Problem with the app

There is a problem with this app. Even with internet or mobile data, almost no videos cache at all, even if I close the app and open it again.

Also after downloading iOS 17, all the cached videos became uncached and will not work. I tried offloading the app and resetting the network connection, but still nothing is working.

The app is really great since it lets me listen offline and I’ve been using it for a while but sometimes it glitches and I’m unable to pay and download new music. Every time I try to a message pops up and says that the link is broken and that I should close and reopen the app. Even after doing that, it still won’t work. This app has been great, but constantly glitching. It has great option of music and videos which can be played in various folders. High quality videos and choices when the app works. I have had this app for years and always update when a new one is available/the previous version stops working. Its a shame that there isn't an normally an option to update the version we have. This means you have to start all over with your music collection.

The current issues I am having:

-ability to play music in the background changed a month or so ago and has been a pain since. You can only do this via control panel.

-today the app wont search new songs. No update or new version available. It works at times for a second but there is some kind of fault. I have reset my phone and that makes no difference.

I hope there is a bug fix for this? *update- a few months have passed, no bug fix :( *

Absolutely love this app simple can download songs like the old tubidy app and can create playlists which was perfect however the songs stop when you go on a different app however the work around is to open the app draw and then pull down your control panel pause the song and while the app draw is still there and press play and hey presto it works haha 😅.

I used to have the previous version of this app which was called Player IL until it had an ad playing each time I had opened it. This wasn’t so bad at the time as the ads could be skipped after 5 seconds but it started to get annoying so I deleted the app. Then I downloaded Player GR and had to re-cache all of the previous videos I had cached before.

I was enjoying the app as it was pretty much the same as Player IL bu without the ads. That was until a few days later when I had noticed that ads were playing when I started up the app. Not only were there ads playing but these ads were much longer than the ones before and they were also unskippable which was quite infuriating. This should be fixed within the next update if there even will be a next update. I don’t even mind just small ads that are at the bottom of the screen as they don’t actually get in the way unlike these new ads.

I LOVE this app. Music plays offline and with such great quality and you can make playlists and the songs download quick and I’ve found every song I wanted. One feature which I dislike is that when you download a song it downloads right to the bottom of your song list which means I then have to keep moving it to the top which takes long since I have around 800 songs downloaded. Please change this feature so that the songs download straight to the top of the list.

During the first week or so there was no problem with the caching but when the videos started to uncache themselves I got confused so I deleted and reinstalled the app, only to find some radio stations and nothing of what was there before I deleted it. Apart from that when it did work it was a good app. Please make another app just like this but it actually works(a few days later). I got frustrated trying to find another music app when I realised before the app started to malfunction I executed a software update. So I came up with the idea to reset my phone (not delete all the data just a full reset((I phone 6)) and I went on the app again and it worked. So I suggest if you get all the radio channels try resetting your phone, hopefully it will work. However it still uncached everything after a while.

I absolutely love this app! 95% of the time it works perfectly (which is a lot more than many other apps of this type). It takes no more than seconds to catch a song as long as you have a good enough connection, and then you can listen to it anywhere. I really like the layout, it’s simple but effective. There’s also not too many ads, which I love. There are almost never any pop up ads, but rather ads on the screen which allow you to continue listening. One of my other favourite things about this app is the shuffle option. Maybe this is just coincidence but every time I shuffle a playlist, it always plays it in an order that I enjoy. With songs I listen to most towards the beginning and the songs I don’t towards the end. Overall, other than a few bugs and glitches (which are few and far between), this app is incredible and i completely recommend it!
