Amazing but the ads are quite annoying
I love the app. I have been constantly looking at video editing app and have tried a few out but when I saw zommerang I knew it would be so good. I know you get millions of reviews but could you please take the time to read and reply to this one. I normally ask for one thing that could be improved and with this one it is a very simple fix. First of all I would like to point out that the in built camera option is amazing and I can see myself using that function a lot however there is one thing that would greatly improve the app. I get you need some kind of pro benefit so you have more templates and more editing options etc but there are far too many ads to the point where they are extremely annoying and keep coming up all the time. Could you maybe reduce the number of ads that show up or let us skip them as this would make the app so much better? Thank you in advance for responding to my review.

Very good but could improve
It is fun and good for younger ones too. But it can go offline ALOT and that can be annoying sometimes when your new it can be hard to find how to use it but when I started my friend showed me everything and it can help if your finding it hard to talk on camera and you can always improve. Pros: amazing, you can make your own videos or if your not feeling up for that you can scroll and if theres a template you want to try just do that! You can make a private profile or public, and it’s a good game to do with anyone! Friends, family or just solo! It’s kid-friendly so no need to worry!
Cons: every time you get on the app, pro plan pops up without even touching anything. Zoomerang, FIX THIS PLEASE. And there are SO. MANY. ADS. Some are shorter than others but some are actually long. And when you cancel the add, Theres this thing that pops up at the bottom of your screen advertising for no ads and it gets REALLY annoying and REALLY in the way.

Zoomerang is an absolutely amazing version of a kids TikTok. I absolutely love it. The only thing I would say is the fact that it has ads but it doesn’t matter. I’m still rating at five stars
I’ve honestly had so much fun on this app, even though I haven’t posted it in ages. It’s still so much fun to make Videos me and my cousins have gotten a lot of convincing our parents to have sleepovers with this app I love it so much and parents definitely let your kids get this app. It is completely child friendly.

This app is amazing it has a wide range of effects and the cool ai features,I use it pretty much whenever I am doing a video, but it also has numerous glitches and things that don’t work; eg: whenever I click on my camera it is a black screen and I have to refresh the app for it to work, if you add an overlay, you can’t layer effects, instead you have to save the video and add it to your projects from there. Over all, it’s a great app but if I could tell the devs one thing it would be to add a layer tool, and patch a few glitches.

Even my mum loves it and it’s so much fun every single time I go to school every single night basically I iPlay it it is so much fun like it’s my dream come true. I am so happy. Hi this app is great it’s like a TikTok for kids I’ve had this app since I was 8 and I’m 12 now I love how nice everyone is and for parents this app I have never seen inappropriate stuff on this app I have used this app with my friends and on my own and you only have to login to post stuff but you can still make videos just not post them if your not sighed in so it’s really safe there is a little bit you need to pay to get but the app is still really fun without paying cuz you might not have all the stuff but you still have a lot to do and use on it

Why is it so good and so bad
Hey guys just wanted to say how good this app was ,when I first got it. It was like the craze and people at work and stuff found it epic like teeth whitening for agencies and stuff. But let’s be real what isn’t something you HAVE TO pay for like seriously. I instantly realised how inaccessible it was for the editing factor. Three goes and you’re gone all pay for like really. No warning.
Second leg the constant glitches like when you start to shoot it always goes black and you have to constantly click to get it working. Also I don’t get why this app is tracking me like I look in settings for what the first time and it says this app may use data to track you. AND ITS AN APP THAT MAKES VIDEOS.
Sorry for that but really I do love this app too coz it is the safer more friendly version of TikTok. Recommend this but be careful xx

This app is basically my fav app. You can make videos use other people’s and it’s enjoyable for everyone but one thing is that people can put hurtful comments so either zoomerang should stop hurtful comments or I can just turn the comments off entirely. I have a private account which is safer being a child. Having a private account means that u get follow request and you can pick whether you want them to follow you. Overall this app is great and would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s interested in getting involved in this app!

Good but …
Basically I got zoomerang bc I wasn’t aloud TikTok and I had heard that it has edits and interactions like TikTok , the app overall is amazing but I am extremely upset as I have worked hard and achieved 1 k followers but at lunch time today my friends had messaged me asking wether I had deleted my zoomerang account as it wasn’t appearing, I hadn’t so I decided to take a look on my account and It came up with the sign in page , I tried login in and it asked me wether I wanted to activate my account because it had been deactivated , it then said that an error had occurred so I waited and tried again a few hours later and once again it said an error had occurred . I went onto the settings and clicked on contact support , I told them what had happened and that I think I have been banned , I am currently waiting for a reply . If I cannot get my account back then I will be devastated. Hope you get back to me . 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Scamming app that steals your money
Bought the app after seeing some AI overlay that I wanted to experiment with on a weightlifting video. Pops up saying it’s about £30 a year(advertised as ‘unlocking all options with pro version’). Thought it was expensive but gave it ago nonetheless. Clicked on the ai filter, states afterwards that every option requires more coins that have to be purchased so basically at approvingly £4 a video. Instantly thought this was bad enough but adding insult to injury I bought the coins for a video whereupon it states ‘you’ve been added to the cue, do you want a notification when it’s finished?’. Hours later I’ve heard nothing, went to check my prior purchases and the folder is empty. So I’ve lost £35 for abositekt nothing. Attempts to contact their team have been ignored (chat states they’ve been active but I’ve not received any answers). Now I seek out a full refund for the year and the coins. Still can’t get answers, guarantee it’s a mess around trying to get off the yearly auto charge as well. Extortionate on top of being none functional. This has forced my hand to write my first review on here. Avoid at all costs

Good but could be better
Zoomerang is amazing for those who think TikTok isn’t the best for them. It is a bit like an app called capcut you might be familiar with it actually , in capcut you have templates and you have them in Zoomerang as well which makes it easier to make videos. However, I wish the creators of this app would not make a lot prime for example there are some barbie filter videos but you have to be prime to be able to use them which I find annoying also there is a setting that says ‘set price for template’ and I think all templates should be free but that’s just my opinion. Posting is also quite difficult you have to do loads of thing to be able to post videos and sometimes when you have said to post a video it glitches and only posts a picture of a certain time in the video ( usually the start) and it’s very frustrating when you have spent a lot of time creating and figuring out how to make a template of your own and add music , put text in and emojis is some cases , and also when you have spent a lot of time editing it. It’s still a good app though. I just wish it didn’t have adverts because if they didn’t it would make it so much better because who likes ads? That’s right no one. But a good thing is you can choose who sees it and who doesn’t for if you have your account of private you can still choose who the video can go to which I find very good. Overall it is a good app and I would recommend it.

It kind of took me a while to figure out how to edit but other than that the templates are really useful you do not have to do a lot of work and you can watch the videos just for fun you can even to make you own even become famous this is why I love this app but you should put a edit button on the top and you can make you edits there because I never knew you had to press on your profile zoomerang ai has helped me though that is why I love it you have something to help you so this is why I recommend this app honestly the most helpful thing when making videos you don’t even have to insert an effect you got the templates to help!

Amazing but some problems
When I got zoomerang I was so excited to see what it was like. But later on zoomerang when I tried to do a shake effect it wouldn’t shake I kept trying and it didn’t work and now I do loads of flashes and I’ve gained nearly 100 followers when I try to mix up colours it doesn’t work so can you please fix the shake effect to make it work more better than it was and it’s really unfair that you have to pay for the ai effects which I really want to do please do more updates and more new effects I’m really excited for the new things that might happen on this app when I do a video it just gets me off the app so can you please read this and fix it thanks. Mid range app, a few bugs
The app is fairly easy to figure out how to use. It takes a few tries to work out how the different features work but once you’ve generated a few it becomes easier.
Still a little buggy, the music section to add sounds to your video doesn’t work. AI generated music just says ‘check your network connection’ which is definitely there (I’m posting this review from the same device on the same network) and you can’t use Apple Music to add songs as backing tracks due to DRM so it’s impossible to have videos with music currently.
It works ok in all. A word of warning though, to generate any video or picture at all you have to pay for a years subscription. There’s no preview to tell you what you’re going to get. I wouldn’t have paid for a year if I’d seen the results first.

Hi so basically Zoomerang is really cool! It’s just when u have your storage full it’s says “ we need access to ur media files” when I have access aloud so I tap on it it says I have all Photos on. And they when I go back to Zoomerang it deleted my whole video that took me 6 takes! Please fix rhos bug, also when i try making a video it goes all black and wont let me record, i always update and check if my phone is up to date too. And when i go on zoomerang this orange thing at the top has a mic on it that means something is using my voice and can hear me. it was like that for a whole 15 muinets 😬😳it scared me so i turned of my phone and went on photos and randomly had a photo of me like this " 😥" i never took it and it scared me so much! pls fix !!!!!

It’s ok
I recommend for people who can’t have TikTok, I don’t want it but the filming quality is when you film on the camera are pretty rubbish, especially if you’re on an iPad filming on a template is fine, but filming on the camera. You can’t even add a timer. and the challenges are pretty boring. The filter is also rubbish. I think there should be better filters and more range and and a lot of people do is thing with hearts, and I can’t do that. I don’t know how they do that. I think we should be clear examples of how you do things and more options.

Love the app but…
I recently downloaded zoomerang as an app I would use for making videos. It is a great app but there are a few problems I’d like to point out. Firstly- I do not understand why the app is age 4+ as you can post videos allowing anyone to see your face I don’t think 4 year olds should be posting just yet. Secondly- I have many glitches such as, when I go onto the featured or for you page my sound does not work so I result to searching things up. Thirdly- it takes up a ridiculous amount of storage with its documents and data even though I have deleted all the videos I’ve taken on zoomerang. I have actually deleted it now and will be getting it back but fingers crossed it doesn’t take up much storage.

Hey, I don’t want to waste your time so I’ll be quick. This app is amazing! It’s legit tiktok but you can’t message. I’m not going to focus on the negative side but ye. It even has pre made templates you can use so you don’t have to edit the entire thing! It literally feels like having TikTok! There are even monthly challenges you can take part in to win things like prime (a thing where u get everything cuz some templates are for prime users only!). I honestly love this app and it’s great because you more likely to be safe from online bullying on this game. I honestly am obsessed with this app so much! My mum doesn't want me to have TikTok since I got bullied by my supposed ‘bestie’ but she is fine with me having this! Great but…
Ive been using this app to gain subscribers on my yt (search up carrotdud) and ive managed to get 50+! There’s just one small issue i would like to say
When you start a new project, i wanted to use a flashtrend to add to it, the actual product just gets smaller! This disappointing me, so i had to screen record it without and then use that recording to go on the effect’s menu, then do no effect until im at the part where i need to use the flashtrend!

Zoomerang
Zoomerang is an amazing app. You can edit, post and a lot more! However, there are some things i have found in this app and they really bug me. One is when you press the “+” button, you can record and add filters. Not saying its a bad thing, but you can only save it after you have recorded it. I thought i would be able to post right away after recording. You can only post on your account and clicking the “template” button. Two is coins. You can earn coins by adding coins to buy your templates. However i think you should start with some coins because some people wont be able to get many coins. Thank you.

I absolutely adore this app!! I’ve been on it for almost a year now and I wish I had found it sooner.
Editing:
The editing tools are fantastic, it’s super easy to edit on there and so MANY great options. From pauses, to flash trends, to a virtual game - it’s awesome! You can pick from a huge variety of fonts, stickers and gifs. I personally love Zoomerang for it’s easy editing tools.
People:
The people on this app are just as great as the editing tools 😃 Everyone is so kind and supportive of your creations when you post! I have seen no hate comments on this application at all, everyone puts positive comments! People share their feelings, lives, edits, thoughts and it’s just like a feeling of a ‘Zoomerang community family’.
Trends:
Although all the trends on Tiktok aren’t here, 3/4 of them are! Varying from: dances, transitions, songs, and much more!
There are also lots of unique trends that aren’t on Tiktok too.
Overall:
I think that Zoomerang is better than Tiktok! 💯 I love the app so much and follow lots of content creators! The one thing is that you can gain money by posting - set prices for video for people to buy and there you go - (optional) I recommend downloading this app for sure. :)

Okay I really love this game! It’s not hard it will ask you for an account you can either get one if u like to post so other people or pu it in your drafts but you don’t need one! You can just feel free doing them save them to your camera roll share them to your friends or even put them on other apps! new update ruined it
Hey zoomerang so I hope u read this but even if u don’t I still want to share my opinion. So basically I grew addicted to this app before the new awful update. I made awesome vids and gained followers. The vids were amazing and I used tons of tutorials. But here’s the issue. U guys got a new update. And I hate it! It’s so ANNOYING! Every time I split a video to get a cool transition it adds a pause. Now ik how to get rid of it. I did but afterwards I added something on top of the split vid and it added the pause back in again and I kept trying to remove it but it didn’t work. It frustrates me just typing about it. Next I put in two freaking pauses and it still didn’t pause. Or should I say freeze. IT DIDNT FREEZE! I don’t get it why did u change zoomerang it was perfect! Now I have no idea to freeze it like why! I will delete ur app if u don’t change it back to normal. I hope u read this 🤬🤬🤬

I have to admit when I first started to use this app I had no clue what I had to do.
But then I clicked on a video and I… basically just washed off into Wonderland, this app is totally addicting and very easy to fall in love with!
Which is the fact why I love this app so much it makes me express myself, and if you like me I’m not allowed TikTok.
But this is way safer than TikTok and I use a Zoomerang all the time and it’s just perfect to use and kids safe.
I would highly recommend this app to all children especially children that want TikTok but I’m not allowed to have it because of that age, so I recommend a Zoomerang is better than TikTok!

I have one problem though when you look at the videos months and minuets are both ‘m’ e.g you look at a video and it was made 4 months ago it would say 4m and if it was made 4 minutes ago it would also say 4m. Great app
This app is great and there is loads of things I love about it but the only downside is that it does kick me off a lot. I am not sure if this is just me or if it happens to everybody but it can get slightly annoying. But apart from that I love this app! Maybe shouldn’t be a 4+
This app is so fun and would recommend! However, lots of the language (swear words) used in the songs for peoples tutorials are definitely not appropriate for 4 year olds- Other then that… this app is so fun!!! Any children looking for an alternative for tik tok I would recommend! This is basically tik tok but for children (kind of) … I wouldn’t give this a 5 ⭐️ because all the really good tutorials are pro!!! My favourite Zoomerangers are mylee, Ruby and 711beats!!! This app is the best app I have ever got! I have made my own account ( SunshineRoses) and i have had loads of fun creating videos!! Zoomerang is amazing!!
This app is great because if you do not allow your child to use tik tok because you feel they are to young this is a 4+ solution. No swearing. No hassle except one thing… it’s such a pain to post a video!! But, you have to save your video, press the little pencil icon in the right hand corner and you will come to a editor sorta thing. From there you go to the bottom of this editor page, and scroll along to tutorial. Press yes when it gives you an option and scroll to the end again. Press overlay and use the video you just did. Drag it along to the end and zoom it in and there you go!!!

Brilliant but one problem
This App is amazing Because people that don’t have the chance for like their parents give them tic tok or Instagram. This is like a child friendly sight like no swearing. But one of the problems is that every time I tried to make a tutorial on my music I pressed my video and it would show crop music and then when I try and crop the music it wouldn’t show like the lines for like the beat and then it would just go away so it’s kind of difficult for me to do what I wanted to do so maybe try and do this like fix this bug. Zoomerang is amazing don’t get me wrong but a lot of videos need to be paid for you have to have another app to unlock them. I use this app all the time as a replacement for TikTok and to be perfectly honest there is no difference and if there was it would be that this one is like an inch better! I enjoy using this app as it is so fun and easy to make a video. A reason that it is better than TikTok is that it is so much more advanced, you can use a tutorial while shooting and they have more special effects. Most videos you do not have to pay for unless you want Zoomerang Pro. I highly recommend this app to anyone that is looking to have fun or just to make cool, funny videos without spending days of editing as Zoomerang Edits and make all the cool things in the video happen all you have to do is follow the instructions. This is a amazing app the filters are great so are all the features but I feel like the people that a creator has followed should be able to have a private messaging area to message people. This area could also be used for Zoomerang staff to notify users of new features, this area would be called the inbox, once a creator messages another user there would be a conformation button once you opened the chat for the first message. The box would say: *users name* would like to start up a chat with you would you like to accept? Yes, no. The creators would also be able to send images from their camera roll. If you decline this then the persons chat would be deleted.

the reason i chose 5 star is because zoomerang is overall amazing. i really like the effects and filters. despite this, i have a few requests. so to start off, to make the “For You” more personalised even if you don’t have an account. secondly, the watermark. i understand about needing the watermark but would you maybe be able to have it at the end instead of the whole video as it can get quite annoying. other than this, i love zoomerang and it is one of my most used apps :)

Hi, if you are wanting TIk Tok but your parent/ guardian says nope you're to young... I would recommend this app! I am a bit to young for TIk Tok but I’m loving this app as it is appropriate, fun, and it inspires you. The only bad things are: most of the effects are money/ premium, I have also noticed that when you record your own sound it is out of time , one other thing is that sometimes when you are doing your own voice it come up as silent! These bad things aren’t that important as you still use the app. One really good thing is you can film without an account! Loving the app, loving the new challenges, just loving the new filters! Xx

I absolutely love Zoomerang but I don’t get why u have changed it to children can post on it and people can follow u and stuff. It is really annoying. Zoomerang was fine before because u couldn’t post unless u had tiktok and nobody could follow u and now loads of people are posting all the time and people can follow u and see your videos even if you haven’t posted. The only thing I do like about the new changes are that there are more variety of songs to do tutorials with. My mum also told me of because people were following me. I have used this app for ages now and I really love it because it’s like tik tok and I’m not allowed that. I did delete it for like a month and today I have downloaded it and it won’t let me on it is just stuck on the loading screen!!!! I have deleted the app and downloaded it again ; still doesent work. Well, it’s good app, but I don’t understand why we should be paying, like every single app that has these effects and stuff....you have to pay for! I don’t care for your ‘’3 day trial!’’ I just want to edit my video using effects! And also, when an ad pops up, I’m not mad, but the second after I press that ‘x’ in the top corner....BOOM! You’re like......Remove Watermarks? Remove ads? NO! I don’t WANT your stupid offers! I don’t want to be paying for anything because I’m not understanding why I should pay....FOR PUTTING EFFECTS ON MY TIK TOKS! Well, the creators of Zoomerang are like,
'I mean, how else would we make tons of money?’
This app is like Fortnite, you get it from the app/game store for free...and then you have to pay for pretty much everything else! I installed Zoomerang, feeling happy that I could edit my Tik Toks, but here I am again, annoyed, like I was when I installed Video Star!
