Making life easier

I’m honestly using this app every morning on my way to work. It’s part of my routine now. I order 5 min before I pass by the Joe on my way to work, and the green juice is waiting for me at the pick up station when i get there. Seamless!

At Stansted go to someone else

Doesn’t list a black Americano or a bottle of water. Had to ask and was told to use another drink and they’d make it for me.Tried to use this at Stansted so I could sit down. No QR code like all of the other outlets so I had to search for it. Took so long to down load I gave up and went to Pret.

Incredulous

There are times in life where I find myself shocked at people’s stupidity. I was told under no circumstances could I order my help out eat out food without having the app installed.

I tried downloading but No email for verification ever arrived, I left Joe’s and won’t be returning. Poor

Walked into a Joe Juices and was told I had to have the app to have help out eat out half price.

Tried to download and sign in, really struggled. Ended up walking out.

Sort it out- only wanted to order 4 drinks and sandwiches at stansted. Took 30 mins to load the app and order. No wonder no one else was eating in.

I wish can give this app a zero instead of a one star This app is poorly developed and basically a very rubbish app. I was supposed get a free drink after downloading the app for first time. But for some reason I have to pay for drink.

Great app. Super cute. Super intuitive. Love the little animations and best of all, it works!

Seems like some people have had bad experiences with it but I use this app a lot and have never had an issue 😄

No Free Juice

The advertising on the store front says is you download you will get a free juice, it's not true. The app is all over the place and is not at all functional.

Bit of a mess.

Branding is the priority, functionality is not. My friend referred me - he was supposed to get a reward but there’s no way to redeem it. I was supposed to get a free drink - it’s not there. No delivery options. Menu is difficult to understand and navigate. It feels a lot like the apps that came out about 5 years ago before everything was subsumed into Deliveroo/UberEats etc etc - someone decided “we need an app!” and they sent some high-level requirements and a copy of the brand guidelines to a cheap third-party, and this is what we got. I still love this restaurant and went out of my way to download the app because I wanted to order from them directly, as I don’t agree with Deliveroo’s ethics. But you’ve made it too hard!

Very ineffective app- can’t even get into it after validating address- tried 2 different devices.

Given you can only use the app to order this definitely needs to be enhanced.

Crashes and time consuming

So bad! Crashes all the time, doesn’t offer full options for drink customisation etc or info on what’s in food/drink etc. Infuriating!

Very poor app

Difficult to navigate. Finding drinks menu is not always easy. Basically it *is* a drinks menu, so this isn’t great.

You Can’t see ingredients of drinks without clicking into specific screen. Without that you are left with their dumb brand names “Iron Man” etc. What’s in it? Who knows?

I won’t ship there again until someone tells me they have had an app overhaul, I mean bottom up.

Preorder / contactless collection = game changer

Really good for contact free pre-order. I order about 5 mins before I walk there and is already ready and waiting neatly packaged with my name.

Can’t fault it really. I’ve started going here a lot as it’s so convenient and I hate waiting, so having my order ready in arrival is awesome.

Why should I install this app to pay or to order? I have ApplePay and contactless card why isn’t it contactless enough? Your facebook login behaves terrible on iPhones with mobile internet. After 15 minutes of fighting for logging in I hated your cafe, even though I really wanted to try a signature drink

Amazing!

Really great app! Very easy to use, nice selection of healthy food, drinks and snacks, you can see all allergens and nutrition info for each product, and I don’t have to wait for my order being made as you can order ahead. Amazing!

No more queuing! BRILLIANT

The App works really great when you don’t want to waste time queuing. I usually order 10 min before I get to one of their stores and then the food is ready on arrival. If I’m sitting and working from one of their stores I can stay seated and order from there, then they call out my name when the order is ready - BRILLIANT!

The more people who use the App to avoid queuing, the more time the employees have to actually make your sandwich and juice.

I think this is a great App from them and the loyalty card purchase is so easy!

Time wasting opportunity

This app was supposed to save you time, you order from inside your house and go to the store at the time they would anticipate it would be ready. But I went to the store, waited 10 minutes past that time, asked about my order and guess what? It couldn’t be found. After 5 more minutes of confusion, they gave it to me and said something like (it shows just on the main ipad or whatever).

Rather pointless - no order ahead

Excitedly installed this thinking it was order ahead as store advertising says “Skip the Line” - but cannot find any order ahead feature in the app, so now uninstalling as I’m not loading an app to collect loyalty points each time without an order ahead capability. Poor effort for 2019 functionality expectations.

This isn’t a loyalty app. It’s just yet another app that needs you to input credit card details manually so you can buy stuff in the shop.

It does let you buy their “pay up front for 10 things and get a discount” cards, but that’s it.

No apple pay. You buy a prepaid thing and it shows a QR code for it. Not quite getting with the times.

Also logged me out and logging in took 10min.

Trashing it.

Key Missing Feature

It would be nice to know what each loyalty card entitles you to. The app used to have it but now I can no longer find out this information anywhere. - it’s not on the app or anywhere online. (Before you could tap on the card and it would reverse to show the back revealing what you are entitled to in terms of extra toppings etc. )

Apart from that, this update is refreshing for the app and keeps in line with the Joe & the Juice theme.

Sleek design, needs more features

Finally a JJs App and digital card! Nice sleek design and straightforward UI. Apple Pay needed. Would be good if you could also add your favourites (drink/sandwich) to the app for when you order... or even better order from the app.
