Bugs

Allow full contact access on top of the app always. Even I have changed all the settings. Allowed access and every possible things. Still it appears on the top. What to do? Is it an app issue? Or anything I am missing. Anyone can help please.

Time consuming and Waste

This is not user friendly version and consumer lot of time. Full and full aim is to get money from the user. This app must let the user to get or enjoy benefits of it and to get used to it after that you can charge..

Account Bans

Whatsapp business has gone downhill, the Meta Ai chatbots mistakenly flag accounts and ban them without any valid reason. There is no human customer support and this leads to businesses getting affected. This needs to be looked into by whatsapp as its started to happen quite often and theres no solution to it which is annoying. Maybe its time for people and businesses to use other platforms instead of Whatsapp Business.

Worst App for Customer Service

I have been forced to use WhatsApp Business for my business as it was the only preferred option for our clients in our reign. It wasn’t the best app as it crashed a lot of times causing us loss of customers information and sales. It wasn’t the best app when it comes to having a team of customer service who have to connect to the same WhatsApp as the app from time to time will log them out and logging back in again is a huge pain. The app was having huge lag issues and also syncing issues. The WhatsApp Support team haven’t done anything other than apologising and asking to restart the phone. Moveing from phone to phone will result in losses of data and customer information. There is even more and more on this app.

When its working its alright

When the app is working, it’s actually quite good minus a couple of obvious features and functionalities, which could make it a bit more convenient. Problem is anything to do with the changes to the account like changing between phones with different iCloud is useless and absurd same as the nonexistence Customer Support. This is meta for you, can never relay on any of their services when something more than the very basic use is required. Pretty bad experience, unfortunately

Spamming bans are ridiculous

I don’t spam anyone and I need WhatsApp business for 95% of what I need to do. I think that the strictness of messaging people that you have a brand-new number is insane and it cost my company thousands of pounds. I don’t understand how this service is helping people or business. The spamming laws aren’t that strict that you need to block someone for 24 hours for sharing 20 messages with 20 customers to tell them your phone number has changed and that is how you contact them from now on. Unfortunately, WhatsApp is crucial to what I do and is crucial to the communication I need from my customers otherwise I would find alternative means.

Message issue

Disappointed

Was ok.
But now this WhatsApp business app is absolutely ridiculous! Made me lose out in so much money. A item which had been approved over 2.5years ago customers were able to view and purchase the item now it is all of a sudden not being approved and has been under review for 4weeks! Extremely Poor Support; Issue Resolved nowhere

I’ve repeatedly reached out through every available channel — in-app Support, email, support form, and multiple numbers — over several weeks, and my issue remains unresolved. The responses I’ve received are almost entirely automated AI replies with no real human guidance or concrete resolution. This has caused extreme stress to me and my family and jeopardizes my business commitments and client relationships. What I need is a real human review of my case, transparent status updates, and clear, actionable steps to restore access to my WhatsApp Business account immediately. The lack of empathy and accountability is unacceptable for a critical business tool.

Unavailable for Mac/PC

I recently transitioned from the regular WhatsApp to WhatsApp for business (for my business obviously), and have found it very frustrating that I am no longer able to access WhatsApp from my laptop as I did before. Talking with clients and sending documents from my laptop is much more difficult and convoluted now, and I am disappointed that what was supposed to be an upgrade for business users now makes my work more difficult. So if you rely on being able to use this on your laptop, then don’t make the transition.

Great App, but Notification Logos are Confusing

Both WhatsApp logos are now similar, the ‘+’ is barely visible when receiving a notification. Now I need to open the message to only confirm whether it comes from my business. Change the business icon to White with a Green Logo so the contrast between the two logos is finally visible.

Usually you can use a forward slash & all your saved templates in replies can be sourced for use ( a super helpful feature I’ve used for years ).

Music update

I really appreciate the music update on my WhatsApp business as it makes it much easier to update my status. I just think it would be much better if we had access to all the types of songs and not only restricted songs that are not licensed. This WhatsApp is the business model and would need a lot more facilities unlike giving the normal WhatsApp access to different type of songs and giving the WhatsApp business an entirely different music type and genre. We need this business model to also have trendy songs just like the normal WhatsApp, but it’s restricted and only has limited old songs plus the old songs on there are of no use. Awful app and disgraceful customer support

Had problems accessing my WhatsApp business and contacted the support several times! All they do is ask for your number in international form and then totally ignore you and then week later send you an email saying ticket closed. However they don’t resolve the issue or contact you properly. poor support service which is none existent. They’ve done this 7 times with me now and still failed to help me. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone as they are simply appalling.

It’s good however a lot of people thinking im a scammer as lots of scammers use the WhatsApp link it seems… also I am a genuin locksmith that has been selling car keys for sometime now but they keep leaving some of my items on review for hours and hours at a time, I even submit the same advert before and after the original edit and no change still just left on review, no one can see my listing now which is really annoying as people are asking me why this certain product isn’t online, I have emailed WhatsApp customer support and they just reply saying. Labels

Switched over to Business What’s App.
Used the tools they provide, really impressed. Catalog with photos and prices, link to website etc. Used the labels, working really well. Update last week, shortcut to Labels has gone and no making life difficult. Tried to report to What’s app Support and wow what a horrible/frustrating service that is. Can’t get an actual answer to anything and you just go round in circles. Such a shame as it was a 5 star review before this. I now just check with hope it’s resolved…….but a week on I’m still checking and hoping 😬

WhatsApp Number banning

You just get disconnected or banned from using App without any knowledge of which commercial laws/clauses that you are said to have violated and messaging you takes forever as normally no responses come through.
Can there be more transparency so that we know the violations so that users may not repeat the same mistakes even after they get new numbers and come back on App.
In my case I observed a strange trend where I had linked my iPhone’ App onto my laptop’s App but then it could just disconnect on its own.
I relinked to WhatsApp on my laptop and boom, I got banned until now I don’t know which violations I did.
I might have to get a new number in the absence of your response as time lost offline is money lost too.

WA Business changed my life.

I carried 2 mobiles for a long time. I then got a Dual SIM phone and life became a little easier - but I still had 2 separate WhatsApp accounts. I needed to keep them distinct and therefore was back to square one with 2 phones - until a friend showed me WhatsApp Business. What a pleasure. One phone and two different WhatsApp numbers!

Archaic system, horrific customer service

My account was randomly banned with zero warning or explanation. I am certain i hadn’t violated any of the terms and conditions and have written to whatsapp no less than 30 times at this point asking for help.
I can’t believe such a reputable company can remove such a crucial part of my livelihood, costing me detrimentally through no fault of my own, with zero communication or access to customer service.
I have never in my life written a bad review but after 2+ months of zero response to countless emails, I can’t stress enough how unprofessional, unethical and irresponsible WA business has been.

I use this app for binging from few years now I change my iPhone and I have 2 TB space and my backup is one because very very important so I know that. When I start my new phone I notice it’s losing last 11 days and There is missing my chats and very important so I back to old phone it’s same it should be there because of data is should be on there but I back to old phone same missing there . Where are my settings like catalogue are missing my all settings lost . This is not acceptable because we pay for ad in app. It should keep records for recent few weeks if not for longer. Poor customer service

1. The customer service is pointless, I wish I could share the email as proof.
No solution
They do not read the emails properly and they tell you we answered to you!
2. WhatsApp does not clarify/answer if an Apple device you are backing up on iCloud server or WhatsApp server. So where my dad is going?
3. Like in my case where I can not perform a full back up of my iPhone with iCloud, I’ve not a way to retrieve what WhatsApp seems to have backup.
I do not have confirmation if resetting the phone will be ok or not.
4. They do not reply if there is a third party software we can use to cover our back and do not lose the data.
How professional and serious is this?
I can see I’m not the only one having similar issues and no solution. I can’t agree more with the fact that Apple says it is WhatsApp/meta fault and vice versa WhatsApp is Apple fault.
For the price we pay Apple devices this should not happen.
For how big WhatsApp/meta is, this should not happen. I rather pay 1-3 euro for the app but have an app that works.
If you are looking to lose your customers I can guarantee you are on the good path.
Really disappointed and I understand why so many people are moving to the competitors that they are way ahead and make the user experience, smooth without this sort of drama for a SIMPLE BACKUP and RETRIEVE backup.

Extremely slow on my iPhone 15 ios17

The app is extremely slow and frustrating when you try to return to it after previously keeping it open. I have to close it again and reopen and even at that,sometimes the app continues slowly again.
It also takes a long time to load recent chats.

Awful invasion of privacy!

Recently bought iPhone 15 pro, Apple Store staff can’t be bother too much to assisting setting up a 1600pounds phone, they advise backing everything up iCloud and say all apps will restore automatically. When I tried to enter WhatsApp password all my messages have been erased - while I am travelling and working so that is crippling me right now - and without me agreeing to it whatsapp business was set up on my phone which I now have erased. I do not want WhatsApp business as I like to have control over my life and I find it intrusive that all messages get mixed up in one place, but fb and instagram have been trying to make me go on WhatsApp business by allowing only WhatsApp business button in the ads, unacceptable! and now apple too plays this trick! I am really busy and don’t wish to spend time with chatting to getting over this. After years of happily using this app I am going to change it to an app where I can have control over my contacts and chat history. This is out of order!

New Update Problem

I really love WhatsApp Business and all the possibilities it provides. However, a recent change has been quite frustrating. With recent update, I have no way of accessing my status in the list format as before. I preferred this format because I could see my posts without having to view them. Customer service is shockingly bad

I’ve been logged out of my business WhatsApp they have been taken payment and I’ve not been blocked. There is no way to log back in other than using my personal number which just transfers my personal chats. The number generated and all the business conversations customer service are not replying on how to give me access. This is a massive loss of income, there seems to be no way to speak to someone to resolve only a bot giving wrong answers. Very bad ad you’re paying monthly for a service!

Needs improvements

Overall seems to be good but having major issues with the notifications. With WhatsApp messenger you could turn off notifications but your device would still vibrate, you don’t have that anymore. I loved the feature that notifications wouldn’t pop up on your phone, more for a privacy feature, but it would vibrate so you still knew you had a messaged. Even with making sure the vibrate option is on it doesn’t work, I’ve tried switching notifications on and off in both app and phone settings and now I don’t get notified at all, even with all the settings turned on! I also don’t like the patterned backgrounds, I liked the plain coloured backgrounds but that’s not an option either anymore.

I upgraded to the latest iPhone 14 and I did it at the Apple Store so I could get help. Seems like though my back up is corrupted and I can’t get my business WhatsApp messages back. WhatsApp say it’s Apple and Apple say it’s WhatsApp. You are both big companies who work together I’m just a small customer that you’re not Interested in.
Further update I am now trying to use the WhatsApp business support by messaging them directly however they don’t read the messages.

No ability to send messages to multiple customers!!

Granted this app has some useful tools, but I have a list of over a hundred clients in my app, yet I have no way of messaging them all at once, or even select groups. This list of clients is so valuable, but I can’t extract this value. Surely Meta can see the benefit to business to message their clients as groups. New opening hours, special deals, updates. I see that this functionality has been added to WhatsApp, so hopefully it can be added to WhatsApp business too.

Colour of the bubble

Is there a possibility for you to introduce an option where we can change the green message “bubble” to a different colour?
There’s so many options of background colours but they don’t fit the green message bubble.

Support Team unresponsive and unhelpful, Tech Team banned my account by mistake

I have poor experience with WA Business. The team randomly flagged my account for abusing their terms when I have not. I tried writing to the support team and they sent an automated response once. Afterwards, they completely blanked me. Even when I sent additional emails again.
I can’t believe they are doing this. My business has to stop completely because of this sudden ban and no one from the company is giving me any support.

Scheduled message send

Would be great if you could type a reply and schedule when you want it to send, ie I do admin at night however don’t want to message my customer until the morning. Would like to type the reply and then select it to send the following day at a specific time saving me having to go back and get back into admin mode when I’m ready to get into work mode, which isn’t admin intensive

Data lost

I run a business and use this app strictly for appointments. Using this as a place to book in appointments and enquiries is very important to me but when I came to realise that the App stoped working claiming my version was outdated it stopped me from using the app. My only resort was to uninstall the app and reinstall using my number to back up all off the messages I’d received. After setting everything up and syncing my data I came to realise that none of my data had been backed up for the past month meaning I’ve lost all my appointments and dates from my work. I’m extremely disappointed and extremely angered because I’ve lost all my work and potentially my customers.
Wouldn’t recommend, extremely faulty and caused me nothing but problems

An absolute waste of time

I cannot overstate how badly WhatsApp have implemented this app. If you are a sole trader, this may work for you - but even then it is poorly implemented. If you are a business with several employees you want to have access to your WhatsApp messages, I advise you not to bother. The constant mess trying to log different people in drives me insane. You can authenticate a laptop and have an employee use that, but your original phone must be in the same room in order to do that, so you might as well just have the employee use that phone.
The idea that in 2021 we have to be driving devices around to employees is probably the stupidest idea I’ve heard for as long as I can remember.
Yes, you could set up a working solution using an API, but it’s so ludicrously convoluted that again, I just can’t be bothered. We all have better things to do than jump through hoops for WhatsApp.

Changes that needs to come

Hi,
I am whatsapp user since long time and it’s the best platform connecting with your loved one’s. What I think is missing so far is that bring some option of Notes in chat cuz a lot of busy or business people like me had no time so they save their tasks in chat note. I got spare sim made WhatsApp on it and then use it as a notes but i think it will be more convenient if u lot brought some option like viber i guess they do have it in chat. Thanks

Improve chat search options

WhatsApp can you please make us to be able to search for chats not only by the keyword but also by date. Like if I remember the date a conversation was made but I can't remember any keyword to use to search for it, there cound be option for us to search conversations by date or by month. E.g. "January 25" or just "January" and it takes us to chats made in January. Thank you

Not working properly

I've been using this app for quite some time now and it was working perfectly till now. But from the last few days my whatsapp business app gets stuck again and again after connecting. The other whatsapp is working fine. All other apps are working fine. I'm having alot of issues in this app. Get it to work perfectly ASAP.

Amazing!! Very professional and easy to use

This app is amazing, works exactly like WhatsApp but with more functionality for you business. Very professional and the best part of it is that you dont need the sim card you wish to use installed in the phone, all you need is the number. And activation and you are set to go.
Definitely Recommending this app if you are trying to run a business and don’t want to use your personal number.

WhatsApp Status

Hi I love using WhatsApp, in fact is the best app on my phone I spent literally 85% off my phone time on WhatsApp. But one thing I would like an update or guidance on, is how to go around with WhatsApp status viewers. please how can I see everyone that viewed my WhatsApp status update. It seems that I cannot see contacts that viewed my status. I’ve done all settings. Please how?

Can not fault

Genuinely cannot find fault with this app. I use dual sim on my iPhone with more and more customers preferring to use WhatsApp over email. This proved to be a perfect solution. I thought it would be a copy of WhatsApp and not useful at all but I was completely wrong. It works great! I have no faults at all with this app and it works just as I want it to.

Privacy

My small suggestion is watsap should find a solution for adding a person to any of the group. Presently any one can make a group and simply adding any of the person without his permission. In some circumstances the person like me to forcefully adding to the unwanted groups. This issue should be fixed. It’s my own opinion. Otherwise excellent worth full app. Also do something for posting full length videos.

Number banned for no reason

I purchased a brand new number for the purpose of my website. There have been 6 messages sent snd the content sending the recipient some screen shots of their social media for confirmation that it is their real account for purpose of people using them to defraud.
The app itself is great - banning a number for nothing and a useless customer service provision means that emails from a robot repeat that I’ve violated the terms and conditions- I have not. It is costing me the monthly fee of a new number and a lot of inconvenience as I had both apps on one phone.

Unable to switch security features off...

When installing this app be careful; As a business we turned FaceID on, but there is no way to switch this off in its entirety;
Going into the iphones settings, go to the Whatsapp right icon, it lets you appear to turn FaceID off, however when going back in to use this app FaceID appears disabled but it then asks for your iPhone pin, because FaceID is used to access this app? Weird.

Lacking important functionality

I thought this review was going to save me from weekend messages from clients with the auto reply. Unfortunately the auto reply doesn’t work with group chats at all, so if the client adds a partner or other third person, which is often, the auto reply doesn’t work.
It would also be great if the auto reply looked different to a normal message. I had to add the text “Auto reply:” to the start of my message to try to make it look like I wasn’t just replying and being rude! If these were fixed I would increase me review score as otherwise it’s a really good idea.

Just what I needed!

I’m using dual sim iPhone and I needed WhatsApp for my business number so I could stay in contact with customers and send them media.
I was using a copy of WhatsApp but it wasn’t very stable. When I saw this I thought it was another copy. I couldn’t believe it was a legit version of WhatsApp for me to run my second number on, but it is.

I don’t like password options

All fine, apart from password option
If I want to copy paste something or I am between pages working on message text, again asking for password
I dislike this , is very annoying, being on my own phone in my own business messanger , texting clients and if i want to go to another window to look into calendar, I come back again in password protected 🙄🙄🙄 just because it annoyed me , I tried to get used but couldn’t, I am switching back to normal one
Also ! If it business why I can’t schedule messages to be sent when I want ? Do schedule option in button “ sent” , so I can choose when I want the text to be sent and it will be so much needed!

Good but some improvements required

Great and much needed.
A couple of improvements, make the About section a bit more like a business listing/card so options to add email address, physical address, website etc.
Also would be create if the app could have a standalone contact list for just customers, so you don’t have to add them to your normal phone book/contact list.
Mixing them up with personal contacts just increases the list.
