Loading issues…still

After the most recent update I’m still not able to view my cameras. It loads to 99% then starts loading all over again. None of the cameras will load. Totally useless app at the moment. I have the cameras for safety, I’ve ended up going out and buying a ring doorbell so I can have some feeling of security.

Great Equipment Poor App

This app gets worse on every release

The amount of times I have to restart the app to get a stable picture on the screen, and for it to stay there.

I have changed routers and iPhones and this app gives more instability than most…!

Disappointed.

The app was already choppy since before the IOS 18 update, but now the camera videos aren’t even loading. I have these up for safety, and yet I can’t even check them.

Initially there was hope for this app when we installed these cameras, but eventually it showed the complete lagginess of playback, the crashing and having to reset the app. Now I can’t even watch the live cameras, it comes up as video loading and goes up 1 percent every-time, as soon as it gets to 99 percent it starts all over again.

How to reset password

Trying to reset my password and get to the point of requesting a code. I get the code but have no idea what to do with it!

I’ve been with ZOSI for many years and recently I bought the 1680p dvr for better quality and performance everything was going smoothly until the app stopped working properly can’t see each camera in full screen witch before I could, and zoom in and out now you can’t … shame really… please fix this issue….

Works yet more limited features since updates

I’m using the latest app with latest iPhone and iOS, in the past the app would let me view all 4 cameras on my screen and choose a camera and enlarge that and choose hd so i could see camera footage clearly. Since the latest update though that’s gone i can no longer view just one camera let alone choose hd quality so im very limited to see anything as no one camera option now and i cannot zoom in.

If i close the app try from main screen it lets you do it there yet it crashes the majority of the time on there.

If it doesn’t update fixing this soon im tempted to go with another brand setup as its poor how it is now.

Plan wiring

Took time to plan wiring, but generous length of leads made all possible, except one where I will need an extension to the garage, which in my house is at bottom of the garden.

Very good picture quality. One camera overlooks a neighbour, so I asked her if she minded, but she was delighted, as she felt the security just could be a benefit in future.

Since last update playing the recording back is not working properly. Will play but won’t skip to next detection. Even on search the recording can not be viewed even though it’s showing as recorded…?

Overall the system works well but a high speed internet connection is vital to view remotely.

Great app but some features need improving

I find the app pretty easy to use but what it comes to smart detection it can be abit too sensitive even on low and notifies motion every couple of seconds an it drives you mad. Overall it’s pretty good just could do with some improvements/ upgrades

What a great product!

What is so amazing about this cctv product is that, even though I bought it while in the uk and brought it to Africa for use, it worked perfectly under the harshest conditions and extreme temperatures. In the event of failure of electricity which happens a lot in some African countries, the product resumes recording automatically when power is restored, without intervention. The combination of simplicity and image quality is unrivalled. What is more, I can watch live on my mobile phone from anywhere, with the same image quality. The ability to zoom the live footage on my phone is a really cool bonus for me. Well done Zosi!

The cctv system as whole from Zosi is both affordable and easy to use. The app is handy to check on CCTV when away from the house. You will have to hard wire to your router unless your system has Wi-Fi.

No Support for improving Zosi Technology for End Users

The Zosi Z4 Lite system works well with clear images produced from recordings, however, there’s a problem which reduces the usefulness of the system because Zosi Technology has not included a camera function for switching a camera’s light on/off, the most you can choose is use a black and white recording, but with advertisements of clear colour recordings at night, the bright white light can prevent this. Contact with Zosi Technology representatives on this issue have not been fruitful because they block the way from making suggestions to Zosi’s software development team, and there isn’t another way for end users to offer feedback for Zosi’s improvement. Overall, buying Zosi proves to be frustrating for the Zosi customer because there is no real support, only money collection smiling.

Worst thing I have ever bought!

The App is just crap. Keeps asking for password until finally decides to login in the cameras. Don’t even think about going and rewinding the footages in the App(just the most important thing in a system like this) because is most of the time impossible to do it and if by any chance you are able to do it you need to work out the times showing in the App because they do not correspond to the actually time of the footage recorded. Thanks you very much for making me waste a lot of money and time. Oh…and is so nice to login and having the App asking for a review every single time and then when you try to give it it’s worth…. 1 🌟it just cuts you off…such a nice touch👌!?!?

The app used to be fine. But recently they updated it pushing the cloud service more and more. Have to select memory card every time now as it defaults to cloud each time. Also can’t see the previous days of video to easily select what I want to watch it just plays the whole day from the beginning. Pretty useless update.

Cameras are amazing why have such a diabolical app ????

Well the cameras are just amazing could not have asked for any more and was even more impressed that there was an app to go with them and free of charge….. however whats the point in providing something for free when it does not work????? The picture quality is great however when i have all 4 cameras on at the same its not live it sticks on a picture from 5 hrs ago and when you click on the camera you want to see it buffers for about 40 seconds how is this any good. I would rather pay a small fee like £1:99 a month and have something that actually works. Its such a shame because the cameras pice and quality are fantastic. I would give 5* and i have given the cameras 5* on ebay where I purchased them from unfortunately the app gets a 1 and thats 1 too many.

I have a competitor system for around fours years which was pretty good, but my new secondary budget system has surpassed all my expectations...

Very good priced as I just purchased a box only and it was up and running within minutes with my original cameras...

Worth every penny and incredibly easy to set up, signed in and five cameras cleaned and working like new...

Camera overall good

The set up is easy enough at first and the camera is good but the app is always disconnecting. I set it up it works fine for a few weeks then goes offline! The actual camera are still working just not connected to the app which is frustrating as it’s happens a dozen or more times over 2 years and it’s not rash to diagnose and reset up without emailing support which I don’t want to have to keep doing.

Was great until the recent update

The security camera is great and images are really clear on the app, even on a night time. However the app seems to have had an update - I used to be able to open the app and see all of the camera images on the screen and then click on one of the cameras and swipe between them. However, now when I open it the app shows as device offline, when I click on it, I can view the footage from the cameras, but can’t swipe between each camera to view any footages and have to click back, then go onto whatever camera I want to view.

Please put it back to the way it was, before the update, where you could just swipe between the cameras to view the footage.

I will say that the new way to rewind and view motion detection is easier, so that is a great feature on the new update.

Now unusable

App has been getting more unstable in recent updates and latest is virtually unusable. Even on a local direct network connection login the live stream is so compressed you can’t make out the time stamp and viewing historical videos doesn’t work. First the app has the spinning “Connecting” icons and takes around 30 seconds to load up and bring up the play button. This button never works and nearly always causes the app to crash, often causing my iPad to completely reboot.

Brilliant cameras

These cameras are well worth the money and the money was well spent their images are crystal clear and in a more black-and-white is also crystal clear so I would highly recommend these easy install easy to connect you get masses amount of cabling your camera totally worth every single penny and would buy these again if I need to, I am thinking that I might have to get another camera for the back of the home has been disabled as much easier to check on my iPad to see what my dogs are doing and if anybody come to the front of the house I can see this too and also receive an alert simply brilliant, and it may take me some time to raise it a bit more money for the other camera that I may need.

Good system for the price, but the app lets it down.

I bought the ZosiSmart camera system approx 2 months ago and have been using it for around 6 weeks now. The camera quality is good, the fitting will require some knowledge and drilling through walls etc if you want a tidy job, so you’ll need a professional to install. Everything works as you would expect, the night vision is of a decent quality but fog, rain and mist can make the picture a little harder to see clearly. I’ve also had problems with spiders making webs across the lens of the cameras which also distorts the view. I bought the system without hard drive and installed my own. It was very easy to install by myself and has worked perfectly. If you want the option to record you need to buy the system with a hard drive.

The app is very disappointing if I am totally honest. When viewing the cameras by the app it can take approx 30 seconds for the image to start playing. Even when I am sat in the house using my fibre broadband at minimum speeds of 50mbps I can not get the playback function to work. So I’m my opinion it almost makes the system pointless. If I am at work and my house alarm is triggered, I would like to be able to rewind footage to see if I can see anyone entering the property, but that function on the app simply does not work.

All in all a decent system with decent quality cameras at a fair price, but the app is of poor quality.

Brilliant cctv system but now not so

Had this over a year now. Excellent system, excellent coverage and ideal system. Currently have 4 cameras set up and adding a further 2 soon.

June 2020 - Have dropped it to 3 stars as the app won’t connect to my live cameras but will play back. Also no matter what setting I have it on the tv, after a few seconds it changes to 9 cameras.

Great system terrible app

The cctv system brings the rating up from a minus figure for the app. Sadly a very good quality system which is easy to install and gives a high quality image is hard to work both the ancient software and the horrifically glitchy and awful to operate app. When I open the app, the screens are all black - I just have to know which ones belong the cameras I’ve installed. Play back crashes throughout every single time without fail. It doesn’t load, doesn’t move through the timeline, freezes, and then crashes. Every time. I would like to say there have been improvements but there have been no changes and the issues of 8 months ago remain unresolved. It’s a nightmare to watch anything back, but when I do - at least I’m pleased with the quality of what’s been captured! The time on playback is now out by around 1 hour 15 mins. Playback is also not immediately captured. So you not only miss the action on the screen live because it fails to open after several minutes of loading, but you have to wait about 3-5 mins to then watch it back on playback. Not good. No alerts now again - suddenly stopped working. Great cctv cameras. Appalling app.

Good system

We’ve had the 8 Chanel four camera system for over two years now and not had a problem with it. In my opinion It’s a better option than getting an alarm as you can clearly see the night vision red lights glowing around the camera lens showing any potential intruders that they are watching.

Decent but cheap

I have been using my external WiFi cctv camera for over 1 year with no issues and have used footage for police enquiries a couple of times

The only reason I haven’t given Zosi 5 stars is the lack of a 4 or 5mp camera or an external ptz unit

Playback not working

App works good but not fantastic. Takes long to load video when on playback. Can’t do playback on same day but works on a different device not sure why need that to be fixed ASAP. For example today is March 31st, I can’t see anything that happened on March 31st till the next day. Please fix or else would be 5 stars!

The zosi camera systems are great value for money. The app is much better than it used to be since the recent update. There are a few small issues and it doesn’t resize screen to fit with the apple “notch” and curves. but Overall Not bad at all.

Fantastic system easy to install

Bought from geek and it was delivered within a few days. Very simple to install and was very easy to configure to work on my iPhone

I can now watch what is going on with the security cameras which ping me with an alert as soon as they pick up any movement

Very clear and great pictures. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
