So disappointed!
Really looking forward to using this app when I downloaded it. I like the idea of being able to set reminders for emails and only having to think about them again if I don’t get a reply.
Sadly it’s subscription only and £17.49 a month! How can they justify that amount, surely it must be a mistake?! Not sure I’d even pay that amount a year for personal use

Utterly disgraceful that this pushed a subscription only (and not cheap by email client standards) Update. Shocking. So stopping using and will pay someone else just because if this mismarketing.

£17 per month? For email with a few frills?
I pay around that for a full fledged CRM which handles email and much more.
I’m yet to see an email app do well from subscription pricing, and cant see any reason to pay when stock apps are coming on leaps and bounds. I certainly can not see a reason to pay a similar amount to many full fledged CRMs.
Whoever set this pricing is either delusional , trying their luck or is really over rating the app.

I have no idea why they would think this app is worth £17 a month it’s beyond me. Safe to say I’ll no longer be using.

I wish people would stop using this word. Free for a limited time until you are forced to pay to continue using the app is like saying good for a limited time then it’s crap. Burns doesn’t it.
Nice app but not worth the subscription when you have truly free alternatives in Outlook, GMail and Apple’s own mail app.

Amazing app but one thing to improve on!

Buggy
Hitting the ‘hide’ button for the sidebar hides it... For a second and then it pops back unless you change from portrait to landscape.
The radial option doesn't do anything - it just gives you the linear options list.

The best email app
And it's not even close, I have tried the 3-4 leading email clients out there and none of them even come close to what Boomerang offers. The swipe left feature is extremely satisfying 😀

Only support 3 email providers
Shame that you only support 3 email providers, I’m uninstalling because I have AOL, GMX, SAPO and for me it’s essencial to use all of them.
Others apps are way ahead of you, your app is nice, but not well enough to keep me here due to provide only 3 emails.

Nice ideas but poorly executed
I love the features this app offers, especially the ability to "boomerang" emails based on time or reply status. However, the app itself leaves much to be desired. It is slow and buggy, navigation is poor, emails don't display nearly as well as they do in Gmail and since the new IOS update I can't even open links in emails when I set Chrome as the default browser. Please fix these problems and modernise the app and this can be a great app.

Not working doesn't open after installation
I downloaded and set up my email accounts and the app doesn't respond or open just keeps closing each time without advice.
It looked good at start but unfortunately has a bug so I decided uninstall

No Fingerprint Login
Very good email client that is really efficient and effective alas no security for login. Works well otherwise, I still give 5 stars as have just included outlook, will b better when they have mail.com onboard.

Some nice touches but has a fundamental flaw
It is not possible to access individual emails within a chain. (You can Read them but cannot reply without sending the whole chain)
So what ?
Example: if you have received a request for information from an external source, it is likely that you will send out the questions to a number of internal people who can help with different parts. If you want to respond to (or forward) an individual email in the chain there does not appear to be a way to do it - without resending the whole chain (including responses received after the one you want) which is confusing for the recipient (god forbid they are also using boomerang!)
Oh and if you decide to put up with that when you hit reply it will reply to the person who sent you the most recent email in the chain

A great email client
I use this app on my iPad Pro and my iPhone XR. It does absolutely everything I need now with unification of email addresses and multiple delete option of the trash bin. Works flawlessly. Already recommended it to a couple of friends. Thank you developers, happy new year.

No IPad Version
This is a great app but to use the ‘app zoom’ feature to claim iPad compatibility is no longer an option. Too many apps are better and offer full iPad versions. Shame as this app has great promise. I’ll keep an eye on the store to see if you do indeed make a new version.

Can’t Scroll
Love the delayed sending functionality but not being able to scroll while drafting an email on IOS makes it incredibly cumbersome to use.

Could be great but unreliable
I’ve just had a train wreck of a work day because the Boomerang app keeps failing to send messages, often only surfacing warning of a ‘network error’ later on. There were no network problems and my other email apps worked fine. I’ve had to dig back into email threads and drafts and resend time sensitive messages. Some of them did later send from Boomerang so landed recipients with duplicates. I tried this app a year or so ago because the inbox pause feature is such a good idea - back then the only way to enable that feature was by voice input which was ridiculous. Thankfully that has been fixed, but it’s not a reliable email app in my experience.

No notifications and unread email count issues
For some reason this is the only app I can use with my email address. But it never notifies me of new emails and the unread email count is so useless that it indicates I have unread emails even when I don’t have an account set up...

I really enjoyed using this app. It’s biggest shortcoming is the absence of an iPad app, which I look forward to seeing. Until then I have had to uninstall.

Has good points, but not good enough…
Good looking email app with slick swipe actions for dealing with mail rapidly. But too many problems to be really useful.
1. Emails show with the subject line as the main display, not the sender. Why on earth??? You see a list of random subject lines and have to look carefully to discover who is emailing you. (The default Gmail display is to show the sender, so why does Boomerang turn that around?). At least give us the option of choosing to have the sender as the main display. (This is a dealbreaker for me, so I will have to stop using Boomerang is there is no workaround.)
2. There is an annoying glitch when trying to work with multiple emails. If you’re going through your inbox, clicking on emails to delete (or archive or whatever), if you have highlighted about 15 or more, Boomerang frequently just unmarks them all at random and you have to go back to square one. In another version of this irritation, today I had about 20 emails highlighted and a message popped up asking me to review Boomerang. When I dismissed the message, the app had forgotten all the emails I had highlighted and I had to start again. Sooooooo irritating.
3. Very disappointing that there is no unified inbox option. It is possible to add more than one account, but you have to keep swapping between them! Why not have the option of seeing them all together??
So, all in all, no matter how slick and easy to use this app may be, that in no way makes up for it’s major deficiencies. Needs some work before it can become a go-to email app.

Great Contender
This is a great app for managing emails as it works pretty fast, looks good and connects to many different email providers, but the best part I find is the unique swipe function
With the function with a single swipe, you can perform any of 5 actions, on a single email or even multiple, and you fingers don’t need to perform any extra tasks, it’s all handle in 1 swipe.
However I dropped a star as I feel the Magic Swipe should be customise able, eg removing actions you actually wouldn’t use personally, but still worth a download and forgetting the normal gmail app ;)

Haven’t had chance to try the app as when I click on G Suite/ Gmail to set it up, it crashes and closes

Lovely look and feel- but...
I agree with other comments that this is just a little too early, however the interface is lovely to look at and use and the app itself simple but effective. Siri Integration is boasted but in reality does not quite cut it again with standard commands being misheard.... however, all the above taken into account , this is a very good app with a LOT of potential.

Amazing, So confused as to why this app isn’t more popular
Works amazingly well and it’s so useful, so glad I can use the boomerang add on I usually use on my desktop on my phone so there’s less faff when I need to boomerang something away from the desk. Very underrated!

Really high quality app
I installed this app to make a quick change to an email I’d scheduled, but wow what a great app. I love the UI style, great way of handling email options when you slide left and get a fancy list with interactive lines. Thanks for all the hard work!!

OK mail app
I have tried multiple iOS mail apps, Mailbox, Inbox, Gmail, Spark, Canary and so forth. Boomerang looks sleek and behaves well but the voice command does not work for Exchange. If you live in gmail you’re in luck, however. It presents the result in a neat format, providing you with an overview of today’s agenda, unanswered and new emails. It’s currently free and in beta but according to the FAQ it will cost you money once it becomes general release. Whether you will be able to buy the app or this will be a tiered subscription service like the browser based solution is not clear. Personally, I will not pay for a subscription service. The Personal option is not worth $4.99 per month. Never mind the Pro version at $14.99. Madness! I’ll stick to Canary which looks better and offers lots of useful features, and only costs £4.99.

Already set as my default mail app - the easy slide way of quickly dealing with mail is brilliant.
Only negatives - the arrival of new mail waits for the app to open instead of pushing and the unread count either doesn't show at all or is incorrect.

Great Email App
Really enjoying the new boomerang app. Have been using the desktop version to delay the sending of emails for a little while. Unfortunately I can’t use the app over gmail as my official signature won’t pull through. Attempted to add one in the app but doesn’t have the ability to do images and bold text correctly. Any way around this?

Get to Inbox Zero on your iPone with new Boomerang app
I am loving this long awaited email app from Boomerang. It is certainly the best tool I’ve used for achieving Inbox Zero on my phone.
Areas for improvement:
i) please add landscape view (I.e. when rotating phone) - not all emails format correctly in portrait and zooming in/out slows down email management process
ii) integration with Evernote, Trello and cloud storage, etc. (along the lines of Spark) would mean I’d need only need the Boomerang app to do everything I want to do managing my emails.
Looking forward to this app becoming my no.1.

Button for Inbox Pause?
It would be great to have a button to pause and unpause the inbox instead of having to use the voice assistant. Even better if a click started pause, but press and hold brought up the options to pause for various times (like on the browser version). Thanks.
