Not great for tree pollen sufferers...

This app lines up with the Met Office and outside of March they don’t record pollen forecasts, therefore this is useless until March. But, in London, lots of us suffer with tree pollen allergies from Feb, and it is really common.

1.2GB OF DATA!!

Seriously, this app used up 1.2GB! Not updating, not installing, just day to day use for a couple of weeks. Checking it once a day.
Download it by all means - it does its job. So does the BBC weather app. But that doesn’t use up half your data allowance!!

My saviour

Without this app life would be so much more difficult.
I use it daily and this gives me the confidence to get through my day knowing what to expect and what extra precautions I need to make.
I suffer with hay fever which causes asthma and at times this creates problems with anything energetic. Therefore using this app gives advanced warning for me to plan a carefree day/ week.

Really slow to open. Sometimes crashes when opening

Really slow to open. It didn’t used to be so slow I don’t think. Often it will crash too upon opening.

Inaccurate forecast

Today and for the rest of this week, this app is showing the pollen count in my area as being low, however, all other forecasts say today and the next few days are moderate. Although, it does look like a well thought out app, the layout is simple and easy to understand, and the diary which predicts what you’re most sensitive to looks like a very handy tool, however, given the forecasts inaccuracy I wouldn’t put much trust in the accuracy of this either. Sort out the forecast and it would be a stellar app

Great

App tells you how high the pollen levels are wherever you are. There is also a diary feature to keep track of how you’re feeling.
App is free so there are ads. But they’re not full screen or anything like that. Worth checking out.

Pretty Good

Would be good to be able to look at the predicted pollen count elsewhere in the country. For example, I would like to know how it’s looking in London on Friday.

Simple but brilliant!

I don’t usually leave reviews for apps but this one is too good not to! A must have for hay fever sufferers. The forecast feature is helpful and information is displayed throughout in a clean and easy to read layout. The diary tab is a nice extra, allowing you to rate your symptoms from 1-4 (bad to good). Shame about the ads though, wish there was an option to remove.

Pollen app

This app is very good because it helps me to determine when the hayfever is going to be high. It is also pretty accurate with its results. Maybe you could add something where it can say what pollen is airborne. E.g. Grass, weeds, nettles etc...that would make the app even better. But overall the app is brilliant.
