Overall, this is a terrible app. It’s laggy, takes too much space and looks dodgy. The grades aren’t even correct. How is my target lower than my grade? It also causes stress on mental health.

I have spent a fair while going through the app on the internet browser and the app to figure out how I am suppose to ACTUALLY communicate with these people? No where can i see that little 📤 or the + or ✏️ to create a new message or reply to the ones I have in my inbox??.... luckily I don’t need to be in contact with them ehhhh

This is a great app for schools but it’s not quite a 5 star app because I have had trouble signing in and I put my information in correctly but I’ve got through that stage and it works great and I recommend this for schools

I DOWNLOADED GO4SCHOOLS AT 3AM AND NOW I HAVE 666 HOMEWORK TASKS (GONE WRONG) (DO NOT DOWNLOAD) IT WAS ALMOST AS SCARY AS MY FACETIMING AMONG US AT 3AM CHALLENGE, AND THATS SAYING SOMETHING. ONLY DOWNLOAD IF ITS NOT 3AM OR YOU WILL BE HAUNTED BY SCARY TEACHERS.

It’s not bad but crashes a lot and sometimes on schooldays my whole school can’t use it! It crashes a lot but other than that it’s good for your timetable and homework tasks, along with also marking down events that have happened to the person or tracking their merits.

Detention way too many time
This apps is really rubbish! Gave my son lots of detention for nothing!! Caught him a lots of stress & his mental health!! It did not helped us all!! The teachers told me it is glitching!!! What a bollock!! Pls do something about it!!! I am not the only parent whose have the same problems as well!! He done all his homework for Christ sakes!! Cos when he done his homework, the teachers shouted at him he tried to tell them he done it but they said he didn’t due to this stupid glitching which it didn’t help!! He just trying so hard to move forward after my dad’s suddenly passed away. My son have thought to end his life for what this stupid apps!!!

It’s really glitchy
Yes the work is there when I need it (if my teacher has put it there) but I need to click things slowly and take my time otherwise it will glitch me out do the app and I would have to do everything from the start again.

Come on guys. If you are going to invest time and money in creating an app, occasionally check it to see if it’s working. Crashes upon load up 9 out of 10 times. Poor effort.

This is a very frustrating app to use. It rarely loads and quits out all the time. Considering this is the app used by the whole school for homework etc, it is just not good enough. The content when working is good, but it just isn’t reliable enough

It used to work
My school got this app ages ago and it worked amazingly but when we started a new year it kicked basically everyone off and none of my friends can use it anymore. I even tried deleting and re-downloading it but nothing seems to work. I now don’t know when my homework is due and if I even have any!

Barely works half the time
Most of the time this app is completely fine and shows my work grades timetable, whatever, but some days it just decides to not work and says the request timed out, the refresh button does nothing to help and I’m stuck here wasting my time waiting for the app to load while I could be getting on with the work, but I can’t see the work without being on the app, please fix

I mean...
It’s a good idea, everything’s there but it can be pretty crap sometimes. It crashes a LOT when I try to go on it and when it doesn’t crash, it takes forever to load. And when I tick off a homework, it doesn’t show up unless I click “history”. And it’s pretty inconvenient especially when I have a homework due in that day and it doesn’t even give me a notification saying it’s due in. It’s not great for quick, easy access before school starts or something.

When it works it’s brilliant!!
I really do think this app is brilliant and I’d love to score it higher but it has some massive flaws!!
Don’t try accessing it at peak times for example between 3pm and 5pm!! You won’t be able to get on, and this is really when you need to!! Everything works fine when you can access it but you need to check early morning or late evening just to get it to open!!!

We have to use it unfortunate because the school use it. 90% of the time, when you try to look at anything, a it either hangs at the loading screen and then closes itself or you just get “The request timed out. Please try again (102)”. Complete waste of phone space. Awful.

First time user - why do schools use this?!?
Our school has just started using this. So I am a new user. It’s awful. I have only manage to get it working for 3 days then it crashed and now I can’t use it at all. Do schools review new suppliers thoroughly before they walk blindly into using an app that isn’t fit for purpose 🤦♀️

After constantly getting Errors and unable to see data, by chance, discovered that opening all old messages fixed the problem. Weird but worked.... when it works - good app. Developers need to look into bug fixes though.

Really unreliable
I have been relying on this to tell me what school work I have over lockdown but every now and then it just stops working for hours at a time and no matter what device I try to load it on it just doesn’t load.

Hardly ever loads correctly
Every time i go to check my timetable for a day it doesn’t load. It’s not my phone because i have the X and it’s normally right next to my wifi box just through the front door. When I go to tick off one of my homeworks it just unticks itself and I think i still have to do the homework. It’s even worse that my school is using it for lockdown.

Don’t download it’s a waste of time. Yeah it works but most of the time it keeps crashing my school uses it even though it basically doesn’t work for iPhone 6s and below. If you download this and you are reliying on technology to help then this app is not for you it’s basically a backup plan. I’m not saying that you will hate it because some people have different opinions but if there is a school reading this review then you shouldn’t use this there are plenty of other ones that work 10 times as better than this if you like the app then good for you but this is my opinion on what I think of it so you can try it but if you have a phone lower than a 6s then don’t bother I don’t know about how good it works on Samsung but yeah hope this has made you choose a side

The work set has not been available which is a big problem for my child because they wont be able to access their work. This app is rubish and confusing for my child and needs to be fixed and be more easier and accessible for my 11 year old child .

Bloody terrible
Little jimmy has been very naughty and hasn’t done his homework, so I went to smack him round head as I was driving as punishment and killed a few kids from the nursery next door. Next thing I knew, my wife had smacked me on my leg, causing me to ram into the building again, and the building had collapsed. Hopefully people learn there lesson from this.

I love this app and I couldn’t live without it but it does have some problems. The other day I couldn’t get on it when I was trying to look and what work I had ready for my school closure.i have to wait till 6 in the morning to get on it. Terrible App
This app is just about the worst homework app my children have ever had. There are no filters on the homework type and it is difficult to navigate even so. All of the text is too small and the old fashioned type facing makes the app look tired. In addition it is constantly crashing. Very disappointed.

If the developers see this, I just want you to know that all the one stars are probably because their school hasn’t put a system in place. So that’s why nothing shows up. However, my school have recently started using go4schools and it works amazingly! I can see my timetable, homework and everything school based. Love the app and I think you did a great job creating it. Thank you! It’s the best! :) x

Don’t bother
Literally nothing on this app works. Timetable? Error. Homework? Error. Attendance? Error. Report? Error. I can absolutely see why this is a free service. The only thing it’s good for is an excuse for not doing homework since it never shows anyone their homework. Im sure most people reading this review are NOT the teachers looking for a free alternative to Show My Homework so this won't make much of a difference.

Absolutely amazing app but I can never get onto it
This app is a great idea as I’m always using this website but the app itself is absolutely useless, yes it gives me everything I need but it never lets me access ANYTHING. The app is either always crashing and kicking me off the minute I click on it, there’s ALWAYS some sort of error with one or multiple things and it’s incredibly laggy. Only rarely I can access everything without a problem. This app is very useful and a good idea for students, teachers and parents but please sort this out! If anyone else is experiencing this please tell so the go4schools creators can see! Xxx

The website and Mobile app Keeps going down
The service is a superb idea and works brilliantly when it does want to work. It makes school life easier.
It would be fantastic if the progress reports could be viewed on the mobile app not just only on PC.
Sometimes it doesn’t load up correctly missing fields and them showing up in (RED). The website and application takes a long time to load and sometimes crashes and boots me out of the application.
There are still improvements and bug fixes/issues that need improving to make the service run more consistently and stable when a lot of users are using it. It cannot handle the amount of users at all and needs sorting!

It is easy and accessible and u don’t have to go on google and search up g4s every time you want to check your hw. Don’t understand all the reviews about EA and about playing the game for 50+ hours when you can’t even play g4s because it isn’t a game. No teachers allowed
I don’t understand why teachers can’t use this app, it is only accessible to students/parents. It would be beneficial for teachers who can then quickly do registers or access data when they have no computer access rather than having to go online on their phones to do it and log in every time which takes ages especially as it never saves your log in details on your phone online even when you request it to.

Filter lists
It would be really helpful if you could filter the homework list. For example you should hide the items already tagged as complete. You could also hide any items occurring, say 2 weeks in the future. This is because one department added a whole year of homework. It is not helpful to see 15 items even though only one is due this week. Have a look at ShowMyHomework if you want to pinch some features (our school used to use this but sadly switched to you this term). It’s also essential to show a list sorted by ‘completion date’ and to have a simple list showing what has to be submitted in the next week day. Sorting by creation date is of no value, it’s the completion date that matters.

No information available what so ever!
When logging on to the desktop version the website informed me there is a app version, do I thought great this will be much easier to navigate and access rather than logging in every time to the webpage.... waste of time. I can’t view anything at all. All it shows me is my daughters name her school the school address & telephone number. THATS IT.

Downloaded the app thinking it would be more convenient than logging in through the website every day, but after using it for two weeks all I get now is ‘log in has expired’ with no option anywhere to log back in! It’s now absolutely useless to me as I can’t use it at all. Complete waste of time

Gets better and better!
Bit underwhelmed at first though being able to check homework easily on my phone was helpful. The app has really moved on quickly however! Great to get a summary of attendance and the new behaviour stuff is good too. Now waiting on how he’s doing in class?

I downloaded the app when my child’s school said they now had the app available rather than having to log in online all the time. I was expecting it to be the same as what I see when online, but all I get is what lesson my daughter has next and what homework is due. There’s no housepoint score or behaviour reports or attendance, so have gone back to logging on online to see everything. Shame really the idea of just looking on the app rather than inputting email and password every time appeals. Hopefully will become more detailed in future.
