It was okay
Now, I know the title of this review isn’t great. But it was okay. The storyline was actually very interesting, very Dan Brown ish with hints of Forever, and even National Treasure vibes. So if those are the types of books, series or movies you’re into then this game is great. A lot of puzzles to get through and logical thinking to open new dialogues and actions. Unlike Assassins Creed or Resident Evil the hidden items are not in front of you, you really have to first. A few gaps within the timeline however especially with Choke and Boris, felt like more could’ve been added because it felt a lot of information was missing and when it was added seemed a bit random. A lot about Miguel/John’s past lives could’ve been added, especially when Miguel/Yago go with Gine’s to retrieve the book. My rating would’ve been higher if a bit more attention to the storyline was added. Would’ve also been 5 stars if the game didn’t glitch so often.

Really in-depth story, varied, beautifully animated. You can tell a lot of work and passion went into this game. The puzzles are challenging and fun.

So clunky
I didn’t get through even the first part - such a palaver to use or combine items - I just didn’t have the patience. Maybe this is just a style of game I haven’t come across before but I find it clumsy and difficult. And the story - having to stab the pig with a red hot poker was almost the limit. The limit was the prospect of getting the pig to eat someone’s face off. That’s when I decided I’d had enough.

Just loved this game.. played it over a couple of days, quite amusing, Would recommend to anyone who loves point and click adventure games this will keep you going for a while.

Brilliant
Loved this game. Hours of game play a great point and click that I didn’t want to end. Took time to understand how it worked but once understood I was hooked. More like this needed

Another gem!
I wish there were hundreds of these games as I don’t think I’d ever get bored they’re so dark and delicious! Good puzzles, amazing story and characters along with smooth gameplay and awesome graphics. Love love love this game!

Yesterday origins
This is a brilliant game. Got to the part where I need to pull thread so as to ring bell but nothing happens. Re-started level and the same thing happen. Please help. Would like to get past this so I can continue. Then will give 5 stars. I am playing on iPad Pro

If Assassin's Creed and Broken Sword got together...
The perfect distraction for my holiday! The story had flavours of AC and Broken Sword while being distinct and well told in its own right. The graphics are great, the game is long (took me a few days to complete) and the puzzles hit the sweet spot of tricky enough to make me think but always logical. I hit one (minor) bug when an inventory item wouldn't close but reopening the game cleared it and the frequent autosaves meant I lost nothing but a few seconds. Top quality stuff, and I look forward to more!

Spectacular Addictive Puzzler
I would never imagined that a point and click adventure could be so enthralling. Cleverly created and wonderfully drawn settings, a plot that is by turns disturbingly dark but also very humorous. The two art dealer thugs are particularly entertaining. The puzzles are difficult enough to mean you might have to resort to Googling (perish the thought) for the answer. When is the sequel out??
