Description
Application to mirror the screen of your iPhone or iPad to any Samsung Smart TV. No wires and no additional hardware needed! You can mirror any app on your iPhone or iPad to your Samsung TV.
To mirror video as well as audio, please make sure that you start mirroring when you are in the app (Photos, YouTube, Facebook etc.) that you want to mirror to your TV.
This works on any Samsung Smart TV from the 2012 models onward. Which model year do you have? You can see that by looking at the middle letter in your model type (on the back of your Samsung TV).
E = 2012
F = 2013
H = 2014
J = 2015
K = 2016
M = 2017
N = 2018
R = 2019
T = 2020
Q = QLED (also supported)
For instance:
UE55_E_S8000 = 2012.
UE78_H_U8500L = 2014.
In using the app, there will be a couple of seconds of latency (usually between 1 and 3). So this mirroring is not suitable for gaming.
However, it is very suitable for watching movies, giving presentations, watching photos, and much more!
How the app works:
1. Make sure that your iPhone or iPad is connected to the same local network as your Samsung TV. Don't use multiple VLANs or subnets.
2. Launch the Mirror for Samsung TV app. It will start looking for your Samsung TV(s) on your local network. When a TV is found, please select it. When you use this app for the first time, depending on your model Samsung TV, the TV might ask you to "allow" the connection. In that case, take your TV Remote Control and press OK to allow the connection from your TV to your iPhone or iPad.
3. Turn on notifications for this app. We will not spam you, but we will use this to let you know if your TV is working correctly or not. So please, please allow it, otherwise when things don't work as they should, you are left in the dark.
4. Click on Start Mirroring to start mirroring on the TV that is currently selected. After that, you can just go to any other app on your iPhone or iPad and the mirroring just continues to run.
5. To stop mirroring, there are two options. (1) click on the red top bar that you will see on your iPhone or iPad. (2) Go to the Mirror for Samsung TV app and click on Stop Mirroring.
Limitations and known issues:
DRM
Some apps block Screen Mirroring. This means that application developers can choose themselves if they want to block Screen Mirroring. For instance, Netflix, Disney and AppleTV+ have decided to block this.
You can purchase the Mirror for Samsung TV Pro Version through an in app purchase.
The Pro Version has the following features:
1. Adds audio to the screen mirroring
2. Provides for free lifetime updates of the app
3. Gives the option to choose higher screen resolutions, like 720p and 1080p
* Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
* Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
* Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
* Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase.
* Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Great customer support
I needed this App to mirror a film from UKTV Drama programme playing on my MacBook to my Samsung smart TVs. It wasn’t showing the picture once the film started only the subtitles, I contact customer support through fb/Messenger and they very quickly advised me what to do. The picture was excellent, I’m glad I bought the app instead of watching it on my MacBook.

Not working after update
The app, from my iPhone 11, isn’t working at all since the most recent bug fix.

It works!
After thinking the app wasn’t working, I contacted support at Air Beam and received an immediate response with very good advice. Very simple and easy to sort out. The app is now working, but my only niggle is the time lapse between iPad and tv. Which means the sound on iPad and tv are out of sinc. Turning the volume down on iPad doesn’t work, as it it turns the volume down on tv.

Delay and not 1080p
It definitely works but there’s a 2 second delay between what you see on the tv and on your phone screen. The video quality is definitely not 1080p even when you select the right option. It also narrows massively in portrait mode - not sure why. Does the job though if that’s all you need and you don’t mind a slightly fuzzy picture.

Can’t cancel subscription
I wanted to mirror Apple TV from my iPad to Samsung. Apple don’t allow this. When I signed up it clearly says you can cancel via your account settings, there are no settings for this. I’ve had it tens mins I want my money back.

I’ve been using the app for around two years and strongly recommend it.
I use it on a daily basis to mirror from iPhone XS to Samsung TV.
On the one occasion which I had to contact the support staff (had some problems with my local settings), the response could not have been any better and my problem was solved within minutes and late at night.

Mirror for Samsung TV
Struggled to watch something through my iPad so decided to try and play it via my TV. Couldn’t get my tv and iPad to sync so chose to email the help option on the app, 4 email exchanges later over approx 14 mins and there it was mirroring my iPad on my 50” TV with great picture and sound quality.

Time lag

NowTV app doesn’t work.
After a fair amount of time trying to get the app to work I find out NowTV app will not screen mirror.
The app support team was great and we finally got the mirroring working. However once working, it refused to mirror from the NowTV app which is the only reason I paid for the app.
I think the devs need to list all apps it won’t work with otherwise you will just be gambling with your £5

I have just purchased app for my Samsung curved screen TVs. Picture quality is so poor it’s not worth watching - also picture does not take up whole screen so it had black bars both sides (approx 1/3 of screen).

Disappointing and not smooth!
I purchased this after having read multiple negative reviews and liaising with the customer service department who assured me it would work for me. Whilst the set up process was quick and easy and the functionality does work to a degree, I can’t stress enough that this does not perform as it should.
The streaming connection is established by broadcast recording NOT Airplay. Because of this, it is 100% impossible to stream footage without expecting jerky/jagged playback. It is not any way near as smooth as you’d like and therefore ruins the experience. This is not mentioned in the advertising of the app but is repeatedly expressed in the reviews section.
Would I recommend this app? ONLY if you are not put off by inaccurate playback.

Great app and amazing service
I tried several apps for screen mirroring before I found this one. There is a short delay from iPad to screen but it works great otherwise. It was tricky to set up but I have to say that the customer service was amazing. I emailed at 10pm on a Saturday night and received a response straight away. After a few emails, the issue was sorted and the app works great. Fab service and well worth the money. Thank you!

Was really hoping having paid for this app to be perfect however while showing a slide show of Christmas pictures to my family the pictures displayed on my tv are nothing like the quality that have been taken on my new iPhone 11, there is also a lag of around 5 seconds when switching pictures which to be fair I don’t mind but while watching video footage I had a 30 second delay which is just not good enough..... very disappointed hopefully these issues can be resolved

Fantastic - a mirror app that actual works!
I was a bit apprehensive about paying for this after using several other mirroring apps to try and get my iPhone to work with my Samsung TV unsuccessfully. But this one worked straight away, mirrors the phone perfectly via WiFi (all be it with a few seconds delay which is fine).
Can thoroughly recommend, I got this to watch the football on the big screen via my phone and it looks like it’s working (with sound) perfectly!

I had been trying all afternoon with different apps to try and stream something from my iPad to my smart Samsung tv. All of them didn’t work. Then I thought I’ll try this one even thought it was £4.99, well that’s the best fiver I’ve ever spent. I wanted to watch Facebook on my tv, but although it’s just 6 years old and in perfect condition, that was too old for Facebook. So I was putting up with the tiny phone screen till I discovered this app. Links up easily and instant sharing. Love it ... £5 app or new tv...easy decision!

Brilliant!
I got this yesterday so I could cast a gig that I wanted to watch online onto my TV.
It works really well. The picture quality looks great and the sound was perfectly synced.
Due to my own fault (I did not realise this but I had somehow added my phone to the list of blocked devices on the TV) I had some problems connecting my phone with the TV at first. I contacted the support team for the app and they came back really quickly to let me know what the problem might be even though it was a Saturday.
I do have an Apple TV which I accidentally left at my parents' house but this is actually so much better. It broadcasts everything on your screen unless there is DRM to block it (eg on Sky, Disney+ etc). So you can put your photos, e-mails, PowerPoint presentations etc. onto your TV screen if you like! The website that I was using to watch the gig tonight didn't work with Apple TV casting apparently, but it worked perfectly for me using this app.
I highly recommend this and I think it's good value for money. I really liked that I could just make a one-off purchase rather than pay a subscription like so many other apps.

Really Happy!
Superb for £5!! I was gutted that I had paid £1200 for a series 6, 65 inch Samsung tv to find out that Samsung was only going to backdate their AirPlay2 updates for series 7 and above 😭. After reading the reviews, I thought 💭 I’ve finally found an app and I’m not disappointed! There’s a a lag between your iPhone and the TV, but it works really well, especially for steaming films 🎥 and Football. The reviews say that’s there’s also really good support too, which even though I’ve not needed to use it, made it and even easier to spend £5. I’ve already recommended it to all my friends and family. Great work on the App!!

Apple show their arrogance again
This is on the Apple store (obviously) and yet there is no mention that apple block this apps use if trying to mirror Apple+ tv to your Samsung tv. It appears to mirror photos etc to your tv, but the reason I bought it is so I could watch Apple TV on a large screen. Apple, get your act together, you’re trying to promote Apple TV yet you do your usual unnecessary/ arrogant restrictions on use. If my son didn’t live in Australia and use an iphone I would ditch all Apple products.

Great app! I got it to mirror the yoga app on my phone for a better home workout. Works really well. I had a small hitch with my network and contacted the app support team. Couldn’t believe the quick reply! They had me sorted and up and running again in under 15 minutes and included resetting my tv, router and phone. Fantastic support team. Thank you!

3 second delay
From what I can see this app just records a 3 second video and broadcasts that to the TV.
For minor processing or photo sharing that is fine, however it’s not a true screen mirror as video calls, videos and any audio will not sound through the casted device and instead on your origin meaning you’ll be 3 seconds out always.
Don’t waste your money. Another fine example of apple products requiring you to need specific apple devices to work with other things.

Mirror for Samsung
I use mirror for Panasonic regularly on both my Panasonic TVs without any problems. I recently purchased mirror for Samsung but could not get it to connect to my Samsung TV.
Thinking it would probably never work, I tried the Facebook support page. Very surprisingly I got a reply within minutes and the problem was sorted instantly. I would thoroughly recommend these products and their support was excellent.

After trying various ways to screen mirror my iPhone XS with 2016 Samsung smart tv and failing I decided to fork out a fiver for this app which worked immediately much to my surprise. The latency is noticeable but this doesn’t matter for my purposes. I can now follow exercise routines from various apps on a bigger screen in my living room. Joy.

This app worked for me!
I got this app because I wasn’t prepared to pay the ridiculous subscription some other apps charge. Despite some of the reviews, I purchased this app, but I could not get it to work and it wasn’t seeing my TV. I was annoyed and disappointed so sent an email to the developer to this effect. They responded within 10 minutes and gave me a list of things to troubleshoot. I went through the steps and the issue was with my TV and WiFi set up, not the app. It took me all of 5 minutes to resolve the problem.
The app does what it says and mirrored videos from WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. There is a 2 second delay and I had to turn down the volume on the phone whilst turning up the sound on the TV, but this wasn’t an issue. I’m still exploring the app, but I can’t complain about its functionality and the prompt, excellent customer service I received. My advice would be to try it for yourself, get in touch if you’re having problems and request a refund if you can’t get it to work. As for me - I’m happy with my purchase.

Excellent mirroring app and support
I had been looking for a mirroring app for streaming photos and videos from my iPhone and iPad to my Samsung Smart TV but most have subscription fees. I found this App and I am glad I did.
This app is available for a reasonable one off fee to download.
I downloaded the app on my iPhone 6 and old iPad Air and followed the installation instructions provided to stream to my Samsung Smart TV (2015).
After a few minutes the TV showed network issues, even though iPad/iPhone and TV are off the same home WIFi router. Basically I got bombed out by the TV.
I sent a support request to the developers and got immediate response. The Support team tried a few things before advising me to install the App on the TV. This sorted the buffering issues immediately.
I am happy with the mirroring and the excellent support received. I would have given it 5 star if I had not needed support. Maybe put installing the App on the TV in the installation instructions?

Connection issue resolved
The app was not connecting to my tv. After only a limited number of text messages the issue was identified by the support team. Quite like this app, it’s straight forward to use. Frame rate does seem to depend on speed of internet transfer. Very happy with the support received.

Very disappointed in this app, after buying I was initially pleased that (whilst using the recommended dolphin web browser) it worked in displaying TED talks whilst I was completing a workout. However after about only 5 minutes the sound completely cut out. I restarted everything and yet again after 5 minutes the sound stopped working.

Frame rate kills this
Just casting a video from my phone, not streaming from net or anything. I’d rather it buffers instead of keeping it going but looking jerky... very average experience. Connection is solid but overall worthless if the video you’re casting is impacted...
Or give an option to optimise? Over hi speed internal Wifi it should be capable eh? If we can stream hi-def over the net, shouldn’t it?
£4.99 for subpar experience. Not good enough. It works but ultimately ruins the experience... I was hoping we’d found the way to cast our 4K home vids to a big screen but no. Apple play can manage it, so it’s not like the tech can’t cope. Even with the compromise of buffering I’d still be pleased to have an alternative but meh, thumbs down from me. Should have paid more attention to reviews... if improved I’ll update accordingly but for now, fail! Bet it works perfectly on Samsung to Samsung as Apple just works in their eco system, but universal protocols are used and it’s a disappointment. Holy grail, holy fail 😂👎🍎🔫💣

Decent App
A little latency and quality drop but to be expected with a mirroring program. Does what it’s says on the tin, works well with both my 2018 MacBook Pro and iPhone X, great sound to picture sync, and excellent customer service. ( product is used to show pics, vids and webpages with friends and family on a big screen, a Samsung series 8 65” QLED 4K ) so works fine for this. Keep the improvements coming guys!

Latest updates are brilliant
I bought this app today, having read the reviews and was a bit sceptical. No need, connected first time to my Samsung, photos, videos stream without issue. Videos from the internet also mirror without issue or sound sync problems and that was using the standard safari browser. Obviously previous reviewers had issues, but as it stands, with my iPhone XS, latest iOS update and Samsung update, this app works faultlessly.....I never write reviews but in this instance, the app really has solved my annoyance at Apple and Samsung not allowing simple functions like mirroring onto my big screen! Very happy!

Brilliant customer support
Had issues connecting to my Samsung tv, late Sunday night I contacted customer support expecting a reply in a couple of days. They replied within minutes and guided me through the setup process. Only tried the app shortly but looks and sounds good up to now.

Airplay
Brought the app yesterday and couldn’t initially connect to my Samsung TV. Team were very swift to resolve the problem. So far so good since, only downside I have noticed is a slight delay between what is running on phone to it reaching the TV, so sound is also out of sync meaning I have to have no volume on my phone when mirroring, which isn’t the end of the world! Overall impressed so far!!

Great
I have been trying for months to mirror my I phone and iPad to my Samsun smart tv without success until my daughter sent me a link to this app. Having purchased and installed it, after a minor hiccup ( my fault ) getting the mirroring to work I could not be more happy with it.
Mainly used for showing photo’s and photo videos on the tv from my iPad the quality of the mirroring if first class. Definitely a good buy
P.s every nickname I choose ( about 20 ) it will not accept, or allow me to send, so-nearly didn’t send review ???

Lag and drop-out = unsuitable for presenting
Although the app description recognises that the lag makes it unsuitable for gaming, it does claim it's suitable for presentations. Sadly, this is not my experience: stood just 6 feet from the router on a 5G connection, the lag was horrific and the connection dropped out within the first minute of use. (Fortunately I was just testing it). Easy to set-up and therefore to reconnect - but that’s not what you want to be doing when you’ve just started presenting! I’m sorry to say I wont be using this and can’t recommend it. Really was hoping it would be better.

So pleased
Initially it couldn’t find my TV and I thought I’d been completely ripped off! However did a firmware update on my Samsung TV and my TV appeared. There is a delay but I mostly want this to show my photos or short videos so that’s not really a problem. Turned the volume down on my iPhone and let the TV play the sound. I normally wait a few weeks before writing a review but I’m so pleased I’ve waited 3 minutes!! Very simple once your TV shows up. I didn’t realise before I downloaded the app and paid that it connected via wifi.. so make sure you have a working WiFi connection on your a TV before you buy.

Disappointing
I can not hide my disappointment over this app. I had looked at all the possible options and found this paid app to be the best option, however it frustrated me right from the beginning. I had to jump through hoops to get my tv and iPad to recognise one another and when I eventually did every time I moved out of the app to go to the page I wanted to broadcast, it disconnected. Eventually though more luck than anything else I managed to get my picture broadcast to my tv only to find the pixilated quality when there was any movement on the screen very distracting. More disappointing was the length of the lag between iPad and tv, and since there is no way to mute the iPad but still maintain the volume on the tv, it is impossible to watch one or the other. I feel very cheated by this app and having to pay for something that is practically useless to me is not acceptable.

Brilliant
This app is brilliant, just what I was looking for. Had a problem getting the app to connect at first but the support team were marvellous and very quick with their support. Realised after a few attempts that it was my own stupidity that was stopping it from working. Once I got my brain to work it was no problem.

Brilliant app and superb Support!!
So I bought this app as I struggled to get any of the free ones to work. Initially, I couldn’t get this app to connect to my TV so I messaged the tech support who literally got back to me within about 5 minutes and spent a few minutes working through my problem to resolution. I absolutely could not believe how brilliant and fast they were. App now works perfectly and is ace. I do feel that the support team deserves a huge digital fistbump 🤜🏻🤛🏻 as they were just brilliant. Couldn’t be more happy and the app works perfectly!!

Terrible Quality!
Not sure why, but the video quality when streaming to my Samsung QLED is horrible! The frame rate is lower and the general image is horrible! My network is super fast, TV is connected via Ethernet and I am right next to my 5Ghz Wi-Fi with my iPhone, and still this app fails to deliver a solid performance. I would like a refund, as this app has lied about how well it does things! Nowhere does it say that this app kills video quality and even image quality when streaming to the TV. It is useless, it’s a lie, and it is a money grab! Do not believe what they say it is, because it certainly is not! Please issue a refund as I will never be using this app again! The poor quality is actually insulting!

Not bad!
Overall I’m quite impressed with the app,
Graphics are pretty good. And it works with streaming gameplay,
However I’m only giving it 4 stars because of the 6 second delay from iPad to tv.
I can time it accurately, as I was playing Fortnite, which has a timed countdown throughout the game.
I was hoping for a bit better for £4.99,

One of the best apps I have
Being able to mirror to my Samsung 49” smart TV is a great way to show a room full of people what I have on my iPad screen.
In my opinion my photos look better too, brighter, more colourful, and seem to lose no definition despite their impressive enlargement.
I have forgotten how much I paid for this app, but whatever it was, it was well worth the money in terms of helping me get the best out of my TV and my iPad.

Not really clear
I had very high hopes when watching a video tutorial about this app and how it works well and can be used for multiple apps.
Once purchasing the app and setting up the iPad to the TV, I found myself very disappointed that it wasn’t unable to stream the videos I wished on to the tv.
After multiple goes and on multiple devices I was still left in the same situation; not being able to watch the iPad on the TV but have just spent £4.99 on a app that is only taking up storage rather than serving a purpose.

Not really what I want
So trying to watch sky go on my tv, like all reviews say sky are a well oiled machine, so didn’t work. However I tried using 123movies, to watch my movie. The site worked fine and mirrored onto the tv. HOWEVER there is no sound transferred, there is a lag of about 4 seconds, which means the audio coming out the iPad is 4 seconds behind the film or show you’re watching. I expected this to work like Apple TV, it does not. If you wanna view a slide show with no sound of pics then this is the app for you. If you wanna stream video with no sound it might be ok, but if you want a cheap version of Apple TV then you’re wasting your time. If I could have a refund I would greatly appreciate that. The developers didn’t explain all that I have said so I feel it was miss sold. If I was told it doesn’t send sound and has a lag of 4 seconds I Definitely wouldn’t have bought it. Definitely need to add that to the ‘what it does’ section.

Great
This is going to be a wonderful review on this app. App is great small lag in the mirror, as you would expect nothing major though. The think I was mostly looking forward to using it for was the football so sky Go and BT sports. However BT sports works like a Swiss watch.. Sky Go won’t let you broadcast there shows. In a bit shell well worth the £5 to get everything else on! All the free ones are worthless after trying just about all of them!

No use if travelling
Purchased to use at an airbnb while travelling in Europe. Apartment had new Samsung TV supporting mirroring and content running fine on iPad and mobile. When I tried to mirror the app said content provider app didn’t support mirroring. Support told me to reset mobile, router, TV and start again. Same happened and then support ignored me. The connection worked to the tv By the way! I actually closed ALL my apps and tried to mirror the home screen but got the same message. Support poor and can’t comment on the app as it didn’t work.

Great APP and fantastic support
Been using this app for a few months and works perfectly . Has an an issue on my iPad where it stopped working but I contacted support and within a few mins had it up and running ! This app I would recommend 100 percent !

Brilliant
My wife is bed bound and suffering from Dementia, this App has enabled me to show photographs and videos from my iPad on the TV which is on the wall opposite the bed. It brings back memories of our family, holidays and so much improves her day. My son set it up for me and we use it daily. Thank you whoever developed this app, Peter Smith

Great App
I don’t normally rate apps but this one I felt the need to do so as it works perfect and really easy to set up. If you have any doubts please don’t...I did and after a couple of days of trying other apps/ways of trying to connect to my smart tv I thought I’d give this a go...glad I did and worth every penny :-)

Downloaded this app as I have tried forever to get my iPhone to connect to my Samsung tv but nothing was working. This app does not disappoint, it connected first time and has been working very well. The only downside is that there is lag switching between apps or moving from one photo to another so if this could be improved then this app would be perfect😌
