Good fun for a few hours.
I really liked this game, there were times where it seemed ‘obvious’ but took time to get there. Sometimes, I was thinking too much into the solutions and other times, couldn’t ‘see wood for trees’, which kept me hooked. Some stuff was quite cryptic but luckily the odd hint or 3 helped without telling me too much. I thought the ‘change of directions’ was a great element I’ve not seen in many games and gave a boost too the game too. Looking forward to trying 3 & 4 of this series. Great work and worth the new pounds for the entertainment. I’ve paid and played other games that were ok, but this was definitely worth the money. Good job to the developer, keep it up.

Challenging but good
The level of difficulty in this was just about right for me. I like to be challenged and hate having to use the hints, but had to give in and use one or two towards the end. Movement round the game worked well and I had no glitches. Graphics are nice too.

Good game
Enjoyed playing the game and the puzzles were just about right in their level of complexity.
I would say though that the navigation through the screens need some work. The problem with it is that you can use the map to jump between the screens, but not all of them are fast track. On the map the screens are numbered, but it is difficult in rooms with multiple doors to know which one you’re supposed to choose and you invariably end up in the wrong place and lost. My advice, strong advice, would be to put numbers over the doors so that they tally up with the map It would make the game considerably more enjoyable and much less frustrating.
All in all I enjoyed the game and with the minor fix above I would give it five stars.

The game felt however like it had too many rooms. If quite often get an item and forget where I’d seen I could use it. The fast travel system is definitely needed but wish all rooms were fast travel.

Clever
Very enjoyable, yet somewhat frustrating at times. The main issue I had was keeping track of locations, and then accessing the rooms. A fast move to every room would help considerably. I played the game over several days, and struggled to remember where I was when I picked-up playing again. But on the whole, I don’t begrudge paying for it. It was a refreshing change.

Great puzzling adventure
Really good fun, plenty of challenges and interesting puzzles, clear hints if you get stuck. My only criticism is to look around you have to keep dragging rather than hold in one direction to pan around the room, the current control makes exploring a little more laborious than it should be. Other than that, highly recommended.

Superb game!
This is a superb game with a large collection of different puzzles - some easy(ish!) but some will definitely have you scratching your head! (Yes, I did need to watch a walkthrough for some of them!). Considering it only cost 99p it’s staggering value! It’s also a long game - it took me over 9 hours to complete. Well done David! Looking forward to playing the 3rd game in the series now. (The first game in the series is really good too and currently free to play. Honestly, just play it!)

An excellent and challenging game
I really enjoyed playing the second instalment of this Legacy series having completed the first. The puzzles were really challenging and I needed help so maybe a hint system built in to guide the player would be much appreciated. I cannot find fault with a developer who spends their time creating such a great game for zero cost and puts so much into its creation. I like that there are two endings and just couldn’t resist trying both! A truly marvellous series.

Tough and challenging
I love these type of games and this one is right at the top of the stretch your brain challenge. Must confess to using the walk through quite a bit at times, getting used to the fast track room changes is tricky. Will play again and see if I perform better before moving on to the next David brain stretcher! Fans of Room will love it.

A very frustrating game
I found this game to be more of a show case of the developers skills rather than a game that made much sense. Never before have I had to resort to a walkthrough to solve some of the puzzles, and I play many of this genre of game. Some of the solutions had me shaking my head in understanding the logic to the puzzle. Every door opened revealed yet another room with a head shakingly complex array of items that make no sense. This is one of the few games I have played where I just wanted it to be over. I am not a game quitter, but some of the puzzles in this game had me wanting for it to finish. Unusually for me, I am unsure as to whether I will play the 3rd instalment, simply because I want to enjoy these games, become immersed and engaged and not have a helpless feeling of frustration at every turn. 3 stars because it is a beautiful game, the audio is immersive and some of the puzzles are good.

I’m loving playing this game especially as now I’m quite a way in with loads of thought provoking puzzles to solve and mysteries to unravel. Some of them are harder than others so like the variety. Sometimes I feel I would like a hint option but not having one makes it all the more of a challenge. Good concept and graphics and will look out for other games by this studio!

Another great game, but there were quite a few times when I got stumped and had to resort to the walkthrough. Maybe a few hints would be better, as some of the steps just didn’t seem to have anything to suggest them (eg where to use the pliers). Another brilliant brain game with easy, subtle and ‘just look, think and solve’ clues!
Have completed Legacy 1 so knew what to expect from the superb graphical rooms. You learn to read everything, trying everything and remember some artefacts can be used twice.
It’s always a shame to finish such great games as nothing else is ever as satisfying!

Really very good but…
The first one seemed better in terms manoeuvrability. It was more responsive. When I chose items to use from the backpack it would sometimes close the screen for me to scroll between apps. If I pinched the screen to go back it wouldn’t always obey and I would have to turn around, find where it would allow me to go, go there, then turn to go where I wanted to go. After a while that becomes irritating.
The quality of the graphics and story are excellent, however. I just won’t rush to buy the next like I did the first until I read the most recent reviews.
But to David. Still bloody excellent work. Just wonder about the drop-off. Bigger program? Different developer? Still excellent tho! 🤙

Great game
Played the first pyramid which was great and second one did not disappoint. Great graphics, lot of detail and it is free! It is not an easy game however most of the time I got there by looking at the map. Not all rooms are numbered and that was a bit confusing especially when looking for those specific rooms. Very good game overall, really good fun to play thank you!

Great value
I really enjoyed playing this. It’s great value and I’d rather pay and have no ads as the game is then so much smoother. The puzzles were a mixture of fairly intuitive easy ones and some that were so challenging I resorted to a walkthrough.
That’s what promoted the loss of a star. Some of the puzzles couldn’t be solved until much later in the game and the clue or item may be found in a room on the other side of the temple. That made it hard to track back and remember. There were also some smaller rooms which weren’t numbered and didn’t appear on the map which again made it hard to navigate.
That said it’s still a great game. Nice graphics, interesting story line and some clever contraptions to get your head working.

You can really see the progression from Legacy 1 to 2, well worth the small cost for such a huge upgrade in gameplay. The puzzles are a good mix of simple and tricky, with only one or two really having me scratch my head. One piece of feedback - although having all the rooms is great, it can be a pain to trudge your way through them, trying to remember which room had that puzzle where you need to use where to that latest object, though the jumps definitely help.

Another marvel
This guy really knows what he’s doing, the gameplay flow is incredible, such varied and logical puzzles, so nice to have a game you actually have to think about, I have played these in the wrong order so have completed legacy 3 already which was a masterpiece, you can see the developers progression throughout each chapter, not sure how David will be able to top L3 as he’s set his bar so incredibly high, I for one will always buy anything he creates as I’ve had so much enjoyment from this series, I didn’t find it too hard as if you read the journal extracts it gives you subtle hints So as long as you realise everything is important and make notes or take pics it’s an absolute dream game.
I truly believe this game is even better than other greats like the house of D and the Room series as it’s so huge and varied the puzzles are original and not easy and the graphics and story sublime. I also love the music, really eerie, never have I enjoyed a game series so much since the forever lost series, I’m gutted I’ve now finished.

Brilliant game!
Loved every second of this game. There are extensive rooms and tasks to explore. I loved how you had to go between rooms to complete some of the tasks - so you didn’t just finish a room and move on to the next. The tasks themselves were a good mix of easy and more challenging, but none left you feeling like you didn’t have a clue what to do like some other apps and therefore not having prompts/clues was fine. Can’t wait to play the next instalment!

Almost brilliant
This is a fantastic game; good puzzles, some very challenging, some more intuitive, which I liked; I felt I’d had a good brain workout! Just a couple of tweaks would make it really excellent: it says the rooms have been made brighter, but even with my iPad turned up to its brightest level, large parts were still so dark I couldn’t make things out. Especially the brightness on the map was a problem. Secondly, it would help if the number of the room could be on screen when in that room, I got lost several times. Some hints available would be good, too, as I did have to resort to a walkthrough sometimes. But otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed this game and couldn’t put it down, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes games like The Room, House of Da Vinci etc.

Kept me entertained for a couple of hours a day for a week....all for £1.99.
Lots of this type of game get compared to The Room series. Here the puzzles can be a bit more challenging, the graphics aren’t quite as slick and moving around is a bit of a challenge, but for general entertainment value it’s way up there.
I see that the scenes were recently made brighter. Just glad I didn’t play it before.

I really enjoyed this game and found the playing style a good improvement on the first one. I think it compares well against the House of Da Vinci etc, as always I just struggled a little with knowing what I was trying achieve until a certain point - not mentioned here to save spoilers. I especially liked the map which when set correctly can indicate if you have finished off a room or not. Definitely going to do the next one .....now 😀

I love this sort of game, I did find it difficult in parts especially when I found things in the wrong order. I’m not the best so did get some walkthrough help, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe levels of difficulty might be an idea for the future. Looking forward to playing 3 and then hoping you develop more games.

Great game, very enjoyable.
I really liked this game, the puzzles are fairly easy but the tasks are challenging and the graphics are good. One thing that really frustrated me was the navigation across the rooms, I find it to be quite confusing and time consuming to find the rooms you need to find to solve the puzzles, it took me more time to find the rooms than to solve the puzzles but will not deduct stars because of this. Overall quite enjoyable game, well done.

Try this game.
Very good game. Great value for money. On a par with the Room. It would be good if clues were offered. The game is too difficult at times to do without using the walkthrough which is inconvenient. Excellent game though. Will buy new one. It would be the perfect game if there was continuity in the puzzles so that I at least, would have a change to solve them without the use of the walkthrough. But really very very good game and so worth the money.

Fantastic game
I loved this game very challenging couldn’t put it down. Graphics are really good my only issue was with the hints. I only managed to finish the game by watching a walk through on line. I loved this game. Innovative puzzles, great storytelling and beautiful graphics. All for £1.99. I had hours of challenging gameplay. No annoying adverts, just an absorbing pyramid with 24 rooms. I’m sorry that this game is not easier to find on the App Store, I found it by accident after reading another reviewer’s recommendation to try the Legacy series. The Developer David Adrian deserves more recognition for his work. Off to play Legacy 3 now....... !!

Fascinating
Like the first, this is an intriguing journey through the labyrinth within the tomb. Some really unique puzzles and hidden places. The improvements come in the map, being able to travel quickly to key points, and an indication of when a room is completed. The music, whilst a little repetitive, is very soothing - similar to being in a spa. I’ve already bought the third instalment so I’m off to play that. Enjoy!

I enjoyed the first in the Legacy series, but found the navigation in this game a huge improvement. I.e. with the rapid return to certain rooms. Also it was great to be able to see when I has actually completed a room. Both graphics and puzzles are great, and I really look forward to playing the third in the series.

Challenging and fun
I enjoyed this for most of the journey. There were some places where, without a little outside help, ahem, I would never have done something without which I couldn’t have completed the game. Those few spots aside the game presented a set of tricky puzzles to progress through the game. Not too much of a coherent story to pull it all together but I was enjoyable lost for around 8 hours apparently. Can’t quibble with the price so if you enjoy this style of game then go ahead.

An excellent game
I love this style of games and this and the first in the series are something special. This is much better than the first however both left me thinking for ages on how to solve some of the puzzles. The mark of a good point and click puzzle game, in my opinion. The graphics in this game are improved over the first but do both as you want to follow the story. Overall this is a fantastic game nicely placed puzzles, the usual find this and do that, but with a good story line as well. As with all of these you fine yourself lost at times. But that is the mark of a great puzzle game. Totally enjoyable. Cannot wait until we see more from this developer.

Really great and challenging game
I loved this. It’s harder than the usual point and click but that’s a good thing. Great puzzles, lots of attention to detail and a really well thought out game. My only criticism is that the rooms are a little dark, so sometimes hard to see unless you have your brightness on max. Apart from that, loved it. Thanks David for making a great game.

First class game
Wow! Superb game! Everything about this game is very well done! Very clever! Worth every penny & enjoyed playing this game, it did take me quite a while but was well worth it. Highly recommended game look forward to play the third game & hope more will follow but please keep the cost of these game low not like some games I have played costing £6.99 & not nearly as brilliant as this game Thank you

I love this game.....
Since playing the room and the forever lost series I’ve been looking for similar and not found anything...finally a game that just the right level of difficulty and one that is not just following one path but one you have to think about, moving between rooms back and forth, to solve puzzles logically, without aimless wandering...have got all 3 in the series and am hoping for more...

Excellent, challenging puzzler
Really enjoyed this. The puzzles are fantastically difficult, but logical, so it can be done without needing hints or walkthroughs - though you'll need a pen and paper. Decent storyline and graphics. Several hours of challenging gameplay, so excellent value. Incredible that this has been put together by one person: while maybe not quite as slick or polished as The Room series, I thought the puzzles were actually more rewarding. Highly recommended!

Impressive
You are left on your own to explore and to solve logical puzzles in a well rendered (if a bit dark) environment. To be really picky, I would have preferred the clues/notes to be slightly more cryptic, or gleaned from more than one source, but there are still a wealth of puzzles to tax the brain, so I won’t dock a star for that. Have played the first game and just started The third, which looks to better still. What joy to discover a series of decent games.

Well worth it
Have enjoyed both the Legacy games and hope to get the new one once I have credit!
Would have found a hint system useful, ie what room to look in, but I suppose the tick, when you have discovered all a room has to offer, is helpful.
Made me think and wasn’t too easy, hard to get back into if I hadn’t had time to play for a week or two.

Loved it
Came across this by accident and didn’t think I’d enjoy it at first but it’s well worth sticking with it. Graphics are amazing and the gameplay is engaging. The puzzles range from easy to insane but don’t give up - just think things through and read the clues carefully. Took me over 8hours to finish but it’s the sort of game you can leave for a while and come back to it. Very rewarding.

Challenging Puzzle Game
This game was actually quite hard and had me completely baffled at several stages. You have to leave it and come back later when that happens. Most of the time I managed to work it out but later on I had to get some help before I could move on. Without being critical it could probably do with a improved hint system beyond telling me when a room was finished. That said it really is a brilliant game and kept me intrigued for quite a while.

Enjoyable and challenging
I enjoyed this very reasonably priced game but would have to agree with others that many screens are unnecessarily dark, I had to play at maximum brightness and even then it was at times a strain on the eyes (it’s not only young people who enjoy these games).
I would definitely look at buying future games by this developer.
The Notebook could perhaps be expanded to allow for making additional notes as the game progresses.

Absolutely brilliant
Well done to the developer, fantastic game. Very immersive, lots of puzzles, loads to do, more like Eyes of Ara than The Room, lots of exploring and finding, if you like a lot of game for your money, you’ll get plenty here. It’s not too easy but, it’s not too hard either. Thank you David, thoroughly enjoyed that, I’ll be keeping an eye out for your next one

Good
I would have rated this 3.5 stars but went for 4 rather than 3 as it looks like this game has been created by one person, which is a huge piece of work and generally very well executed.
Things I liked:
- original puzzles and artefacts
- Egyptian theme
- story idea
Things that could be better:
- dark rooms, hard to see objects (I get that it's inside a pyramid, but some way of better illuminating the rooms would improve the next one)
- dialogue and narrative (I work with content so words are very important to me)
The maze element of the game may appeal to some people, but as I don't have much time there can often be weeks between picking up a game, so having to remember where certain things are and where to find rooms can be frustrating. The map was good, but I still wasted lots of time trying to figure out how to get back to places.
There are only video walkthroughs available online and no hint system, which was a shame; personally I prefer written walkthroughs.
All in all, it was enjoyable and taxed my brain. Thank you!

Fabulous find
Was looking for a game which was along the same lines as the room. Come across both legacy games by accident and it was an accident I was more than happy to have. I downloaded both and absorbed myself in the story and the puzzles which were very good. The graphics in the 2nd game have improved dramatically from the 1st offering but credit has to go towards the puzzling ability which is evident all through the game. I loved this game and can see from what I’ve played already that this series is going to just get better and better. Well done. Keep it up and don’t leave it too long for the 3rd instalment. 👍👍👍👍

Needs an update
This game requires a decent level of thought and seems quite long. It’s not as polished as the room, for example, and the swoopy camera can be a little annoying, but my main gripes are: 1) why does it have to be so bloomin’ dark? Hiding clues in dark places is just annoying, and going round in circles because you think you might have failed to see something in the gloom isn’t a puzzle, it’s irritating. 2) there’s a glitch. I checked a walkthrough in the end after ages spent doing the above, and after you pick up the compass the vertical orientation is supposed to change, and it didn’t. It’s impossible to progress.

A gem of a game
This is an utterly brilliant game. Pick it up, put it down pick up and your at the same spot, no having to save. The puzzles keep you thinking, but not so difficult that you give up, and I like the fact the one piece of the puzzle leads on to the next, no ambiguity involved. I’m still playing, but felt I needed to give you Mr developer (David) some feedback I’m that impressed.
Would love to see another similar game in the not to distant future

Excellent game
The developer is clearly learning from the experience of producing games. The first game in the series is good but this is much improved with better movement and better all round gaming experience. The controls can still be a little clunky but all in all an excellent game.
The graphics are nice, good sound effects and really good puzzles with a narrative behind them. There are elements of different games here - some similarities to the Room series but without the overall polish and effect.
However, this developer is clearly on the path to making great games. I would highly recommend this and will be looking out for the next offering. Well done and thank you to the developer.
