The app is free to download. All customers are welcome to a free 7-day trial period. If you choose to continue use of the app, we offer a auto-renewing subscription options: monthly subscription, while the yearly subscription.

Payment will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the subscription period. There is no increase in price when renewing.

All you need for loosing weight

It doesn’t show content in the ‘diet information ‘ section. This is why I removed a star. Otherwise is very easy to use, clear instructions all throughout the process, it has got recipes which I find very useful.

Dukan works. The app hurts.

Dukan has changed my life and this app has helped me do it, but it could be so much better. Hasn’t been updated for 4 years, it’s glitchy and parts of it don’t work at all anymore, but still charging for use. Official info on the diet, a modernised and more universally relevant list of approved foods, updated recipes and access to products are all ways this could be so improved - and so lucrative for them! Can’t understand why it’s so poor and neglected. Often have to refer to better info available on keto and Atkins diets and adapt with what what I know from having used Dukan for years now. If you absolutely follow the rules, you will absolutely get results and feel great. I lost 2 stone in less than a year and it completely changed my relationship with food and habits for the better (and I wasn’t particularly overweight or unhealthy before). But there are other diets that are much easier to find info and support on, and may have the same effects. Please, developers, show this app some love again!

Good for tracking progress

Would be great if you could access to the main website for more recipes and tips, and maybe a section with Q&A maybe? Other than that it’s works well and helps to remind yourself about drinking and exercise.

Abandoned?

I’ve been a subscriber for some time on and off over recent years as it’s a great app for tracking which phase you’re on and how long for each phase etc. The food list and recipes are useful but don’t seem to match the most recent books written by Pierre Dukan. Also the ‘About this diet’ page under the ‘i’ icon no longer works. Pretty sure this is where you need to go to see how long each phase is so needs fixing ASAP. Honestly feels like it’s been abandoned and probably shouldn’t have a subscription fee. Without these issues it would a 5 star app but when I’m paying for something that has a fundamental aspect not working I can’t in good conscience give a high score.

Little adjustments

Think you should be able to record where you’ve had a PP or PV day, as it may not align to the schedule.

E.g on a PV day as per the app, you may have a PP day followed by another and that insight should inform what Dr Dukan says.

Great app for Dukan-ers!

Lets you see what day you are in, PO or PV, you put in the weight, see your progress, which is very nice, also has some recipes and the introduction to the diet. I'm a long time dukan diet lover, so I mostly use to see what day I'm at or to record progress😍.

Would appreciate if you could generate a shopping list based on the ingredients selected for the next day menu meals.

It would make shopping more focused towards the 100 allowed items and limit distractions when doing grocery shopping

Brilliant

Brilliant app, encompassing body as well as mind/ mental state on the day, it gives relevant feedback and advice and prompts on how to keep on track. At a glance you can see how you are doing with weight, mood diet exercise etc on a daily basis certainly helps as a motivator to reach your goal!

What would be useful are more recipes for vegetarians please!

Basic app

The app is very basic in comparison to other diet/health apps in the market. It’s not intuitive.

Suggested Improvements

- remember the food inputs made by users in the food diary, to enable us to select from previous days inputs, to reduce repetitive manual entries.

- Separate coding to track actual fluid intake

- “About the diet” page is way too long, I loose interest in having to scroll down so much.

- The commentary related to the emotions are also way to long, scrolling down one big block of text isn’t great . I Loose interest again, having to scroll down so much, which defeats the object of them.

- In the Diary - move the tab to select “on my period!! I find it annoying and insulting.. not all of us have them!!

- In the Diary - Exercise - We dont all use those methods to exercise.. the selection is limited. Include housework, Yoga, pilates.

- link the app to Apple Watch, Garmin or other common exercise devices.

Overall great app

Overall great app, but the devil is in the details.

1. No print option for recipes

2. Dukan sell foods not included in the food list

3. Integration with health app, not taken data about how much calories you burn during the day and how that reflect to your diet.

Don’t understand me wrong I buy one year subscription and I use every day this app.

But this functionality really missing.
