess work, finally possibly got there. Instructions make no sense. UI is bizarrely bad. Finally connected and not sure it would actually run a program still. Share some of the privacy concerns held by others. All in, it’s already deleted and I won’t be trying again! Weird that Beko don’t outwardly mention their name, so wonder if this is an outsourced app developed by someone outside Beko.

Works, with patience.
As the man of the house I am not trusted with white goods. Add an app, and I’m prepared to break those rules! We’ve had our washing machine for 2 years but just got around to using the app (I had paired when new, otherwise no idea where manual with serial number is). So, paired, connected (app instructions pretty clear). Washed my trainers, all pretty easy! One flaw is Bluetooth has short range, so couldn’t monitor the wash without going nearer machine, but that’s understandable. Not sure app offers any advantage?

I hate this app. If you want to wash your clothes with different programme, which is on your washing/dryer machine, every time you need to go to this app, to choose what do you want to do ( and this part is not so bad, however this app checking your details non stop, then login you out constantly , so you have to start everything from the beginning ( pair your item) again and again. Why can I use my washing/dryer as i wish?

Shocking, don’t waste your time downloading
First of all, the amount of access this app needs is unwarranted. It is being used just to harvest data. I’m very surprised that a reputable company like Beko would partner with such an app. Even when you open up your phone to all the access that it requires, and you eventually manage to add your washing machine it won’t let you do anything. Having seen reviews on the internet this is not the only problem. I’m a techie and have a home full of smart devices, and this is absolutely the worst I’ve seen. If I’d written this software I would be embarrassed. But as I said at the purpose of the app is to harvest data rather than provide control of your device. Do yourself a favour and don’t download. I’ve deleted it already.

Doesn’t give functionality expected
Thankfully I didn’t have problems connecting the app to my Beko washing machine like many others did, but the app lacks the one thing which would be the most usefully function for users… push notifications.
The FAQ on the website says the app will notify you when your appliance has finished a cycle… it doesn’t. After searching through the internet ‘how to’s’ and the app settings unsuccessfully, I’m still having to set an alarm on my phone to remind me to take my washing out… pointless.
I guess the remote control function is useful, but seeing I have to physically put my washing into my machine I might as well press the buttons while I am there. 🤷🏻♀️

I manage to pair the washing machine very easily(that was the easy step) after that on the homewhiz app apparently I can’t use the remote control function for no reason, I delete the app and I start the steps couple more times with the same result, maybe the manufacturer can’t help me with my problem, otherwise the app is useless

Beko washing machine
I recently got a beko washing and the apps seems to work very well with it was hard work at first to try set it up but managed to figure it out and running a cycle from it now, only thing i query about is the heavy access it needs, i.e, access to your local network access to your location, access to your wifi an Bluetooth, bluetooth id understanding but everything else seems a bit extreme especially when you don't know what they are able to receive and do with all these permissions and can only hope they dont use them to breach ur privacy or to sell or use ur data via use of these permissions, and that security is good, maybe the app developers can respond, an shed some light on it all for me. but other then my ticking mind, the app seems to do what it says it can do and seems to be working fine for me

Can someone from Beko read this?!
It’s so frustrating and annoying that makes me angry!
I’m using the latest app version, I’ve set location services, Bluetooth is turned on and the washer-dryer is turned off. I’ve successfully scanned the product barcode to get the number and tried to add the appliance, but it repeatedly says that the ‘device could not be found.’
It sounds from the other reviews that this has been a long-standing problem that hasn’t been resolved so far.
Fortunately, the machine works fine without the app, but it’s not fully functional and I can’t use important features!
I also sent a message via app to a help centre over a week ago and there was no answer at all! Terrible service!

After Many Long Hours App is Working!
The main issue is that you need the internet to make this app work. For example it won’t work on mobile data. Your phone must be connect for example to Sky broadband. The app setup will work when the washing machine door is closed not when it’s open. Remember this app will not work on iPads, tablets or iPhones if it’s using data. This is working and compatible for me now with my iPhone 12 mini (ios 16.5.1) connected to Sky broadband. (Tested and working) Remember when it’s connected, to turn the knob to ‘’Download Programme’’ then quick press once the ‘’Remote Control’’ button feature !!!!This app though is still not working on my iPad Air 4th generation for some reason!!!!

Sadly it’s completely useless and a waste of time
New Beko washing machine so tried with app. All set up and connected ok.
Set a programme and adjusted for delay, temperature etc, when I hit start it simply kick off straight away on the default settings. What I set it to hadn’t been picked up.
When I cancelled, it would reload or load anything different but default preset.
I’ve tried on another day to connect to see if can solve this, and it doesn’t connect at all. Machine all set to download, Bluetooth is showing as on for both devices, but keeps saying remote off.

Desperately need notifications.
Our Beko washing machine is all connected. However, after using the app for over a year it desperately, desperately needs notifications.
Whether it’s an error or more importantly the end of a cycle/programme. I mean the notifications part should be the number one reason for the app.

Tryouts two phone and a pad won’t connect via Bluetooth. Washer selected then dryer because you don’t have a choice for washer dryer and I’m not dumb. Your app won’t pair. I can pair it manually using Bluetooth but that data won’t move or be recognised in the app. So it the app that needs a complete rewrite!!!
Item not as advertised and if I could give you minus stars I would. Beko get your customers happy while you still have them.

Waste of time
I don’t usually do this, but on this occasion I’ll go out of my way to make sure everyone understands that if you download this app, you would just get angry and won’t be able to figure out why the hell a washing machine requires location from your device at all times.. and then when you allow it to have access to all your data, still does not work (and I am referring to just creating an account, not even connecting your machine to your device..). DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT!!!! It’s just a wast of time. If I could, I would give it 0 stars.

Not working
I bought new washer dryer and I wasn’t able to add my device. I wrote developer and they have updated their database so my device was able to connect to app. I give 3 stars because I had to ask for help. I would recommend to update database of all devices more frequently and similar reviews will be gone.

Impossible
I have tried loads of times to get this app to work. At one stage my smartphone registered it in its Bluetooth listing, but the app wouldn’t connect. The rest of the times it couldn’t even do that.
So then I did a bit of research and there would appear to be at least three different ways of connecting. One in the book which came with my Beko washer, a different one in the app itself then a third one in a downloaded user manual.
Naturally I have tried all ways, more than once, but still nothing will work. What is going on? Can somebody give me a foolproof way of getting the machine to connect to the app.
I’m on the point of sending the machine back because it doesn’t do what it says on the packet😡

It just will not connect to the device….why after so many reviews stating the same problem has a solution not been provided and problem for everyone rectified..??…

Useless
I don’t understand why I need to share my location the whole time I want to use the app. I shared it once isn’t it enough for the records? Moreover the app is no use, can’t connect my Beko washer dryer. Only can go as far as scanning the barcode and then it says that no devices can be found. In addition there’s a lack of options to choose from cleaning devices. Only options are either a washer or a dryer. I have 2in1 a washer and a dryer in one appliance. Not very thought through. I would’ve thought these things would be taken into consideration especially because your parter is Beko. Uninstalled as soon as installed the app

Awful app; waste of money on a ‘smart’ machine
No matter how many tutorials I’ve watched,how many guides I’ve read, comments with advice on the reviews of the app I have followed, how many months of trying to set this up: the app does not connect. As the app does not connect to my device, it will not work. As it will not work it makes all the other features that aren’t on my washer-dryer’s dial impossible to access, and in effect I’ve wasted nearly £500 on a machine that has half the function I was promised. Completely ridiculous and a waste of time and extra money. Get a transitional machine guys and don’t waste your time with the different apps you have to have for every single thing these days. Wish I could give this 0 stars but that’s not possible.

Won’t connect, poor functionality
Just managed to finally actually add my device to the app after a few hours of trying different things (I switched my Bluetooth off and then on and the device added) but I then get a “connecting” message that never becomes “connected”. Even if it did connect looks like you need to switch the connection on ever time you use the remote control functionality which sounds very pointless.

Did work well, now won’t engage delay function
When I started using the app a few months ago the delay start function for the washing machine worked well. Now, however, after setting the desired end time of a cycle, the app ignores the choice, changes some settings and disables the delayed start function thus rendering it useful for my purposes. It seems an update has thrown up a bug that has not been fixed…

Useless
I used to be able to use the downloaded program and select new programs for my Beko washing machine . Not used the app for a while and it’s been updated , now nothing works. It tells me the remote control is disabled but app doesn’t say how to reconnect. I’ve got the Bluetooth working but what’s the point if I can’t access the programs I want. I’ve read the machines instructions and from there I’ve got Bluetooth working but not the remote control. Pointless app and pointless having a machine I can’t control unless I’m standing infront of it . So now it’s just a “normal” washing machine .

Doesn’t Work Great
I managed to connect my oven fine but the app itself is a bit unusable.
If I try to control the oven from the app it freezes then crashes.
The recipe section initially looked good but the key step of what temperature and for how long to cook things for are missing. The step simplest says “cook using the programme” yet none of that information is in the app so not sure where you are meant to get the details from.
The only thing I have been able to do with the app is stop the oven when it’s already running so seems a bit pointless.

Fundamentally flawed
Had to download this PoS app to control my washing machine. Firstly it wants your location data all the time to control the device, not letting you rely on the fact that it’s Bluetooth and so innately location based. And even after all that it still runs at speeds that make glaciers look rapid, and overcomplicates every single interaction. Tldr: Trying to add a timer to my washing machine apparently needs my 24/7 location data in case I someone maliciously connects to the device, turns the knob to ‘connect to rubbish app’ mode and then tries to do my laundry for me
Edit: Faster response here than on my GDPR request for a copy of all my data, and to delete my account as there is no mechanism provided on the website

Good once it works
At first it would not connect to my Beko washing machine after trying several times with no luck I came across a video on the internet which solved the issues. Do not follow the app instructions or the washing machine instructions they are wrong, the washing machine does not need to be in the on/off position but in the downloaded programmes position. As soon as I put it on to this program it connected immediately with no issues.

It finally connected…persevere
The app wouldn’t connect to my dishwasher at first, well for the afternoon and all evening, but I woke up and it’s connected! Have successfully programmed using app and like that it gives you an idea of energy and water consumption for the program selected. Ok so far.

Once I got it working, it’s good!
Like others, I had trouble adding my washer to the app. Holding both buttons until the lights on the washer came up, then starting the add device process, I finally got it added to the app.
Once it was added, it kept saying remote control was off, even though I had it on the download program setting on the washer and the Bluetooth sign was on. Then I realised you have to tap the remote button so the phone icon shows on the washer. Now it finally works!

Fist time using Homewiz
I bought a Grundig GR 7700 (blue tooth) at curry’s for our house. All I can say is connecting isn’t rocket science, yet. It is not simple for a person who is slow and not technical. Takes about 5-10 minutes (3/5 mins at max when you have an account made already with HomeWiz.
I hope the app improves. Seems a little glitching at first. You must follow the instructions to enable blue tooth connection. Most are not doing that and are complaining.
I will start looking out for whatever HomeWhiz has to offer

Doesn’t connect, no matter what you try
Very technically able user, but I cannot get this to work no matter what I try. Also I hate the fact you have to provide your email address and personal info in order to start to use this app. Anyway, I can add a device to my account, but it remains in a continuous “trying to connect” state with the device. Tried absolutely everything multiple times to connect, and on multiple devices too. The app is completely shoddy, no support, no decent FAQ articles. Nothing works, including their website as I tried contact via the online web form, but the “send” button for the form doesn’t even work. I can’t see any email address where I can get help.
Please provide an email address in response to this review.
In summary; this is an absolutely ridiculous app. I can’t believe Beko have partnered with this sub par scam company. If I could give this experience -100 stars I would.

This app is pretty hard to use but once it’s actually connected it is a really good app I can control my washing machine from my phone, it also helps you choose what sort of wash to put on !

Do not connect to remote on washer dryer
I manage to connect to remote just once, and after that impossible to connect phone to the machine, it shows on the app that device is connected, asking to switch on the remote controlling, but when I try to do that just gives me 3 beeps and not switching on. By some miracle it did connect once, but after washing was finished it's not working any more. Tryed to reset phone, delete device and add it again, delete the app, reset the washing machine, but unfortunately nothing worked :(

You have to load the machine and lock it to enable remote control, then you can start it from your phone. But why not just start it while you where loading the wash machine or set a delayed start

Difficult to configure and unreliable
If you’re thinking of using this with a Beko washer, don’t bother. I am a very tech-savvy person and it took me 25 minutes to get the app connected to our machine. Now that it’s notionally configured, one still has to set it to remote manually every time, and it seems to disconnect itself once a cycle starts. There is no HomeKit integration.
I’m not entirely sure whom this is for, unless it is merely a ploy by the company to collect more consumer data – the app is very keen on asking for my location every time I use it, which strikes me as an invasion of privacy.

Very buggy
The concept is great but I find the actual app so buggy. Used to have issues connecting where I had to force close the app and restart. If you set the washer from the app it shows the start and end time for the cycle. If your phone locks, when you unlock your phone again the start time shows the current time you just unlocked your phone at.
Latest bug which is more of a biggie which is really annoying me.... the “wizard” doesn’t work. As soon as I connect to my washer and click on wizard, the app crashes/closes. I’ve forced closed the app, restarted my phone etc. Doesn’t work! Worked previously.....

Numerous privacy issues here. Why they need so much personal information for a washing machine remote control is beyond me.
Setting up washing machine to work with it
It’s great, I follow the instructions and manage to connect my phone to the device (app developer, please use the standard way of connecting a Bluetooth device instead of this awful in app way).
The washing machine shows up as a device.
But and here’s where the bad experience gets worse. All I get is “you must enable remote control using the button on your device”. Yeah are we talking my phone/tablet or the appliance? Because remote control on the appliance (washing machine is on, Bluetooth icon is steady (not flashing)). But I still can’t connect
App developer
Please look at other smart home apps to see how it should be done, for example apple’s home app, Phillips Hue, Nest or Kasa. While none are perfect at least they work.
Recommendation
After 45 minutes I simply gave up. Save yourself the time and frustration, there’s a reason why this app has so few stars. Avoid.

Terrible app !!!
After a lifetime of Bosch, I took the plunge, and bought a Beko washer dryer, the Bluetooth function was an added extra I liked...Why??IDK??
This is an awful, awful, dysfunctional and broken app, at least with my iPhone Xr and the Beko W/D, after the long winded installation chore, I had it paired, I admired my new screen on phone saying cycle time left and pause button! Now you’d want to try something, wouldn’t you? I touched the pause button on phone and it paused machine! Yay! it works! My triumphant glee was short lived when I touched the pause again to restart ( it showed play icon ) it didn’t work! I had to go to machine to re-start it! Kind of defeats the object !
I think the app also looks hideous, very amateur for a global brand!
For those brave enough to try this app, here’s a few tips:
Photo the label with s/n before starting machine because you need door open to read it!

Email confirmation goes straight to spam!
Expect a generic response from the app devs saying please reply to support link in app! How about the app devs CONTACT US via our registration email details!!!! And show they give a SH*T!

Can’t connect
Can’t connect my washer-dryer at all. Trying for 3 months now, tried everything already. When the HomeWhiz is enabled on device, the search screen is loading longer when with homewhiz disabled on device it’s loading in seconds, looks like it found something but the app glitch doesn’t let me add the device, only retry searching for it. No device available in the app, and I paid more for washer-dryer just to have option with the phone, waste of money and a shame on app developers they can’t fix it. So many people said the app was fine before update, why would you change something that works? Or at least change it for the old version and work on the new one in your office then, when you’re sure it works, update it cause it’s unusable. And for 3 months or longer people are saying that, but you don’t care? Terrible.

Could be great.
Downloaded this due to purchasing a new beko washing machine. It seems to lack some really basic functionality that might make it useful. For eg. The ability to get a notification when your cycle is complete is either not there or impossible to find as an option. The wizard function isn’t too bad. Would like to be able to start my cycle at a specified time as well but I can’t seem to work that out either.
Oh well. Didn’t but the machine for the smart capability. Is back to being a dumb machine.

I have finally got this working, I didn’t realise that in order to connect fully to the washing machine the control nob had to be turned to the Bluetooth / download program position, I don’t know if it’s just me or could this me made clearer in the in the setup instructions.

Thoroughly disappointed.
I was using this app with my Beko washing machine originally. It wasn’t great but I was able to use the wizard to select a programme and select a specific time for the washing machine to finish a cycle. It was supposed to notify me when it was done but never did. I got used to it.
Then the app got updated (changed completely); I can’t add my washing machine to it at all so now it’s pointless to me, and my washing machine which I bought specifically for the Bluetooth feature can’t be used to its highest potential. I have never known such a terrible app. Thoroughly disappointed.

I can now connect but most of it’s still in a foreign language
After the l can now at least connect to the app and can get the program in the screen however I have half the app still in a foreign language. This was particularly helpful when I was trying to set the time for the machine to finish in the morning, a really useful feature apart from I don’t know what to oress as every button just seems to now start the machine. I’ve given it an extra star as I now can connect but it’s still not a patch on what the app was before.

Terrible since update
I only use this app to set rules and timers for my washing machine. Now I can’t even do that!
The washing machine cycle start button is hidden behind another menu bar meaning you can’t actually begin cycles correctly, the programme cycle feature for some reason is only in Turkish!? There is no option to change the language back to English, the app also crashes and hangs for no reason. Why did you fix something that wasn’t broken?

Terrible App Update
App used to work fine, I recently updated to the latest version thinking it would be a welcome improvement to the current version. Shockingly the new app version fails at so many levels - simple user acceptance testing or regression testing would have identified a lot of these issues.
It is unusable, I have now resorted to using the machine directly. This is something I had not done since purchasing the machine some 7 months ago.

Terrible App update June 2020 Turkish language used in menu options and start options as well
App was working great until app update June 2920. I only use it to set the timer to start a wash/dry on the washer about 5 am the next day when on cheap electric rate.
New app would not load, kept crashing so deleted app and downloaded new version again, this worked ! You are supposed to be able to load previous ‘family’ settings easily but still had to reload washer details/ serial no etc again, after several attempts and 30 minutes successfully regained access to my previously working remote app.
Ah cannot set timer to run washer at a set time the next day, it defaults back to present date and time and runs machine then, not when I e we want.
Some of the menu options and ‘buttons’ to set timer etc are in TURKISH!!!! Not a language I’m good at, Jockanese and UK English only I’m afraid. Even the page headers for the legal definition page is in TURKISH!!!!
Have tried setting a ‘rule’ to enable the washer to run next day, even with that the rule settings are ‘OPEN’ and ‘CLOSE’ when in reality it appears to mean ON and OFF .
In short taken a app that eventually worked and re-coded it to be crap again.
At least I think I can start to understand the meaning of a couple of Turkish words

Failed! At every stage!
Firstly had the problem connecting initially with crashing but finally got through it! Then found it had kicked me out of the auto reorder so manually reordered, £20 was taken from my back account over 3 weeks ago, I have received absolutely nothing and there is no clear way to contact anyone! Everyone I contact either knows nothing or passes me on to someone else! It’s a scam and I’m out of pocket and products and don’t seem to be able to get any help at all!

Before you add your appliance, start with your phone in data mode (not connected to WiFi). I then followed the instructions on the app and had no issues in setting-up.

This app kept crashing for me until I followed the instructions in SELadywell’s review. The key is that you need to leave the app part way through the process and join the HomeWhiz network. Thank you SELadywell, I was about to give up on the app which is utterly frustrating but after following your instructions I am connected and able to claim my free products.
