Ads don’t appear (conveniently) until you try to connect the VPN. Then it takes you straight to the safari app and website of the ad, very annoying and cheeky of them to create a system like that.

Rubbish on iPads.
I’ve used this app in a free trial and it has major UI and UX bugs for iPads. First, the app defaults to portrait mode, which says it it not optimised for iPads. When I try to enter my pin to allow VPN on my iPad, it flips to landscape and makes the bottom half of my screen unresponsive. With that, I cannot enter my pin to actually use the app.

Uk servers don’t work most of the time
All was good when I first subscribed but 6 months down the line the UK servers only work 50% of the time

Certain ad renders app inaccessible
The VPN itself works well, the big issue is a particular candy crush ad that plays when opening the app.
I’m not usually one to complain about ads but the exit button for this one appears in an area of the screen beside the notch on iPhones, this area doesn’t function as a touch screen, basically making the app inaccessible as this is the ad that plays most so closing the app and opening it again rarely works to get a different ad that can be exited.
So please, either get rid of the ad or resize it!

Stop the Candy Crush ads
The VPN is very good but it’s the candy crush ads that are terrible, every time I open up the app I see a candy crush ad and I’m unable to skip it. I tried exiting out the app and opening it multiple times but the ad still pops up. Please remove these candy crush ads.

How to unsubscribe?
Why is mine still active? I unsubscribed it already on my apple ID the day i got the free trial because it is slow. I wanted a vpn where i could play games with my friends from all over the world but this just doesn’t do it for me. That is why I unsubscribed the moment i tried the free trial. Love the app. Been using it for a while now. But as I haven’t brought the premium could you let you i I between 3 countries without premium as when I connect I have to turn it off and wait ages to join a new country to use my emails and work related cases without hem being blocked. Feel cheated.
I bought the premium version hoping it would work in China and other Middle East countries. It doesn’t and no where there is a list that says it won’t work in some countries. After I left China, it still recognises my IP address to be in China. Worthless. Avoid buying premium. Go for other free ones that work perfectly well in China and other countries.

Impossible to cancel auto renewal - is that deliberate?
Clicking the "auto renewal" toggle to cancel auto renewal takes you to a screen to edit your subscription frequency (weekly, monthly, yearly etc). However, that page does not have an option for completely cancelling the subscription!! I'm going to flag this to Apple support!!

Not a free trial
Terrible product, free trial attempts to trick you into subscribing. It claims it’s a week free trial. But then when you submit your details it says “if you use this product within 14 days you will not be eligible to cancel”. I’m worried I’ve accidentally signed up now and there is no clear way I can cancel. Very suspicious app.

You will feel absolutely cheated if Netflix is what you want to get out of Turbo! For the 7 trial day it works enough to persuade you to make the purchase! But that’s it! You won’t be able to connect to US Netflix! Don’t bother asking for refund or help to get it fixed! They will politely confuse you into letting go! Even one star is too much for cheaters!
