Since the app was updated I cannot keep my hearing aids connected to the app. I have to constantly keep pairing my hearing aids to the app and it disconnects while in use

It worked great until I was prompted to upgrade to the new version. Now it keeps losing the connection to my hearing aids. And I’ve tried EVERYTHING. Deleted and reinstalled the app, twice. ‘Forgotten’ the previous Bluetooth pairings. And the tech support for the app is basically non existent to end users.

‘Update’ 1.43.0 has just broken everyone’s hearing aid control. Do you bother beta testing prior to release or just expect us to do this for you?
Same issue as others are reporting. Connection to aids is lost once app is closed, launch app again and aids are not found/connected. Can be re ‘paired’ with app but are lost again on next launch. V frustrating. I said FRUSTRATING.

Last update is a disaster
Since the recent update I have spent hours trying to get my hearing aids to connect and stay connected. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app so many times I’ve lost count. Is it possible to return the app to its previous state? It is now impossible to use my mobile phone to adjust the volume of my hearing aids etc. The BeMore app is now useless to me

Had the previous version and it was fine. With the latest version ‘Status’ gives ‘Hearing aids not connected’ within an hour. Absolutely useless. Can we have this fixed quickly. Being deaf is not practical!!!

Dear Support Team,
I am writing to report ongoing problems with the BeMore app since the latest update. Unfortunately, the update has made the app very unreliable and difficult to use on a daily basis.
The app frequently loses connection with my hearing aids, which means I have to reconnect and repair them several times each day. This is extremely frustrating and disruptive, especially as I rely on my hearing aids throughout the day for normal communication.
Before the update, the app worked consistently without these issues. Since updating, the connection drops repeatedly, and the hearing aids often need to be repaired again before they will function properly through the app.
I would appreciate it if you could investigate this problem and advise on a solution as soon as possible. If there are troubleshooting steps, a rollback option, or a fix planned in a future update, please let me know.

Latest update major issue
The latest update disconnects hearing aids from the Bemore app when the app is closed. Full repairing is needed each time this occurs. This happens on both iPhone and iPad running iOS 26.3. Problem has only started after app update. Same problem also occurs with partners hearing aids.

Invaluable addition to hearing aids
I’ve been using the app for a year now and it is my default method of controlling my hearing aids - I rarely use the buttons on the aids themselves. I find it easy to use and comprehensive in its scope.
The only enhancement that I would really value is Apple CarPlay functionality so that settings can be accessed from my car’s touchscreen while driving.

I’ve been struggling with this lately, whenever I’m in my car I have a constant whine in my ears that nobody else can hear🧏♀️ I’ve even tried driving with windows open. Also quite often the aids won’t connect either the app, I have to use the app or my hearing aids are useless. Deaf discrimination is still rife out there, even medical professionals who should know better just shout at me, so everyone around me hears but I still can’t. Also going into some buildings my hearing aids cut out completely.

Crackling sound when ringing
When the phone rings, instead of a clear ringing sound it crackles. Spoke to the audiologist and his response was that I should get used to it. My previous hearing aids didn’t do this at all

The updated version of the app no longer recognises my hearing aids. So I asked it to “pair new hearing aids” and it connected… But when I tried to connect again, once again it couldn’t find them. I don’t want to have to go through the pairing process every single time. Do better!

Great App
This App enables hearing devices to be turned up or down in different environments. Some work for me and some do not. I find in a pub/restaurant I cannot find the right level to hear clearly. In an everyday environment they work really well.
You have to use the different sounds/levels to find which will give you the best performance.

Not Great Now
Been using for 18+ months. Today app fails to recognise one of my hearings aids. Deleted/ reloaded app + reset phone cache etc. App constantly says it can only find the right aid, even when it’s the left one that I try to set up and the right has no battery in it. So I can configure the left even though it initially sees it as the right. When I try to pair both aids it still only finds the right. Wasted hours trying to get this working. Used to be a reliable app. Not so now.

Awful app and company. Fleecing the NHS with overpriced hearing aids. How much do they charge for what is essentially an AirPod? Retains details of Bluetooth devices even after reset. These devices have provided me with “quality of life” changing benefits. They allow me to enjoy High Fidelity again after years of listening to my music as though listening through a pillow. Good App
Good basic app. Recently I’ve found the link to iPhone 15 drops in one ear. Then a red warning pops up for the one not linking. Fixed by opening the iPhone functions and making sure both aids have the same volume set. Somehow, even when ‘change independently’ is not set on the iPhone, they are sitting on different volumes and they get confused. I adjust them to the same volume, then turn ‘change independently’ on and off again. That fixes it.

The BeMore app is quite slow to react when I want to change something.
The speed has improved slightly over the past month.
Compared to the previous app, things have gotten worse.
It may be the new hearing aids are not as compatible!

Poor stability
While this app has fantastic functionality which enables me to set my own parameters unfortunately the stability of connectivity is poor. I constantly need to fiddle about to restore Bluetooth to the app despite my phone showing a stable connection. Shame because otherwise it’s really good.

Can help in tricky Audio situations
Mostly ok but if left in background after you have opened it, it will run the battery down. I have to close it ( iOS) as soon as the event I am at is finished. Otherwise I am left with a dead phone.

Quite Excellent
This delightfully simple app is far better than its star rating would suggest. It gives you control of frequency response and volume for each ear, and provides filters, including, for cyclists, elimination of serious wind noise.

I’ve only given 1 star as there’s no option to put 0 stars.
Got my first single hearing aid today courtesy of the NHS. Typical rubbish compared to going private and being fleeced a couple of K for one that works.
My audiologist tried to set it up a few times before telling me to try again at home and if necessary, delete the app and try again.
So far I’ve mashed to pair the device with the app but when trying to accept the T&T for data, it lets me choose ‘accept’ but then pops up that’s there was an issue and to reset again.
I’ve tried multiple times I’ve the past 24 hours with no success and although I can control the volume, that’s about all I can do. No online services are available due to not registering my online acceptance of services.
I’m on the verge of taking it back and demanding that the audiologist either sorts it or replaced it with one that functions, even if it means giving me a more expensive one at the cost to the NHS. I pay my National Insurance and technically this is a trading Standard issue.

A Decent App with Room for Improvement
First of all, I don’t quite understand all these bad reviews stating bad or unstable connections.
If the hearing aids are disconnecting from the phone then it’s at iOS level and not the app.
In my experience on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, the app has been very stable and keeps connection to my Ambio Smart hearing aids unless I force quit the app.
In the app you can adjust the basic volume, switch between different programs (if setup by your audiologist).
The slightly more advanced stuff you can adjust :
Bass, Mid, Treble to optimise your sound preference.
Noise Reduction Level to suit the environment you’re in.
Microphone Pattern (Dependent on programming and model) to suit if you’re talking to a group or one on one.
Wind Guard (Dependent on programming and model) is to reduce loud wind noise in windy conditions.
What I’d like to see:
Widgets, it would be much easier to switch modes with a single widget or check battery level.
Accurate battery level reader, if there’s a way to get a battery level on any hearing aids that would be welcome.
Advanced 10 band equaliser to adjust the sound as you almost would with an audiologist.
This won’t be for everyone but maybe put a advanced setting to activate this or base it on the experience level in the patient profile.

Hearing aids
I found them very disappointing.
Yes you get great features that allows to set them up for any situation. But they cut out quite a lot. Every time I look left my right side goes silent,only comes back when I look forward or right. Also sound quality is reduced due to some kind of interference and distortion.
Sound great for conversing indoors and watching tv but playing music is on and off.
But an improvement on my previous ones.

Decent experience but lacks iOS integration
The BeMore app represents a significant jump in my experience with NHS hearing aids, making it easier to change settings and not get “lost” amongst other programmes via the standard onboard toggle buttons. It is a shame to not have better functionality with iOS, including widgets, and Apple Shortcuts integration - being able to quickly disable the multi-mic from the Home Screen, or increase the volume / bass when iPhone connects to a car Bluetooth device would offer significant quality of life improvements- I hope to see this added soon.

Good app overall, especially as first time after 30 years of wearing hearing aids without app access, my only criticism would be that it would be so much more handy if you could add it to your widgets on iPhone so you can find the app quickly especially when out and about and you need to change a setting.

An annoying App
Time and again I have to reinstall this App as often the App will only connect one hearing aid even with new batteries etc. Getting assistance appears impossible unless the hearing aids are working/connected. When it works it is very good.

Good app but needs improvement
Good little app for my NHS hearing aids but the app needs to show battery level/strength for each hearing aid so l know when to replace them. The beeping sounds for each hearing is Not always recognisable. So telling me battery levels in app would be much easier.

Buttons and controls unusable by v.i and hearing impaired user
I have been using this app for four years or so and for the most part, I can use it. However, as a blind person, who uses speech software on his phone, the controls are on usable for the finer adjustments that I am supposed to be able to make on my hearing aid. This seems to be because there is a distinct lack of textual labelling on said buttons and controls. Will this be corrected in future updates?… I certainly hope so, because this could be an invaluable tool for everybody, not just the sighted. Thanks.

Junk!
Terrible, incredibly unreliable app that makes the life of a hearing aid user even more difficult. But it does harvest data well I expect. Honestly save yourself the 20 mins each time you go through all the stages multiple times a day and don’t download this. It’s infuriating and humiliating GN should be ashamed of themselves capitalising upon people with impairments and disability through providing an app that doesn’t do what is described. I managed 3 phone calls linked to my aids and all the time the app stated it was not connected then after that the app completely failed to connect and had disconnected. Total junk and when your job and well-being are at stake it’s no joke.

Good App - mostly!
Have been issued with GN Danalogic hearing aids by the NHS - big improvement over my old aids . I have the iPhone 12 mini and I have to charge it each day now ( often went 2 days between charging before installing this App) but not a problem. The App does disconnect from Bluetooth if not used for some time- solution is easy- just swipe down the control screen and turn Bluetooth off and immediately on again. The App connects with the hearing aids every time.
Now for the good news- the App is brilliant- it allows me to alter bass, mid and treble frequencies. I can alter volume levels of each aid independently if I wish, I can boost speech clarity; increase noise filtering etc. I have found a setting that’s particularly good at home for TV and with this App I have saved the settings as a Favourite ( which is effectively an extra program) and so can select it easily from the App.
The BeMore App is free to download and has made a huge positive impact in hearing improvement.

New hearing aids
I have just received new NHS hearing aids as the contract changed from Hidden Hearing to Scrivens. I downloaded the app with the hope it would do everything the oticon aids and app did. So disappointed. I don’t seem to be able to stream sound from my iPad. The phone does not stream calls to my aids and they disconnect themselves every time I switch them off at night. I have ordered a TV streamer I have a feeling that is going to be a disappointment too. The oticon one worked so well!!!

Using Bass/Middle/Treble
I’ve had my hearing aids for 2 months now and am quite happy with the way they work. However, I still can’t adjust the Bass/Middle/Treble as I am still getting the message that the amplification increases gradually. How long should this take?

Useful app
I’ve had no problems with the app. I don’t use it that often but it is good for reducing the noise on windy days and if you are in a very noisy environment. Using an iPhone 12. With iOS 15.7.

Reading some of the reviews I was apprehensive about the app however found no issues with conductivity or functionality. Currently on iPhone iSO 15.6.1.

Not functional
Lost my hearing and given a hearing aid compatible with this app from the NHS. It always goes back to default settings and I can’t hear again. I’ve got the doctor to take all the different modes and settings off because there is no point in having them, cause it goes back or default one.
I thought with one mode fine tuned it would remember it, but It doesn’t remember any of the fine tuning in the setting, even with the app running in the back. Think I’m gonna get another hearing aid.
All it needs to do is have a save function for the fine tuning and this would be a great app

Fantastic facility
I find this app. so useful, particularly the Speech clarity’ button - excellent for watching TV and not disturbing the neighbours, and the ‘Noise filter’ - good for piano practice, and the hearing loop - church and theatre. However, there is one hall I go to where there is a continuous buzz when using the hearing loop. Any ideas why this might be?

Needs Work
The app seems fine as far as it goes. As I am deaf in my right ear I don’t need to wear two hearing aids. As a result the app shows a connection error and as a result will not let me save my equaliser favourites. What it needs is an option for one or two aids with a left / right side option.

Not a good app
This app is so unstable it’s impossible to use it it completely discharged my phone and watch in about 4 hours ? Could not set it the sliders on the app have a life of there own and move about all the time independently I have deleted the app and I’m taking the hearing aids back . Very disappointed

IOS update 15.5
Since Apple released the latest update, the App continuously reset itself to All around and not favourites. When you change your settings it continuously has a mind of its own, so you have to reset all the time. Even deleting the App and reinstalling still the same problem
Still same problem , deleted app , reinstalled app still disconnects and reconnects . Does the developer actually cares about the problem or just not willing to solve it

Awful!
So many problems with this App, even the Audiologist was having problems right from the start.
Lost the blue tooth connection, on one ear, then the other ear, deleted the App, redid all the connections, happened again. Wouldn’t hold the setting etc. etc. In the end I deleted everything and gave up because by that time my iWatch power was draining so fast (why?) and ditto my iPhone.
Both problems have continued despite forcing them to quit, unpairing my iWatch from my iPhone and still having problems with both of them.
PS I am using iOS 15.4.1 on my iPhone.

Very Disappointing
Could be really useful but within hours it’s lost contact with one of my two aids and I have no idea how to refresh or get it to connect again.
After two weeks I’ve changed my mind. I don’t think it’ll ever be useful, one of the worst apps I’ve ever come across.
I’m going to delete it now and use my iPhone’s accessibility setting.

Used to be good
Since updating to IOS 15.4 three times in one week the hearing aids have disconnected overnight whilst on charge. In the morning delete the app, forget device in Accessibility in Settings, download app and start all over again.
What a performance! Doubt developers read reviews because no replies are ever left and no action is ever taken.

A pain
The app crashes every so often when I change hearing aid batteries. There’s no point in having customised settings because you have to set it all up again, having deleted the app and downloading ir again. What’s the point, seriously.

Useless
This app is poor. My hearing aid loses connectivity multiple times weekly, even daily. The ‘help’ suggests I click on the connectivity button to restore connection but this doesn’t exist. Consequently I have to delete and reinstall the app to regain connection. I’ve only got limited patience so a couple more reinstalls will be the last before I stop bothering.
