Radio is buggy
I love to listen to the games on the app but sometimes you have to stay with the app open for the game to continue playing. This is bad functionality - please fix it @ChelseaFC

The Chelsea app is very good to keep up with the news of the players, but the iPad version is broken,
It is very slow to respond and the videos don’t work, if you want a better experience use the mobile app, otherwise it is a great app, sad that you can’t use this on iPad. That is why I removed 2 stars!

Very clunky and unreliable. Shows season ticket matches out of order. Has one for next month showing but not this month’s.
Box office used to reply to emails in minutes, now takes days. We can infer this is one of the reasons they are so busy.

Season tickets not visible
App is clunky and we have had nothing but trouble trying to be able to view our digital season tickets , customer service in short is terrible to non existent and unresponsive. Awful bring back season ticket cards where I don’t have to waste my time trying to get help from the club to resolve. Absolutely 1 star customer experience and that’s being generous.

Why would developers decide to make updates to the app on match day? Makes no sense when fans are at the stadium trying to enter the ground and the app will not load their ticket until the update has been made. Developers please think before you roll out future updates. Thank you.

This app updates far, far too often. I usually click a notification that I want to follow, only to see my app needs updating before I can read it. I update the app, but then opening it, the original article is rarely on the main page, and I have to search for it.

Notification issues
Why is it that virtually every time there is a notification I open the app via clicking the notification and it asks me to update the app. Once I’ve updated it doesn’t take me back to the same place so I struggle to link to the article it was sending me to! The original notification has gone as I’ve already used it. Can’t it allow me to read the article the notification is taking me to but just remind me to update the app?? Am I missing something?

Great app that deserves more exposure on additional devices
This app keeps getting better and better. No matter what you’re looking for, the app will provide it. Highlights, interviews, long-form articles, history. It’s all there. I’m deducting one point because it’s not available on iPad and Apple TV. This depth of content deserves to be seen on larger screen devices. Other clubs (City being a good example) embrace every device form factor. Come on, the Blues! Don’t get left behind!

This app is amazing. It tells me the scores if I ever miss a match(which is hardly ever) and gives me all the extra info! My only snags are these. I think they should make the Chelsea women info more accessible. They still need a lot more coverage and if they have a good deal of info on the app then maybe they could get more fans. Also. The men squad’s gym gallery could be a bit less obsessive over there big muscles!!!! That’s all but overall I love this app and Recommend it to any Chelsea fan!

The quality of this app is amazing and it rarely glitches. I could watch the whole of the champions league final v man city and it was amazing (not live). Full Screen would be better
The app itself is very good, but when we have games like pre season games that are ONLY viewable on the app, I would like to be able to watch full screen on my I pad in the same way that I for example watch on u tube, I’m told the app is only set up for phone use, therefore can only watch on the centre of the I pad at about 1/3 size.

It’s the club app
Useful for finding out some of what’s happening. I’d like some more prominent notifications of when the other teams are playing because I keep missing under 23 matches etc but it’s got better with the women’s team.
Looks like I forgot to send the review however many years ago it was. The app is still a bit clunky and I do gain a lot more information from The Bov on Facebook. I’d like more games shown but I’m double happy that the US tour is being shown. I still don’t always find what I’m looking for. Also who came up with that collar on this season’s home shirt. It’s a horrible shape and the abstract portions of the club badge do nothing other than make it look like the trim on a grannies’ overall. Or maybe a dinner lady.

Useful app
A Chelsea FC app that is provided by the club itself. A good access to what is going on at the club, but don’t expect anything really controversial. Good place to get details on fixtures and check results and if the game’s not on TV you can access their radio coverage. The commentators are fun as they cover the games with blue-tinted glasses (and I wouldn’t expect anything less). They also provide a Predictions game where you can predict scores, scorers and other aspects of the game and you’re going head to head the Chelsea supporters on a global scale. That creates and interest in the game and it’s not a betting format, so great for all to join in. One weird thing. They run a Media Watch output regurgitating reports from the daily newspapers which in many cases is pure fantasy, rumour and questionable. The club doesn’t comment on these stories, but one wonders why they push the stories on their own app. A useful app for all supprters on Chelsea Football Club that own a smartphone.

I’d like to see updates more on day to day business news more so than relying on Twitter which would be claiming to have the news first and foremost, I’d just wish it was the club stating the news instead. I like it. It is full of current information, thinking and has also contained some ‘gossip’ that is a feature of modern football. I enjoy following Chelsea, I have followed them since my Dad was a regular in the 50’s prior to the family moving away for health reasons. I have seen so many heights and lows over time, it is good to see the app representing all of the teams Chelsea now fields, all demonstrating quality and the pursuit of success. Great app (currently) undergoing a redevelopment; live commentary and lots of news and videos etc. Better to listen to the live match commentary rather then the anti-Chelsea biased media.
Please take note app designers and moderators please weed out the many spammers and bogus Chelsea fans who plague the app chat like weeds! Otherwise perfect and hopefully to get better. KBFFH.

The 5th Stand is an excellent app. There is masses of up to date information plus loads of history on The Blues. Match days are great because all of the news is updated regularly. I saw my first game in 1963 and I’ve never in all of those years felt as involved as I do now, because of the 5th Stand!!

I check the app regularly every day. It is full of up to date articles and videos. I can learn all about the club. If everyone was to use this app they could only have great pride in Chelsea. I find it hard to listen to pundits etc who obviously see what they want to see for their own agendas. If they were to use the app they would know how great a club Chelsea is. The club does fantastic things for our fans and the community.

Really good, lots of information. I only have one bad comment and that is during commentary you keep up with play rather than making comments. For example a goal kick is taken then we have some random rambling comments then , that was close and a corner is given. How about giving the build up play so I can picture what is going on. Been a Chelsea fan since I was 13 I’m 70 now. Best time of my football life was meeting Joe Cole when I worked at Countryside. He bought a penthouse from us in Esher and I looked after him and his girlfriend Carly in his penthouse flat. I met his dad and grandma and I used to watch football with him in the lounge on a white leather sofa. He got me tickets for games and I used to watch them with his dad.
Those were really great times as I also met JT26 and his then girlfriend in Joe’s flat.
What I can compare that to is The Faith Stand. Such a great app that gives all us Blues fans an insight into CFC. One that keeps on giving and makes us all proud to support this fabulous club 💙💙💙

As an avid Chelsea fan for over 50yrs it is a great app and is always developing new ideas, great to see the Women’s and youth teams featuring more, It is great to see games on the app, My son works abroad and the app is a great way for him to keep in touch with the latest news. We both do the ‘play predictor’ and see who comes out on top.

I love the Chelsea app as it’s got so much information about the players and the ladies team aswell.
Gives you information on other things that the club is involved in eg charity work.
I use the app quite a lot as living up in Inverness it’s not very easy to get to the games.
I have never been to a game or met any players and have it on my wish list.

Great App
Really enjoy receiving the notifications on what the team are doing and how everything is going.
It’s a shame there aren’t more offers / incentives to visit the club and watch live games. I appreciate that many people much more local than me have season tickets and it makes sense for them to invest time and money, however, for a life long supporter like me who has just made his 60th birthday, it’s frustrating that I can’t get to see the boys in ‘live’ action.
If Chelsea really want to get to the next level with their worldwide supporters and want to appeal to the next generation, then we need to think out of the box!
Blue is definitely THE colour!

Too Busy
As a regular fan with both the official website and the 5th Stand on my phone and iPad. Am I the only person who thinks the 5th Stand app has too much going on. I’ve tried to navigate around it for fun in non match days but find it a chore with too many options and pages to work through. All I want on match days is good commentary and if possible a match highlights longer than three minutes.

Fascinating with room to grow...
The app is great, with some increasingly frequent in-depth pieces which are very worthwhile reading. The clips and longer length media pieces from the past are also great - I have been following The Blues for 55 years, so there is much on which to look back.
The gripes: I really don’t see why the app can’t let us know how to watch the team live on TV. Of course we want to, and if the app is our friend then it tells us how to do so.
I also think the app should be more independent. This season we sacked Lamps and agreed to join the European Super League. No detached and objective constructive criticism of either decision. Makes the app come across like the Directors’ pet poodle. Not a good look. Be courageous enough to be constructively critical. In the long run, honesty will get you more members and followers. COYB!

Good content
I love all the different items that I find in the Chelsea App. The interviews, the news items, the video snippets from the training ground and the fact that there is a place to find something on any of the teams is brilliant. My only criticism would be the need for an off button for the comments though, don’t need to see much of the nonsense and criticism posted, some of which is too personal and frankly down right rude to the players it’s aimed at.

This is the perfect Chelsea app for fans as it updated everything as it happens daily and gives love commentary on the games too bad you can’t watch it. It even lets you compete for rewards with play predictor where you just predict he match stats and if your right you get 5 points people with the most points after a month, a game or a season get rewards.

Whether playing against high class teams or lower class minnows this present Chelsea squad is professionally producing some regular first class performances which suggest that this season can possibly be one of the best ever.
They treat every opponent alike and never underestimate any team they meet, and never ease down after they go ahead.A lot of teams tend to think they have won by. being one goal ahead and go on to lose valuable points. The present Chelsea squad has the correct attitude of making a one goal lead much more! The killer mentality seems to be more visible this season.

5th Stand
As apps go it’s busy. The loss of Chelsea tv is such a disappointment. The app does not replace it. Mind you radio commentary is poor. Long gaps of events in a game filled with opinions, stories and anecdotes. Nothing wrong with that, but I tune in to follow the game not polite conversation. Delays in seeing the goals is beyond Chelsea control. Can’t give the app 5 stars but at least in time you do get to see the game even if it’s on a very small screen. Bring back Chelsea tv. COYB

70 years of age
At my age even turning the T V can be confusing. But even I have managed to find my way around the sight. Looking at other supporters opinions is always welcome although not alway agreeing with them. I will be coming back to Britain and the first thing I will do try to get back into the bridge. My last visit was in 1968 when I was about to join my first regt and now I am in Philippines. My greatest thrill was to be a schoolboy at Spencerpark when every Wednesday the Chelsea and Fulham players joined us to play football.
Our owner has been a breath of fresh air and has more than done his part for the club.
And our manager is doing a great job although I read comments from some of our fans that can do it better. The only thing wrong with Frank is he is not still playing.
I will be back at the bridge as soon as the flights and rules for entry permit. You have giving me not so much as a team but more like a way of life

This app is just brilliant. Telling us everything you need to know from players stories and what goes on in training. One thing I would want to see is transfer news. I know it’s likely not possible as a football club to be promoting Chelsea transfer targets. I’m not saying I would like it on the app, but it would be cool. But very likely. But still this app is the best to keep up with Chelsea F.C💙

Stupendously superb.
An intimate behind the scenes experience for the dedicated fan. By diverting the money from the in-house Tv channel, the club have saved millions, and earned millions more in merchandising revenue and in curating and creating a bespoke fan experience, in which the club allows the paying punter a positive view of a club, which has made its mistakes along the way. The control of a narrative, and a medium to disseminate the message to the public is an excellent marketing move. I’d recommend this app to people who weren’t Chelsea fans. Purely to show off, of course 😂💙

Not sufficient to replace Chelsea TV
My 85 year old grandmother, the Chelsea matriarch in my family, is still absolutely gutted by the loss of Chelsea TV. She used to watch the channel more than any other. There are two issues with the Fifth Stand as a replacement for Chelsea TV: 1) She doesn’t have a smart phone. I would have happily bought her an iPad and/or Apple TV if you built an app for either platform. The latter would really be helpful for the thousands of older viewers that you had who would struggle with a tablet. They find the larger screen of a TV much easier to use. 2) the content doesn’t match up. There should be more subscription features with game content, highlights etc so those who were paying for Chelsea TV can at least partly replace what they were paying for before. Please, please, Chelsea, build an Apple TV app, it would make a massive difference for many older fans around the world who don’t have much else in their lives and don’t have much time left.

This app is great for not just Chelsea fans but also for football fans in general. The app was made people that support any team. They can keep track of how the other teams they know of are doing. They can see new signings play for the first time in Stamfort Bridge or other stadiums. So I suggest downloading this app right now and you will get the true Chelsea experience.

The app itself is well set up, clean and relatively easy to navigate. I also appreciate the delay in goals being posted as it accounts for my slow internet! Where it loses half a star is some of the stories seem disconnected from the goals of the club. I get that stuff about CFC is in the media and fans would want to know but constant negative transfer rumours aren’t ideal from the official app/club mouthpiece

Great App
The Chelsea app has a lot to offer, I’ve really enjoyed using it during the preseason, just a few pointers on how to enhance the app, on the line-up section I would like to see the team on a pitch few so you can see formations for the team, also player profiles from the line-up screen for the Chelsea players with up to date stats, recent interviews and match ratings maybe. But the app is great, just something’s I would like to see
