Phone tab has stuck red notification

On the phone tab I have a push notification showing the number 4 in red.
I can’t find any reason for it. Or any way to clear it.
Tried support website but it just puts me in a loop sending me to the same list of articles!
Any ideas please?

I had bought the app, now it’s asking for payment

I bought this app years ago on my iPhone, now they’re asking for a subscription payment too. The app was not cheap when I bought it either.
Do I get my refund now that I can’t use the app as described originally?!

Best VOIP APp

This app is genuinely the best thing since sliced bread!!

Been looking for a way to work "iPad solo" at ,y new role but having no option for voip calling was left punching numbers read from the iPad into a phone. This is much better!! Works seamlessly in split screen DOWNLOAD THIS NOW

Ok. but...

App is good except that it has to be restarted every 12 hours or so. Otherwise it does not pick up the calls. Slightly annoying. I have had to set an alarm on my phone to remind me otherwise I will miss business calls

Total failure! Go with “Groundwire”

Utterly rubbish piece of junk, bought this when it was £5 in 2012. Now they charge for yearly subscription fee. Though it’s not even fit for purpose compared to their competitors like “Groundwire” which cost a one off fee of £9.99 once its set up You don’t need to have it running in the background. Never missed a call since.

Good but needs improvement

This is a fantastic way to acquire a second line on mobile phones and have a landline number to boot! However, the cure version keeps sending calls to voicemail without giving you chance to answer. This has always been temperamental but recently got worse. Please sort it guys!!

Where is my £5???

I bought Bria when it was £5 I don’t want any of the new features but would like the product I have purchased. Unfortunately it is now not passable to get to it and counterpath insist that I should subscribe to get access to something that I have already paid for and have been using without problem for years.
If I can’t use it anymore can I have my £5 back please as currently if feels like you have stolen an app from my phone.

Not working at all

the app goes to background mode and does not receive a phone call after it goes to sleep between 2 to 3 minutes. I have to open the app again and then it registers and receives calls.

Latest update is a disaster!

All the time I've used this app I get this problem of it randomly saying "a maximum of two calls can be connected at a time", despite having not even used it that day. I get a call I need to forward to a colleague but I can't transfer it and I have to get the colleague to call the client back - not what we pay ££££ for! Since this latest update the app doesn't run in the background, so will only function if your phone is awake with the Bria app open. As soon as your phone sleeps or you use another app you're disconnected and you don't receive any calls! Complete and utter waste of time and money! Still not fit for purpose.

Issues

Since updating to iOS 11.4 the mobile cannot take calls when it is asleep. The mobile (tested on iPhone 6s and x with the same issue) needs to be unlocked in order to take calls. We have an iPhone 6 with 11.2 installed and it works fine.
Please can this be issue be resolved because in all other ways, it is a fab app.

Not that great.

Phone calls never come through. Always have to wait for a voicemail message to pop up on my email. I have had a few very important phone calls and the app has disconnected me numerous times. Sort it out!

Great App ...

I was using Grandstream’s GS Wave app; which was all well and good ... the only problem was the background registration issues if the app was not open 😕
Enter Bria ... this app gives the same service as GS Wave, with a few little extras, along with the background registration for iOS devices ... couldn’t ask for more.
Use for both personal and work services and haven’t looked back since 👍🏻

What happened?

Used to be a solid and reliable app. Now regularly crashes and won’t run in the background (if you switch away from the app, your account deregisters and you can’t receive calls). Bria does not appear in the Background App Refresh list, which goes a long way to explaining this behaviour. I feel like I’m missing something: it has plenty of features and looks and feels like the version I used to use, but for the reasons outlined is essentially worthless. What happened?

Before you buy read my review

I have had this Bri for years. I bought mine when it was about £5. It has never been cheap. I expected so much from Bria, it was a mixture of good and bad.
Before now, if you receive a call that is not from Apple's own call system, it was routed to the notification system. First unlock your phone, then slide down from top, tap the call and finally receive the call. Very annoying if you remember.
Finally Apple can now let us pick call like it's a normal call.
Bria never adopted it. If your phone goes off, just make sure you toggle Bria. If you don't you won't receive any notification.
Bria had plan. They brought out a new app with subscription that promises to push calls to you just like normal phone.
Please save your money and buy GROUNDWIRE. Powerful. If you like put your phone off and on again, you will receive calls as normal. No subscription. One off payment and you will never need a house phone again.

New subscription model a disaster

Have used Bria for iPhone for several years and, although not perfect, we continued to recommend it for our cloud Voip users. I can’t do that any more because the app no longer works either in background or lock-screen mode and no push notifications either, unless I pay handsomely for the privilege. Have now found an alternative, Groundwire, that does all of the above, it will even ring when I haven’t started the app - brilliant - and for a reasonable once only charge. Sorry Bria, poor decision.

App is definately not worth the money being a subscription makes it yet another reason not being worth the money should be like most of the other voip apps with no subscription.Not recommended.Why does the app also ask for your iTunes password as well seems strange.

No AirPods and regular crashing

Doesn't work with Bluetooth AirPods.
Making it pretty impractical trying to make support phone calls while wanting to keep both hands free!
While entering settings and while idling on screen the app crashes very reliably after about 50 seconds.
