Needs improvement

The apps works, the preloader takes too long( pint pot filling). You get an offer and click for more info and it takes you to a page with no info. For example the promotion I just received a promotion for £3 drinks for the weekend . Click for more info. No info. Basic stuff this.

Unusable App

What is the point of downloading the App when you can’t use the rewards card if you go to the bar??
It asks me to save my card to my wallet but when I go to the bar they can’t scan it as the only way to get the rewards is by ordering through the App.
Then when there are offers on such as Kids eat for 1, you can’t use the App
When the Kids eat for £1 is available, you can’t order two Classic meals, as you can’t have 2 deals at the same time, even though we were willing to pay the full price for the Classic meals.
This App needs amending and upgrading .
It is so confusing for consumers to use and hard for staff to understand.

This should be the price and service all the time. Long may it continue. Pubs should work on a cost +profit margin not just think of a price they tjink people are prepared to pay. £3 a pint and still making a good profit. Also lobby the government to reduce the tax on drink and you can keep that if its £3 to me.

Perfect for Booking and Quick Orders!

I’ve been using the Greene King app for a while and it’s been excellent. Booking a table takes seconds, and I love how easy it is to check menus and pay straight from my phone. Everything runs smoothly and updates fast — no glitches or long loading times. It’s great for planning nights out or quick visits. Definitely makes the whole pub experience easier and more convenient. 🍻

Came out for diner tonight and what can I say Stacey was very attentive with making sure our order was correct as our autistic son eats the same meal every time we come in and has done for the past 7 years. We went into the Foxglove pub in Tunstall before we arrived at our destination, we took Loki our little SheePoo dog with us. The staff were very friendly as were the customers already there. The staff were very welcoming & efficient. Their menu had a large selection of food, wines, beers & deserts which made choosing a meal difficult. When our meal came it was piping hot, tasty & filling. We sent the Chef’s our congratulations & have been back since. Very well done to you all & thanks for the lovely friendly service & atmosphere.

Doesn’t work

I tried logging in whilst out at a Farmhouse Inn to order and pay did all the order but wouldn’t let me log-in wouldn’t accept the password I’ve been using for years to pay so had to pay as a guest and enter all my bank details again. When I got home I tried logging in again no luck so selected forgot password which said to go to my email which I did no email went back to the app and resent password change again six times still no email will just have to pay as a guest in future it’s actually easier to go to the bar and order than this mess about app.

App ordering

How sad that it’s easier and quicker for me to order via the app than to actually converse with a human when placing my order. 10/10 for technology here. 2/10 for the human experience when faced with a server who couldn’t tell me the table numbers available near a window inside an enormous empty pub. Couldn’t even be bothered to try. Forget the tip then. I’ll download the app and serve myself.

This is the 2nd occasion on a Saturday afternoon we have ordered a sizzling hunters chicken skillet only to be served with almost cold chicken on a plate with no fried onions.
The excuse was the same as last time that no one had washed the skillets. I mean…really?
We sent the food back and asked for what we ordered, and to be fair the serving guy did take it away and apologised, and brought us 2 steaming hot sizzling skillets 5 minutes later.
We did enjoy the food, but please take on board that please don’t fob off paying customers with anything other than what they have ordered. It’s not nice to have to complain and just makes you feel that your not a valued customer!

Could be better/ user friendlier

It is not intuitive that you have to press the black bar at the bottom of the screen when you add a meal.
Your search for drinks depends on the customer knowing which categories you have allocated to drinks for example I tried to search for J2O but i was still in the shandy category so I have to navigate to soft drinks to search for J2O.
You’re presented with the full price and you have to click next to receive the pricing discounts and offers - it should not cause doubt or confusion at this point - it should be easy for the the customer to simply buy and wait for their food and drinks.

Simple to use but pointless when staff ignore orders

I first downloaded the app during the Covid pandemic and we loved how efficient and easy it was. In fact we were so impressed several family members downloaded it.
But it’s now March 2021 after a few months of it not processing payments resulting in having to order at the bar it seemed to be back up and running. But after trying it at the Bluebell Farm in Worcester we waited 20 mins for drinks. I went up to the empty bar, it was busy but no customers waiting at the time. The barmaid asked if she could help and I said we’d ordered on the app. She tapped away on the screen and said oh yeah I’ll do it now and bring it over. The bar staff aren’t checking.
After another 10 minutes I went up to the chef on the carvery as there weren’t any customers waiting. He went into the kitchen to check and came back saying “as you ordered on the app it’ll be at least another 10 minutes because we’re busy” in other words orders from the bar get processed but app orders get ignored until the staff are told to look for them by the customer.
So a waste of time using the app. Avoid it and just order at the bar or use Wetherspoon who still respect app orders.

Epic Fail on Curry & Drink Menu

There's a great little book about how to avoid bad UI design called, 'Don't Make me Think!' The devs need to read this book and then audit this app.
I've just had to argue with a pub manager to get the drinks which come with the 'Curry & Drink' offer after using this app to order 2 curries. As someone who works in website UI design, I can confirm that ordering steps need to be clear and as far as possible, 'fool-proof'. There's a saying in my game, "everything's fool-proof until they invent a better fool!"
FYI, I am, that "better fool".
So...the current release of this app confused me on the 'Curry & Drink" menu offer page. Step 1 - choose your curry. Fine, no problem there, choose and add quantity, then go to the next step...
Step 2 - it's an upsell page - add a Nan bread - awesome! You have my extra cash. Goto next...
So, it's a 'Curry & Drink' Wednesday night deal; I've got the curries, I've got the upsell, now let's order the drinks...but we've reached the dreaded "what do I do now?" impasse.
There is nothing whatsover leading the user to order a drink. The offer has restricted options for drinks but at this stage of the process, there is nothing intuitive, not even a simple message telling you to go to another part of the app where the drinks are and order from there. Logic would dictate the next step in the sequence is a choice of drinks to order. It's not hard, Domino's can do this sort of thing on their app, but Greene King can't?
I ended up going to checkout in the hope I'd be offered the drinks order there, but no.
So I went through checkout and then proceeded to go through a tedious/embarassing get-the-the-blood-from-the-stone process to get the drinks I'd paid for - but not understood how to order under the 'Curry & Drink' menu.
I won't be using this app to order again.

Disappointed

I took my dad to the Heath Farm in Congleton for his birthday. The menu looked great and I chose this place as it had a play area for the kids. Firstly there was a strange smell lingering in the restaurant, it just didn’t feel clean. Then the food came. The Vegan Goujons were cremated, chips under cooked, the chicken tikka was like soup and the portion sizes were terrible. I know it’s cheap but definitely doesn’t justify the poor quality of food we received.
Lastly, the wacky warehouse, again a very strong smell of urine was unbearable. It felt dirty and unclean.
I hate to leave a review like this but I seriously think the restaurant needs looking at. It feels like someone from the management team at Greenking need to visit as the staff obviously don’t care how they present the restaurant or their food - no passion what so ever.

Suggestion for the app

I always visit your branches, mainly Lymewood and Primrose farm. The service is always brilliant and the food is pretty much spot on every single time. I have been enjoying coming here recently and the app has helped and it’s easily accessible and user friendly. However the only issue with the app is there isn’t a notes section so for instance if I wanted to order the nachos with guacamole I wouldn’t be able to get the nachos without unless I asked. Now that isn’t an issue asking a member of staff but it would be great to have it on the app and also the option to have the loaded chips as I haven’t been able to have them since Covid came about. Keep up the good work though and I will continue to eat at your locations.

So easy to order food and drinks

Given that the table service was likely a result of Covid, I would actually hope this service remains even after all restrictions are lifted. Ordering food and drinks was so simple and definitely beats standing at a crowded bar waiting to get noticed. Both food and drink arrived promptly. Fancy extra’s? No problem just head back to app and order more. I also liked the fact I didn’t have to register my details and could order as a guest. Great app.

Our visit to The Royal in Ross on Wye

Had Sunday Lunch which was delicious as always, just a bit concerned about the service aspect though, asked to move tables as was given one near a window where the hot sun was streaming in on our dog, bear in mind it was 30 degrees today, asked for a bowl of water for him twice both requests took ages, eventually lovely Amber brought water which was gratefully received by our dog and we’d like to thank her very much for that, tried to give her a tip but said they were shared out so gave barman money to add to their jar, thanks again Amber, we’ll see you again xx

Ordering takes 30 mins for a pint

We just wanted a dtink each .(a couple).
Have to use our App to order !!
To get a Wifi link in the park we had to join iCloud wifi .. having got a connection we downloaded the Greene King app..
We then navigated around the GK page to find Allerton Hall Farm pub.. then we navigated around their site for the drinks to order .. they want ALL YOUR details obv for future advertising bombardment .. i said “No” to the 2 choices and the site threw me out .Anyway i did it all again and said “Yes” — and it worked - except it said it didnt recognise me !! So i did it all over again and then my 2 drinks arrived within 5 mins of ordering and paying by card .
I was wrecked by the experience being in my 70s .. and drank my pint almost immediately as I was dehydrated .. i could have really done with a second pint immediately - but had lost the will to live !!

The app is generally clear and straightforward but there’s nowhere to add comments for food and drink preferences. They only option available when ordering mixed grill is how you want your steak cooked, no further options available to remove items -eg no mushroom/fried onions, and no option to substitute chips for fries or other. We wanted an onion ring stacker to come out with the main but no option to request this. When ordering spirits with a mixer you get redirected to another part of the app for the mixer and it’s added to the order as a separate drink. If you’re of the older generation this could have been confusing. The Wetherspoons app is easier in this respect. The whole experience of this app is enough to put you off going out for a meal.

Dinner

Arrived unannounced not really having a clue what to do, read a few signs, down loaded an app and at that exact moment saw a member of staff, who said she could fit us in at a table; amazing service throughout our time here, lovely food with a very wide ranging menu to suit all dietary requirements, we had the sharing platter starter and the fish grill main, all very well cooked and very tasty. Moved outside to sit in the cool air and ordered a drink through the online app I downloaded when I arrived, tried using PayPal as that was an option, but it didn’t work, but my first attempt using Applepay worked fine.
Everything was super clean, super efficient, and we felt very COVID safe.

On arrival couldn’t have one quiet sensible child sat in a quiet outside area so had to put up with screaming kids in the garden. Had to split our family up in order to have a few drinks. Table service in one area but app only ordering just outside the area, who comes up with this stuff!!! App does not work well if at all and when it does has issues with logging in. Took 5 attempts and 15 minute to order something after finding out you don’t have to sign up with your vital statistics and shoe size IF you can find the hidden button that allows as you to pay as a guest!! Absolute madness… my suggestion… Buy some beers from the supermarket at a quarter the price and drink them in the garden at home!! It’s a dam sight easier!!

Need to be able to give more options for drinks

It’s a great app, functional and easy to use. But it would be really useful to be able to state whether you want lemon/lime slice or not.
I support adults with learning disabilities to go to the pub and we always have to wait for table service rather ordering from the app, because there is an option to ask for no ice but no option to ask for no slice. Seems odd to give an option to ask for one, but not the other. Please could this be considered in the next app update. This would do a lot to prevent stressful situations in the pub, when staff unwittingly bring a drink that has to go back, or having to wait for staff to come the table.

Order

It took 45 minutes to order our food. The drinks were in different places in the menu which was confusing. My friend couldn’t order on her phone as she couldn’t see the drinks for what they were and the app kept crashing. The app doesn’t seem to be consistent across different phones.
It would have been helpful to have our drinks order taken by a server before we had to navigate around the app.

Disappointed

Ordered food on this app at one of the pubs and it took what seems nearly 30 mins to send order after completion and payment taken. Unfortunately the pub in question had a rude and arrogant member of staff that questioned me after asking how long the food would be after waiting 30 minutes already. The person in question claimed they had only received my order 4 minutes prior to me asking. Thankfully Apple Pay verified the I had in fact paid for the order 30 minutes earlier and I asked for a refund for my food and left. App not recommended. I’d give 0 star if there was the option. 👎🏻

App Booking Fail

Found the pub and entered the details for a booking with ease. It said the booking was confirmed and I could change/manage the booking at any time in the app. A confirmation email would be sent to me...
No confirmation email received, and when I went back to the app to check/manage the booking it had disappeared, with no menu shortcut to manage bookings.
I made sure that I’d registered a full account with Greene King and tried again. Made a second booking (and took a screenshot of the booking reference this time!).
Again, no email confirmation received, and when I went back to the app to check/manage the booking, it had disappeared... again.
Tried logging in to the Greene King website portal, but it doesn’t recognise the account registered on the app half an hour before, and says the password is invalid.
So, I either have two bookings for the same evening - which I can’t manage/change; or I have no bookings at all? I’ll need to phone the pub to confirm, which renders the app as somewhat useless.

Difficult first time with the App

Not been since before lockdown and although the front of house host was very helpful the actual first time order wasn't easy. App would not download on my phone even with adequate service so used a second phone which worked. The issue is ordering the meal and the process is not easy. If your not savvy with the internet and apps then you’ll be frustrated trying to sort this first time, it took me 35 minutes to sort it. Also it is a limited menu so best only using the app for choosing rather than the paper menu. Once sorted and ordered then all is good, food is quick and nice and the service was without a problem.

Okay but buggy

I like that it easily searches e closest pubs. And allows you to order straight to your table. However it doesn’t always have all of the options showing on the app that the pub has. And worst of all, I added the option to filter food to vegetarian, which caused the app to not show anything at all. From then on it wouldn't allow me order anything to a table (it kept saying there were not any options and to reset my filters-I did many times 😠).
In the end I had to delete the app and reinstall to bring back to option to order to a table.

Comedically bad

Having spent half an hour in the first of two Greene King pubs, surely something anyone does by accident, and not particularly wanting to download an app for a chain I’m only visiting to kill time at, I find myself at the bar, with my mask on, gentleman at the bar wearing a mask also, protective screen between us, I’d just like to contactlessly buy two beers, but no. For the ease of the bar, not me, I’m advised to use the app, which I do, after laboriously giving my details, I get served out round. We were told upon entry that we could start a tab at the bar if the app proves a hassle. I’m shown it’s far quicker for repeat orders, subsequently as the previous logs automatically.
I want to go elsewhere to have another drink before dinner, and only have another Greene King pub to choose from. I have to select the pub as not to order automatically from the first of the two, and am sat at a table just wanting to order two pints of Gamma Ray, which I can see at the bar. While waiting at the bar in the hope of ordering two beers, I’m approached by a member of staff who asks if I need help. I tell her yes, that I can’t find Gamma Ray on the app. It’s not there. She says “It should be!”, clearly perturbed, and scrolls through her phone for 30 seconds while I stand there looking at the bar. I just want a beer. Rather than apologise, she nods at the woman at the bar, says “she’ll help you” and walks off. I ask for two pints of Gamma Ray because it’s not on the app. Her colleague tells her it’s out. There were one or two taps further down the bar but they didn’t check those. I leave. Waste of time, and certainly wouldn’t visit another pub of theirs again. I’m all for safety and distancing, but this is a clusterf*ck of hilarious proportions.
Nicholson’s pub turns out to be just round the corner. Immediate table service and no messing around. Served immediately.

Horrible

We have taken our mum for a drink and had nothing but issues from the moment we got here. My mother has terminal lung cancer and is in a wheel chair, she struggles to breath and does not wear a mask- now this is clear from looking at her, however the chap on the door told my brother that she MUST wear a mask! When we explained that she can’t he then demanded to know what medical condition she has in order not to wear a mask! How dare he!!
I work in retail hospital and completely understand the strain workers are under but what gives him the right to ask such personal questions
We have only been five n the news that she’s terminal 3 weeks ago and she is very stressed as it is!!
After we told him that she can’t wear a mask he left us in the door, in the cold and damp to go and see if he had a table! No compassion at all

The Rose & Crown Hereford

We use the pub most Fridays, some Saturdays and Sunday’s. It’s a good atmosphere, staff are always helpful and friendly and have made us most welcome as regulars. The control measures and the monitoring as far as public houses go in my opinion are the best you could get out of any of the other pubs in Hereford and we tend to only stick the rose & crown and do not usually go elsewhere because feel it’s too unsafe too.

Can’t request certain toppings be removed from the meals

Used this app to book a table and order meals at my local hungry horse. Everything worked great, the only fault I can give this app is the fact there is no way to have certain ingredients removed from the food. for example having a burger with no tomato or mayo, the only way to have the burger without those ingredients is to go up to the bar and place the order there. If a function could be added that would allow people to request ingredients not be used in the meals it would make this app perfect.

Lunch and its replacement meal were the two worst dishes I’ve been served in years

The pub has a lovely setting but the food we were served was appalling. The main dish two of us had tasted disgusting, overcooked with a dried rind to the mashed potatoes. The waiter offered to replace it and would rush it through. We ordered something quick, pizza. It took over 40 mins so they offered a refund, which was kind. As we had to leave for an appointment, it was boxed, but without napkins, without being cut into slices. The dough wasn’t mixed properly, and was chewy like slimy rubber, yet rock hard around the crust, like it had been grilled with the oven not hot enough underneath. The topping was swimming in oil. Both meals were inedible. The staff were good about it, but the chef is dreadful.

Why??????

We have all had a laugh sitting out it has only taken >15 mins to register having to download the app name, address, email, phone number, blood group etc. Rather irritating since we scanned ourselves in at entrance. Once ordered device was great but what a farce to actually place our order.
The only reason you got 1 stat was for the very efficient service once past all the paraphernalia of having to register on your app.

Service style

Approached the outside bar with 2ppl in front of me. Both were served.
I asked for a pint to be told they don’t do bar service and I have to order via the app.
I apologised and said that as the 2 previous people had been served, I assumed that it was bar service.
I was told that one of them was staff and is allowed and the other was a regular and an old man and he can’t download the app.
I sat and downloaded the app.
Whilst placing my order via the app, another man approached the outside bar to be told to download the app. He said sorry and the same server said she would take his order at the the bar but he should download it for future.
I’m confused. Do you serve at the bar or is it only off duty paying staff and anyone else the server likes the look of that can order without the app?
FYI the guy who ordered first is opposite me half way down his nice cold pint sat in the sun while I’m still waiting and a young girl has just ordered at the table, with a server who is running around on her own like a blue arsed fly.
It’s a beautiful day here in Liverpool and I’m pretty sure it was mentioned that the forecast was going to be a scorcher. Perhaps a couple of extra staff might help her out.
It might an idea to close the outside bar doors too, so it obviously isn’t in use. It’s not being used for dispense, simply for the staff to keep saying “you have to download the app” (unless of course they decide otherwise) and for the odd empty to be plonked there as the manager struts by.
I get all this COVID stuff is hard for everyone to get their head around, staff and customers alike, but how about making it easier for both?
Hopefully my Carling arrives soon as this sun is making me thirsty.

Midday family lunch

This experience was impressive in its efficiency. We booked a table a few days ago online. On arrival all the new systems were explained to us. Our table was well distanced from others. The waitresses with visors on did a competent and reassuring job guiding traffic and helping us get our meal just right. The food was generally good. Breaded mushrooms rather overdone, meats superb, and vegetables much better than they were just before lockdown. Excellent value for money, even at full price. An absolute steal with the government subsidy. We will definitely give it a go again next month. Thanks to all the hard working staff.

Come here for lunch, we prebooked to ensure we got a table and was able to have lunch, was seated after being rudely told no walk ins without asking if we had booked, once seated we then got asked to move as tat table was reserved for someone else, the next table we were moved to had people on so we had to then wait for another table to be cleared, we had already ordered food so then we had to wait longer for them to transfer the table numbers over. Food was nice which is why 3 star, this place has always been our usual (hungry horse Westwood) however after this visit I’m not too sure we will be coming back until after the social distancing has finished. Not sure why we prebooked a week and half early to then be moved to 3 different tables as we didn’t have a table! The only reason they getting 3 star is due to easiness of this app to download and use and the fact the food was nice

Had to place food order using the app from my table. The app is a nightmare to use and very glitchy. Would not allow me to add lemonade to my gin, would not allow me to swap chips for jacket potato with my steak and having to create an account to just order food. After all that I seen people being served at the counter for drinks or if I wanted to pay cash. What is the point in going through all this when people at the bar anyway. Tried using table number on my table but did not exist! Later found out table is usually joined but still did not exist. All in all a terrible experience. Hopefully the food will be nice?

Functional with design flaws and questionable security

Good app to order food and get the job done but it’s design details are lacking. I don’t blame the pubs obviously, just feedback to the developer. Input fields not coded properly so auto fill doesn’t work as it should (email auto fill for postcode??) and the password field won’t load password fill (keychain/LastPass). The “title” field on account edit screen is broke as the previous choice is a default placeholder which stops the form submitting. Screen resolution doesn’t seem optimised for larger iPhone screens. The worse bit from a security perspective is their password reset simply emails you a plaintext password to use instead of an expiring reset URL (it’s not the worst, but as a security analyst, I’m picky).
Other than that, I got my food so not all that bad!

Long awaited first night out

My colleague and I were frequent visitors to our local Greene King pub in Dunfermline and during a stressful week eagerly awaited our first outing since lockdown and a chance to catch up face to face since March. The staff and set up were brilliant and we settled down to a good old catch up. Working in the care sector it was important that we stayed apart during lockdown so the chance to offload was very welcome. The evening was going well until a staff member inadvertently tipped our pints on San Mig and Peronni over over my colleague. While they hastily cleared up the mess and organised new drinks, never did they ask if we were ok or offer the drinks on the house. My friend’s jeans, top and underwear were soaked and shoes ruined and as a result we had to cut short a very long awaited trip to the pub short as it was really too uncomfortable for her to stay. Really disappointing as it meant so much and other than the mishap the staff and set up were brilliant

First class and safe service

Absolutely one of the best service I've found / we didn't book but would advise to avoid disappointment. Friendly greeting and super safe and advise to download and order via app to save queuing. Very impressed and food was delicious and did the eat in to help out deal so the value was outstanding. Highly recommend every day of the week though as still excellent value. Well done (I'm local ) and will definitely be visiting again

Amazing value and COVID-ready!

From the moment we arrived we felt at ease with the staff friendliness and cleanliness all round. All staff were in visors and we were shown to a table that had both hard and soft furnishings sprayed ready for us to use. The ordering system was easy to navigate and speedily delivered. Our whole party agreed that the food was delicious and they catered for our party of 6 varying in ages from 8 to 78 perfectly and with a smile! Our only problem is the kids want to come back and we leave Bournemouth tomorrow! A most definite thumbs up from us. Many thanks and well done!

Kensington Pub in Loughton

In these times of COVID, we were reluctant to eat out again. But after reading on the local Facebook chat page that the local pub was reopening again and they were only taking bookings to reserve a table to eat and drink we decided to give it a go. We wanted to stay local and support our local business.
They could not have been more helpful. They put us at ease straight away. There were plenty of signs to make us aware of keeping apart and that our table was cleaned before use. We felt safe and relaxed

Amazing

This app is incredible!!! We can sit at the comfort of our table and not have to wait at a crowded bar to order food and drinks. You can order anything they sell from the vendor and there is no minimum spend.
The waiting time is suggested at around 15 minutes but our drinks arrived in 3 minutes and food arrived within the 15 minutes.
Just sit back in your chair, add your order, table number and the service will come to you.

Easy and quick. Great app.

I used the Greene King app this evening for the first time. Easy to set up and use in our local. I’m always a bit worried an order will go through the first time I use an app like this but I didn’t need to worry. Food orders came through quickly and my beer was delivered to the table a minute or two after ordering. The barmaid said they prioritise app orders so there’s a reason to use it next time. The app is easy to navigate and add extras to food orders.
The only downside is less face to face interaction with the lovely staff at the pub!

Great app!

Being able to order and pay for food with this app is great and saves queueing at the bar and getting orders wrong. The menu is easy to order from and you can add preferences such as no ice in drinks etc. What makes it even better is that you can apply vouchers codes so that you can still use the new AA discount or others, which other chains don’t seem to have enabled and so I don’t use them. The only way it could be better is if you had the option to pay with a Greene King gift card. 👍🏻

Tonight was terrible

I eat here often and tonight was a complete mess! I bought dinner for me and a friend including starters.
I asked for the starters to be brought out with the mains, the starters arrived in 20 minutes which was fine, I then asked if the mains were coming out too, they then told me the mains would be out in 40-50 minutes? Once finally receiving the mains we found that the chips were stone cold and dry, the brioche buns were not toasted at all so therefore also dry as they soften up when toasted, the burgers had little to no sauce which again made them dry and dull! No one came to our table to ask how to food was so we didn’t have the chance to complain of bring it to their attention.
Overall a very disappointing experience!

So the app works well it’s the service that then fails

The app works well and is simple and easy to use. Where it all falls down is the subsequent handling of orders. Unlike say Wetherspoons where app orders take priority over people at the bar or MacDonalds where drive through orders take priority over internal ones - at the Oystercatcher it seems to be the opposite!! The bar staff will eventually get round to dealing with app orders only when their is no-one at the bar. As such you end up going to the bar anyway to tell them you’ve ordered with the app and could they get a move on ....... rendering the app pointless!

Waited for an hour for main too arrive and when it arrive which was the 12oz steak it was cold so sent it back with orders not too re heat it then it was reheated and sent back too me which is not at all a good thing too do too a customer in any way shape or form ... so sent it back too the manager and require a full refund on my whole order !!!! Marco sent out a young girl out too apologise then another manager has come out too ask what I would like too eat I’ve spoke too 3 people and still trying to get a refund on this .... a group of 20 people too eat spending a lot of money and this has ruined my night out with my work colleagues!!! Thanks for that Needle and Awe Rushden !!!! No happy at all !!!

Not great

We have ordered via app so it’s clear what we have ordered
But unfortunately there was mix up with out order and our wings got different sauces so the kids one got sweet chilli spilled all over it instead of bbq and mine got the same sauce apparently made in bbq instead of piri piri, when I pointed that out the waiter went away came back ,took one sauce and told me it’s mine not his, when I said I have piri piri and the little boy bbq and this is sweet chilli she has stormed out, 5 min after someone else brought the wings back, clearly the same as the sweet sauce was still spilled on the wings and slammed them down , really rudely. I don’t mind there was a mistake made, obviously that happens and I wasn’t waiting for and apology but don’t be rude when it’s actually your mistake

Not impressed at all.

Tried to buy food and drinks today at Braintree and it failed to work 4 times. I then tried using PayPal and that failed... Finally I tried direct debit and that failed!!
Then I noticed PayPal had immediately paid money and refunded me... I checked my online banking and found I'd been stung 5 or 6 times for 20 quid! Okay it's going to get refunded but this could well and truly mess you up if you only have a single account!! The app should not take any money at all until it's confirmed the order! Not happy at all!!!

Sunday lunch meal

We were a little apprehensive about the app to order the meal but it was very easy to install and simple to navigate through we loved it. The app also gave a discount on the meal which was a bonus.
I had the double cheese burger which was very tasty but came with the tinniest amount of coleslaw less than a spoonful. My wife had jacket potato and beans again a small amount of beans which we mentioned to the waitress and was given a better portion. The food was lovely. The only downside was salad looked a little limp and dry.
That said the staff are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed it!
