Great game just wish

My game crashed I assume because the critic came and there were no paintings and it made me wish the game saved progress within acts or at least had an option to see all saved artwork that you’ve done in the game across games

This game has so much more potential

I have some ideas that would make this a 5 star game

1- a save button and a load game button

2- make it so that the colours and instruments have to be bought with money

3- pls add a fast forward button because I don’t want to delete my paintings and I don’t want to wait so much until someone buys the paintings

4- let there be people that steals your painting and make it so that you can buy cameras and guards (in exchange for money) , this would make sense since the paintings are unprotected and free to everyone to touch and do everything they want with them.

5- add like a baguette bar and a wine bar so that you have to buy baguette and wine more frequently and be able to see when you need to drink or eat

6- adding posters to the shop to boost attention for the people and popularity pls

7- make events you could attend like art events and stuff where you could promote your art and sell it

8- let me put some decoration on that street, it looks very sad :(

That would be it… the game has this much potential and i would LOVE to see some of the stuff i wrote be in the game, thanks. :D

I downloaded this game in December 2019 and i was playing it that day on holiday and then after I drew 3 paintings the game just cut of and put me to my home screen and I would play it with my family and they will be sad because they put effort into there pictures please fix this but I think the game is good but it’s just the 3 paintings glitch

If the AI is randomised, then I don’t know what to do. It keeps saying my art is bad, but I’m trying as hard as I can. You need to fix this so it will be more optimistic, and less depressing!

I thought this game would probably be the best I’ve played, I’m 12 and just earned some money. I decided to buy this game because I saw Jazza play it. I played it but it was actually really boring and not fun to play. I wish I didn’t spend my pocket money on this, thanks a lot, for my wasted money.

Could be a masterpiece

A great concept.

Very simplistic art tools limit the possible works. A color wheel would have been better than the color dots, shading or blending tool, zoom on canvas, so many things lacking.

They could have been added as unlocks as you make money, different tools to buy as you progress or brushes. None of that at present.

I would spend more time creating works proud to sell, than cartoony kiddie paintings it hurts to display.

Missed opportunity for a truly splendid game.

Desperately needs a save button

Every time I want to exit I have to wait 15+ minutes for the next week to come otherwise I lose all progress since the last week.

If this is fixed I will be happy to leave 5 stars as every other aspect of the game works.

Although it does seem to take a very long time to get to act 2 as I am still not on it after 2 days.

Simplistic and in my view not worth the money at all

This game looks and feels extremely basic. There is almost zero actual playability. It’s essentially just Paint and in my view is not worth the time nor money.

From unworkable to frustrating

So it finally loads, and it only crashes on about 1/3 paintings. Yay? Without an undo button, random strokes it puts in my art are extremely frustrating. There is an undo for painters! It’s called a rag, and dabbing a stray spill away happens on all but the most wet paintings! Even those can sometimes be rescued!

Until they reduce the memory usage more, and get rid of random marks (no way can they add an undo function with all the memory put into 3D figures you see for mere seconds with no controls for the pace of the game nor the level of unnecessary detail) I cannot recommend this game. I would pay double for a 2D version with cleanly cel-shaded graphics, speed controls, and 1-3 levels of undo. It’s sad to buy something you really want to love only to get a Molyneaux-level letdown.

I got the update that was supposed to fix the glitch but it didn’t work I’m still being kicked out of the game I’m playing on my iPad iOS.

Characters don’t make any comments, never buy anything, then boom career over. Career even stopped as soon as I completed the first artwork.

If I wanted a bad sketching app with no gameplay then there are hundreds of other options in the App Store for FREE. £5 stolen from me for nothing. I want a refund.

I've had this game for ages now and it's such a great game! But recently after one of the updates, the Canvas has moved in front of the first column of colours so when you click on a colour the canvas is underneath it so, say you tried to equip the color purple it would draw in the canvas! Please fix this as I love playing the game!

Excited at first

Cool

I really enjoyed this app, there aren't any problems playing on my ipad pro with a pen. I think the lenght of the game is just right and allows you to do more refined paintins as you progress along (more money more time). I like the function of saving my artwork.

Only two things I didn't like:

1) the third painting tool you get as you progress is not so different than the brush (not sure what it is all about as I can't see the difference),

2) MORE colours please (not interested in 3D function as I seen the announcement for the update) add more colours instead!!!!

Another suggesttion: you could add commission painting from customers e.g. pot of pink flowers and this could be timed challange.

Great game, please keep developing it!

BTW (to you all players) you can play SEXYBENJAMIN 😂😂😂 underneath Passportout figure there is a stick figure icon to switch to Jazza avatar (if not visible click on Passportout figure and the stick figure icon will appear).

Still Broken

I didn’t read the reviews before downloading unfortunately otherwise I would have bought this game on steam rather than iOS.

Like other users, I cannot progress past the first act as the button on the newspaper to continue does not appear correctly. From reading other reviews, I can see that this has been a problem for months. I am writing this review in November 2018 and can see a similar review reading December!

It is an absolute shame as this game is lovely and very fun. If the issues preventing progression were fixed then I would be rating this 5 stars!

Can’t proceed to act 2.

This is frustrating because I’ve paid for a game that looked and sounded interesting and good to play and yet I can’t even proceed onto the next chapter of the game because it’s bugging out.

Have to play with zoom due to font size bug?

For some reason the app doesn’t use the entire iPhone X screen and has a bug which causes UI elements and text to be displayed in a tiny font which is too small to read - even with my 20/20 vision.

I have to play with zoom. Pls fix.

Very disappointed - Requesting refund

Rating 1 star as the game doesn’t fill the screen on my iPhone X.... not even close, I’m looking at around one each of unused screen in either side, making it nearly impossible to play.

Additionally to this I had read reviews back in January stating how people couldn’t progress pass the first act and I could see the latest update states it has resolved this problem for uses. Unfortunately this is not the case, no matter what I did the game would not let me progress when it was prompting me to do so.

Finally to top it off when I exited the game and came back to it later on, I selected the “continue game” option as clearly I wanted to keep my progression and surprisingly it started me right back at the start.

Not happy one bit, if the game was free I could understand but I have spent £5 on a mobile game that the devs did so well with on the PC. Unfortunately I will be emailing them and requesting a refund.

If you have an iPhone X I would recommend maybe waiting till a later update before purchasing this game in hopes these issues are resolved, which I really hope they do as the game has great potential.

Gameplay is good and it’s fun to test random pictures to see what people will pay... however I’ve not been able to get past the first act despite being prompted, every time I reload and the critic comes and looks at the same picture and the same news article comes up.

Doesn't work after act II

So I completed act 2 with the inspector looking and giving the offer. After that it doesn't even load. I tried so many times to do it and it doesn't work. Please fix this

I was playing the game and really enjoying It, however when the inspector came and I moved on to the next act, it wouldn’t load. So I went out of the game and loaded it back up but most of my progress was gone and I was back at act one.

This is a very poor game as it currently stands

I bought this game as I thought it looked fun. I enjoy painting and thought this game would be cool as it involved creating paintings.

I made a mistake with this purchase as there is little incentive to play this game very much. It does seem random with what gets no bought or sold and there is a very short completion time.

A couple of days before I factory reset my iPad so there should not be as much crashing as there is.

If you want an exciting engaging game steer clear of this. If you want to create and paint then save your cash for Procreate or Artrage iOS apps.

This game as it stands is abominable!

Original Idea

Overall there’s nothing else quite like it and it’s an original and fun experience. There’s really not much to it. Paint a bad picture and sell it. I wish there was a bit more to it though. I really don’t think it matters what you paint as sometimes it sells, sometimes it doesn’t. There’s very little feedback to go on from the customers and I wish the game picked up more from what you were trying to paint. Also there are a few technical issues as the game currently crashes at random on my iPad and I lose any progress I had made. Think an update should be brought out to fix this and perhaps a few more additions to the game.
