downloaded this app to creation animations and export. when i upgraded to pro, none of their features worked, didn't allow me to downloaded and pro features weren't accessible. deleted app, re-downloaded it, tried bug fixing, nothing worked. wish i could get refund for the months i wasted.

What has happened to this app???

Ambient sounds missing?
I absolutely love this app and have paid for membership for a few years. However, I’ve recently switched from a Samsung tablet to an iPad and have noticed that unfortunately the ambient sounds are missing on the iOS application. This was one of the main reasons I used the app, so I have cancelled my subscription until (hopefully) this feature is added

Dont buy full version
I bought this app for one-time purchase subscription. The application worked very well, but after a year, they asked me to pay and re-register. If I bought it one-time purchase, not annually… it means you pay one time for ever and no need to pay more.I sent an email to fix the problem, but received no response. Slow to improve.
I started using these apps when they cam out and where way ahead of many others and good price bracket.
But sadly they do not seem to update or add any new filters or a very slow at doing so compared to other apps or software. Ral shame because the platform is super user friendly. Just not enough exciting new edits to make.

Features disappeared with no explanation
After using the app for months and finding it an extremely useful tool. As of last week all of the features have began disappearing and I now am left with limited editing capabilities. It’s gone from 10s of options to just 2 under some features. I imagine this is a move to start focusing on their AI image generator, which doesn’t really work… Disappointing, as they fixed something that wasn’t broken.

It was a five star until they made it so you need "pro" to export. What's the point in making it a free app if you're going to make us pay to download the video we made on our device? I was going to create a really good wallpaper with this but it said to export I needed to ‘go pro’ but my family is broke and can’t afford £1 whatever every month. So I screen recorded but this alien appeared and said your real loop awaits go pro! I am quite sad and disappointed at this. Fun Fun Fun.
Having great fun with this app. I have three grandchildren and we’ve spent many an hour playing and creating effects on the free version of this app, so I decided to purchase lifetime. On recent updates we’ve noticed more effects have been added to download , this prompted my eldest granddaughter to ask , “Bamp” can they do an effect of confetti which shoots up in front of our photos, it would be great for Weddings Birthdays ect. So I said I would drop this in with my review guys. Just one question is there a limit on how many effects is put in one photo. Thanks to you all keep up the Fun. BAMP🐭

Great app but expensive
If you’re a professional animator or have a regular need to develop short animations then this app is easily worth the asking price. If, on the other hand, you just want to occasionally animate a photo to share with the family this is a very high price. I appeal to the developers to consider making a lite version or to change the model to one which allows you to purchase packs instead of a one shot buys all subscription model.

Awesome app but have limited layer of elements
It is really an awesome app and been using this for years already. But it seems that it has been changed since then. Before, I can add more than 5 multiple layers of elements and it was very brilliant! But now you are limited to only 5 layers of element. I hope you will not limit the use of it. And if so, atleast increase it to 10 instead.

Stop changing everything good
Why do you keep changing everything that is good about the app. The more updates you do the more the restrictions and downgrades you put in. You’ve changed the animation section which is terrible now. You’ve now changed the clouds\sky section which has reduced settings. The iPad is getting more powerful and you are reducing or taking features away. I won’t do another’s years subscription when you’re making the app worse. You should be adding more capability for my money not reducing it. I’ve never known an app go backwards in technology over a year. And yet the updates always say improvements. Sort it out ASAP or you’ll lose a customer.

I got this app today and it worked like a charm but have come to realise that u now have to pay to export the video on top of being limited to very few effects and quality of pictures we now have to pay for exporting which puts me of entirely as there’s no way around it but paying. Apps like CapCut which is much more universal and works in different ways doesn’t have a big cost like this app does which is limited to editing pictures really disappointed

This app works well and the effects on offer are really impressive. Unfortunately though, a lot of things are set behind a rather steep paywall. £60 is a ridiculous price for the full version especially considering the fact that other paid apps are 20 at most. Also in the last update, they removed the animate option which was the main reason I used this app in the first place. I had previously considered getting the full version of this app (only put off by the previously mentioned high price) but honestly, it’s a little disheartening seeing a previously free feature be locked behind a paywall and it’s made my mind up on not buying it.
Seriously guys, it’s really not a cool thing to do. Updates are supposed to enhance a users experience not limit it.
It really pains me to only give it 2 stars as I absolutely love this app for what it does but I can’t bring myself to give it any more at this current time

Ruined the animate with the upgrade
Have been using this for more than a year and absolutely loved it, amazing app. However, the most recent upgrade how made the animate function really basic and removed the geometric animation function. This was a stand out feature, I am astounded that it would be taken off.. sort it out please for the next upgrade as my rating was 5 stars!

Update: If there was a zero star rating, I would have given this software. Its latest update has removed the animate option which was its only usable redeeming feature. This is unfortunate when a software company is blind to users’ financial abilities. The video export was already limited to HD quality, so why was this unpopular bait and switch move introduced?
old review: Nice app... However the subscription scheme or the one time fee purchase makes it impossible to own. It’s £55 GBP!!!!!. Korg and Affinity don’t charge that much. Yes I know it’s a free download however you have to pay to get any of the cool effects and features. The free download is limited to one effect and a few elements. Either make It affordable or increase the features and effects in the free version.
It’s a cool app and fun to play around with, however in the end it’s a one-trick-pony. Decrease the price or make some more elements and features available and it will deserve its 5 stars.

Limited options in elements, Overlays and Effects
Hi,
I like this app as it enables me to edit and add a bit more to my snaps. But I have some issues with the app, first the 4K quality level. The quality of the exported files doesn’t look 4K but normal 1080p. When I add a snap in the app to edit, at the start only it reduces the quality and pixelate the snap a little. Second, the options in the Element, Overlays and Effect section are limited. It would have been better had there been a weekly additions of new elements, overlays and effects. Can we have new weekly additions? Thanks in advance.

Used to be great
Motionleap used to be a great app for animating my pictures... But now they’ve put my favourite feature behind an unfair paywall! I’m only a student, so I just simply DON’T have the money or financial stability to afford such an expensive subscription! Seriously, I only really kept Motionleap for the ‘Animate’ feature... While there were some other nice features (which have also been locked behind a paywall), the animate feature was my favourite feature!
You used to be great, but for now, I would advise people to look elsewhere if they want to liven up their pictures.
Seriously, allowing people to watch a few ads would be better than forcing people into an expensive subscription!

Awesome but layers missing!!
Only 4 stars because: It’s an awesome app for anyone who loves creativity, loves photos and video shooting.
I just wish it comes with layers features like adobe photoshop or illustrator or procreate so that I can undo certain layers instead of every time having to undo a few steps.
I find undo redo arrow buttons useful too if I’m looking for a quick fix such as like Ctrl + z or Cmmd + z on pcs.
Pricing wise I think it’s fair for subscription (I’m paying about $2 a month for one year) although I think one time purchase price is a bit high.
However all in all, I would prefer to have an additional features such as layers for user’s convenience and betterment of the app as overall. I believe a lot of designers and creators, even hobbyists would definitely love it!

The usual story - we download an app which, in it’s ‘free’ state is quite fun. A few months later the elements which were free are suddenly ‘pro’ and require far more money than they are worth. I haven’t paid - and will not pay - but still feel ripped off. In my humble there are NO excuses for removing functionality out of pure greed. I am now removing ALL Enlight apps for that very reason. Shameful. True rating? Five stars for the way the app works - zero stars for making the basic app less than it was and therefore a waste of space. Think hard before you give these people your money for a few minutes of fun. Con.

Would like a few more export options and also possibly displaying the resolution sizes as well would be a great help. However I have created a Pixaloop on my phone but would like to transfer the project over to my ipad... not sure why this isn’t a feature... unless I’m missing it! Love it but...
I liked it at first but ever since I saved one video from this and I wanted to use the app on another drawing @_crystalstudios_ but it wouldn’t let me save it without paying for the pro version. I really hope you can fix this

I love this app but recently you’ve updated some options at the expense of getting rid of some of the moving bubbles and sparkles. You have left some but the options but before there were much and more selections available.

Just amazing!!
Started using this app just under 2 years ago and it’s worth every penny. I’m no good at graphics or anything like it, but this is easy to use with beautiful results. I’d definitely (and already have) recommended it to others, it’s a must have if you like to add something different and animated to your pictures!

Great App
So, before I bought the app, I read the reviews. Some were very negative, but, where a negative review had been given the response from the developers was honest and very gracious. Based on the developers response, I decided to go ahead and buy.
I had been looking for a desktop application that could animate images quickly and would allow me to pull into Final Cut Pro X for further editing and tweaking.
I’ve bought the loop package only, and it’s great. Like any app/ program there is always a learning curve but to be fair it’s not rocket science, in my humble opinion the developers have done a great job and look forward to seeing new features in time.
Don’t always believe the negative reports. Some people are professional moaners, some people lack patience, some people are just plain vindictive. It’s a great app and does what it says.

I can’t share my image on Instagram
Great app beautifully made but when I save the image to my iPhone I can’t then find it to put on my Instagram page.
Can anyone help me with this?
I have an iPhone 7 why can’t the finished images be put into my Instagram gallery why have a app like this and not be able to share?????

Good but don’t need the Pro version
This app is fun to use especially when editing the sky and make it so the sky moves and looks realistic however for those who don’t want to pro version just screen record your picture that you’ve edited and then just crop the pixaloop features out and there you have your edited picture without paying for the Pro version !

I have recently purchased this application and I am using it regularly and I love it.
I had a problem using the application on a different device, contacted customer support and they replied within a few hours.

The best app ever ! At the beginning was disappointed because need to pay and everything but I tried free futures no need to register, I thought it’s expensive but after I used it I got totally addicted. Shame can’t afford it yet. But this app definitely won me forever. Love it !! The developers deserve a place in Valhalla next to Odin

Misguiding
I paid for the monthly service , not knowing they would charge the full amount all at once. Had I known this and had they made it clear on the terms I would have rather paid for the one month service. I have not tried pixaloop or the free version prior to my purchase- if I had I probably would not buy the monthly service. In terms of animations , the quality of the video / gif lacks quality when saving. I feel like my money has been wasted due to their failure to elaborate on the terms of this subscription.

Looks like you can use the app only once , thats right. You can edit one picture after that the app locks forcing you to buy it in order to use it at all saying “Buy to remove picture limit” but if you delete your first edit its still at its limit. :D You can download the app edit one photo and if you mess it up, do something by mistake, or simply wanna try other effects you cannot cause the app locks itself and 17€ for subscription is insane :D if i need to edit something so badly i’ll prolly do it on PC for free.

Great app with one exception
Loving this app. Has so many powerful tools at your disposal which makes your pictures come to life. The only downside for me is that there doesn’t seem to be cloud support so that I can carry on editing my pictures on my iPad. Having paid for a months subscription I expected this to be part of the price but I can not locate my projects on my iPhone when I’ve created one on my iPad and vice versa.

Sophisticated set of tools turned into an incredibly easy to use UI. Pricing plan is mostly fair as pay once option is a little expensive but not exorbitant and... at least it's there! (I refuse to pay for subscription only pricing)
The fact that the free version still provides a good depth and breadth of functionality is paradoxically a motivator to recognise the hard work of this team and pay to unlock the additional features.

BAD QUALITY WHEN UPLOADING TO SOCIAL MEDIA
So I’ve purchased the app for a moth to try it out for about £4 and very things great about it. It’s just that when you finish your Edit of the photo and export it in 4K quality it stays at 4K when you view it in your camera roll but WHEN YOU TRY TO UPLOAD IT TO SOCIAL MEDIA VIA. Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat etc. It drops to a 360PIXEL quality... what’s the point of getting the app and getting what you expect out of it... what am I supposed to do go to my camera roll to show people the 4K quality... total waste of money yall need to fix that.

I adore this app, totally worth paying for! I cannot wait to see what future updates bring!
There are a couple of things I’d like to see...
• The ability to search elements/effects & organised catgories (e.g. everything relating to fire, wind, water, sparkles, etc).
• The ability to adjust elements/effects (hue/saturation/contrast/tint/highlights/shadows/blur, etc).
• The ability to add multiples of the same elements/effects.
• An elements/effects library to find new resources (perhaps where creators can add stuff too?); downloads optional so as not to slow devices or take additional storage space unnecessarily.
• A mac version of this app - if something as cool as this is achievable on things like iphone, just think of the possibilities on a more powerful device! 😊

I’ve been waiting for this like I was waiting for my first girlfriend in my teens. And I love it!
Seriously though this opens vistas of new of spaces for ideas as long as you have a mind to view how things move in 3D. Give it a go before paying for the pro version.
Creative and I love it and I hope that the designers will expand their repertoire of effects.

Very Clever App
Great app with very clever, easy to use options. I've just recently purchased the full version, which is expensive, but you must consider the technology which has gone in to making this app work so well.
Two features I'd like to see added to the pro version considering the cost though is a small magnifying loupe in one corner of the screen when moving the anchor points, as you can't see them when your finger is pressing on them if they need adjusted.
The other feature would be the addition of a choice of more skies, as is present in the Quickshot app. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Great app
Has everything needed to create beautiful motion pictures. Was only unable to give 5* as I can’t seem to send you an email via the help/contact up section it won’t allow anything to send. I have also purchased the pro version and unfortunately most of the options shown I.e sky effete is not there.
I hope someone gets back to me soon on how I can resolve this issue

Most subscription models are a scam
In case you all don’t know it.. the subscription model is a scam. Only in few cases where the developer is having to pay for third party services to drive the app, is the subscription model warranted. This app (like scores of others on the App Store) has no such requirement.
This is a subscription model - DELETED .. Permanently!
Update: The developers response does not answer the question as to why there is a subscription model, other than to serve as a cash cow for them. The app does not rely on any third party services and therefore costs the developer nothing other than their own time. I would NEVER subscribe to ANY service under such conditions as this is a disgrace. Further, the developer now goes on my blacklist as a scammer.. because this is effectively what this is.

I’ve run out of photos of rivers. Is that all it does, just make water & sky move?
It would be nice to have some other effects & images available to import.
As it is I’ve done that now.
Other than basic instructions at start up it’s lacking guidance on other tools available. And it assumes we all know some technical jargon which is frustrating.
There’s not much you can do for free & I can’t afford to buy Pro so I’ll probably wind up deleting it.

Was really loving this app used it 5 times and was considering purchasing pro until the app stopped me using it without try forcing my Into a payment method saying I needed to unlock limit , what limit ,.....nothing mentioned about time trial limit in the free download .......yes it says certain effects need to be unlocked using pro version but nothing at all about basic function and use .....so therefore I’m not purchasing instead going elsewhere on my pc for a pro version of other video effects that I’m not being pushed into purchasing nor pushed into giving five star rating every time I click a function ....waste of time this app if you intend to try out before purchasing

I’ve only had the chance to play a little bit, but from what I’ve done so far I’m really pleased with.
Make sure you watch the video when you first open the app to learn how to use it. Had to go back through Facebook to find photos I can animate!

First attempt... not too impressed, but that was down to my own skills... or lack of?!
Having revisited I can honestly say it’s a joy to use and the results are impressive
I’d be up for the pro version but my budget will only stretch to Photofox and Videoleap pro versions at this moment in time (and they’re quality apps too)
Maybe Enlight could do a multi-app discount for their top supporters?! ;)

Fun and so easy to use
Another winner from this developer. So easy to use, and stunning results! This takes a couple of minutes to turn a beautiful picture into something outstanding. It is so intuitive and lots of nice effects already, and knowing this company well I'm sure there will be more to come. You'll be amazed at what you can create with so little time
