co-star is like my daily companion, gives me guidance on how I should tackle my day and everything else thrown at me. From the bottom of my heart I will genuinely tell you there are no superficial predictions, but only a spiritual, heartfelt companion who will be with you in all times difficult or happy. I have been using it for three years and to be honest your day goes the same no matter you read what it has for you or not. It’s just an affirmation and simply a guidance of what to expect for someone who feels like they don’t have especially strong emotional connections to people. Got my “Big three” wrong!

Co-Star was the first app I used to track my 3 signs. I just believed I was a Cancer rising because this app said so… well when I decided to learn more about my chat I discovered that I am in fact well and truly a Gemini rising instead!
I feel deceived and disappointed. Sadly I cannot change this and can’t use this app anymore due to it being inaccurate. I enjoy this app otherwise.

Decent but too whimsical

- somewhat accuracy in terms of power ins, and what your struggling with

- the wording of the app for is too coded and tries to be deep but instead they can just use simple wording and more direct approach to say the same thing
- like the do’s & donts bit I never understand. It’ll be like dos “feathered boa, recycled hair bands and caviar yoghurt” like who tf even has those things?
- it’s charging people a lot for features now, I like other apps because you can access things via watching an ad or something but Costar wants you to buy stuff.
All in all I like the design or the app, but the way they word things. You know exactly whose writing these horoscopes and who they targeting 😅🤣

Enlightening and uncomfortable truth

I downloaded Co-star in addition to my regular astrology app. I didn’t think it was possible for another app to rival my original. I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. This app provides a different level of insight, but thankfully remains in step with my other app. Good to know astrology remains consistent! I like the design of Co-star and how it seems to reveal uncanny things you didn’t even think were relevant, only to uncover a certain action, or behaviour, was exactly in line with the energies around you at that time. This is definitely an app worth including in your life! I find it more detailed on every front and encourage you to try it!

Negative messages

I haven’t had a positive message from co star In years. Every other astrology app I use is helpful and insightful, yet this one just continues to say “today is not your day” or something about disregarded feelings, being clumsy, etc. It’s honestly hurtful and I will delete the app again now because it does nothing but make me feel bad.

Would be a year of unrest and shattering significance in the world. I didn’t predict the pandemic but I did predict placards being waved for justice for the people and eventually a different political system such as coalitions in the UK. It’s a bummer it’s never worked for me

After literally less than a week of using it, it started having trouble connecting. I have deleted it, redownloaded it, deleted my data and have done everything I could think of to make it work, but every time I’m met with “Trouble Connecting, looks like there’s a network issue, make sure you’re connected to the internet” (which of course I am). So I really wanted to like this app but for me it’s been useless all along.

Anxiety inducing

I found some parts of this app to be great and insightful but sometimes I think the advice is too brutal. People need honesty for sure but I think looking at this app and seeing the places where you have trouble to be told “you’re going to go through a significant breakup” or you have trouble ahead of you isn’t healthy. If we constantly hear negative messages our brains latch on to that and can perpetuate. That’s what I found myself doing. So for however insightful this app is I had to delete because I found it was becoming a negative source for my emotions. A little toxic in some ways.

Only looks the part

My partner and I use this app and when we click on the friends option it tells us to do us to the opposite to each other. Eg: ‘you are feeling wild, and she is cautious’ and on hers she’s feeling wild and I’m cautious. How confusing! Also, the readings make no sense to what’s actually going on in our lives. It just seems as if it randomly decides what to display based on an algorithm of some sort. Wouldn’t recommend it. Nothing on it is ringing any truth. You will be be disappointed.

Sometimes good

When I got this originally it was great and I felt it really helped me make positive changes in my life. Now however, every time I check it it’s the same message, basically worked the exact same and it’s been like this for a good while- to the point I barely check the app anymore. I don’t know if the writers just got bored or if the system just ran out of words to say but it’s the same thing every day I check it and I may not check it for a week and then check it for a week non stop to see if it says the same things- which it does.

In the name of science, this duo had to be tested (again), just to confirm the apps know what they’re talking about… As two avid researchers, it would be inconclusive to rely purely on one encounter as a source of truth. The most reliable data, is collected from various sources, in this metaphor various sources = multiple dates.
It was no surprise that two Pisces, who enjoy pasta, were immersed in not only the food last night. It was lucky, the cuisine wasn’t Asian, as he might’ve thought the meal would be situated on a cruise. From the second their eyes met, it was apparent that nobody would be playing it cool, not even the height difference could restrict their intimacy, or as others would call it PDA 😇. Given we’re such nerds, I think it’s only fair to continue collecting data, just to be sure Tommy continues to deliver...

App crashes

I’ve had this app for a year and it’s been great until the last month. It’s thrown me out no end of times, I’ve had to rejoin and find several different user names. Today it had kicked me out for the last time. It’s quite frustrating as I did like the app. But having to register 7-8 times in the last month is a joke. You can’t sign in, you have to rejoin. So what ever you have done, or changed in this app has ended up me leaving this app. This would have had a 5 star... not if I can’t use it.

Payed horoscope?

I love co star and think it’s a wonderful app that is very interesting to check everyday for my new horoscope. However, yesterday I noticed there was an option for me to read in depth about my relationships if I made an offer. Me being interested, I made an offer of $3 and waited. I woke up this morning to find my offer was accepted so I opened the tab, payed and I still couldn’t see my relationships horoscope? It stayed the way it originally was and told me that my offer had been accepted but I couldn’t click or read anything. I thought it was most likely because I needed to refresh the page so I clicked off it and now I can’t find it anywhere. Quite disappointed.

Good, needs improvement

When we receive our charts we should have the option to have it as a wheel or as a table. I, amongst others find it easier to read off a wheel, and I know that some people mag disagree. Still, I think that there should be an option of which one we would like. I also think that you need a guide on how to read the planets, signs and houses. Otherwise, really accurate.

I can’t say anything negative about this app. It’s so on point m, I use it every day and everyone asks what it is when I post screen shots. excellent app if you developing interest from pop astrology and will teach you more about your chart and how the different planets are affecting your individual energy, however not so good for defining aspects in free version, but is mention of them. Really good for a day to day analysis, proved to be nothing but accurate for myself and anything that wasn’t - I understood or made sense to my person later.

Easy to use and fun

I’m a casual user, don’t know if I believe but it is very accessible to me - who doesn’t even know the dates of the signs let alone all this houses stuff lol.
It’s therefore fun. The different bits of info and advice are interesting and it’s fun to try and match it to your life and think about different aspects of your life.
Open the app anytime you want and have a read. It’s very relaxed.
The UI is great - I love the layout and how you get a summary on one page or a detailed description all on another page, very simple.
It has some interesting tidbits about the general mechanisms behind astrology which spark my curiosity from time to time, maybe I’ll learn more about it.
Thanks to the creators of this app, it makes me happy :)

surprisingly accurate

I downloaded this app just to keep track of my natal placements, not thinking the daily forecasts would be good. I was so so wrong!! The daily forecasts are spot on, and the description of my natal placements resonates with me. Not to mention how simple yet beautiful the app design is, thank you to the people running it :)

I never normally write reviews

I really loved this app, I would've give it 5 stars until todays message. The daily update it sends is usually some words of wisdom, todays was bizarre it read 'keep your passport handy, keep cash, keep water and batteries, collect your meds and loved ones, just incase, and silence your phone' Basically asking to prepare for an emergency & by the sound of it, an extreme emergency. I suffer from severe anxiety & this had made it sky rocket. I never usually let my horoscope determine how I feel, but I worry this daily message has been sent to someone else too as it can trigger fear in people, especially people who go to horoscopes to give them some sort of structure in their lives when they suffer from anxiety & need some sort of distraction. Will have to delete the app after this unfortunately.

Accurate

The only App that predicted the pandemic

I love this app so much. It was the only app that correctly predicted the upcoming pandemic. As a result I was able to put all my affairs in order and prepare myself for the worst. I have lost several people close to me during all this but I know for a fact they didn’t read their horoscopes. I just wish they had then perhaps they could have better prepared themselves, then maybe, just maybe, they would still be here today. Thank you guys for keeping me alive and safe.

Absolutely incredible, outstanding never been done before x

A review can’t even sum up how much I love this app, astrology is weird anyway how it knows so much about you and how you relate to others but Costar takes this to another level. With daily reminders of what you may be going through or should think about, the fact you can add friends and see how they relate to you during specific times, and the way it explains your chart to you in detail, fabulous. Couldn’t recommend any other astrology app to be honest! Thank you Costar, I know you’re a small team and I with many others appreciate all you do.

Highly recommend !

Although I haven’t had this app very long the readings it has given me have been truly eye opening and highly resonating.
I’ve always searched for a horoscope that delivers me such a personal daily insights that’s based not just on my sun sign but indeed my entire birth chart.
Really recommend you download it and considering you don’t have to pay a penny for such a professional and brilliant app, what have you got to loose ? Kudos to whoever made this app :)

I love it.

I genuinely love this app so much. For a while now I have been looking for something like so, that can give me heads up and explanations of why things are the way they are in my day to day life.
Sometimes I do just try to avoid looking in the app but at the end of the day when I do come back to it, it somehow summarises my day and how I felt throughout it. I really do recommend this app because of its uniqueness, accuracy and lovely way of the way it was designed and styled 😍

Break up

I didnt believe in any of this sorta stuff. My gF downloaded the app as it was her sorta thing. On the day that my GF broke up with me i received a notification from the app that said
“Keep moving forward.” I would usually say it’s all bs, but this particular moment was kinda wild. Maybe the stars are onto somthing....maybe it’s the algorithm or whatever....either way, download dis shid, isssssa gooood’n. xoxoxo

Accurate Daily Description & Life Advice

I’ve always had been intrigued by star signs but have been sceptical of astrology. My friend recommended Co-Star to me about a month ago and the accuracy and relevance of the descriptions in every aspect is incredible (and quite spooky!). This app knows me too well

I can’t really even put into words how revolutionary this app is. To put simply sometimes I avoid checking it’s insights to let the day play out as it wants to without me having any expectations and it somehow always summarises my day and feelings down to the reasons why I’m having them perfectly.
Being able to see relationships with others and their signs allows me to try to be accommodating if I see they're going through frustrations or are feeling lonely, often leads to them messaging me by thanking me and saying exactly how they’ve been feeling.
The advice given in this is always helpful to read and often times helps me to approach things with a different perspective in troubling times. I had this app years ago when I was in a few depression and it’s insights reflected that, I reinstalled it recently as my life has changed to see if it would match; and it literally became a transcript of my new perspective and thoughts, this to me was definitely enough to prove its authenticity.

The App Signed Me Out

Co-Star is an amazing app. I was thoroughly impressed with its accurate predictions and somewhat addicted. However, I checked in the app for around the 4th time of the day to read over something that spiked my curiosity previously in the day. And, to my surprise, the app had logged me out without giving me notice and I couldn’t log back in. When I tried imputing my phone number it rejected it as it was already in use. Is this a bug? I would really like to use this app again, despite the problems I’ve face, so please help me!

The daily notifications are succinct, direct and to the point. They generally resonate immediately with my inner sentiment and give me a necessary push to face what I already have inside. Best App of it’s kind

This app is truly amazing due to the accurate daily insights it offers. If you live with it for a while and are open to its teachings then it offers comfort and spiritual support unparalleled with any other app of its kind. I would advice anyone who doesn’t already know the exact hour & minute of their birth date, to find out for the sharpest possible accuracy, then simply vibe with this app for a while and find yourself in tune. I hope they don’t change anything about this app ever, as it is totally perfect!

Sign up options

I second what a previous reviewer said regarding privacy. There should be an option to sign up via email, as there are people who do not want to share/do not even have a facebook, and also do not want to give their phone number. Given the GDPR rules in the UK, I am surprised they are still allowed to do this, and as far as supporting the app, this can be done through non-personalised advertising so I just do not see the justification in asking for that kind of personal data, especially seeing as you already give your date of birth which combined with facts from your facebook could inadvertently give up enough security information to access secure accounts.

Great fun, and uncannily perceptive!

With a lot of horoscope prediction apps the language and content is less than intelligent. However, you quickly get the sense that this app has been built by smart folks, who not only are wise to what they are doing, but inject so many points to meditate on that I am simply awed by how good it makes me feel, with even the shadow stuff. Well worth your time.

Love it

I have been using Co Star for a few months now and I’m so happy with it. It’s usually accurate and I love how much care/creativity goes into writing the messages. I find that certain lines will stick with me all day as I think about my day. One criticism I have is that I would like there to be weekly/monthly options! But this is of course just a suggestion. I also love the bite size messages which appear as a notification every day. These are great when busy and almost more effective than reading tons of info and not digesting it.

Data privacy?

What with the whole Facebook scandal and data privacy going on, I am little surprised the only option to use this app which requires your personal info is to sign up via Facebook or your phone number. Sorry but I don’t trust that at all. Most apps only require an email and yet for some reason with this app that’s not even an option. I don’t touch Facebook and I don’t like sharing my phone number (if Scorpio’s built the app they already should know how private Scorpio’s are!) such a shame because it seems to have good reviews otherwise.

First Thoughts

Very impressed. Where are the creator’s based? Would be interested to hear more about the AI involved. Did any of you study philisophy?
In terms of usability main thing i noticed is you need to make the feedback section re-accessible so that, when reviewing, you can go back and read the words whilst you’re replying. Very insightful still!

i love this app! very neat and beautiful interface and the content is always at its best- thank you for creating costar i feel like I have a personal astrologer on my phone 😊 however i would love if you’d include an option to highlight text in one of the next updates...! there are some very poignant sentences i would love to add to my notes folder/ highlight on a tab in the app for future reference 😊

Very Useful

Very useful app for someone like me who needs to have some scientific information as well as daily horoscopes. This app has definitely opened new doors for me helping me to understand myself and those around me. Would definitely recommend to those who are new to and curious about astrology.

Could do more

The style of the info is really well-written and accessible (especially after the most recent update), but it feels a little empty - it’d be useful if there were more info on the houses, a feature to add the charts of friends and family who don’t have the app themselves, etc. I’ll look forward to it getting more functionality in future though.
