I downloaded this app about a year ago and (as a beginner drummer) it was a really fun game that improved my skill, but recently, since I’ve started to use it more, I have found that the sounds don’t go with the timing of the drum beats so I can’t play it properly. Is this just me?

This game is really good! As a drummer in real life I have learned new beats and drum covers! I have tried to perfect my talents on the game and I have made it the medium! My only slight issue is that I wish there were more songs to play as after a while of plying ( such as myself) you get quite tired of playing the same old songs!

The first thing to point out is the way the app tried to trick you into getting the trial version to use it. The x button is tiny, but it is there.
If, like me, you want to trial and app without giving payment information and having to then cancel a subscription if you’re not happy, you should be able to. Personally I don’t think this app is worth paying for.
The single biggest decider in me uninstalling this app, almost immediately after buying it, is that there’s no kind of calibration for the timing. So I’m playing with Bluetooth headphones on, which naturally have a higher latency, and I’m in time with the music and out of time with the visuals, or in time with the visuals and out of time with the music.
It could be that the settings are locked behind the paywall, but if it is then it’s a scummy business practice because it makes the game unplayable, and if it isn’t then the developers really need to fix that, calibration settings exist in almost every rhythm game because they’re necessary.

Also I would never sign up for a subscription anyway as the few times I have played the free version the songs weren’t even in time with the drumming making this useless and impossible to play. My daughter downloaded this App, she didn’t play it and had no idea that she had been inadvertently signed up to premium. They cleared her bank account overs a few months! £363 pa for a game aimed at 4+
This is dangerous. my daughter kept this to her self and became do distraught snd depressed she sought to take her own life by taking an overdose! Fortunately her sister found her and we were in time.

Looked good prior to download but as soon as you get in the game there are tons of ads and they try to get you into a £7 a week rolling payment which for a game (which in premise has been around since the first iPhone) is absolutely extortionate. Not even a good tool to 'learn the drums' as you are just tapping a screen, downloaded for a bit of fun but there was no fun to be had.

I've been looking for a good drumming app that teaches you how to time your hits along to songs ever since I got into drumming, although it is a bit annoying how you have to watch ads to play some songs, but I do understand why they have them there. If you're looking to become a better drummer and need to improve your timing I definitely recommend this app.

I have an electric drum kit that I use to practise on but I'm just wondering if there is somehow how I can connect it to my electric drum kit and play it on there.

Firstly, this game isn’t good even in the slightest, even before you start the game your spammed with 4-7 ads.
Secondly, the game is based on hitting the drums at the correct time cant. Cant even do that due to the amount of ads that pop up when trying to play, leaves you with a bad score and cant improve due to same issue occurring.

Yes it’s a good app. You get 1 song you can play over and over for free. The other you have to watch a 30 second video every time you want to play it.
Otherwise everything else is for premium subscription.
For a game that has about 20 songs and about 3-4 different drums on it, it doesn’t make me want to buy premium.
