Not a bad way to earn if you’ve got time

I got the app six months or so ago and within that time I have found it particularly challenging to do the “find the product” tasks as they can be time consuming and frustrating because most of the times the barcode needed is different to the ones on the shelves and it is sometimes difficult knowing what the item is due to the names being spelled incompletely on the task description. Within this period that I’ve had the app, I’ve only been able to see the explore/ locate tasks once on my app even after moving to another city, there still isn’t any available. I’m guessing they basically do only “find the product “ tasks now.

When it comes to withdrawing my earnings, I’ve had no issues so far. It’s quick and stress free, no complaints at all.

Overall, I would say go for it if you have some spare time on your hands to walk around the supermarket looking for items with barcodes you might not find. £3 for finding one item right is not bad if you ask me

You can only scan the barcode of what they are giving you 1. I ain’t going threw every single thing just to find it and what if someone has already bought it then what it’s stupid

Early Problems Using This App

I have just tried to use this app in Lidl whereby I had to take photos of a couple of items. All well and good BUT the first item (large baguette) was in a clear plastic wrapper with no barcode on it. There was one on the display showing the price but no numbers underneath it. Undaunted, I found the next item; a bottle of Fair Trade South African Wine. I did find the barcode on this BUT it was different to the one specified. Why? It was so frustrating. Am I doing something wrong or is the app itself giving me bogus information? I’m so confused!

Mistakenly account suspended

After many year of been an active user my account was suspended cause mistakenly flagged up violating the guidelines. I can guarantee it is a mistake because I’ve been doing the same things for many years with no problems, the minute before I’ve just submitted a task and the minute later the account was suspended with no a valid reason! The same issue happened once before with the same circumstances but after asking to double check they immediately apologized and reactivated the account promptely. The system is faulty and I’ve lost my remaining balance. Very disappointed!

Photos + App

The task is clear but the app does not allow the user to skip one task like a second shelf picture when instructed not to take one. That was my first impression after attempting to do a task, now after one week of using it. I am confident to say that is not user friendly and it might be misleading the user to finish the task before it is worth to pass the review and be rewarded with $.

Not working.

I’ve had this for a couple of years and loved the tasks and questionnaires - but the last 6 months I have not been able to see my wallet, or any tasks - if just comes up with “oops…something went wrong”

So disappointed. All my earnings have gone, and no more tasks to do. There are so many better apps out there - Google…this has surprised me.

Nothing perfect

I have a few suggestions on how to improve the app but u don’t see the point in sharing my suggestions if they won’t be read, considered or even be wanted from the company.

Please if you are really interested then don’t reply with the same already responded message you usually send to most reviews without even reading them, but actually respond with a real answer and time as I have taken the time to type out this message.

Before time was a so so app, but now we do tasks and they don’t pay, they always gives any excuse, now they said it’s the payment provider, how many months do you need to hire a provider? Sounds like scan app unfortunate! 😢 I hope they don’t errase my review!!

Would give zero stars if I could

I literally went and completed 3 tasks (to a value of over £20) - each time I completed a task, I got an actual confirmation message saying it had been successfully submitted and was under review. Each task took me around 20-30 minutes to price report in each establishment.

Later in the afternoon, all of my submissions were rejected due to being “expired” as apparently they weren’t fully sent (despite getting a confirmation notice for each one). I contacted customer service to sort the issue, only to find myself in a back-and-forth with someone called Micheał - who may as well have been a robot (if he isn’t already) where he didn’t seem to want to address the fact that if the user gets a message with a green tick and says “task completed, your submission is now under review” - then why on earth would we question that it’s not been completely sent??

This took about and hour and a half of my weekend and I paid for parking as it was in the town centre. Only to now be out of pocket because of this scam app! Don’t even get me started on how when I first had it, I had about £10 from completing surveys and then (like what happened to most people) the app updated and I lost every penny of it.

Now Micheał has all my price reporting (as I can see the completed form with all my photos) so they have essentially gotten what they were after, but don’t have to pay out because it “expired”? Absolute con! Do not get this app.

It’s okay if your committed

So I can’t be bothered and I am not committed enough to go 30 minutes away from home. Added extra time due to traffic and stuff just to take a picture of somewhere and get 3 quid. That’s not worth it. Also locate doesn’t give much profit and you only get that task once a fortnight to be honest. Survey is okay also like once a month, it gives 25p but to cash out your money you need to make 7 quid which means if you just do surveys you have to do 28 of them to get any money. That’s what I’m doing but it’s going to take me 2 years just to get 7 quid. If your stable on money then you don’t need this,it’s just a side hustle to me.

Good app/ abysmal customer service

Pros- easy to earn money and like the variety of tasks one undertakes

Cons- reject stories for the silliest reasons and customer service is appalling- they take forever to get back to you and don’t answer questions properly

Can’t cash out

Was all working fine for months,Now has randomly signed me out and whenever I try to sign back in, I’m stuck in an endless loop of having to request an email to sign back in but not getting anywhere. Ok but needs to be fair

I got this app a few weeks ago I’m having a good time earning some money doing surveys but that’s the issue given my location the nearest task that will pay is 30+ miles away and the cost of getting there is less than the task will pay so I can only do surveys at 25p each which is ok but will have to do hundreds to get any benefit from it and I only have access between 2-5 a day so either the tasks need to be area subjective to the user or surveys need to pay more to make it worth while but overall if your area has plenty of tasks I’d suggest you try this out.

It’s a very good app but the tasks on the markets is not very good

The tasks are not very good because they’re very far from where I live. There needs to be more tasks done that are much more convenient and nearer to my location the tams miles are way too far and also paying out surveys of 0.25p is nothing to be honest as your asking a lot of questions. Surely you should earn £‘s instead of

pence ‘s some survey companies pay between £3-5 25p is better than nothing but personally speaking they should rose the money and do more tasks that are near to where you live instead of going miles away to get one task done . I did a large no. of surveys, however I’m not able to log in via Facebook - an error message comes up, so the money I’ve earnt is effectively gone. Absolute waste of time. I can see that after their app update you can no longer sign in via Facebook- I can’t even log in with the email linked to my Facebook account - it asks to create a new account. Not happy UPDATE: Emailed back and automated messages that don’t deal with issue. Absolute scam. FURTHER UPDATE: I will not be given the money I made for this company - DO NOT USE THIS APP
