Wish I could pay a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION!
I’ve found a couple of awesome stories on here and there are lots of amazing authors.
However, I think I’ve spent over £90 on spirit stones. The price they’re asking for is excessive considering how expensive each chapter is. I’m all for supporting the authors but I doubt their pricing is set up this way to support creators.
Wish I could pay a monthly subscription..

Thrown out again.
I just been thrown out for about the fifth time and had to delete the whole app and start again with all my reads. As this means the loss of all my paid chapters I was really ticked off.

Slow but still great
I’m not a person to spend money, so being able to reading 10+ chapters before needing to do anything is amazing and in a couple of clicks and 2 adds I am able to read 2 chapters. Although it’s slow and it take a lot of patience it’s worth it. Any way, the comics I read don’t update daily so if I start reading a new one, I can catch up faster than it can update

Great and easy to use novel app. Wide variety of novels and now comics to choose from. Very generous too - many free chapters to read (so you have time to collect Spirit Stones) before you have to pay. Translation quality is good too. Highly recommend.

Very nice app for any avid reader, whilst the spirit stone limits do make this a 4 not a 5 star app it offers fantastic value for relatively little effort. What this needs is a bit more of a refinement in how many Stones a chapter needs to unlock regarding content of said chapter.

I use to absolutely love this app, didn’t mind paying a bit of money for stones even loved the monthly subscription but since they have brought in advanced chapters and if you want to read them you have to pay the price numerous times over and every single month at extortionate prices it’s just turned into a money pit, I think the creators have forgotten what it’s like to let people enjoy the glory of the novels while also giving the authors some money for their hard work, not to mention the fact it’s glitched in the renewal this month and you can’t even open the chapters you have pre purchased, I’ve spent well over £100 in the last month just to read novels which are an escape for me as they are for a lot of others I’m sure, I think it’s time for me to move platform somewhere else where hasn’t completely sucked out the enjoyment of just simply reading
I stress I’m all for paying a little money for books as authors deserve recognition for their hard work but this bleeding people dry is ridiculous, after suffering from cancer twice this app was my escape from reality when I needed it but now it’s completely ruined, please sort it out so us loyal and long term readers can enjoy once more

The update is horrendous
The new update added a privilege system that won’t allow you to see a locked chapter by just using spirit stones.You haven’t to use 250+ spirit stones each month to get the privilege badge to allow you to unlock further ahead chapters.I only use Webnovel for in particular 1 novel that I have been reading ahead for ever since I got this app.I’m in chapter 1333 and I don’t think they will be releasing further chapters.

Spirt stones
Hi Web novel,
Can you stop taking away some of the spirit stones that I’ve saved from my daily logins? It’s getting annoying that I couldn’t increase the amount of spirit stones that after saving them for months 😡. I have screenshots to prove that you took away 12 of my spirt stones from the past 2 days. I’ve only gained 5 back today from the daily login. I’ll email you or message you the screenshots if you let me know your contacts. I know you need profits to keep your translations going but it’s not fair to purposely take away my spirit stones that I’ve saved for months because I wish to read your translations as many chapters as I can save up for than to read one chapter a day at a time. It sometimes ruins the enjoyment of reading the story particularly when the chapters are short. Please give back the spirt stones I’ve saved and let me continue saving spirit stones without you taking them away. It’s completely unfair when you intended to reward readers with spirt stones for logging in daily only to take it away. Thank you very much

The More Privileged Chapters
It shows xx unread for something that’s in a whole different section and it’s getting to me. The small amount of spirit stones to read the locked chapters are fine, I can read up to whatever using my spirit stones, but when It shows the number on stockpile. I can’t accurately guess what I’m able to read. It would be great that in the Library it just shows the amount of chapters unread as it did previously and the stockpiled chapters will be kept for when you tap to show the novel in details.

Spirit Stones
The apps overall great and the books are amazing the only disadvantage would be that spirit stones expire for some reason. It makes no sense I prefer collecting those stones and taking my time reading the book but instead they just expire I mean I went from 200 stones to 36 just because I didn’t use them. Personally just to make this app better I suggest you don’t expire the stones there’s really no reason to.

It's a solid app with a few bugs (on my iPad) however it is getting steadily more difficult to use if you are a free user. As a student who currently can't afford to pay for spirit stones (used to get new chapters think micro transactions) I rely on the daily reward/watching adverts and voting to read chapters. When something like the daily reward gets changed so that it gives exp or power stones instead of spirit stones it gets harder to stick with the service. But overall if you are more able to pay for the service than I am I can only recommend it.
Edit: Horrible business practices, introducing "privilege" you have to pay for to finish a novel. In short do not download, run by thieves.

Good books
I love this app the books I’ve read are so good that I’m more and happy to buy them. This is a first time that I’ve paid in a app so I can read more.
The only down size is that you only have so much magic stones and to unlock a chapter takes 4-9 stone so you can only unlock 3 chapters unless you buy the stone and it’s not cheap.
Just got this app a month ago so not sure if once you unlock an page does it stay unlock.

I like the stories that everyone is writing so please don’t ever stop it, and this has inspired me more to write more chapters for my fans on another app. These stories have given me more inspiration than anything, more than watching a movie, or episodes, or anime, or seeing what the world gives me, or even reading the stories on the other app. These stories seem more advanced than anything so please let the people keep doing what they are doing cause they are doing an amazing job.

I love this app. There’s amazing stories and everything, I can write my own stories and it’s just amazing! But the thing is there are so many bugs and it’s ticking me off. Like if I edit my chapters if I realise I made a mistake, I can’t change it after I’ve uploaded it! It just reduces the quality which makes my eyes twitch because I want my readers to have the best quality. Also I wish there were italics and bold if we wanted to have like the main lead thinking etc. But overall this app is lovely to have!

It’s a good app.
Web novel is convenient for reading and has most novel on the market on it. However sprit stones (in app currency) are over used and shouldn’t be used for every chapter but a whole book so you know what your paying for (although they’re easy to earn but you never have enough. And most of the work on the app is stolen from original editors with no credit given other than the original stuff. I know they own the rights but they literally just copied and pasted from previous translators so should at least credit their hard work.

Extremely convenient app for novel reading although the spirit stones are a problem, my biggest issue though is that after it updated recently i can no longer read in landscape mode which isn’t great when I’m using a tablet especially when I can’t charge it at the same time as reading it due to it having a stand case

Great for translated novels
It’s the place to go fro translated novels. I love reading them it makes the journey to work so much better. Their hours I’ve spent just getting lost in the novels.

Well it just keeps getting better
To begin with the premium to way over expansive. I'm all for supporting authors but I mean like you could be spending over £1000 buying SS for a single long novel and if your like most people you read more than one novel so you end up dropping novels left right and centre because you can’t afford to throw money at it. Then there’s the what’s next/new thing. It’s Brocken with its fake reviews. (This novel is awesome , blah blah blah, it’s light hearted. You read the novel to find out it’s just rape not much else) and now they’ve updated the scroll function so that you cant easily get to the comments without changing your read mode from a normal scroll down to a janky swipe/ tap for next page.
Also dunno if it’s just me but I struggle to get the menu pop up to get out of the novel and to my library.
Now I know some will read this and think why do I still use it. Well it’s like EA games. The concept is great just poorly executed or done right for some parts but bombarded with micro transactions
I’m hoping it gets better but it doesn’t seem that way now. And I really like the way they’ve Done the library and how you search for novels. Ok I’ve done my rant.

I love that there are soo many novels in this app and that each novel has a story that hooks me in until the end.
There are even comics and many different genres to choose from... however i prefer that i can get a higher amount of daily spirit stones since i’ve been on this app for a long time like giving more spirit stones for being a higher level. It makes it hard for me to read till i’m satisfied everyday and it always gets me mad for this to happen to me. But overall my experience is fun and i highly recommend to anyone who finds reading somewhat entertaining.(I never used to read as much before i got this)

I’ve used this app for more than a year now and I gotta say its pretty good, but lately i’ve been dropping on the activity aspect because every time I open the app. I go through the process of “Oh i’m logged out! Let me log in again” , log in again , wait a few seconds then a webpage version popping up onto my screen of Webnovel with me logged on popping up and a notice down at the bottom saying “You can download the app” When I am on the app. What is going on? Changed title: app keeps crashing
This is a good app to start reading Chinese webnovels. It's quite stable and has a good variety of novels. The quality varies depending on the writer and translator of course, ranging from very good to horrible.
However you rapidly run into the problem of requiring to pay Spirit Stones (SS) to unlock chapters beyond a certain point. You do get SS if you do a few daily things, but it's only enough to unlock about 1 chapter/day, so a problem if you read many chapters or different stories. The other problem I've had recently is SS getting lost by the system, i.e. my daily check in says "Congrats, you have 20 SS", but when I check my balance, they haven't appeared. This happens about once a week. It would really bother me if I was hungry for daily chapters.
Which leads me to the other problem with this app; no visible customer support. I've sent off emails via the feedback tab to complain about missing SS, but haven't heard anything back for the last few months. So don't hold your breath for a response or a fix if anything goes wrong.
So this is a good app, but keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed.
Update: over the last 2 weeks this app has been logging me off every 2 days, then won't let me log back in. It keeps acting as if the app is not on my phone and sends me to the webpage, even after I've logged on. The only cure I've found is to delete and reinstall it. But I've already done it 5 times over the last 10 days and I'm heartily sick of this. It's reached the point where it's more hassle than it's worth. And emails to the support page don't get any response. :-(
