Draw by stalemate constantly
Work hard to get into a good position and the game automatically gives a draw by stalemate. Absolute joke

Doesn't load properly
I've played this game loads but recently it keeps loading to only 99% and never actually opens up , then repeats this before I can't be asked to keep trying , annoying but the game is good overall

Ruined by bots
Used to be good but now it’s riddled with bots. Don’t get why cos you don’t actually win anything.

Garbage
The app has no player base and constantly pairs you with bot opponents who make the same idiotic moves every time - I can set Stockfish to a low setting if I want to play an engine if this level and save myself watching all the ads.

App crashing mid game
Used to be good but got worse. 3 games today and 3 crash mid games. Black screen no way to get back into the game. I had to restart the app obviously consequently loosing the game / points etc. Becoming impossible to play.

Used to be decent, but…
Since the recent update I’m finding the app very unstable, crashing mid-game frequently and now it hangs on launch, stuck at ‘loading 99%’.

Buggy since update
Keeps crashing mid-game since the update. It’s a shame because I really liked the app but I’ve lost a load of points off my rating in the last few days because of it 👎🏻

Good chess app but too much emphasis on buying gems and paying more and more money
Even when you have already purchased a subscription, you’ll still get ads to buy more gems…on every single app open, every day.
Chess is a simple app to produce but this over monetises the experience.
They will often make app updates that reduced value and add even more emphasis on getting you to buy (even when you already have).
I’m happy to pay for a premium experience and don’t expect we’ll-developed games (like this one) for free. But after paying for a premium ad-free experience, I am just not getting this.
Lastly, when prompted to leave a review and rate the app (thinking this would send to the App Store)…of course it doesn’t. Put in a low rating, and you’re sent to a feedback form. Essentially only those users who are willing to put in a high rating and good review are invited to submit to the App Store.

The latest version has taken away the 48 hour classic game now you can only play speed chess with not much time to think about your moves and if you’re doing other things while playing the game eg you take a phone call and as soon as you leave the app you lose the game please please bring back the 48 hr classic game

Post game analysis would be great, perhaps a recap of good and bad moves.

Good chess app
Has had some glitches lately, plus when i win a game and press button to check the board quickly again, my options dont let me win and take the points i can only resign etc but it hangs up.
Also 1 min games are too short, so i would have prefered 20 MIN GAMES 👍🏻👍🏻
That would be ideal because it will be a quick pace still but you wont get idiots that just stop playing on a classic game when you are smashing them for them to win by default on time 😡😡 😴😴 boringgggggggggggggggggggggggg

Worst game, while playing it shows time ticking and later server connection..... and your remain time gets too low

10mins game problem
App is good, but what happens when opponent is almost losing and did not wamt to move step within minutes left to move and dont. I have seem two matches where the clock of opponent got until 00:00 and no results displayed. It just get stuck at that screen and if I want to now play new game as I won it ask me to resume to stuck match at 00:00 awaiting opponent turn or resign which means I lose. This is a big loop hole where you won but you are forced to resign as nothing happens after opponent exhaust him time limit and yours left.

Played a game online
I had a queen and a king and a pawn and the other player had a queen and I drew ? So I put the player into check then when they moved it drew giving me -46 points ? And you search for a 5/10min game but you get 1hour to play... so boring and really gutted losing my first game when I had the upper hand and it was a draw ? Lmfao
On the other hand the first thing you see is an offer at the start of running the app you want me to cash in and pay £50 pounds which is equivalent to £5 per month so there’s no ads and so on... trash app 🤣🤣🤣 gonna keep it installed tho just gonna use it to troll your players that you manipulate 👌🏼

Small problem but otherwise great
Great game but you get stuck on the membership screen mid-game when you click the coach button. It doesn’t allow you to go back and I lost a game because of it from the timer. Otherwise it is brilliant though.

Its fin - you play against others on the same skill level as yourself
This game has an awesome user experience, especially in multi player mode.
You are randomly matched up with someone of your caliber (based on high scores and victory streak I believe) and you indulge in a quick timed 5 min each game play.
It’s short and it’s fun. I have been proud of my victories here and embarrassed of the mistakes I have made - I play one game, celebrate or resolve to do good next time - and pretty soon I am ready to take up on my next opponent :)
Good work turbo labz.
On the down side, I cannot play vs. computer in non-conmectivity mode e.g. underground rail etc. so its not a great app to play during commute.

Hands down THE best chess game
Have played a lot of chess games but this hands down the best game out there. Love the Play with Friends feature where I can challenge my facebook friends. The fact that I play the game like WhatsApp messages without having to tie myself down to play is very innovative. Highly highly recommended. Fantastic job the team that made this game.
