Short term cover is available for just 1 hour up to 28 days, so whatever your situation, we’re confident you can get the cover you need. Avoid the hassle and expense of adjusting an annual policy and get instant cover whenever and wherever you are.
All temporary car and van insurance policies offer comprehensive cover as standard and as a separate and standalone policy, there’s no risk to any existing No Claims Discount.
Short term car insurance is available to drivers who:
• Must be aged between 18 and 78 years old
• Must have been a permanent UK resident for the last 12 months 
• Must have no more than 7 licence points in the last 3 years
• Must not have been disqualified from driving for the last 2 years
• Must have no more than 2 fault claims in the last 3 years
Short term van insurance is available to drivers who:
• Must be aged between 17-77 years old
• Must have been a permanent UK resident for the last 12 months 
• Must have no more than 7 licence points in the last 3 years
• Must not have been disqualified from driving for the last 2 years
• Must have no more than 2 fault claims in the last 3 years
Other restrictions may apply.

Discount code not working

So I keep getting emails saying 30 percent discount but when you press on in the app it just takes you here and then when you press it it just takes you to the app with no discount applied

I used this app a few weeks ago. At that time you could arrange for insurance in advance. No issues and cost was cheaper than most. I tried to do same thing today. I already had app and it recognised my details. I asked for 24 hours cover but there wasn’t an option at that stage to select a date. Long story short it appears that you can no longer plan ahead. Insurance is Live as soon as you click to pay so beware as the t’s and c’s as there.

Way to expensive for me

Used this app to see how much it would be to drive my dads car for an hour and it was £90 went and downloaded cuvva and for the same hour it was only £17 for the same benefits. Definitely not for me

Veygo was only one that insured me

I downloaded all 4 of the leading temp cover apps and as a new driver of only 8 months, 2 wouldn’t insure me at all this being one of them; the other was 400+ a month but Veygo turned out to be cheaper than a proper 12 month policy. So I will remain to do a monthly pay and I go subscription on Veygo until my first year is up and more than likely go direct to Admiral (Veygo underwriter) for my next yearly premium.

Guys seriously it was very expensive. I paid £55 for an hour on tempcover, then I found another app called Cuvva for £15 and I got referred from another friend and got £10 off and got a total of £5 for 1 hour.

Daylight robbery

Just downloaded the app and the price is sky high. I use Cuvva and used a car for 2 hours and the insurance was only £11.70 but this app asking £32.99. I would not recommend them.

It’s ok. Quite easy to navigate and quick to set up, but it is fussy about what car you can insure. I’m looking for temporary cover on a car I’m purchasing so I can drive it home, but it refuses to cover me on a Mini (22 years old, licence held for 5 years). On ‘lesser’ cars, it will provide cover for a half decent price.

Pointless

As an 18 year old with a clean license and 1 year driving, they will not insure me on anything, not even a 55hp polo. Even though the description says that they insure ages 18+, so just a waste of time really.
