Well I managed 1 shave and now won’t stay connected for more than 10 seconds, this is probably the worst smart app I’ve ever encountered. The shaver itself is very good but I am very disappointed that Philips can’t seem to get their act together with regards to app development I have the same issues with other Philips apps

This is hopeless. It won’t stay connected to the phone. Have to keep forgetting device then after reconnecting if I blink connection is lost again.

Razor is great. App is useless. Won’t connect at all. Tried multiple times and even tho it finds my s7000 it won’t connect. It’s no great loss as it’s a gimmick anyway.

Happy with the shaver but the app keeps losing Bluetooth connection and de registering the shaver. Every time you try using guided shave you have to go through the ritual of forgetting Bluetooth device - switch off Bluetooth - uninstall app- switch off phone- restart phone - reinstall app. Re pair shaver to Bluetooth.

After a recent IOS update the issue seems to have resolved itself so far the shaver has reconnected to Bluetooth and the app by itself

This app worked with my 7960 for over a year but since the last update it refuses to connect to the shaver. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled and done all the other spells suggested to no avail. So at present it is of no use. Before that the only useful thing the app gave was the battery level so it’s not a great loss. I’ll be deleting it.

The latest update has now lost all account and shaver registration details...its as if the app has completely reset itself for no reason.

Fortunately been able to log back into my account to keep shaving history, but shaver registration details for the extend warranty have disappeared, and keeps asking me to register my shaver every time I open the app.

Also the app still thinks the cleaning cycle is a guided shave 😡

Why do i need an app to use a shaver ? I have used an electric shaver for 30 years without any problems so why do i need an app ? The new shaver is worse than my old model as runtime is not shown on the shaver itself. All the app does is tell you if your moving too fast , hey app maybee im in a rush ? Or maybee ive got time DELETED NO STARS

I have the series 7000 wet and dry and I’ve done all it’s told me to do but still won’t recognise it when I try to link it to app

Don’t take a breath or move the shaver in any way that’s not small fast circles or the app will nag you big time. Also it keeps settling it to extra sensitive and I’ve no idea why. Now it tells me I’m taking too long to shave. I’ve been using Philips razors for 30 years but obviously wrongly!

I have always suffered from sensitive skin around my neck and chin. So, searching for the perfect tool or device has been a challenge. First impressions of the device itself, very sleek, high quality, premium and futuristic. It comes with 3 attachments in total, The Smart-Click Beard Styler, Facial Brush and Shaver. Also included is a really robust hard card to protect the device from dust and damage during traveling.

Instructions and downloading the app onto my iPhone was very simple and easy. I felt the question on initial setup were very in depth and assumed this data would play a part in its personalisation.

The app really is fanctastic, the real-time guideance gives great visual feedback whilst shaving providing helpful tips and suggestions to obtain a better shave. Once you're finished, the app shows a tracked progress of your shaving and asks additional questions to provide more feedback and advice. Very personalised and tayliored.

The shaver holds a good charge with a changeable visual of battery remaining via the app and a icon on the shaver.

With respects to the results, I have no more redness or burning. Perhaps for the first time ever the closest shave I've ever had. And my skin is feeling fantastic and looking great.

I would not just highly recommend this Smart Shaver for sensitive skin users but anyone! With the different settings, this Shaver truly is suitable for all!

Been part of the smart shaver program for some time now and this app has helped me to eradicate some unsightly red skin issues under my chin. Combined with the Philips Smart shaver 7000 it has boosted my confidence. I can honestly say I won't be going back to blade shaving

Ok so this is my first ever review so I hope it helps readers, I've never had the time nor the intent on sharing my experience with others however on this occasion as I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial the Phillips series 7000 before it's release all I can say is it's amazing. I was already using a Phillips one blade shaver and the difference is worth every penny if your considering changing or have any sort of skin problem, It's so delicate on you face you do not have to go over the same are over and over.
