Worst app
Booked tickets through ticketmaster but was told to download them on this app. Couldn’t retrieve them so they told me to download the AXS app and retrieve it from there. Is it normal that I needed to download 3 apps to get tickets I havent even bought through a reseller?

Very bad login experience
Wow, perhaps the worst login experience I’ve come across. Followed the instructions, only to be told the password is wrong. I’m using a password manager! Looped around a few times with forgotten password resets and seemingly ended up resetting my AXS password. Unclear if this is the same company! Eventually got logged in and realised I merely got access to the same tickets I already had on the AXS app. Waste of time.

Its so bad. On the OVO app itself it suggested to try AXS if having no joy with OVO so I feel like they know how terrible their app is but don’t care to fix it. If you have another option for buying and accessing tickets, use it, because you probably won’t get very far with this app.

If you are having trouble accessing tickets/logging into account on the OVO Arena Wembley app, I would highly recommend using the AXS app. The two are linked and the latter is more reliable.

Can’t access my ticket
It was a pain to log in, and every time I attempt to access my ticket for a concert in less than 48 hours it crashes. I’m trying to resolve this directly with OVO Arena now. It’s a good job I kept my proof of purchase.

Absolute rubbish of an app!
First of all, I didn't submit to be forced to install and use your app when I bought my tickets somewhere else. The fact that you're forcing people to install and use your own app shows how desperate you are for attention.
Secondly, if you're gonna force people into that, than at least make sure that this piece of rubbish is working properly. For most of us, the app fsils miserably, with things such as (registering, thana saying you're already registered, failing to logging and requiring password reset, not allowing access because it's detected different IP when the IP stayed exactly the same, having to contact customer service to another third party which is dealing with app issues on your behalf, and overal spending hours to deal with unnecessary isssues and stress, making life hard and even more stressful) get your **** together and don't expect people will rste you positively.

This app runs just as bad as virgin customer care. After changing my password 4 times and still getting wrong password message so can’t access my tickets. Went to customer service and still got nowhere. Why can’t Ticketmaster just give me the ticket as I purchased with them. I really home the ticket office can sort the issue out for me on the day or there’s gonna be some drama going on outside.

Worst login experience of all time. Only after coming to see other reviews did I figure out how it works. You first download the app and open it, and it asks you to create an account. Once you do so, you verify your email and then you’re in. However, when you click “Access your tickets” it asks you to log in again. But at this point you have to create a new account!! It doesn’t tell you to, but you need to create a new account (which can have all the same details by the way) and only then can you access your tickets. Most convoluted and unclear system ever - developers please develop your brains!

Absolute Pain
Logging in to see my tickets requires logging in with TWO separate accounts. The first one is an OVO account (saves under ‘Realife tech’ on passwords app), the second log-in requires my AXS details. This is very inconvenient compared to other event apps, because EVERY time I’ve tried to log in to see if my future event has appeared yet, it takes me forever because I forget this small detail.

Genuinely, this app is so bad, it would put me off buying tickets to this venue again as it is such a pain trying to log in. I had to change my password 500 times as it kept saying it was wrong, despite the fact I was copy and pasting it when I changed it. AND it lets you into the app with that password but when you try and access your tickets, and have to log in again???,it says it’s wrong???? Make that make sense please. Login is a nightmare. I logged in once. All ok. Went to see my tickets and it asked me to login again and the shut the app. Wouldn’t accept my phone id or my face scan. Tried the password and it was correct but it won’t accept it. Please if you are going to create an app that must be used to secure your entry into an event, Pay to have it done correctly and properly. This isn’t even mentioning the issues I had to purchase a ticket through ticketmaster and then jump through several hoops just to get the ticket.

I have notifications for all types of marketing turned off in the app, yet every few days it is sending me notifications for “premium tickets” for a random event I have no interest in.

This app gave me so much stress for not working, crashing, telling me my password is wrong when it wasn’t, not loading my tickets, giving me an error message etc. etc. To force people to not be able to print their tickets or show them otherwise and have an app that doesn’t work is absolutely shameful. Terrible app
You have to log into two different accounts to get to your tickets which confused me as I kept typing in the wrong password for one of the account before realising. I also turned on faceID to help log into my ticket access, which somehow caused the app to stop working. Every time I tried to log in after that to open my tickets the app would automatically crash and close. I’ve now had to log into my account on someone else’s phone as it fully doesn’t work on my phone anymore.

Excessively poor customer journey
Why does this venue ask us to install this stupid app?! The tickets were only sold by Ticketmaster/AXS and instead of them being available on those app(s) like other shows, we have to install this stupid thing that turns out to be “powered by AXS” anyway. Absolutely ridiculous - this venue is one of those ones that people visit 1-2 times a year (at best!) - why ruin the customer journey for the sake of a couple of tracking cookies? Also looks like the UI has been designed by teenagers. Hopefully OVO energy division isn’t as rubbish with their customer journeys.

Literally the app crashes every time I log in to access my tickets so great 👍🏼 managed to get the tickets by downloading axs app directly but it isn’t obvious you can do that. Makes it seem like you have to have this app.. which doesn’t even work. Gone are the days where you can just be sent actual tickets in the post!

Terrible experience which was also stressful. Tickets arrived, I was told. Every time I logged on it said there was a problem and it logged me out. Over and over again. It then told me to download the AXS app - the link to do that also failed numerous times. In the end I got it from the App Store. I strongly object to being forced to DL multiple apps. My original ticketmaster purchase app should have been sufficient. Frankly, I’m mad enough to avoid going to OVO Arena again. I do not wish to give even one star but am unable to submit unless I do!

I’m so glad I tested this out BEFORE the concert I have tickets for as otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to get my tickets out. Everytime I tried too access my tickets it says that there’s been a problem and it’s logged me out. I tried doing it again,deleting refreshing everything. Nothing I done works. The people who made this app seriously needs too fix it as I check the other reviews and there are 1 star reviews going back months!

It says log in with same details, so I use my Ticketmaster login details which were correct. Did not work so I reset the password and then logged me in but as soon as I tried to access the tickets a pop-up came up saying we’ve encountered the issue and logged me out this happened repeatedly. App is useless. Seems overly complicated. Why do I need to download an app just for one ticket? Just email me the tickets don’t overcomplicate this.

Tickets Do Not Load
I purchased tickets on Ticketmaster. Their support tells me that for some reason my tickets won’t load on Ovo Arena App and there’s only 2 days to go for my event. Ovo arena has only got Customer Services email that you can use which is pathetic. Please, either write an app that works or just scrap it since clearly you have no idea how to develop app that works.

Stupid way of doing things
Why do you think I need an app wallet to access tickets? There’s obviously an issue with the app because I can’t log in to the tickets. If this isn’t sorted before the gig I’ve now got to turn up with my back card, ID and original purchase email because I have no tickets. It sounds a great way to hold up the queue. I also cannot transfer these to the email addresses of my 7 friends who are arriving from different places. These were supposed to be a surprise gift for someone. I’ll be printing a confirmation email as a birthday gift instead.

I was told by Ticketmaster that I MUST have my tickets for Wembley on the OVO Wembley app. Otherwise I would not be allowed in.

Frustrating app with little customer service support
Annoying app. Periodically throws you out. And then won’t take your password. Only use it a few times a year and have to spend half an hour resetting. And when your ticket purchases don’t show and you email / call them because why app offers little help, the customer service experience is dire. Sadly unable to give a lower rating than 1/5. Would not recommend.

Unnecessarily complicated
Why a venue thinks it needs its own ticketing system when others do perfectly well with eg Ticketmaster is beyond me. The very least they could do is make it usable and intuitive. Why do I need to log in to another thing when I’m in this one, and why doesn’t it tell me anything about the second thing I log in to? And why don’t my tickets show up? I remember having no end of bother making it work first time round and it’s no better this time. I’ve awarded one star because zero or negative aren’t options. Terrible app and shouldn’t even be required at all. If I didn’t have to go to Wembley Arena to see the band I want to see, I definitely wouldn’t be going at all because this app is so bad.

What a stressful way to access tickets. The app worked then stopped. I spent hours speaking with ticket master and ovo and axs, resetting passwords and then unloading and re loading. Worked then stopped again. God knows if I get to the concert on Friday. It really shouldn’t be this difficult. Would avoid using these method every again to get tickets

I have tickets for an upcoming event purchased via Ticketmaster. However they are only available in this app which has locked me out before! I cannot even reset my password as I just get an error message; neither can I set up a new account as I have to use the email attached to my Ticketmaster account

Illogical app
I have tickets for an event that are yet to show up in the app, possibly because the event is several months away and bought through TicketMaster.
I try to sign into the app every so often to check if the tickets are showing yet. But the app doesn’t want me to use my Ovo Arena password, but an AXS one. Why?!!! I sometimes forget between sign ins and because the app is called Ovo Arena NOT AXS. So I go round in a loop of password resetting every bloody time.

Very annoyed
Accidentally clicked to sign up to this app when I really wanted postal tickets. Now I’m seeing on the app that I have no upcoming events (untrue) and the tickets I do purchase (already done so) will show in a few hours’ time. Completely untrue! I bought tickets over a week ago for the Spanish Riding School show on 19th Oct.
All Customer Service will say is the tickets might not be accessible until a few days before the show. So basically I’ve paid more than ever before for some tickets which might or might not become accessible before I have to book and pay for train tickets.
It’s making me extremely anxious, which is something I absolutely do not need.

Utter rubbish
What a waste of time this app is. Advised to access e-tickets for concert at Wembley Arena in 3 days time through this app. After logging in and verifying email address when you try to access your tickets it effectively asks you to login to the AXS ticket app. Your tickets will not appear if you already have a login for this app under a different email address. Customer service are a waste of time and can’t see the problem. I had to work out for myself and register a second account with AXS under the same email used to purchase the tickets in order to view them.
So what is the point of the OVO Wembley Arena app?

Absolute nightmare.
It is an absolute nightmare! Ticketmaster said my tickets are on the app. I had forgotten my password and have tried to reset it. It saying if my email address is on their system it would send an email…. Nothing. So tried registration route. It says there is already an account with my email address but they are not sending an email to me to reset my password.
Soooooo frustrating!!! Now unable to get my tickets to see Michael McIntyre and I’m frustrated and angry.!

Worst app in history
This app is useless and cannot work without other third party apps. It never displays tickets and always tried to blame the customer as if the only reason why the events are not displayed is if you log on with incorrect details. But even if you log on with correct details there is still no “upcoming events” displayed and there is no ways to contact support. You have to go through either AXS or Ticketmaster to get any information. So basically you need to navigate three different apps to get one ticket. Ridiculous. Stupid useless app.

Ticketing in 2024 is a joke
Not sure why I need two accounts (three if you include the vendor who sold me a ticket) just to access one simple ticket. And this is similar at all venues and this review applies to all the ridiculous companies that have decided they need their own bespoke app to handle something relatively simple.
A cross platform unified solution is desperately needed as apps like this are genuinely, irrefutably a terrible customer experience.

Didn’t work when needed most
On the day of the event I checked tickets in the app and all looked good. However, as showtime approached I checked again and the app wouldn’t let me view our tickets stating that “user session had expired”. After several stressful hours spent changing passwords and closing down and reinstating the app we were now only an hour from gates opening and still unable to access our tickets.
It’s was at this stage that we decided to attend the venue ( obi arena Wembley) and attended the box office where after providing proof of ID and previous emails from axs etc the helpful lady at the customer services was able to print off our show tickets. It was confirmed that a number of people had also had a similar issue and that the app was not refreshing.
Without doubt, this caused us some anxiety and inconvenience. Not impressed and I will be unwilling to purchase further event tickets with this app.

Genuinely awful - tickets aren’t showing up
Genuinely awful app. Please do something about it, it’s ridiculous. First off the app doesn’t link properly to Ticketmaster or AXS. My shows aren’t appearing in the OVO app despite getting emails saying my tickets should be available to view.
Also there’s no way to change your first name/last name in the OVO app, which is frustrating and part of any decent app nowadays. Now it’s not my proper and customer service suggested I re-download the app??? That didn’t change anything at all.
In short, awful. Do something or about it or I won’t go to Wembley in the future.

Ovo arena will lose customers
Absolutely terrible. awful. Was told that you can only enter the venue by downloading this app. Could not view my tickets on the day of the event - how anxiety inducing!! I had to contact the partner website but only bot chats were available. After panicking for over an hour I called the accessible customer service at Ovo arena and a real person was able to help saying I can go to the venues contact centre with id and email confirmations.

Worst ticketing app I’ve ever used SORT IT OUT WEMBLEY
It’s ridiculous how many venues are now asking their customers to download stand-alone apps just to access tickets for shows they have already purchased. This Wembley OVO ticketing app is the worst I’ve yet encountered. If I could give it ZERO STARS, I would.
YOU WILL LOSE CUSTOMERS THIS WAY. I for one will NEVER return to see a show at Wembley due to the inconvenience of this cumbersome, badly designed ticketing app. People come to Wembley from around the country, and spend hundreds of pounds on their tickets. You want them to feel welcome and this app does exactly the reverse, increasing stress and anxiety among people who just want to have a good time using the tickets they bought to see a show they want to enjoy. Other customers clearly feel the same way from the amount of negative reviews on here. Fix your app or lose your customers.

Worst ticket app ever
This has to be the worst ticket app I’ve ever used. Every time I open it I get a different error message. One minute the tickets are there and next minute they are not.
Not sure why they can’t just email the tickets when they send you an email like most other venues or ticket sellers do. Put me off ever buying tickets for Wembley arena again.

Maybe you should allow everyone to purchase food and drink on the app as it enables us to move faster in the queue because no need to order in queue
It only allows me to order to terrace suites and then I have to argue with security because my drinks have been delivered to someone else

Invalid refresh token
This app simply doesn’t work. As most other reviews state - it just creates crazy stress levels. Accessing my tickets at home, weeks before the event was fine. When you try to access your tickets one hour before the event, you can’t due to an “invalid refresh error”. If Ovo/Axs are going to force people to use an app, please make sure it works first. It’s called “testing”. I will reconsider attending future events at Wembley Arena until this is fixed.

Redundant and stress-inducing app!
I wasted a couple of hours worth of brain cycles stressing out over this app. Yesterday my Ovo Arena tickets were displaying just fine. Today it keeps saying “invalid refresh token” and no tickets. Logged out/in. Deleted and reinstalled app. Changed password. All to no avail.
Somebody’s critical review suggested ditching this app and just using the official AXS app instead. Hurrah! I have instantly retrieved my tickets. Why does the Ovo Arena app even exist?

Absolutely awful
While I am not saying anything new here, out of principle I wanted to log a review. The most crazy process for something that should be so simple - getting my tickets that I have paid for. Why on earth do you need to both create an Ovo app account and then be taken to a screen to login or create an AXS account - which of course doesn’t work at all no matter how many times you try. I have 3 days to sort this and not looking forward to wasting a load of time having to try and do this.

Useless. Spoils the gig!
As per other reviews, you buy your tickets from Ticketmaster then the venue forces you to download this useless piece of crap to actually get in. You set your password then get told it’s wrong and you’re supposed to use your AXS password. Worried before you even travel you then try and screenshot your tix to save as a photo to use at the door only to then be told that won’t work either. Just why???

Terrible
If a venue are going to force you to use their own app to show your tickets you would think they would go to the trouble of making sure it worked and was reliable first. This is an complete nightmare even after hours of resetting still won't link to my tickets from Ticketmaster. I won't ever go to OVO Arena again while they are using this system. An absolute disgrace.

Useless and pointless
Bought tickets through Ticket Master - where you have to download app and create an account. Only to be notified nearer the event that you need OVO Wembley app to access your ticket, where you again go and create an account and reset your password a million times - when you realise this app is connected with AXS tickets so you are really reseting your AXS password as well. Beyond me why you can’t just buy tickets and them access them in one place easily.

Exactly what everyone says
Waste of time of an app. Doesn’t recognise your password at all even if you change it to something simple. I also couldn’t reset my password as the email that I’m using apparently isn’t recognised when I have proof that I’m using the right email. It does add a lot of stress when you’re trying to access your tickets.

Trouble logging in
I had to reset my password about 3 times during the 2 days I had this app, including about 30 seconds before needing to show my ticket. It added quite a bit of stress and was not a great experience. It kept saying my password was wrong even though it was right. At one point I even set my password to something simple like 123 but it still didn’t fix it.

Waste of time and been overcharged
DO NOT use this app to pre order merchandise. I did this but when I turned up to the venue to collect, they hadn’t put my order aside at all and told me one item was sold out already!! Despite paying for it over the app, they didn’t put it aside for my pre order. The servers said I wouldn’t get charged for the item I hadn’t collected as the payment was only pending in my bank account and once I’d collected the order I’d only pay for what I collected. Lo and behold I check my bank account today to find I have been charged for the full order so I now have to chase them for a refund somehow. Absolute disgrace and waste of time.

Terrible application for pre-ordering
Used this to app to pre-order drinks and collect them thus ‘beating queues’.
A joke.
There was just a single guy serving with an out-of-control lively beer tap and everything else via screw top lids. Took 20 minutes to collect as the poor guy struggled with the ill-thought out set up.
I work in the leisure/service industry, I’m also a personal license holder and whoever implemented this app clearly hasn’t properly talked to the operational side of the business which is utterly clueless. So here are some tips for free.
1) Expend the collection points for at least 2-3 servers and have another 2 or so pouring the beer in the background so it can be quickly handed over. Most music festivals do this and it works!
2) install some hanging spirit optics - so much quicker.
3) install a post mix-feed so you’re not tipping out mixers from a bottle. Your drinks aren’t cheap so when I see bars do this I see it as disdain. It’s also much quicker and you’ll get better yields.
Wembley SSE arena should seriously re-evaluate this service. It sullied an otherwise brilliant night despite missing 15 minutes of Public Enemy due to this nonsense.

Broken, unnecessary app.
I’ve been unable to access my tickets. The app crashes when I try to load them. I have tried this on two different iPhone models (5c and 6s) but had the same result. No response from customer service about this issue five days later (and the concert is in two days!) In the end I downloaded the axs app and had no problems loading my tickets there. If anyone reading this has a similar problem, I recommend you do this as well.

Really Terrible App
I’m not angry, I’m just disappointed. Signed-up so that I would know when the acts were coming on. Nothing fancy. Just basic information. The App failed. Missed my favourite songs and now, no doubt, am going to be spammed with a plethora of marketing material as a consequence. I thought an arena App would know when the acts were playing.
I actually feel sorry for SSE Arena, because they’re paying an online marketing firm for this product. I really hope they don’t now mine my data. But I suspect, if I had the energy, I could write further reviews about the negative aspects of this product.
