Hearing Helper is specifically designed for anyone trying to talk with HoH (Hard of Hearing), Deaf, or ESL (English as a Second Language) friends and family.
Simply push and hold the mic to translate speech-to-text with Apple's Siri technology.
Tap to quick-edit incorrect words. And make anything you say BIG!
Hearing Helper sits in the background of your conversations, so you can focus on what's being said.

Great for my old mum

Mum mother is profoundly deaf and this works well. It struggles with some words but in a noisy cafe it was running at 85-90% which is pretty good. I’d second the button pushing issue. If you would like beta testing I’d be happy to do so.

Brilliant app

I work with elderly people and we have a resident who all of a sudden lost hear hear. She’s always been very independent and was embarrassed when we had to approach her with pen and paper to be able to communicate with her. A friend suggested this app and it’s brilliant, so quick and accurate. Highly recommend

Helps me hear a lot better.

I’m partially deaf. Or hard of hearing it goes up and down better or worse. Of course the speaker is very important. Whether they are male female very strong dialect or not. So this app really helps then.

Good

Dislike hold down the button. We end up thumb sore. Just press once for recording and press stop to finish.

Simple, does the job, when visiting elderly parents. Saves a lot of typing, or paper and pen, trying to be understood. Quicker as well.
