- Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase

They say you can use it for free, but that’s not the reason they made the app. They’re hoping people will forget to cancel their free trial and carry on paying £7.50 a WEEK! Absolutely insane and shouldn’t even be allowed on the App Store

If you don’t have a lot of money and are looking for a cheap and good metronome, LOOK ELSEWHERE. You will not find what you are looking for here. As soon as you download the app, it expects you to do a 7-day free trial and then you have to pay around £7 (if you’re in the UK) just to use it. I just wanted something to help me get better at drumming!

Got charged for this bloody app £7! When I didn’t even use it or realise you had to pay -I want a refund looked everywhere on my phone to cancel subscription didn’t even realise it charged me until it came through on my phone! So bloody angry

A responder says you can use the app as a free restricted option; but there is no ‘option’ option once downloaded. It’s either premium or not. So how to have the non premium version?
Please provide a link to be able to have Metronome ‘Lite’ if there is a version available. Most app developers provide two versions to download. Seems you want everyone to have to go through the route of the ‘free week’ and then remembering to cancel the very expensive subscription. Feels deliberately planned to ‘con’ people out of money they don’t want to pay as many will forget to cancel the subscription.
An honest way to present and publicise your product would be to offer two versions up front so people won’t inadvertently find themselves paying out.
Be a decent company and provide the restricted version alongside the full version so we can choose.

Wow!! That’s over £389 per year. A total rip off. I accidentally bought the subscription (due to sensitivity of Touch ID and no confirmation button (Apple, please change this behaviour) on my iPhone. Now cancelled and will not reuse app again.

I was looking for a metronome and so downloaded this app. I was no aware that the developers were charging £7.50 per week or over £35 per year. For that money you can buy a very good actual metronome.
