Version M62.1
I have been playing for 2 years my problem is this ,the game is more suited to millionaires than ordinary working people you have to spend big to keep up with the constant changes with in the game you get a ship that has all the top ranges but is quickly outdated as soon as the next update comes and the update comes every month, when the update does come the bugs and glitches come in all forms with game crashing to ships getting stuck and serious lag issues and screen freezing and that’s the ones I can remember poor customer service from scopely they can’t fix bug issues and you cannot get a good game experience .

This game like many others lets you excel at lightening fast speed, just to get under your skin and then starts asking for cash.
If you do not pay to progesss you get stuck in hours of grind and each new ‘arc’/ month is predictable in that they cannot launch a new feature without causing issues with game performance or if it’s not the new feature it’s an existing feature that breaks down.
If you have deep pockets and like to crush your opponents this is your game.
If you would like a reliable Star Trek game - I’d go elsewhere before you get addicted 😅

Not worthy of Star Trek title

Version M62.0
The game starts out nicely for the first twenty levels, the missions and stories draw you in like a Star Trek episode. However it’s easy to get caught up in progression fever and spend hundreds on that “Elite” Ship or more resources to speed your progression up. That ship you just dropped all that money on is useless unless you upgrade it. To do that you’ll spend more money just to bump it a level (repeat ad nauseam).
Now you’ve progressed further and found an alliance but now you are up against other players and alliances and are expected to go PvP and sit back and enjoy having your mining ships that you’ve spent the last few hours patiently mining resources to accrue enough materials to level up your building destroyed. Don’t worry though it’s all legitimate piracy under “Rules of Engagement” whereby any player way above your level will swoop in, blow your ship up and take your cargo. Don’t complain it’s all allowed under RoE…
That wonderful PvE experience you were enjoying? Forget it. It’s Whale eat plankton now. Don’t you dare speak out against the RoE or the alliances will have tantrums and demand you knuckle down and adhere to the unofficial but sacrosanct Rules of Engagement (without them there will be Anarchy: the powerful whale players say so). You are expected to knuckle down and pay homage to the Mafia families. You will be bullied, threatened and intimidated into capitulating to these so called rules. This isn’t a Star Trek game it’s a mafia simulator.

Was a great game but is becoming worse each month and absolutely no way of keeping up with it. Every month new ships to buy plus upgrades it’s ridiculous. Recently added up the monthly store items and they were nearly 3k yes 3k. So many bugs and glitches systems keep crashing it’s pants.

Version M61.4.1
This is terrible. Not Star Trek it’s a hunt for your cash. Pay to win through and through. It’s a mining game or pay for what you need. They say they stop people attacking people to far below them then I’ve got someone over ten levels about me taking out my ship. That’s another point the difference between one level and the next are huge .if you want to pick on people who have no chance of standing up to you and have a fat wallet then this is the game for you. If you want a fun game that’s true to its source material then avoid this one like the plague.

Very enjoyable game, lots to do and achieve. But frustrating, as it’s glitchy ie slow loading times between screens and the game ‘drops out’ every 20 minutes and then needs to start up again.
Without this issues I would consider giving it either 4 or 5 stars rather than 3 stars.

Good game, but may require some improvements

I’m enjoying this game, however, I would prefer it if the characters could use their voices rather than just have what they say come up on the screen and also all this farming for materials is really time consuming and not only that especially when you need to upgrade ships it takes ages. I do like the game in all fairness but would like to see further developments and updates etc

Good game enjoy it a lot but it’s broken lots of problems on lots of things hard to get all the ships takes a long time and a lot of hard work and it seems to favour people that pay ridiculous amounts of money like £90 if you want to be in with a chance of being with the big teams and right now your game isBroken once again can’t claim you your gift as it keeps going into sales your Treasury keeps flashing up it’s broke hi back with you again the bugs in this game are getting bad I now have a new problem with it I keep coming up a winner in officer event every two minutes can you sort this problem out please ASAP I now have a new problem which as been going on for the last 6 mouth’s it keeps cutting out on me mid game every minute our so and I have you people to look in to it but to know avail it’s getting that bad it’s becoming unplayable

The game rewards those that are happy to spend 1000s to get the best ships crew station upgrades etc you’re punished by being attacked and raided by those that are either willing to pay the prices of upgrades (these range from 19.99 up to 99.99 each and you’ll need to buy multiple of these to stay ahead) or spend days/months grinding away that those will attack you to steal those resources you worked to get

Version M61.3.1
This could be an amazing game.
Unfortunately, it’s rife with bullying and abusive language and behaviour, which is ignored by the developers even when repeatedly reported by multiple people.
A player on my server (104) recently threatened to find a player and shoot their mother. He was reported by a lot of people. He’s still playing. Nothing at all was done.
The developers offer things to get your money which they do not deliver on and support are a joke. They recently offered the blueprints to a ship with a £20 add-on but only gave it to players of a certain level. Support insist this was detailed in the article, despite being sent a screenshot proving it was not. It was a blatant con and once they have the money, they do not care a jot.
It’s nothing but an endless grind, unless you’re able to spend hundreds, or thousands (yes, really) of pounds every month. And unless you can do that, you’re just fodder for the few who can, to pick on.
The game itself is full of bugs. Many have existed for years, (e.g. the field training is broken for players who transfer to a different server before completing it), and the developers just don’t care. Every update brings more bugs. These updates are carried out during the day, during live competitive events, and involve, usually, 3+ hours of downtime. What software company updates their servers during the daytime, and whilst there are events running? They show an utter contempt for their players.
Avoid.

Bugs, lag, crashes - nearly unplayable now

Version M61.2
It’s a shame because I used enjoy this game. Now bugs, crashes, freezes and lag make it nearly unplayable. The app crashes about 4-5 times a session for me and probably experienced as many bugs or instances of bad lag.
The are other issues, free-to-play is about endless boring grinding, but the costs for fee-paying payers is usually £99 for an add-on. Also, the complexity of the game has grown arms and legs, not because it improves gameplay, but because it enhances the opportunity for people to pay for add-ons. And of course the more complex the game grows, the more the network is strained causing lag, and the more crashes and bugs pop up.
Scopely: focus on smooth gameplay and reasonable costs or I will find another way to spend my time.

Nice game. That’s it. Scopely does not care about their players. EVERY update there are bugs for days. Logging in issues. And the cost to purchase nearly everything is £19.99 or higher. The game will take you years to level up unless you pay. This is truly a pay to win and play game. Not enough explanation on new events. Events available even when you can not participate unless you spend money. All scopely are interested in is your hard earned cash.🙁

A game only good for community. Horrific for everything else

Version M61
This game has everything. Has a wonderful community, great content creators supporting. But that’s the only thing that keeps it going.
Structurally it’s good, but it leans so heavily on its main market. Affluent Trekkies with a lot of money.
You can only play this game if you are willing to invest 20 a month on a battlepass (2 of them this month) 100 - 300 a month on new features. And that’s before the new officers. Or if you want to speed up improvements. It’s entirely pay to win.
Every player who plays this game wants to cut the huge costs and use strategies or win events to cut the enormous costs. 400 for an officer….. which normally needs at least 1 or two more to work)
The huge amount of time that it requires to make it cheaper. I’m talking 6 - 12 hours a day and even then take you months that players who readily spend 400-1000 to achieve in a moment routinely suffer mental health issues and problems from the game.
I played for months on the premise of I had to for the money I threw at the game. Not for fun. To keep up. My mental health Improved soo much from just letting it go.
I miss the community. Which really is the best I’ve ever had in a game. The trouble is scopely know that and rip off that community and not recognise what a game they could have and how big that community could be if they weren’t so greedy and such a lack of foresight.
I’ve not even mentioned that nothing they bring out a actually ever works first time. Except the store. They even bring out events based on who spends the most.
If you want a game to make friends, do it. But don’t expect to do well in the game unless you can afford 300-2000 a month

I love Star Trek and what digit and scopely have done to this IP is tragic, the game is full of game breaking bugs that never get fixed just more bugs every update, the IAP are ridiculous and if you don’t plan on spending you will come to a certain level and progress will be impossible without buying packs. The game is plagued with server lag and crashes and god help you if you need support to fix an event scoring issue days even weeks can pass with no answer from support tickets and often when support finally answers it’s a pre-written response which doesn’t address your problems and the ticket is closed with no way to add further information without opening a fresh ticket and waiting weeks for an answer.
The sooner this game closes down the better if you see scopely or digit associated with any game run for the hills and save yourself time/money and stress there are much better games out there which work and don’t try to get you addicted to gambling and buying packs which cost £99.99 a time, ridiculous.

So here I am on my second account, dragged back in missing the people in my alliance..
That’s how bad this game is, it’s the players that make it worth spending any time in it at all..
The grinds required every single day is disgusting, add that to the millions of bugs and glitches, resetting your game every few actions, it gets tiresome..
For the OBSCENE amount of money they want for barely working pixels you’d think they’d actually have a functioning game..
But they don’t, they can’t even maintain your bloody inbox, messages disappear mid conversation making the only bareable part of the game just as frustrating as the rest!
I had emailed dozens of times about many issues on my old account, NOT A SINGLE REPLY!
I gave up and requested account deletion and had a response within the hour, my account was gone in 2 hours!
They had my money they couldn’t give a damn about me anymore.
So yeah as long as Scopay run this game it’s going to be money driven drivel, hand it over to someone who actually has players at the top of their agenda and not the pay to win bull that is currently running it

Version M60.0.1
Over the last few years the game has become unstable I once loved the game always good communication, and content, it’s now become a game that is money grabbing, with constant crashes and in game issues for iPhone and iPad, new content launches lead to poor game experience, it’s hyped up but a complete let down, daily goals are now like having a full time job in the game to achieve anything the grind/loops are horrendous. I do wish they get back to some real quality of life updates and get the game stable, and please reduce the pack costs £99 on average is not for average players and you need a lot of money to advance in this game, so if you want something to fill 15-60 mins of your day this game is not for you, it’s a time sink, I love Star Trek but this game and scoply especially have ruined the IP and what Star Trek is all about. I wish I could have been more positive, Live long and prosper

This game is supposed to be about strategy and building yourself up in a fair ROE (Rules of Engagement) type of way.
Unless you are lucky to be in a decent and fair server (not 115) you will be able to play in a productive way and wont mind the odd payment to boost yourself along. This helps not only you but also the alliance you are in.
Some people, very sadly, take this to the next level by spending £thousands to make themselves the masters of the server they are in… Unfortunately if you get some ego driven bullies in your server they can ruin the whole game if they feel like it..
For example in server 115 we have one alliance that bullies everyone else into doing what they want… if your alliance does not math their requests then they will stop you progressing and ruining the fun element of the game… 2 of that alliance are so powerful that there is no point playing.
In my alliance (which will remain nameless) we have stood up to their bullying and said NO!… we want to just play the game.
When SCOPELY was approached they believe that unless they say anything rude in words such as victimisation, they wont do anything. Others who have been playing for years are starting to leave.. I am following them too… a huge waste of time and money… GO ELSEWHERE!

I can’t believe this tripe, as this is all I can say. Actually Tripe would be more useful and more positive than this game right now. I have had issues with this game non-stop and now this new update all about the borg and yet, can access any of the missions in the holo-deck. Every time I click on one nothing happens.
When I play the game on my iPad it crashes non-stop every 10 minutes but when I play on my iPhone it is fine doesn’t crash although this new update as in the holo deck missions isn’t working on my phone either even though the rest of the game is fine and my iPhone and iPad is up to date with the game updates and IOS!!
As for the prices for ships, yeah good luck getting decent ships that ain’t going to happen.
Finally the biggest thing is the fairness, I was attacked and that is fine that’s part of the game but I went away come back the next morning to find out my station had been attacked 300 times by the same bloody person!!! Seriously how is that fair? There ships are like between 5 million and like 10 million and my ships are like 900,000 and 1.5 million so clearly I don’t stand a chance and my station doesn’t stand a chance!
Let’s no forget the Alliances that are like 50- 80 million strong and they are just attacking non-stop and your station is like 13 million, you clearly don’t stand a chance, clearly scopely need to get their act together!!

Game is going downhill fast

Version M60
I’ve been playing the game for over 3 years now and it’s clear that the developers don’t care about everyone enjoying the game despite their replies to other reviews. How can it be enjoyable to spend months upgrading your ships, research, crew and station only to have them utterly destroyed by a player 10 levels above you? Scopely suggest upgrading your ships etc but it simply isn’t possible without spending £1000’s in real money - it is geared towards these players and there is no repurcussion for them. If Scopely truly believe they don’t tolerate bullying or harassment they should narrow the pvp gap allowed, there are people on my server who constantly attack mid level players on a persistent basis which is basically bullying. Scopely don’t do anything about it apart from saying upgrade your ships etc.
When I first started playing it was enjoyable and I felt that spending money on the game was worth it, in the last 6 months I’ve stopped spending money altogether as it would cost £1000’s to reach a level where I could provide a challenge for the bullies. Now I’m simply waiting for a replacement game to come along and when it does I will move over to that.
Don’t even get me started on the multiple bugs that arrive with every update, this month is worse than usual with missions not being able to be activated among other bugs.

This weeks update has introduced even more problems than previous ones.
The only thing that does seem to work are the in app purchases. If they ever stopped working I’m sure the developers would fall over each other in their haste to fix it.
Talking of in app purchases - if you are in the UK you are paying 20% more than the EU or USA for the same content… how is that fair?

This is a good game, addictive and for the most part fun. Game chat for the main is great bar the odd idiots.
The game itself is good but unless you are going to spend BIG and I mean BIG your progress will start slow and get slower as you work your way up. This game is amazingly expensive!! and what you get in the “packs” in relation to your £ or $ is almost nothing and not worth the money at all. Sheer greed on behalf of the developers. Support is rubbish from developers no other word for it.
My advice to new players
Join a Good alliance even if it’s a small one this will help immensely with your game play. Going it alone will only hold you back.
Stick to the server rules. If you don’t you will be marked a rouge and everyone and their dog will hit you making game play and progression 100 times harder for you.
Up to lvl 12 you can swap servers, I am in the UK but chose Asia time zone as had friends on that server. Lvl 60 is highest lvl but as more reach it the lvls get expanded. Bit of a joke really. I’m lvl 31 but and this is key. I don’t rush my base upgrades or ship or crew upgrades. If you do you will always be playing catchup and always be weak.
If you join server 188 look me up I’m ShaakTi
If you want an alliance that’s respected on that server look up KOR
Above all have fun but if you want to grow quickly you WILL have to flash the cash and it’s very very expensive.

Version M60
Firstly, this is not a game to play if you’re wanting something free to play. Now, it used to be during the early years that if you invested a few quid you’d be up an ops level and probably have a half decent ship, but free to play players could compete to a degree. It was still competitive with other players because the power difference wasn’t massive, it was there but not extreme. Now, due to the dev planning being so off, the PvP level ranges being off, and the massive power of the pay to win ships which cost thousands in real cash, the game is unplayable. You unshield as a level 41 with your biggest ship 15 million power and you can be squashed in a single shot by a 1.6 billion power tens of thousand pound pixel, it’s nuts.
Every big event now requires you to pay just to compete, be it by buying a ship or paying for officers.
Scopely do nothing about bullying, harassment or racism and the level of toxicity are staggering.
The worst bit though is that for all of the money they’ve fleeced people out of, they’ve done nothing to fix the issues with glitches and lag. Instead they have invested in account managers to be on hand for the mega spenders.
This game could be amazing… but it’s just not. The only good thing about it is the social element. Even then though if you have a server with a high spending toxic or rogue player you may as well just quit in all honesty. They can literally bring everything to a halt.
It’s sad

Version M58.1.2
The game itself is a good game, addictive and has a good community of players that play the game, many are long term players and now quite rightly are complaining about the game now, at the moment I’m away for the weekend connected to the internet and throughout the whole weekend have had stability problems with the game something which a number of players complain about.
With every passing update there are new features added to the game there also seems to be more issues with the game in terms of bugs and glitches that aren’t fixed, it now just seems that scopely are more interesting in the money in which they can now grab of the players and when most things are £100 in this climate of economic difficulties is just crazy!
The game is about to celebrate it’s 5th anniversary if scopely do not do something to repay the loyalty of the this game’s community and fix the issues then I can’t see it lasting another 5 years.

Awful, buggy game.

Version M58.1.2
While this game has an awesome community, that is all it has. Cheaters/exploiters run riot and the developers simply ignore multiple reports. Bots used to locate bases and inform people when shields will be dropping. Bugs everywhere in this game. Mines you can’t use, station shields not activating, rewards from events not being given to alliance members - and the developers simply turn a blind eye or use some robotic response. If you contact customer support you’ll get multiple people trying to ‘help’ in one conversation, so they have no clue what’s going on. One member of an alliance has had an important part of his station out of use due to a bug for months now. They can’t fix it. And he isn’t being compensated or anything. They just say they’re ‘working to find a fix’. Meanwhile he can’t take part in events, or play the game how it’s supposed to be played. Do not get this game. You know it’s bad when the p2w element isn’t the worst thing you’ll experience. It is not a mobile game. Will crash every 5 minutes.

Version M53.0.1
I love this game but unless you’re willing to £1000 a month to ensure a decent progression, it slowly starts to stagnate. Even the algorithm recognises when you need certain materials and purposely refrains from providing them to you, so you have no choice but to spend. I understand the need to earn, but when committing money to the game, it should at least grant a little more leniency with required materials provided by the refinery. All to often does it recognise your need for a particular resource but refuses to provide the important one you need to progress on a particular milestone, yet provides a surplus for the other two. All too coincidental. Having spent close to £400 in the last few days, I simply have to draw the line and once again abandon a game l enjoy for a few months. People don’t have an endless source of money. And l earn a decent wage. It’s a shame.

Version M53
The game is doing ok. However I’ve stopped spending as for a long time there has been virtually no PvP on my server. Everyone is entrenched in their territories, no one is incentivised to attack anyone and some alliances simply swap with each other, which is not in the spirit of the game.
The game requires PvP incentives and I don’t mean a silly little event. There were incursions which was great fun but they have been stopped. Also Scopely seem to introduce things and then forget about them. Territory is an excellent mechanic but it needs an overhaul to keep people fighting.
If you want PvP, stay away from this game as if you’re unlucky you’ll end up in a server like mine where everyone is content to mine all day and do the same dailies that have existed since STFC began. The game could be excellent again if Scopely genuinely work hard to make sure there are proper incentives to engage in server battles. A weekly territory fight would be enough and a real incentive to do it. I mean it when I say there is literally nothing happening on our server (175)
If PvP is reintroduced then play this game as it will be worth it to upgrade your ships and enjoy improving them. Otherwise you’re best served playing something else that caters to both pve and PvP in equal amounts.

This is a good game. It has the potential to be great, but the devs need to up their game for this to be the case. The game in and of itself is good. Build things, collect things, complete missions, get stronger, add PvP if you want to....lots of ways to progress and lots of choice which is nice. As always with big ticket games; the bigger your wallet, the better your experience. I don’t have a problem with this, it’s the way the game is monetised so be it. The problem for me comes with the care Scopely give to their player base and the game itself. It is beyond buggy. A lot of the bugs players experience and complain the most about are basics that should be picked up in testing. If there is something more left field that needs reporting, customer service is shocking at best. It simply seems that scopely don’t care and see this game simply as a cash cow. It could be so much better if the devs simply cared more

Time to write another review as previous one mysteriously disappeared? Anyway, don’t play this game unless you want to spend tens of thousands of real money, it’s the only way you will make any headway and definitely the only way scopely will care at all about you!
The game is full of bullies who have spent a fortune and will destroy you constantly making the game completely unplayable unless you bow down to them. Scopely do not care anything about in game bullying or think the only way this can be done is to use profanity, and if you do you’ll be banned with no explanation, not even telling you what it was you said.
At the same time they’ll pretend the game is for anyone, but are quite happy for entire alliances to sit on your base constantly forcing you to shield and kill any ship that leaves your base, making the game completely unplayable…but that’s not bullying apparently! It’s a horrible toxic environment if you choose to do anything other than what the big alliances allow you to, but if they break the rules it’s just laughed off.
Scopely care only about money and the players who spend the most of it

This is a great game for a while. The Community is excellent and the only reason the game still exists. So, if you’re thinking about playing here’s some things to be careful of… 1. They gaslight you into spending real money( I spent a lot). It starts at small amounts but then if you want to compete or engage in new content it will cost you £100-£600 a month.. more if you want to be near the top. 2. Gameplay is engaging. However, after a while, you realise you are just clicking on different coloured triangles. New content is designed to get you to pay huge amounts of money to be bigger than the last player who attacked you. 3. I suspect the IT Platform this has been built on is badly designed so Scopely have little “scope” to innovate beyond the the original environment they created. That means there are huge issues and bugs with every new release. To sum up.. great game for a while, don’t get addicted like I was, don’t spend money. And join an Alliance, it’s the best part of the game and is free I hope that helps
I just got feedback Scopely on this review. Shocking ignorance of the points I made. “We value your concerns etc”. Again, don’t spend money on this game, you will get better games and value elsewhere.

I think in a future update you should make a PvP arena system that people who want to PvP can do so in that system outside the bounds of RoE and this would also allow and create a great system for any and all future PvP events to occur in, without such events forcing people to hide away their survey ships and weaker players finding the game near impossible to play without being attacked during the course of current PvP events. And just make an all round better user experience and a fun new dynamic to explore in the game for those who wish to do so. You could even through in special rewards for PvP in those systems. Maybe even something like a consecutive win tally, meaning if you win 10 times in a row then you unlock something and so on. Just thought this could be an all round fun idea

Great Game. Almost perfect.

I will start by saying I love this game. I spend way more time on it than is probably healthy but that is because it draws you back into it due to the rich back story and the community spirit of the alliances and server in general.
I keep seeing that it is geared for people who spend and I can say having played for over a year without spending a penny/dime on it that this is not the case. Spenders will be more powerful for sure, however part of the reason I love this game is there are ways to negate this with clever use strategies. It will take you longer to get where you want to go but don’t be dismayed by this as it makes the joy and sense of achievement of getting there all the more sweeter by knowing you did not buy success.
I don’t deny there are some bugs occasionally but not enough to spoil the game. And the owners seem to genuinely care about the game have regular updates and new content to hell keep the game fresh.
If your a fan of Star Trek or even if your not. If your a free to play or a big spender there is something in this game for everyone.

A little pricey if you want to get far but great game.

I am really enjoying this game, maybe a little too much. Because you can jump from tablet to phone at anytime it’s completely mobile so it’s too easy to log in and have some fun.
The ST franchise has a lot of sentimental value to me. I grew up watching Captain Kirk fighting rubber, aliens along with the overweight Batman and other amazing, almost dateless programs.
Everything about this game reminds me of my childhood and growing up, watching the various Star Trek outputs.
The game itself is very competitive, and also very addictive at the beginning, you might be waiting around with only a limited amount of things to do, but after just three or four weeks, you find it hard to do everything in one day there is literally so depending on how you want to play a game.
At the beginning, I was a complete free to play bye did find it help me back so I spent a little here and there.
The monthly battle pass is very important if you want to continue throughout the game unfortunately it is quite, they do give you good stuff each month, but I think if the battle pass was just a little bit cheaper that would really help.
Overall, yes you can play for free, but it does limit this game a lot hopefully in the future, they will find a nice balance where people who don’t mind spending just a little

Version M46.1.0
The game itself starts quite engaging. Missions to get you used to the controls and layout. Upgrades that give you that sense of achievement. But all that quickly deteriorates. In order to progress to the higher levels you must use resources that you gather. You do this through one of three ways. -events and missions. The most time consuming and laborious way. -mining. The true aim of the game. -spend cash. What Scopely prefer. There is a fourth way, but the developers made raiding other players prohibitively expensive and you can’t steal the full range of resources available. Make no mistake, this is a mining game. You compete with other players for the limited number of mines available. And other players always have a bigger ship. The latest event, something about the borg in Kirks time (Star Trek fans will understand the blasphemy) is another attempt by the developers to grasp at straws and your cash. Don’t waste your time thinking this is Star Trek, it isn’t! The game is glitchy beyond reason. You will spend months mining for the next upgrade. You will ask yourself over and over “why?” You will be pressured into spending cash. And above all, Scopely (the developers) are so worried about the number of people leaving the game after more than a year running that they’re having to merge servers. This should tell you all you need to know. Pure and simple, Pay to Win... except you will never win.

1 star review on apple store : So I’ve played this game for 3 years and what they’ve done today is ridiculous. New Arc introduced game play that you could purchase or play for new Crew members that would help place/rank better in the Arc because of those Crews abilities. For those of us that have been here a while we tested and figured out to use one of original crew members from the ST reboot (Gaila). And she works pretty well for this new Arc. And what does scopely do? They see it working, no one is buying the mew crews, so they took away her abilities completely and sent out a discord post saying “we’ll figure something out down the road.” This isn’t a cheat players figured out. We used the tools available for the last 3 years to play the game and they changed the rules so they can make more money. This is after the game was down for maintenance almost a full day yesterday, chat in game has been broken for 14 days, and bugs galore. Eat it scopely.

Version M45.0.0
Let’s get this straight from the start; I completely understand that a gaming company has bills to pay and being able to pay those bills is how they continue to develop games. This is a fact of life, and this game chooses (a model I prefer) paid expedited progression over ad-bombs.
However, over the last 12-18 months that shift from expedited progression to sheer pay-to-play has reached a climax this month with an arc that 50% of the events and activities are paywalled. There is now no longer a paid expedited progression so much as just paid participation; after a first half of the year which has been beset with disappointing releases, infuriating issues and poor handling of valuable player feedback this really does feel like the death-knell of the game. Scopely, your knee is well and truly on our neck. Their understanding of “carrot, not stick” is completely out of kilter and their whole approach seems to be to throw paid community managers and volunteer community helpers to placate the players rather than listen to them.
Please, if you’re downloading this game then do so knowing you’re doing so for what it can be, and not what it is right now. Right now it is a soul destroying, money grabbing horror story of what the gaming industry can do at it’s worst.

The toxicity in this game is astounding sometimes. Some players may get lucky on servers with less issues but on mine and from reading on other discords the level of abuse, racism, homophobia, bullying, hate, toxicity, etc. being banded throughout the chat and in pms is disgusting. There is a report function however nothing ever comes of it, even with raising to customer service with screenshots there is no action taken.
The gameplay is designed to encourage and reward bullying action because it simply shells drive the sale of the packs for the new content that is being added at a rate that can not be kept up with unless you are prepared to spend literally thousands of pounds a month. Just when you think you are ready to catch up on some buildings and research yet another whole tree of research is launched with all the levels needed to be done to bring it up to the player level you have reached while the spenders happily drop thousands of pounds (no exaggeration!)

Every update they add more stuff to the game but forget that they just shut the server down for 4/5 hours. For some of us that’s the time in which we get the daily missions completed. Secondary pvp in this game is trash and they keep pushing it. Players in this game will kill you just to add to the “power destroyed” leaderboard. They gain nothing from this other than growing an e p*nis. Scopely continue to cater for the players that have the biggest wallets and leave the people who are not so fortunate behind. It’s ridiculous that a level 30+ player can kill a level 21-29 player and hardly take any damage. They need level matching in this game, basically the more you play it and pay it the better you will be. The slow burner will be always left behind. Eventually you will get up there because research takes 14-20 days sometimes. I’ve been playing this over a year now and log in everyday and I’m only level 29. Do the math. Don’t play this game and go do something else with your time. Edit: 1 year later. Still playing the game but the Whales in this game dominate the rest. You can’t even win competitions anymore in the game without getting a whale beat you for the sake of it. Devs don’t really care about the game they just want to find the next way to get money out of you. They don’t cater for the casual player this is hardcore, 5/6 hours a day grind. I’ve been this game almost 3 years and it been great!
It’s about playing all the events you can, it’s about joining an alliance that works for you and you work for them. It’s about levelling up, and it’s about choosing your style of play.
Constant updates to the game to keep you entertained and loads of side games that help the main play.
Expect to meet good guys/girls and some pretty terrible people too (just like real life except online they turn into evil trolls that wouldn’t be ok offline). If you can handle it, it builds resilience and you will be playing and enjoying.
You can spend as little or as much as you want, I’ve spend £20 in store and I’m a pretty high ranked player just because I play well. The top players spend huge sums and few even play well too.

For a mobile game, the mechanics, design, scope and wealth of content is vast much like the Star Trek universe, but anyone’s experience can be ruined by salty basement dwelling little boys who whine in discord groups and then bully and gatekeep players they dislike from playing. If you want to play this game casually, don’t, you need to be lonely and dedicate roughly half your day grinding back materials stolen by malicious players and there are thousands and thousands of them per server, most of which fork out the dough to skip the grind of gathering resources to build star ships 100 times more powerful as yours, as well as talking to the other hundreds of alliances on these servers through discord groups constantly told to shut up and deal with it because one group holds themselves as high and mighty as the developers. It’s tragic really as there is so much potential and so much fun to be had here if these silly boys didn’t take it all so seriously and went outside for once.

The game is essentially gathering resources and spending them on advancing technologies or building ships. As you progress the resources required increase. Every technology advancement then takes time to build. It is a addictive cycle (not in a good way).
There are a few elements to the game. Single player, alliance, player vs player etc. The single player was interesting at first but after a few missions you stop reading the story. The developers keep expanding the game. I found the expanding scale of the game diluted my achievements.
There are daily challenges rewarding you with resources. And here is the issue. Gathering resources takes time even with daily rewards. There is the option for in-game purchases. £20 a month to increase your daily rewards. £49 to unlock a fast resource farming ship. Maybe a points rewards bundle for £20 every other month.
A recent upgrade offered to improve my player vs player strength by 150%. Another, improving my resource farming by 100%. Each was available to me if I paid £50 or more. Perhaps after significant time I may have “earned” them. Many in my alliance did make the purchase. I was unwilling to invest either the time or money.
Bottom line, be prepared for the required large investment in this game. If you wish to progress then you will also realistically need to invest £30 or more a month.
The game was fun few issues. Good work team.

Fun until you reach the mid 20 levels.

Version 9.10.0.2
As with many mobile games, you won’t be surprised to learn that this game is built around a business model that encourages in app purchases.
Scopely ease you in slowly with a few reasonable offers in their in-game store and you will be tempted. Once you level up to say 25 then requirements start getting silly as you need rare resources to progress both your base (Space Station) and ship. This ultimately is designed to slow you down, specially if you’re not regularly buying and willing to spend £40+ a month.
Where this becomes a real issue and possibly unethical of the devs is that the game mechanics allow for other much higher level players to raid your base and steal your resources. Whilst shields are available in game to prevent PvP and raiding, you will at some point forget to activate them or they will bug out or real life will get in the way as it does.
Why is this a problem?
Let’s say you’ve spent £20, £30, £50 or whatever on an in-game purchase, those resources you just bought can and will be stolen from you by a player 10x your power level.
The moment that happened was the moment I realised I’d messed up by being sucked in to the in-app purchase merry-go-round for very little progression and to feed other much higher level players.
Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Version 9.9.3
Good game, very addictive but few issues... game is solely geared to people who spend ALOT of money on upgrades (which are insanely expensive) which means lower players have to have base shields up all of the time, thus meaning you can’t progress the pvp phase cos your shield is up protecting against high level players. As an example level 41 player can attack a level
29 player where there power of a ship is more than my entire base.... scopelys response... it makes the game more interesting for high level players... what a joke. If you’re prepared for this the game is a laugh and if you get in a good alliance can be enjoyable.
Second and more importantly, there is a major issues with the game and scopely do not care. A piece shield is activated on a night to protect base, it confirms as being active .... but when you close the game to catch some zzzzzz the shield resets and your base is now free to be attacked. Turns out the shield hasn’t actually registered. This has personally happened to be 3 time’s and scopely customer services said no shield active.... but it was. They do not even try to answer the actual problem and even acknowledge it. This has happened to other people in my alliance and developers are informed but couldn’t care less. You get the same response from them and they close the case, not even allowing you to respond.

Rife with bullying and the most unfair levelling system ever conceived

Version 9.9.2
Been playing for a few months and joined a good alliance however there are some serious flaws and drawbacks. If you are concerned about any children playing this then hide any sharp knives and lock the medicine cabinet as the amount of bullying is unbelievable. Most of this is down to the grossly unfair levelling system whereby your little base can get stripped to the bone by someone massively more powerful than you, that your’ll never in a million years to able to compete against. Obviously this is Star Trek so all the hardcore Trekkies have got a foothold early on and have drawn up an intricate rule book that you have to follow, .....apparently. You’ll get a bit fed up with it after awhile unless you can put up with people messaging you telling you off for ‘playing the game’?
Still playing it but, seriously the people who designed it are are very clever, but, to be honest they're just a bunch of wankers.

Version 9.9.0.2
Worst game I’ve ever played for developer greed and incompetence. While it’s technically free to play, don’t expect to ever win anything unless you spend money. The developers are so greedy, some purchases aren’t available until after your first purchase (forcing you to spend more), some ships cost £600, and some players spend tens of thousands of pounds in order to win. I’ve never seen a game with so many bugs, there are more bugs in this game than any national park; purchased items don’t turn up, nearly every update brings bugs to the latest missions usually meaning a hot patch to fix them, loads of crew mechanics don’t work at all. Once you get past all that, there’s very little to do; daily missions are tedious: mine for hours, kill the same hostiles. Other missions are as tedious, kill some hostiles, mine some stuff, donate a load of resources for little reward. There’s so much more that could be brought to the game but Scopely just want your money, so don’t really care - not even enough to bug test their own game. I’d steer clear and leave the pathetic pay-to-win’ers to play amongst themselves.

Awful game, no support from Apple

Version 9.6.1
Game doesnt work on Apple devices. Crashes all the time. Game lags. Developers happy to take your money yet wont refund when you demand money back as game does not run or work as described or intended. They tell you to speak to Apple support for refunds as they process all payments and refunds. Apple will point blank refuse to refund anything and refuse to take any action against the app developers or remove the game from the app store, leaving anyone Apple customer that downloads this game at risk. Shocking customer service from both Scopley and Apple. Only download if you want bad customer service and empty pockets. Great game if you like bugs, glitches and constant reboots. Credit Card is a must for this game.
After trying to get money back from both Scopley and Apple, it seems all they do is pass the buck from one to the other until Apple Support just closes the case and refuses to return emails on the issue. Check out social media on Scopley and read reviews before downloading any of their games. No protection at all from Apple over purchasing in game add ons as they will just say its not their issue as per their terms and conditions. Both Scopley and Apple need to rethink how they treat customers and how they monitor app purchases and protection, if a product does not work as described or intended give the people their money back

Version 9.6.1
I haven’t spent any money on this game but from what I’ve read in the reviews, it requires considerable spending to by-pass the LONG waiting time to upgrade, and even then you’re evidently not guaranteed to get what you need to make the next step up.
Visually, the game looks good and it has the sound effects and musical score to please any true Trekkie. But if you’re short on patience and funds, this game will not keep you enthralled for long once you reach Level 14 or so... Levelling up your Operations Centre from 14 to 15 takes 23?...24?... hours (without any speed-ups applied). The highest level in the game is 50, I believe, so upgrading from 15 to 50 will probably take a year, in total. In other words, if you want to sprint in this game, you’d better have pretty deep pockets.
I love the look and sounds of this but seriously, it’s either a money pit or a slow walk to utter monotony.

Version 9.1.0
Played this game for an embarrassingly long time considering I have a job and a life to live. Which is the problem. Many on here either don’t or choose to spend so much time on the game that it impacts how others play. But the game develops seem to understand this and it makes it very difficult for you to be a casual player without paying out large (far too large!) sums for packs. Once paid, for any protection you’d hope for drains away because your base is usually only protected for about 8 hours (better peace shields are available, usually at cost!). Those 8 hours are frustrating for the casual sleeper who won’t schedule their sleeping around that.. in short any resources bought for us then just taken by other players. I refuse to pay such high amounts. Which is maybe by when the game glitches (very frequently) support will simply not answer you. They will answer if you’ve paid for a pack but as others have seen, very rarely do they actually help. Not bad to fill time if you have it I suppose, DON’T buy any packs-they simply aren’t necessary to play casually.

Great game - be prepared to be on a lot!

I started this game in Nov 19 and have played it everyday since I started! The game is really interesting and has lots of smart ways of keeping players involved.
Yes it can be free to play but most players will benefit by pay to play/play to win. Playing for free results in players needing to accept that things take longer. I don’t usually pay to play but I have spent a few pounds on the odd pack now and again.
It is very satisfying when you finally get enough stuff for a new ship or upgraded building. Growing in the game takes time but with lots of missions, buildings, research and officers to improve and upgrade it is fun.
I worked hard to have good rep with 2 out of the 3 main factions. This allows me to get better ships and officers.
Recently they improved station defence which is nice but if I am not playing I have a peace shield on, which is a must!
Being active and in an alliance really helps and makes the game much better and fun. Working to keep mining nodes and complete events is much easier and of course gets you better rewards.
There are some minor faults or errors but the in game support, responds and helps quickly.
Overall, fantastic, wish I could play it on my PS4.

Version 9.0.1
Have you got boat loads of cash lying around? If so this could be the game for you. Possibly one of the worst pay to wins you will come across. Sure progress is easy on the early levels (getting you drawn into the game). Then later on you find out the resources and raw materials you need to progress become harder to find and a lot more of it is required. Want a cool star ship like the enterprise? Forget about it. Do you like Star Trek? Nobody cares if you do or you don’t, just give me your money. Want to buy resources for real money that someone with bigger pockets than you will steal? No problem this can be arranged. Want a game you can play a couple of hours a day and chill out and have a good time. Forget about it, you’ll need to spend every waking minute doing challenges to get peace shields to defend your base so no one can take your stuff. Surely only a matter of time before games like this have to clean their act up. Someone somewhere is making money though eh...

Version 9.0.1
After purchasing packs in the game and starting a base shield at bed time, I checked the shield and it’s working fine but woke up next morning to find my base raided and empty. Impossible to get the resources back and support refuses even though the shield bug in the game is their fault. Scopely seem incapable of refunding their own errors.
I have played the game for a long time and it’s quite good fun except support WILL REFUSE to refund even when the game has a bug that’s their fault they won’t return lost resources OR do anything other than send pre-written excuses and ignore your claim. It’s not the first time, over the last year it’s now many times support has done this. The game is great it’s just full of bugs and your money will be gone with no chance of return. I’m sad to leave the game and join the many inactive bases that the game now has from players distraught at loosing everything after so much hard work and pack purchases.

Version 9.0.1
Such a shame that I have to leave a negative review for this game. But as the title says ‘Sometimes potential isn’t enough’. The actual game is quite good and if this was a newly developed game I’d say stick with it as could be awesome. But it’s not new and it’s not getting any better, every time a new update is released it has major bugs, adding to the existing bugs. It’s like scopely can’t fix something so add a new feature which then doesn’t work because it has bugs and it’s just an endless cycle of which bug is going to affect you today. I’m now at point that have to delete and reinstall the game at least 5 times a day to play! As a result your base ends up being wiped out because of multiple bugs merging to basically make it impossible to work around and although Scopely recognise that it’s as a result of their errors they won’t reimburse you for any loses! They ask for feedback, plus I’ve done several additional surveys, but what’s the use in feeding back the bugs when the response is yes we’re aware but can’t help at this time but please reach out with any further comments...further comments? What’s the use of further comments if there’s never any resolving of them? Anyway, great game, spoiled by major game altering bugs with nothing being resolved.

How to teach bullying

Version 7.10.0
The premise of the game is good, however after more than several months of play I am becoming more and more disappointed. The very major problem is the game encourages bullying, something we try to teach our children from an early age not to do.
As you progress through the game you will find that higher and higher level players can (and will) attack you with absolutely no possibility of defence or ability to hit back. I'm now up against players who are 10x + stronger than I am. You can purchase upgrades through the store but they will give very limited benefits and are eye wateringly expensive, and will still not allow even play. The other issue is that you have to mine for resources, OK however once again, the spots are limited and if you are lucky enough to find one you are highly unlikely to keep it for any reasonable amount of time before you are bullied off. I've contacted the developer's and received the usual bot reply of thank you for contacting us we will look into your problems and get back to you, needless to say no meaningful response to date. You can F2P but only on a very limited basis, to be honest don't spend any real money.

Version 7.8.1
Did really enjoy this game, built a strong alliance up to top 20 alliances in the world...but...
The game is inequitable - as level 25, I can be hit by lvl 30, approx 3-10 times stronger than me, with zero chance of defence. Mining is pointless as all mines armed just taken by people who are lower level but stronger than you?
It just doesn’t make any sense - if you want to spend money then go ahead, but without spending stupid amounts you wont achieve much. Any upgrades become so ridiculous taking over a week for some, then you need 60k of this resource but only produce and store 50k, so you either buy it or mine it - you cannot mine as you just get raided constantly.
If you can spend literally hundreds of thousands or live with a perpetual shield up, then great, go for it/. When events are on some systems become stupid, and you cannot participate.
I gave up trying as its all about big guys hitting the smaller players and whining little players who complain about neon existent rules and agreements that make no sense (supposedly no hitting undercapacity mining ships but how do you tell because you cant know as there is no clear way of knowing!)
If you want to spend hundreds of pounds and spend every day dealing with messages from other players whining about people playing the game, then feel free - helps if you speak Russian or Chinese too as the majority of powerful players are from these countries

Play smart or Pay Silly

Version 7.6.2
The game has pros and cons.
This is a strategy game where you Play Smart, pay silly money or get frustrated.
Pro’s. Great graphics, reasonable controls, story line that evolves and gets extra side chapters developed and released, plenty of building and upgrading, alliance benefits and limitation of the player level you can attack in an effort to address bullying. Although your base can be damaged and robbed. They can’t steal everything. Only basic materials are taken and there are ways to cope with this.
Con’s. Money talks and gives a massive edge. Only 1 on 1 combat allowed so stronger players you can’t even scratch their paintwork can dominate you. Alliances operate a ‘fair play’ policy that just limits your fun and turns the game into FarmVille, then people exploit this and rob you anyhow. Some missions are way beyond your capability for months so be patient and expect a list of over 10 missions you can’t do.
All in all, you can find your way to play free as I have and still give players in your range of permitted attack range reasons to respect you, even if they don’t like your play. If you want to be safe, then the illusion of this can be found in an alliance. If you want to be an independent, don’t let yourself get civilised; be brutal in your retaliation.
Choose your style, Pay, Cry or Play

Version 7.6.1
Been playing for a while and although the concept is great, you quickly realise that after the lower easy levels you don’t get anywhere without paying - problem is not to pay, problem is how ridiculous amounts you have to pay to get ressources which will enable you to make just 1 upgrade.
So every time you want a decent upgrade you need to pay 99£ - yes 99£. This is close to robbery and is a clear deterrent to many players.
I do not think this is ethical to push people in spending that type of money when considering that buying a P4 game will cost you half of that (unless you fall for a similar trap on fifa). Long gone are the days where players were considered. Go to clash of clan instead at least if you want to pay its affordable and if you don’t pay you can still progress smoothly through the game.
Sad to see that a great idea is spoilt with greed!

Version 7.6.0
You quickly find out this game will cost a few hundred pounds a month to progress. If you’re thinking you will earn progress by playing time, You’re very wrong. The more you play and spend, the more money you have to spend just for basic upgrades. Unless you plan on living a few million years. One of my smaller ships require £600 to upgrade one item, to tier one level that would be 7*£600. There is no other way to complete missions and play fairly with other players. Ships have different tier levels one ship of mine has another 5 tier levels at least.
The game how it relates to Star Trek are just pictures of ships and officers you could easily imagine Star Wars branding in its place.
If you want to understand about the cost just download it join an alliance and write to a few big players. Most will say they wish they hadn’t of invested time and money. There are so many money spinning events you need ships and officers to take part.

Version 7.5.4
Been playing for a while and I’m ftp all the way (i don’t buy stuff).
Game play works well at early levels until you get to around lvl 20, at which point the game play gets ropey: many missions impossible, system of rewards don’t stack up (e.g. the stations which have the resources you need are too strong to hit, those which you can hit have no resources), and the events are always stacked in favour of more powerful and resource rich players.
This is designed to encourage you to spend money on upgrades of course, especially to get the powerful ships you need to succeed. For ftp players like me it just turns me off due to boredom.
Before I get to the good bits, my main gripe is that on iPhone the game crashes all the time: I lose connection and then it feezes and I have to reload the app: pain in the proverbial.
Good bits: join an alliance and you get a real sense of team play, people look out for you and vice versa.
There’s strong ethics by players which is interesting, especially when a player beaks the rules! The gamification is smart, you can literally spend hours on the game: I hear higher lvl players spend upwards of 5 - 6 hours a day or more. It keeps you on your toes there’s always something to do.
Overall, I’ve been close to deleting for good at times due to the bugs and freezes, but if they fix those I could be playing this on my deathbed.

Version 7.5.4
While mining, especially things like dilithium which is hard to find an empty mining spot so you sometimes have to attack a miner, you find players who have probably paid to upgrade will kill you just for the sake of it within seconds of you starting to mine.
It’s not like they are doing it to access the mining spot or they wait until you have mined enough for them to benefit from stealing your cargo when you die.
That and glitches like ships stuttering when coming to the end of a move so they repeat the last bit of the journey a number of times. Almost like a repeated rewind and replay. Sometimes you get stuck in this strange loop until you stop the game and restart it.
The latest problem I have is my level 20 phindra won’t let me upgrade the weapons because it insists I only have 30 out of the required 31 2 star crystals when I have a lot more and can upgrade the other systems. So I’m stuck at level 20 with my phindra.
Maybe warning you that you are being scanned might give you a chance to warp away when someone is about to attack you while mining. Unless of course the other player is so powerful they don’t have to scan you before attacking because they have paid to upgrade so much.
That or limit the number of attacks on miners per day or per system and day.
Now the latest couple of updates have caused the game to crash every few button presses so it’s almost impossible to play with the constant crashes to desktop.

The game itself can be okay, but the communities are just toxic and incredibly egotistical. If you want to enjoy the game, or at least if you want to be able to play the game, you better have a pretty deep wallet. The pay to players get incredibly biased boosts and favouritism from the devs because they’re just after the money, way more than you’d expect it’s just blatant favouritism - the events that appear are also heavily worked so the paid players get the biggest rewards (since there’s no way those high-tier rewards can be obtained without first spending *a lot* to reach that level). The game is buggier with each update and support are arrogant and dismissive, as well as often just ignorant. The packs you can purchase in game are incredibly unbalanced too. For the same price you can buy say .. 100 of X and 50 of Y, but if you click on the pack next to it for the same price you’ll get 250 of X, 175 of Y and a whole host of other things. They don’t care, so long as you pay them.

The concept of game itself is great, similar to many build and upgrade your “base” games, if you enjoy them you will enjoy this. Sadly the delivery is terrible there are soooooo many bugs. Players not being able to load their stations. Players hiding their ships under mining spots and planets. Other players ships not appearing on mining spots so you end up attacking them. Shields not stopping attacks even though you’ve activated it.
The other issue with the game is that it is not something you want your kids to be playing the Galaxy Chat is horrendously vulgar/ often homophobic and racist. You can report players but that seems to do nothing.
Once you get to a certain level you will need to grind to progress (not an issue it’s to be expected) the issue is the pvp aspect that inhibits this, the toxic element within the game will just destroy your ships and stop this. Expect to pay hundreds of pounds if you want to progress beyond level 22.

I had this game and thoroughly enjoyed it. I found it was too slow as a free to play but decided to start spending some money on it. This was great and was advancing quickly..then the problem came ...I found then when people attack your stations they loot all your stuff. So for example I spend £48 on a pack and within 25 hrs I had been attacked and essentially lost all the money. Now you do get free shield rewards every so often and can buy shields too..but buying shields would be a small fortune each week to get the 1 day shields. Anyway because you always get the 8 hr shields for free this is great but unless you can be awake every 8 hrs to put them on ..they don’t really work ..my shields were down for about 10 mins and lost everything in that time. Game uninstalled as didn’t want to be tempted to spend more and lose it again.

Version 2.01
It is a game that is what you expect, fast levelling up at the start, slow levelling up the further you go. Do not let it stop you. Unlike most similar games I have played, this is the only one that actually has a small story driven objective, and it is your choice to do them or do away with them, but the stories do project your alliance with either Starfleet, Romulan’s or Klingons.
I think the concept was brilliantly thought out, and I hope for future updates to keep improving.
The only problem I find are the ‘ghosts’ of the past. Inactive players horde around planets between lvl 6 - 12 and overtake all the mining deposited as they haven’t been active to recall their ships. It’s okay once you are able to attack them and take it for yourself, but you have to be operation lvl 10 to do so.

Version 2.01
I was looking forward this game and started day one. Everything was fun for a while until you begin to realise how monotonous it really is.
Most of these RPG type games work on the premise of collecting 3 different types of resources to build yourself up. Not this game, it’s 6. But wait, it’s not even that simple, you have to refine. And it gets worse, you can only refine a certain amount every 9 hours and what you put in, you’ll get a very small amount back. Once you progress to later levels, the more you’ll need and the longer it will take. It could be days refining because of the limitations.
Of course, this is where the title of this review comes in...your bank balance. If you have loads of money to throw at the game, like some already have, then you’ll do great. To be fair, it’s the only way you’ll progress in this game past about lvl20. Not just that, but to get a better crew, which makes the major difference to your ships power, you’ll need to spend money.
I’ll guarantee, unless you’re throwing loads of cash at it, you’ll hate it in a couple of months. This is by far, the worst RPG to be made, with very little thought given to player but more about how much the company can make

Avoid

Version 2.0
If you’re looking at starting this game, avoid it unless you have loads of money to spend on it.
The concept of the game is to mine resources to progress your station and build/upgrade your ships, however when your station passes lv15 you are open to attack from big pay to play accounts who have spent a fortune to get the biggest baddest ships that are available and then rob you of about 90% of your resources, they don’t need to mine, they just take yours. In other games you might get some sort of shield that stops you getting repeatedly attack but not here. In this game you get a 5 minute shield where if you are active you can activate one of your own, if not then it’s tough luck as you are now open to attacks for the next 8 hours (that info is from the devs).
Also the game is loaded with glitches. You have missions to complete such as attacking hostiles (shown as red ships in game play) but many of these have become static on the screen and as such can’t be attacked. You can also send and receive help to build things from your alliance members but in order to see the help requests you need to force close the app and reopen. These glitches have been reported but I don’t think the devs care as there as still some people who are willing to throw big money at this glitchy game, so as long as the lolly flows the glitches won’t get fixed.

Version 1.7.4
This is a great game with lots of potential but after playing for months it is still glitchy. I have now deleted this game is sheer frustration, after having my mining ships mercilessly attacked by much higher players I got to level up my base only to then be attacked several times again by much higher players, the last attack was by the same person 3 times in 5 minutes the first to destroy defences and fleet then the second and third to strip all my hard mined and saved resources, I have played a lot of games like this and most of those give you the ability to repair and collect resources whilst under a 24hr shield post first attack, they also have tier systems where only players of the same rank may attack you, it might seem like a moan but I have read so many other players messages in chat and found that they have the same frustrations. Please fix this and I’ll gladly return. So disappointed in this game and the developers lack of listening to the players.
