- Added Arp transpose mode (appears with the arp enabled)
- Arpeggiator Variation control now adds ratchets in addition to repeats as it did previously
- Added an option to limit the number of MPE channels used (useful for synths that only have a set amount of voices like the OB-6)
- CC Layout now supports buttons in either toggle or momentary mode
- Standalone: Added Ableton Link support
- Standalone: Tempo control can now be tapped for a direct input prompt
- With the Arp running in Chance mode, probability can now be set using the Variation control
- Scale and Root selectors now support popover selection
- Fixed an issue where Pitch- & ModWheel would always transmit on channel 1 when using the AUv3 plugin
- Fixed an issue where using the Chord layout and Arp would not work properly with latch enabled
- Fixed an issue where the Arp timing would not respect sample rate changes
- Fixed an issue where the Arp mode UP/DOWN2 running over multiple octaves would repeat the first note of every octave
- Fixed an issue where the Arp mode UP/DOWN2 would not work properly with just one note active

Indispensable!

KB-1 is an excellent software controller with loads of possibilities. I use it a lot in AUM projects; it works very smoothly and has never had one glitch. There really isn’t much else I can say.

iSymphonic

Does not work with the above app. Great with others . I’m sure we’re just an update away.

Amazing controller

Very versatile and useful MIDI controller - it can do so much, and it’s MPE compatible. An amazing app.

Amazing

This thing is the business for someone who isn’t trained in keyboards ... like me. It opens up so many possibilities and is technically fantastic, too. You can’t go wrong with this.
20th deb update: impressive update with tons of new features, including lots of new chords. One of the best apps out there now, especially at such a low price. Undoubtedly the best keyboard app now.

Very nice virtual control keyboard

When you consider how bland some of the built in keys DAWs like Cubasis have, this app is truly useful. Choose different scales, chord mode tied to different scales, up to 3 virtual keyboards on screen controlling different synths.
Just tried it with it Volt and D1 (although I won't be using D1 in any track until AUv3 comes).
KB-1 is worth buying!

Innovation at its best!

Anyone regularly using IOS based synths and pianos, etc, will take less than 5 minutes to realise the sheer brilliance of this app. Not just multiple keyboards, but multiple kinds of keyboards, and simultaneous control of multiple apps. At launch, KB-1 is a delight for musos and dabblers alike, priced attractively, and destined to be essential kit.

Nice bit of kit

I’ve been using a similar app for a while now, but KB-1 already offers far more. This app is newly released, so it’s still early days, so looking forward to seeing how the app develops.
One thing I would like to see is an additional latch option, whereby when you play a new chord, the previous chord automatically unlatches, at the moment, you have to play the previous chord first before playing a new ones. This option was available in the other app I use, and has proven to be a very useful option.
